enough to get by i suppose, but not enough to win any hard jeopardy questions. all i know is that i sure love shadow an awful lot despite having never personally played a game or watched a show with him in it.

Hagfish have a skull and teeth but have no spine or jaw! They turn the water around them into slime, so they're often considered the "grossest fish". They're regular scavengers at whale falls! They tend to tie themselves into knots to tear apart their food and escape predators!

Japanese Spider Crab is the worlds largest crab! Their legs are 12 feet (3.7 meters) from claw to claw! Despite how scary they look to some, they're actually very gentle! You can see them in a livestream run by Monterey Bay Aquarium here!

Size (Weight/Length)- 20 kg; 3.7 m

Diet- Algae; Aquatic plants; Carrion; Mollusks

Cool Facts- In an extremely interesting case of deep-sea gigantism, the Japanese spider crab has the longest legs of any arthropods. Their legs reach spans of up to 3.7 meters long. They are found at depths of 600 meters below the ocean surface and stick close to thermal vents. Despite preferring warming water, Japanese spider crabs have been seen in temperatures as low as 11 degrees Celsius. Some of these crabs are estimated to be well over one hundred years old. Harvested commercially as a delicacy, Japanese spider crabs are a favorite for seafood lovers. Due to overfishing, Japanese spider crabs are now farmed and rarely caught in the wild.
