soft things Peter/001 does to show that he loves the reader
How Peter Ballard Shows His Love
headcanons
Tumblr media
summary: the little things peter does to show his love for you
pairing: peter ballard x reader
warnings: none :)
note: i could look for gifs of jamie all day he’s literally breathtakingly beautiful please send more 001 requests i could talk about him for hours !!
Tumblr media
I feel like Peter wants to be so affectionate he just isn’t super sure how to go about it.
Your relationship is still a secret, so PDA isn’t really an option. He does, however, sneak into your room late at night during the guards’ shift changes.
He actually really loves to cuddle. At first, he was a little awkward because he didn’t have much experience but he eventually really warmed up to the idea.
He especially loves to hold you !! When he’s feeling a little overwhelmed or anxious, though, he’ll ask you to hold him, which is really nice because it means that he trusts you enough to be vulnerable.
The staff gets very little time outside, however he spends that time finding the prettiest flowers to pick for you. He’ll press them into a notebook and give it to you whenever he can.
He tends to show his love through acts of service. He’ll make sure that you have breakfast, he’ll organize your things for you, he’ll take your shift if you’re tired, etc. He likes to do little inconspicuous things like that for you.
He’ll also take the blame for anything you do wrong, which often subjugates him to hours of electric shock punishments, but he never regrets it. He’d rather take the blame for all your wrongdoings than let you get hurt.
He really likes to hold your hand. He’ll play with your fingers or rings, especially if he’s feeling anxious.
On some occasions, he takes the risk of falling asleep in your bed. He knows that he’ll have difficulty sneaking back to his room before morning, but he adores watching you sleep peacefully. He really enjoys quiet moments like that, it makes him feel more human.
He creates multiple plans to help you escape, even if he can’t come with you. You usually choose to stay, refusing to leave him behind, but the thought is incredibly appreciated.
He has a few books that he likes to reread to you whenever he can. Late at night, he’ll lay in your bed, one hand supporting his head and the other holding a book, while you lay quietly on his chest.
He always remembers your birthday !! Nobody really celebrates things like that in the lab but he’ll always make sure to have a small gift for you or extra time to spend with you on this day.
He lets you play with his hair !! It’s really a win-win because his hair is so soft that you could play with it for hours and he adores having his hair played with. It puts him to sleep so fast !!
Every now and then, when he’s feeling soft or is missing you, he’ll write you a little letter detailing how much you mean to him and he’ll slip it under your door.
He’s very caring !! He’ll always check up on you and make sure you’re doing okay.

warnings; none ! all cute fluff . :)
a/n: aaaaaa!! I'm so happy that I got 2 requests this week!!! it's been awhile since I have ! I love it when people request me sm so I'm really happy to have written this :)
Tumblr media
--×♥︎×--
The silence in the air was thick and filled with adrenaline. You tried desperately to keep your giggles inside, your face muscles swelled from how long and hard you'd been smiling.
You and your boyfriend were playing hide and seek. And as childish as it may have looked and sounded it, the both of you had actually been having a lot of fun together.
It reminded you of when you were 6 and would play with your neighbors in your neighboor hood.
--×♥︎×--
"1..2..3..4.." A small girl spoke, you smiled over at your other friends and grabbed your best friends hand. Running off and hiding together in your mother's garden, the both of you laid next to some flowerbeds and giggled at eachother.
"shhh! were gonna get caught y/n!" Your best friend smiled, her tiny teeth looked so cute in her crescent smile.
"I'm sorry! I can't stop giggling!" you mumbled back, you heard the seeker girl yell in the back of your mother's garden.
"y/n! I'm gonna get you guys!" The other small girl yelled giggling.
--×♥︎×--
"My love, where are you?" Jamie called out to you, you couldn't help but let a small few giggles escape your mouth.
"What's so funny my dear? You know I'm going to find you.." His voice was so soft and full of love, it filled your heart to the brim it almost overflowed with butterflies.
Jamie giggled a little himself even, You were hidden behind the curtain that covered the shower, Jamie was in the kitchen and had decided to look through the cabinets.
"Love, are you in one of these cupboards?" He said, as the cupboards opened and closed, you could hear the smile inside his voice.
"You'll be found soon enough dear I promise !" Jamie laughed as you could hear his footsteps coming from the kitchen towards what sounded like the bathroom.
In reality, he had actually bent down under the dark dusty couch, somehow assuming you'd be able to squeeze your body underneath there. even if it was impossible.
Your body tensed a bit as you heard his footsteps start to become closer, but your ears were incorrect as you soon discovered he was actually in the bedroom.
"baabyy.." His voice lingered and was deep, it tingled around your skin and make you shiver.
"there's only a few more places you could be love, you're bound to be found any minute now." His voice was so comforting to listen to as you felt shots of adrenaline crawling all the way up your spine.
Jamie checked underneath the bed the two of you had shared ever since you both moved in, before going to open the doors to the closet that had also been shared. Your clothing kept on the left side, and his on the right.
"Ohhh babyy.." his voice and the sound of his feet walking were the only 2 things to be heard, before he suddenly whipped his body around, watching you run out of the bathroom he had yet to check.
"Hey!" He called out to you, soon beginning to run right after you, your laugher bounced of the walls and yelled throughout the apartment.
"Get back here!" He yelled, laughing along with you. You'd never felt so happy before you started dating Jamie, he was the sun who'd sweep the musty storm clouds away on your rainy days. and you were his.
You ran through the kitchen and into your bedroom as Jamie caught up to you, both of your ending up crashing into your king sized bed.
Your giggling and laughter was filled with love and happiness, and filled the both of your hearts with joy to hear the other laugh.
You soon felt your boyfriends hand stroking your hair and tucking some of it behind your ear,
Now the both of you were just staring into eachothers eyes, it felt so special, you never wanted it to end.
"I love you." Jamie whispered to you.
"I love you too."
He smiled a cute small smile before pressing his lips to yours, they felt soft, like pillows, or clouds possibly.
And then he kissed your forehead, and your cheeks, and one of your temples, and before you knew it he was smothering your face in lovely kisses that tickled against your skin which made you giggle more than you already had that night.

Perfect to Me
Jamie Campbell Bower x fem!reader
Summary: Reader starts to compare herself to other girls online, and her boyfriend is there to make sure she knows how perfect she is <3
Warnings: reader is insecure about her body, and I think that's it, pls let me know if there's anything I missed!
Notes: This is literally my first time writing fan fiction since I was like, twelve years old, and it’s honestly kind of just a practice round, so it’s not going to be the best writing you’ve ever seen, and I kind of hate it honestly, but I am trying 😅 also please request! I need ideas!
You were mindlessly scrolling through your Instagram feed, waiting for your boyfriend, Jamie, to get home. Most of it was pretty usual, photos of your family and friends, and various pictures from hashtags you followed. You came across a photo Jamie had posted a few hours ago, of you and him laying together at a small private beach. You smiled to yourself, remembering how fun that day had been and liked the post. Going into the comment section to write something, you stumbled across a few hateful comments, mostly about how your body looked in the bathing suit you were wearing. Now, you had gotten used to people saying things like this, seeing as it happened pretty often dating someone famous. You tried to just ignore them, but you’d be lying if you said they didn’t sometimes get to you. This was one of those times. You couldn’t help but think the people saying rude things about you were at least a little bit right. Even you were worried about wearing that bathing suit out, thinking it showed too much of your natural curves. You decided to go on to this girl account, wanting to see who was saying things about you. This girl, whoever she was, was absolutely gorgeous. She had many pictures of herself in revealing clothes, and she didn’t seem to have any flaws in her body. Just as you were about to scroll through her photos a bit more, you heard the front door to your house open.
“Love, I’m home!” You heard Jamie shout from across the hall.
The rest of your night was the same as usual. You and Jamie ate dinner together, watched a movie in your shared bedroom, and then went to bed. Pretty much the same as you did every other night. But the entire night you couldn’t get the hateful comments out from the back of your mind. As you were trying to fall asleep, you couldn’t stop thinking about what this girl online was saying about you, and wondering if she was right. Jamie seemed to notice your discomfort, and sat up to ask you what was wrong.
“Darling? Is everything alright? You're moving around a lot more than usual,” he asked quietly.
“Yup. Everything’s fine,” You replied, clearly not sounding very convincing.
“Are you sure? You’ve been acting strange all night, are you feeling okay?”
You sat up with him and decided to just tell him how you were feeling. You hated hiding anything from him.
“Just rude comments again, talking about how I looked in that picture you posted earlier, same as usual,” you answered, laying your head on his shoulder.
“Y/N, what have I told you about looking at the comments,” he chuckled lightly, stroking your hair. “You know they have no idea what they're talking about, you're perfect,”
“I know, I know. It’s still annoying, though,” You sigh.
“Please don’t listen to them, love. It’s what they want. But I promise, they’re all blind if they can’t see how stunning you are. You're perfect to me, don’t let them get to you.” He moved your head around to kiss you, laying you both back down as you rested your head on his chest. He continued stroking your head until you fell asleep, finally being able to stop thinking about the comment section.

A Chance Meeting
Heyo, this is my first time writing on here. Not sure if this is something I'll keep doing, but this was just an idea that popped in my head and I wanted to flesh it out a bit. Might be a two or three parter? I've set this in Boston, since that's where I'm at lol. Towards the end, it gets pretty rushed, sorry. I welcome any feedback!
Synopsis: By chance, you meet the person you've admired most from afar, Jamie Campbell Bower. By luck, a friendship blossoms. Or perhaps...more? Over the course of a whirlwind week, your wildest dreams start to become reality.
Warnings: None. Yet. Just like, a couple swear words.
Pt. 2 Here.
Pt. 3 Here.
-9am. Monday.-
Another day working at the museum. You had been working for a few years in the offices of the cultural institution. It was a very cool place to work, but you were working hard outside those walls on a different art form: your music; hoping for your big break one day. But that day was not today.
You shuffle your feet to your desk, bleary eyed with fatigue from your weekend playing shows at a couple bars around the city. You plop your backpack down at the floor and drop yourself into your chair to switch on your computer. You let out an audible sigh.
"Monday again, eh?" Allison, your coworker gives a pained smile.
"Indeed. How was your weekend?" You ask, mainly as a courtesy. You hadn't had coffee yet, and were not interested in conversing.
As Allison went over the activities she and her family and friends attended over the weekend. You half listened, as your mind wandered. She tended to go on and on anyway. You yawned as her story reached it's end.
"I'm gonna go grab a coffee, or three..." You stood up to head back out through the door.
Walking the streets of Boston on this sunny autumn day, you breathed in the crisp air as you glanced up at the clouds. Something about a cool breeze in the sun invigorated you, it filled you with the belief that good things were on their way to you. At least, you hoped.
You pushed open the door of the bustling Starbucks on the corner. Seeing how long the line was, you closed your eyes and sighed in annoyance. At least the soundtrack was good, currently playing "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" by the Smiths. You bobbed your head, singing quietly to yourself.
"This is a great tune, isn't it?" A warm, smooth, was it familiar? voice said from behind you in the line.
You turned, slightly embarrassed that anyone heard you. You see that the voice had come from a tall, blonde haired man in circular sunglasses. His facial features were sharp, cheek bones high, his jaw angular, a smile that lit the room. A face you would recognize anywhere, for you had seen it on screen so many times before. You inhaled sharply, an attempt to hold your breath harshly to maintain composure.
"Uh, y-yes. Awesome song." You smiled. You took a beat. "You um...sorry, you're Jamie Campbell Bower..." you said, trying to keep as cool as you could.
He smiled as he looked down and then quickly back up. "Guilty, and you are...?"
"Y/N" you answered, smiling back.
"Lovely to meet you." He offered a hand. You brought yours to meet his in a handshake.
"Sorry, I just...I'm a huge fan and...god, this is embarrassing to be doing in a Starbucks at 9am on a Monday." You snorted. "You know what, nevermind. It's just lovely to meet you as well." You smiled.
"Oh, no darling. No need to be embarrassed!" He grabbed your shoulder. "Believe me, there have been far more colorful interactions."
"I'm sure!" You chuckled as the line took a few steps forward. "So, what brings you to Boston? I have to say I'd never thought I'd just...run into you in my city. In a coffee shop."
"Oh, just some meetings really," he put his hands in his coat pockets "and I'm doing a photo shoot with a local photographer. Her schedule was a bit wonky so I've had to come here to her." His pocketed hands flared his coat outward as he gestured to the general area.
"How long are you here for?" you asked.
"Just a week. Have you got any recommendations for places I should check out while I'm here? I've been in the area once, for tour, but I didn't get to get out much aside from playing the gig."
The line moved a few more steps ahead. Your eyes went up to the left, as your head tilted to the right, scanning your brain for suggestions.
"Well, if you are into history, and there's obviously plenty of that here, you can do like, the Freedom Trail tour. If you wanted to find a nice place to go for a nice walk or run, personally, I recommend Castle Island. It used to be an old military fort centuries ago, and the fort is still there, but you can't go in. But it's a loop that goes out into the harbor and you can see planes coming in. I recommend going at sunset. It's just..." you sighed, "beautiful." you smiled. "It's one of my favorite places to just...be, I love it there."
He smiled back at you, his soft, plump lips parting to give way to gleaming teeth. "That does sound lovely!"
You were next in line to order now. You stepped up to the counter.
"Hi, what can I get started for you?" the barista asked, trying her best to be upbeat during this no doubt hellish morning rush.
"Good morning! Could I please get a venti cold brew with oat milk and vanilla?" You asked, pulling out your wallet. A ring-clad hand pushed it back down.
"It's on me, love." Jamie said, smiling.
"Oh, oh no, you don't have to do..." you stuttered.
"No, I don't, but I'd like to!" He held his smile, dipping his chin down towards his chest and tilting his eyes up at you.
"Well...o-okay. Thank you." you blushed.
He nodded, pulled his sunglasses to the top of his head, and stepped up to also order his coffee. A venti iced coffee, oat milk, and two pumps of caramel. He handed the barista his card to pay and gave his name for the order. When she handed the card back, he thanked her with a smile and told her to have a nice day. He held his arm in front of himself, gesturing you to walk in front of him over to the pick up counter. You smiled and nodded your head once, taking a step away from the counter, back towards the crowd by the pick up area.
"Thank you again," you said. "You really didn't have to!"
"Oh, don't worry about it. Thank YOU for your tourist suggestions." His eyebrows lifted, as his eyes held a look of genuine gratitude.
You nearly blushed. You had obviously seen his face before, in pictures, on camera. But in person, he was just beautiful. His pouty lips, deep ocean blue eyes, smooth skin. What on earth was his skin care routine?! You then had a thought.
"You know, another suggestion," you cleared your throat. "I actually work at the Museum of Fine Arts, around the corner. As a thanks for the coffee, I can get you in for free. I mean, if you have time, anyway."
His face lit up. "Really? Oh that would be so lovely! I haven't got anything going on at the moment, actually. Would I be able to pop over this morning?"
"Oh my god, totally! Yeah, right now would be a great time to go too. We're usually totally dead on Monday mornings, so it'd be like you have the whole place to yourself." You chuckled.
His brow furrowed. "Oh, you wouldn't be able to give me the tour?"
Your heart skipped. "You'd want me to show you around?"
"Well, I mean you are now my official Boston guide after all!" He joked.
"Two venti iceds for Jamie!" a barista called, setting down two drinks. Jamie looked up and went over to grab them.
He handed you yours. "So, I'll let you lead the way."
On the short walk back to the museum, you made small talk as you internally were losing your G-D mind over what was happening. Was this real? Was I still sleeping, waiting for my alarm to wake me up this Monday morning? How was I at such the right place at the right time. Why did he take to me so warmly and quickly? You were just a fan of his, and now you're about to have a museum date with him. Well, not a date... but one can dream.
You both walked up the stairs of the massive building that you knew very well. You walked up to the ticket desk ahead of Jamie.
"Hey Marsha!" You smiled at the ticket desk worker you had befriended over your years there. "This is Jamie, he's my guest for today. Could you print him one of my comps?"
"Oh totally. You got it, girl." Marsha said, clicking away on her computer.
Printing sounds soon followed. She handed you the small rectangle ticket. You thanked her with a salute that she also returned. You and Jamie walked up to the security guard who scanned tickets. You flashed your ID badge and reiterated that this was a guest of yours. The guard scanned the ticket and waved you both in.
"So, where do you recommend we start?" Jamie asked, looking around the rotunda and the pieces of art that lined it.
"We actually have a really cool Bosch exhibit on right now! My favorite is the Garden of Earthly Delights. It's so fucking weird." You laughed.
"I love weird, let's do it." Jamie smiled.
You laughed and beckoned him down one of the halls. You spent the next couple hours showing him around, relaying some historical facts about various paintings and artists you had learned here and there over your time working at the museum. He also shared some facts he knew as well. The whole time, it was like you were with an old friend. The organic chemistry and natural flow of your conversations and interactions. You almost forgot that he was a famous actor and rock star. For a couple hours, he was just...your new friend Jamie. You hadn't had such a good time at work in the longest time.
Standing in front of a Van Gogh, Jamie's pocket beeped and he pulled out his phone. He sighed as he looked at the screen, his eyes then looking up to you, twinged with disappointment.
"I've got to go, I'm afraid."
Your stomach sank. "O-oh. Well, duty calls, I suppose." You smiled sheepishly.
He placed a hand on your shoulder. "I've really enjoyed this, though. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your work day and showing me around. I really, really appreciate it." You could feel the warmth of his genuine gratitude.
"I've really enjoyed this too." You wondered if he could see the disappointment in your eyes too.
"Why don't I actually grab your number," he said. "You know, just in case I have any art questions while I'm here." He winked.
"Oooh, asking for my number." You smirked. He chuckled. "Yeah, for sure though. I got you on any art related emergencies." You winked and took his phone to enter your number and send yourself a text.
You walked him to the exit of the museum and he turned to you. "Thank you, again. This was really fun." He smiled.
"Thank you for the coffee." You smiled back.
He opened his arms for a hug, and you obliged. You were engulfed in his warmth. A tight, comforting hug, your head against his chest. He smelled intoxicating. A delicious cologne, mixed with a slight hint of cigarette smoke and mint.
You released each other and looked in the other's eyes. He nodded and you exchanged goodbyes. You watched him descend the step you had both walked up a couple hours prior. Watching him walked away, you stood in a daze, thinking back on the laughs you had shared. You wished you had told him how much he meant to you, how amazed you were by his talent, how much his music inspired you, how much his general outlook on life encouraged you. But perhaps that would have spoiled the time you shared. It was, after all, much nicer to spend the morning with this person who felt like an old friend, rather than the maybe 5 minutes you would have spent gawking at him in the coffee shop.
He disappeared from your line of vision as you turned to head back to your office. You checked the time on your phone. 11:23am. Shit, you thought. You fast walked back to your office.
"Oh you're alive." Allison said, monotone and not looking up from her computer. "Must have been a very large coffee."
You sat down at your desk. "Yeah. I uh, really, really enjoyed my coffee." You smirked up at her. She wouldn't believe you if you told her. Luckily, she didn't get paid enough to care about you wasting company time.
The rest of the work day, you found it so hard to focus. You checked your phone numerous times, hoping to maybe see "Jamie" pop up. But you knew he was busy doing work things, and in truth, you knew you likely wouldn't hear from him again.
-5:08pm. Monday.-
You waved goodbye to Marsha at the ticket desk as she closed up show, mouthing "thank you" to her, acknowledging the comp ticket she had given you earlier.
You walked outside, toward the train station to start your commute to your apartment. On the train, you glanced out the window as you stood, holding on to the silver poles placed throughout the crowded train. What a day it had been. The best Monday you had ever had.
As you approached the door of your apartment, you felt your pocket buzz. You took in a sharp breath, slowly reaching for the device. You had a text from Jamie. You blinked a few times, making sure your screen-saturated eyes were reading this correctly after hours staring into your work computer. Your eyes did not deceive you. You opened the text.
"Hey Y/N! I hope the rest of your day at work wasn't too bad. I thought I'd let you know that I'm interested in checking out that castle place you mentioned to catch the sunset. I thought maybe you'd like to join me if you're free? I remembered you did say it was one of your favorite spots. What do you think? x"
No way, you thought to yourself. He wanted to hang out again, in the same day? You leaned against the wall outside of your apartment as you went to formulate your response.
"Jamie! That sounds wonderful, actually. I would love to join. :)" You wrote back.
Three little dots popped up instantly. "Awesome. :) What is your address, love? I'll uber over and we can head there together. x"
You sent him the address to your apartment and finalized the timing. Hastily entering your overpriced studio apartment, you threw your bag down on your bed and rushed to freshen yourself up. You were so excited to be with Jamie again. He gave you a comfort you had never experienced with anyone else. Whatever that meant, you wanted to chase it. The idea of anything happening with him was not out of the realm of your imagination, he was gorgeous after all. But even if you ended up becoming true good friends from this chance encounter, that would mean the world to you.
--------------------------------------------
End of part one! Let me know if you're interested in a part two. I don't think this is going to go beyond three parts. Things may get smutty too, as a warning... but uh... yeah lemme know what y'all are feeling! Thanks for reading. :)

I don't want it seem like I'm saying that she doesn't do anything wrong I know she does 100% I know she does.
I just get tired of people acting like she's the only one that's flawed and I'm not saying that you do it I'm just saying there's a lot of people who acts like that that's why a lot of times I feel like I shouldn't say I like JJ because I've been yelled at for liking her and I actually been threatened before for saying that I liked her.
I mean she acts out a lot but she actually does care. There was quite a few times she knew that Penelope was stressing out so she talked with her and was really gentle with her I mean yeah I guess she could be a hard bitch but she does have a little bit of a heart.
I mean without hesitation she killed Jason Clark battle to save her family. That's exactly what she said too she done it save her family
"I didn't even blink you do what it takes to protect family.''
i think the difference—for me at least—is that because of who the characters are, they have reasons for acting out when they do. a distressed penelope is a perfect example of this akdhskdh
someone brought up morgan giving her shit for feeling guilty. a shitty thing ti do, for sure, especially cutting her off when she needed someone to talk to. but morgan does it bc he cares ab her and doesnt understand why she’s so worked up over this. he’s frustrated that she’s dwelling on it, hurting herself, and doesnt want to encourage it by indulging in her spiraling
i’d like to bring up another instance of ~distressed penelope~ after 300 (i think?) when she’s struggling w ptsd. everyone can tell she’s off and try to help, but what pissed me off was jj patronizing her for bottling it up, “you know thats not how it works, right?” even tho she went through the same shit before and had her own issues bottling up her trauma, she treats garcia like she’s an idiot (even tho garcia has wayyy less field experience than the others so obviously this kind of stuff would hit her harder)
they were both wrong and both mean to her in their own ways, but their intentions were drastically different. morgan does it bc he’s worried ab her. jj does it bc she’s annoyed. she just seems so superficial every time she tries to be nice/supportive. its either out of pity (hotch in 100) or it feels fake bc she’s rolling her eyes at every opportunity. i just… dont like those kind of people lol
sure everyone else has flaws, but it feels like their reasons are more legitimate. and if she’s mean most of the time AND she acts out…. yeah thats just not someone i wanna be around lmao at least the others are nice. making fun of garcia’s “quirks” or talking shit ab reid w anyone who will listen… if thats how she treats her friends, then i dont understand why anyone would want to be around her. she’s not the only one who’s flawed, but she’s the only one without any redeeming qualities. treating everyone like shit then saying a loving statement every blue moon just doesnt seem genuine and i wouldnt have the patience for that.
akdhskhd we have had DRASTICALLY different experiences in the cm fandom. this is the first ive heard of someone who likes jj getting hate bc i feel like the majority of people like her. ive seen very very few posts of people criticizing her but i see people who love her all the time (or worse—ship her w one of my favs skdhkshd). its hard to find someone who agrees w my opinion… even ppl who r jj critical still praise her #whitefeminism #girlboss moments when really i cant stand a single second she’s on screen

jamie campbell bower reads Dracula
instagram
found an Instagram video where Jamie Campbell Bower reads a chapter from Bram Stoker's Dracula. his London accent is already Really Fucking Soothing--but then he gives Dracula his own accent* that's somewhere between Italian & Romanian, just...gosh.
I know he's played a vampire in Twilight. but can you IMAGINE him playing a charming, murderous, gorgeous vampire who's strutting around in button-ups with the top open (he's done this IRL) & wearing sunglasses just for kicks & fuck I need this--
I mean, I still wanna see his version of today's Jace (who's suspiciously only a year or so younger than JCB in canon...hmm) with long hair & a bit of mature darkness & scruff & bring back that fucking earring pls--

The appealing orange, burgundy red leaves were descending from off of the old oak trees that were standing tall on either side of the bridge Maurisa would always walk on early in the morning in Downtown New York. The smell of Autumn singed her nostrils, the beautiful Canadian Geese that were drifting in the pond in Central Park had always never failed to catch her eye. Maurisa’s lanky arms rested across the white furnished bridge, she knew it was going to be  a lovely start off to a Wednesday morning.
Slipping her phone out from her back pocket of her black ripped skinny jeans, she quickly checked her emails as Miss Watson was about to head off to work. While walking against the crunched up bright colored leaves crackling under her tennis shoes, it appeared to be as if somebody was following her. The suspense grew thick as Maurisa grew paranoid, the sound of people chattering around her while enjoying their coffee blocked out the problem that was possibly behind her. She had stopped in the middle of the walk path, she dared to look back, but no one was behind her. A good sigh of relief escalated through her, feeling someone in her presence that wasn’t actually there was a bit odd. She continued on her walk to the Cafe named Hallowed Grounds Tearoom  that she called home.
Maurisa finally arrived, she unlocked the doors to the Cafe shop with her keys into the door. Pushing the doors wide open with opened arms, she flickered on the lights now entering the building. Walking casually over behind the counter where all the magic happened, she sat the keys down on the pearl white countertop that was attached to her black, thin string lanyard that was resting in her fist. She waited for a rush of customers to rush in her store because her cafe shop was in popular demand. Everyone loved going to her store, they even gave her excellent five star reviews on Google.
As the day passed by, Maurisa was getting ready to close the doors to her Cafe, thanking everyone for coming. She had met some new faces of the crowd, and new personalities that she thought were pretty unique. Suddenly, a 6’0 in height blonde man with piercing ocean blue eyes walked through the doors. Vintage cologne lingered in the store as he casually walked up to Maurisa with his calloused hands deep in his pockets of his black, leather coat, giving a daring smile to her.
‘’Hi, you do know I’m getting ready to close for the night?’’ She asked, eyebrows raised scrutinizing the man’s body language, how it was laid back and chill. He lended out his left hand to her, which appeared to have a small, detailed skull on his middle finger on that hand alone.
‘’I’m sorry, but it’s closing time for me and I really want to go home,’’ She stated, clutching the gold keys in her hand. The 6’0 British man wasn’t taking no for an answer. Finally, after an awkward silence abrupt, he spoke:
‘’Listen, I know you have no clue on who I am, but I want to introduce myself. My name is Jamie Campbell Bower, I might be the one who can change your life forever for the better.’’
Maurisa tucked a fiery orange strand of her hair behind her ear, she replied:
‘’My name is Maurisa Watson. Nice to meet you, Jamie. Look, I really have to get going, I’m sorry.’’
Jamie gently grabbed Maurisa’s arm, he looked her in the eyes,
‘’Believe me when I tell you this, Maurisa. We are complete strangers to each other, and I have just met you, don’t get me wrong. But it seems to be as if you have had some troubles in your life, I can see it just by looking at you. Since you’re in a rush to go home, I will give you my number.’’
He pulled out a white index business card from out of his richened black coat, handing it to her.
‘’Don’t forget to call or text me. It was nice meeting you, have a goodnight.’’
Just like that, Jamie Campbell Bower disappeared without a trace.
‘’It was nice meeting you too, Jamie Bower.’’
—------------
That very night, she headed home in her Nissan Versa jet black car, the white index business card that Jamie gave her was somewhere laying in the bottom of her Gucci purse. One hand on the steering wheel, and the other hand resting on her lap. She couldn’t stop thinking about the man she met earlier today in the Cafe, how he smelled good and also was so charming to her, he was perhaps probably going to be the one who would change her life forever, guarantee on that. What if he was the one who would take all of her troubles away from her life for good?
Maurisa got out of the car, locking her car and went up to her front porch. Unlocking the door to her home, she entered her house placing the gucci back down on the couch. Sighing, she dug in her purse to find the business card that Jamie gave her, finding luck within a minute to dial the number that was seen on the card, she placed the phone up close to her ear and waited for a response.
‘’Please leave your message for ***-***-***’’
Beep.
‘’Hi Jamie, this is Maurisa, the woman you met at the Cafe.  I just thought I’d give you a call. Please call me back at ***-***-***, hope to hear from you soon, bye.’’
She laid flat down on the brown, leather couch. Flickering the TV on to watch Netflix, she became a little tired scroll after scroll to find a show or movie to watch. Letting out a yawn, she burrowed herself in the blankets sitting on the couch, and drifted off to sleep.
Waking up the next day, Maurisa’s phone had appeared to be on silent mode, buzzing. She groaned, eyes opening slowly to see who was calling. It was Jamie’s number. Swiping up for the answer button, she held the phone to her ear.
‘’Hello, Jamie?’’
‘’Hi, Maurisa, I saw you tried calling me last night. So sorry about that, love. I fell asleep. How are you doing this morning?’’ Jamie’s voice erupted on the other line of the call.
‘’How am I doing? Oh, just fine. Just woke up. Why I was trying to call at around 10pm last night was just because I wanted to ask you why do you think that you can change my life instantly?’’
A soft grumble came out of Jamie,
‘’Well, dear, I think I can change your life because that is what I do for a living, to change people’s lives for the better and not for the worse. You really came to my interest once I saw you, so you meeting me  is going to be something you would always remember.’’
Uh huh.
She scratched the back of her neck, the hairs on her neck were standing up, feeling alarmed that a man like Jamie who may indicate a bit of interest in her was  quite alarming. In Maurisa’s past relationships with guys, the first day that she had met them, they never really expressed their feelings how he did just now to her. Especially over the phone.
‘’I honestly have to say that I am flattered, Jamie. I have to be honest here, I never saw or heard a guy actually tell me something you just told me, especially when meeting me for the first time. Never in my ten years of dating did someone compliment me like you’ve done.’’ Maurisa chuckled, running her hand through her orange hair.
‘’I just didn’t want you to think that I was weird or trying to scare you off, y’know, a guy like me should stop and think before he actually gets too carried away,’’
He continued on,
‘’I want to actually invite you to a party that my friend Joseph is hosting, and wanted to see if you’d be interested in going? I will give you all the details on when and where it’s happening.’’
She stopped and thought briefly about it before answering the British man, Maurisa nodded to herself.
You should go, why not? She thought.
‘’Yeah, I'd love to go to your friend’s party with you. Just let me know when you get the details situated and we can go from there.’’
‘’Brilliant, I will definitely text you when I hear back from my friend Joseph, I will see you then, Maurisa.’’ He hung up.
Maurisa’s glossy lips tugged into a smile, this was going to be the first party she would attend in years. Despite all of the boyfriends she had, she had hope left in her to soon find love again. She hoisted herself up off of the couch, realizing that today and tomorrow she didn’t have to work at Hallowed Grounds Tearoom, also known as her Cafe she worked at 5 days in the week. Stretching her slim body, her phone buzzed, it was a text message from Jamie himself.
The text message read:
‘’Hi Maurisa, so I just heard back from Joseph. Here are the details: 6 p.m. on a Saturday, and it will be at 963 Thatcher Street New York City. Make sure you’re there on time. Looking forward to seeing you x - Jamie’’
Since it was still Friday morning, Miss Watson still had time to get ready for the party tomorrow night. Shoving her phone in one of the pockets of her pajama pants, she got dressed for the day and made herself some fresh Avocado Toast with a tall glass of water. Sitting herself down at the kitchen table, she ate pieces of her Avocado Toast, and lifted the glass of water to her lips before calling her best friend, Allie. Dialing her phone number, she had a plan in mind in telling Allie, her best friend of five years, about Jamie Bower.
‘’Hey Allie, you would never guess who’s party I am going to tomorrow night,’’ Maurisa said with determination in her voice.
‘’Hey best friend! And you? At a party? No freaking way you’re going to a party. You haven’t gone to one in I don’t know how many years!’’ Allie pointed out, shocked because of what she had told her.
‘’Long story short, but I met a guy named Jamie at my work and he seems pretty chill to put it bluntly. He asked me to go to a house party his friend Joseph is hosting, he doesn’t even seem like the creepy type you know what I mean?’’
Maurisa heard Allie’s shuttered laugh from the other line of the phone conversation, maybe full on sarcasm wasn’t the way to go, because you know how men are nowadays.
‘’I hope it goes all well for you, Maurisa. Please be careful tomorrow.’’ She replied.
Please be careful tomorrow, the words that unwinded in the back of Maurisa Watson’s mind like strings unattached.
She mouthed the words out to her best friend: ‘’Okay, I will.’’ and hung up.

--×♥︎×--
It was mid spring, the weather was getting warmer by each day, it was currently 78 degrees outside and you were supposed to go out with your boyfriend tonight.
He was out at the moment, and wouldn't be home until night fall.
You got up for about the 5th time that hazy noon and walked in front of the mirror, observing yourself.
You groaned groggily looking at your thighs.
God they seemed so hideous in your eyes and you couldn't stand it, all of the women on your media feeds had beautiful bodies that only made you feel envious and more insecure.
'How am I supposed to go out tonight when I look like this?' your mind seemed to like to torture you today and it was completely draining you to your core.
You placed your head in your hands and decided to crawl inside of your bed until it was time for you to get ready.
--×♥︎×--
You'd been switching between binge watching TV and scrolling through your phone when you heard the keys rattle inside of the knob to your front door and footsteps start to come closer to your bedroom you shared with your boyfriend, Jamie.
"Darling I'm ho- What are all the lights off for in here love?" He went from happy to concerned within seconds.
"Forgot to turn them on, sorry" You had been able to frame your voice to seem like you were okay when you weren't, Jamie always knew you were faking even if you were doing a pretty amazing job at acting like you were.
"I'll be here if and when you want to talk about it okay? I'm going to be getting ready now love" He smiled empathetically at you, his brows cruved in a worried expression.
You weren't always one to speak up at first but after awhile you'd be able to have it inside of you to be able to speak up and let him know what was bothering you.
After Jamie had left into the bathroom to get into nicer, fresh clothes you sighed and walked over the closet between the two of you and picked up your dress, quickly getting the fabric on your skin before waltzing over to that forsaken mirror again.
You started to examine yourself, Jamie had picked out your dress, it was black and the hem had lace on it as well as the v neck collar and tank top like sleeves, and the crimson red roses scattered about make it beautiful to look at.
But the way it had looked on you, how your thighs were so noticeable, atleast thats what you had told yourself. Your lips started to quiver and your eyes became soggy.
"oh lovely please don't feel bad about yourself." Jamie's voice suddenly broke the silence between you and your self hatred as you turned to look at him.
"You're absolutely gorgeous Y/n, you should never cry over your body." He stroked your hair and kissed your forehead, gently wiping a tear that started grazing mid-way down your cheek, that you hadn't even realized.
"I, I'm so-"
"Don't, apologize dear, please."
He grabbed your hand gently and had you sit down on the bed that had been to the left of the both of you, and then leaned down onto his knees.
"Jamie babe I'm not in the mo-"
"That's not where this is going babe, just trust me okay?" His voice was small and comforting, almost like it was wrapping you in a warm hug before you nodded slowly.
Then, he started pressing gentle soft kisses against your chilled skin that you'd currently felt deep hatred for, but within seconds Jamie was soothing you into feeling better and started to feel like your happy self once again before you both stood and headed your way out to dinner.

A Chance Meeting pt. 2
Hello hello! Thank you so much for the love on part one. <3 If you want to go back to it, it's here. Part three is here. Enjoy part two! It's a long one. Though, I think the first part was long too. The next, and I think final part, will be a doozy as well...
Synopsis: By chance, you meet the person you've admired most from afar, Jamie Campbell Bower. By luck, a friendship blossoms. Or perhaps...more? Over the course of a whirlwind week, your wildest dreams start to become reality.
Warnings: Swears.
-6:30pm. Monday.-
"Oh, here is fine!" you call to the Uber driver.
The car comes to a stop, you and Jamie open your respective doors and step out, thanking the driver for his ride. You look to Jamie as he comes around the back of the car to join you at your side. The breeze blew his hair backward, revealing his stunning features once again. You couldn't help but stare as he looked out toward the water of the harbor, and the loop of a walkway that jetted out into it.
"I see why you like this place." He said, not moving his glance from the scenery.
You smiled and grabbed his jacket sleeve, as he turned his head to look at you. "Let's explore."
The two of you begun your stroll, walking first toward the large beige fort that sat atop a short hill, surrounded by black metal fencing. There was a small loop, around this fort, that then lead into a wide loop that stretched out into the harbor. A small resting point sat out in the far end of the loop in the water. You walked side by side, chatting and laughing, once again as if you were old friends.
You rounded the fort and begun your walk on the main loop, walking out towards the ocean, as the sunset finally began painting the sky in hues of orange, red, and pink. People whizzed by you on bikes, roller skates, on foot as they ran, quite a few people walking their dogs, or strolling with their young children. And yet, it felt like it was only you and Jamie.
"I usually like to stop and sit here for a bit, and just...you know, take it all in. If that's alright?" You say, halting your movement at the edge of the stone resting area out in the sea.
"Oh, absolutely. The sunset looks marvelous right now." Jamie smiled.
You nodded and climbed atop the wall, swinging your legs over the edge, dangling above the water below. Jamie followed your action, settling on to the edge next to you. You both sat in silence for a few moments, gazing up to the sky, watching the light changing among the clouds. You took in a deep breath as you closed your eyes, exhaling with a slight smile. You looked over to Jamie and noticed him staring.
"What, is my hair all crazy right now?" You snorted, reaching for your hair, referring to the salty winds coming off the ocean.
"Well, yes," he chuckled, as he reached up to move a piece of your hair that was sideways across your forehead. "But it's just nice to see someone so at peace, in their element."
You bit your lip as you smiled and looked down, feeling your cheeks blush. Your heart had pounded in your chest when he moved your hair from your face. Something so small, yet felt so intimate. You took in a breath.
"You know," you began. "I just want say that today has honestly meant the world to me." Jamie cocked an eyebrow and tilted his head in question. "Just...you know, your music has helped me through some really tough times. I even cover one of your songs in my set when I play. And your general positivity and wisdom that you've gained through things you've been through has been really inspiring in my life. I just never thought I'd get to meet you, let alone spend a day with you. I...I don't know where I'm going with this." you chuckled. "I just want to thank you, I guess. For everything, for being you."
Jamie's face melted into a smile with eyes tilted downward, almost as if he were about to cry. "Aw, man. Y/N...that is so kind to say. Thank you for being you, you brave girl. Come here." He pulled you into a tight hug, caressing your back and pressing his cheek against yours.
He released you, keeping a hand on your arm. "Tell me more about your music! I've got to hear you play!" His eyes gleamed.
"Well, I uh...I've got a show on Friday. I'm playing with my band Sucker Punch at a bar called O'Brien's."
"Oh, I'm there." He smiled. "Front row. I'll be your groupie." He winked.
You chuckled and looked back out across the water. Your hands rested next to each other's, flat against the cold stone, as you watched the last bit of sunset fade from the sky, into dusk. Your pinky fingers were within a centimeter, and it you found yourself longing for them to find their way to each other in touch.
After some time, you acknowledged the darkness, and got down from the wall to finish out your walk. The rest of your stroll was just as enjoyable as the first half. As you reached the point where you had begun the journey, Jamie pulled out his phone to call another Uber to bring you home. You wished you could both stay here forever.
Pulling up to your apartment building, you and Jamie exchanged another firm hug as you said your good nights. This time, he placed a quick peck on your cheek, causing you to blush. You thanked him for the evening, and he thanked you in return. You stood at the doorway, watching the car drive away before you turned to head up to your apartment.
You settle into your bed, staring up at the ceiling, catching yourself longing for him to be lying beside you...
-8:04pm. Friday.-
You stared back at yourself in the mirror hanging in the bathroom of O'Brien's Pub, checking your stage makeup. Jamie had texted that he was on his way. He had texted you every day since Monday. You had even met for dinner yesterday since he was back near the museum at the end of your work day. This was week had felt like a fever dream. You were devastated that it was coming to an end tonight, as he was leaving tomorrow afternoon. And it weighed on you.
You were more nervous than usual to perform tonight. You knew you would be performing Jamie's "Letters to the Lost" in your set, while he was in attendance. You also just wanted him to like your original music. It's always easier to perform for friends and strangers than one of your heroes.
Knock knock.
"Y/N, you almost ready?" Tyler, your drummer yelled through the door.
You turned and flipped the lock to open the door. "Ready." You smiled.
The both of you walked down the hallway out into the main area of the bar. You paused to scan the crowd for your tall, blonde guest. Suddenly, he walked through the front door, also scanning the faces. You stuck your arm up in the air to wave. He saw you and gave a wide smile as he politely pushed through the bar-goers toward you. His arms swung around you in a hug.
"Y/N! Look at this crowd! Are you excited?" His head went from left to right, taking in his surroundings.
"Hell yes! A little nervous, but feeling amped." You nodded.
"You're gonna kill it, absolutely smash it." He placed a hand on your shoulder.
"Hey look, I've got to go set up. But find yourself a good spot and I'll see you from the stage." You winked.
He saluted you and nodded as you turned to head up to the stage. You hopped up on the elevated floor they had as a stage, plugged your guitar in, sound checked your mic, and huddled with your band to say a chant, as you did before each performance. The lights dimmed and your lead guitarist nodded to the sound guy, who gave a thumbs up. You looked over to your right and saw Jamie standing with a glass of water, looking directly at you. You turned back to the front and stepped up to your mic, and hit a chord as your band followed suit.
"Hey, we're Sucker Punch, thanks for coming out tonight. Let's fucking tear this shit up." The hum of the chord faded as your drummer hit his sticks up to tempo and you exploded into your first song.
Jamie's head immediately started bobbing as the crowd started bouncing around him. He smiled as you sang out your first lyrics. Your voice powerful and controlled, a handful of people sang along with you, knowing the words. As your set went on, Jamie seemed to be enjoying himself, which made you feel so much better. As your set list reached it's end you stepped back up to the mic.
"Okay...so, we've got one more for you guys." There were audible sounds of disappointment from the crowd. "Oh shit," you laughed. "Thank you guys. But I'm sorry, we've only got so many songs!"
You looked over to Jamie, still smiling. You cleared your throat.
"So this last song isn't by us. It's from uh...a good friend of mine. And for this one, I'm gonna get the boys a break." Your band set their gear down and hopped down off the stage. "You can find them back there by our merch table. Be sure to come by and say hello. But uh, this one is called Letters to the Lost. Thank you for being here tonight."
You looked back to Jamie, his face filled with surprise. Closing your eyes and taking a breath, you began the chords. You started singing, emotion filling your every utterance. You hammered on to your guitar as you cried out the chorus, you felt tears welling up as you continued, with every word waying heavy on you. Looking over at Jamie during a part without you singing, you could have sworn you saw his own eyes looking glassy. By the end of the song, tears had spilled over to your cheeks. The crowd clapped and cheered as you wiped your face with your sleeve.
"Thank you for tonight. Be good to each other. Get home safe everyone." You said as you bowed and set your guitar down.
You jumped off the stage, and before even turning to go to Jamie, you were engulfed by a warm body. It was a familiar scent.
"You were fucking incredible, darling!" Jamie yelled, rocking you side to side in excitement before letting you go. "And oh my god, Letters to the Lost...Y/N, just amazing. Fuck. Thank you so much for that. You had me welling up, love." He smiled.
"I'm just so glad you liked the show! I'm so happy you came, Jamie. Really, thank you." You looked up at him.
"I'm glad I came too." He held your gaze for a moment, you felt a surge of electricity in your body.
He stood by your merch table as you and your band spoke with people and sold shirts and CDs, watching you interact with friends and new fans. He seemed to be beaming. You couldn't decipher what it was, but there was a certain look in his eyes. A look you wanted to never leave, whatever it was.
As the live music crowd dwindled, leaving only the bar rats, you and the band packed up your merch and instruments, with Jamie helping and being friendly with your musical compatriots. As you put the last of your stuff into your drummer's car, the bar owner walked up to you and handed you your cut of the night's profits. You thanked him and gave each band member their share and waved them off as they headed off, leaving just you and Jamie in alley behind the bar.
"So," Jamie started. "Now what?"
"I don't know." You shrugged your shoulders upward. "Any ideas?"
"Well, if you're up for it, maybe you can join me at the hotel for a drink? I mean, none for me, obviously. But since I'm leaving tomorrow I figured we could try and drag tonight out a bit?" He tilted his head.
"Hmm, trying to get me drunk, are you?" You smirked.
He rolled his eyes. "You caught me!" He chuckled. "No, I just thought maybe a glass of wine and some conversation at the hotel bar as a night cap?"
You smiled. "You know, that does sound great right now. I'd love to."
"It's a date, then."
A surge of electricity ran through your body again. A date? You thought. You could feel your heartbeat speed up as he put an arm around you and turned to begin walking.
--------------------------------------------------------
End of part two! Thank you for reading! Now, the next and final part, there will likely be sexual situations...so if you're into that, stick around... ;) If not, though, you've been warned. And thanks for reading up to now!
