A Compilation of all of "Treasure" Clone Moves

So I decided to compile all the moves I could find in treasure that are majorly different than the main dancer (footage by ScottS)

First House, Left & Right Clone: Snaps his fingers with hip movements

First & Second Chrous, UNCOUNTABLE AMOUNT OF CLONES: Doing repeated many dances. of Note are the ones that looks to the camera, the ones which points to center, and ones who jumps to skies and FRICKING DABS afterwards, seen in around (Those can best be seen on right on the "Make my wish come true" part on the second chorus)

Second House, Many Clones: Doing whatever with capes.

Second House, Front Left Clone: Whatever TF that is.

Second House, Front Right: Okay see, that's better.

Okay here goes the most Important section to this, and the reason I made this thing, because there is so much poses cramped into this: THE BRIDGE.

Bridge, Shot A: Back Clones striking two different clones, While Front Left point at his phone and Front Right holds his shirt

Bridge, Shot B: Back left isn't notable, but Back right points at the camera in amazement, crouches and waves. Front left waves & spins his head towards the camera, also raises a eyebrow. Front right looks at his camera, Eyes the other camera, and points into it, tongue out.

Bridge, Shot C: Back Left does some shoulder work and stirkes a elegent voice. Back Right presents center Jack and does some shoulder work. Front Left points to three others in sync to the "You,You,You" and then looks at the camera at the "Your are". In contrat, Front Right points at center Jack at "You are my treasure", points at the camera three times to the "You,You,You", and then moves elegantly his hands down across his face.

Bridge, Shot D: Back Left Does a similar but not exact presentation to the one in Shot C. Also seems to go sweep his sleeves in the final moment. Back Right just vibes with his hands. Front Left nods at the camera and then procceds to look at hand, for some reason. Back Left just nods at the camera.

Bridge, Shot E: Back Left just aims at the camera and moves his hand across his face. Back Right Continues his pose from Shot B but also now Waves AND Points at himself. Front Left just vibes and Front Right points his hand and then hold his shirt.

Bridge, Shot F: Back Left Crosses his hands and procced to make a marvelous hand waving, back lookin pose. Back right presents to the camera, does some shoulder work and then proceeds to grab and push down his shirt. Front Left just checks his chin and hair while looking at the camera, and Front Right also just vibes with the camera

Third Chorus, First Shot: Background Jack is FRICKING HOLDING A ROSE IN HIS MOUTH, and the panel Jack is just waving his hands

Third Chrous, Second Shot: Background Jack is now aiming the rose at us, and Panels is vibing, while holding his microphone in a VERY weird way.

Third Chrous, Third Shot: Background Jack is now Sending a kick to the audience, and Panel jack is now vibing

Third Chrouse, Fourth Shot: Background Jack contiunes his kiss sending while winking and Panel Jack just sings at the camera.

Third Chrous, Final Shot: Background Jack does some movement that are obscured by the Front Jacks and then Proceeded to point his rose holding hand in the Same time and direction the Front Jack do the same. Panel Jack does stuff that is even more Obscured.

Outro: like to balance doing nothing major in this chorus, Panel Jack gets a big section in the outro. Getting from whatever he did in the previous shot, looks at the camera from a sideways angle, proceeds to put his cane on his shoulders, move around, puff his chest, starting to spin it around, stop then bop it front and back to the "bap-bap" of the outro, and spin sideways again.

This list is probably incomplete and uses subpar screenshots, but it's just to show how much detail spcicfilly the clones got in "Treasure", which kind of fits the "Ego" message of this routine.

A lookbook for my Wanderlust (+Disco as a cat) sim that holds all of his outfits and CC in one neat little pile.

I honestly struggled with this sim sm. Not it just took so long to actually to sort of get him to look like Wanderlust and I feel like I'm not fully there lol. I wish his hair was longer, but atlas this was the longest I could find in the texture I was looking for. I also did not know how I wanted to style him, so I tried my best. I hope you guys like him! Also I had to add Disco in some capacity so I just made her a grey cat with pink whiskers because the paint tool intimidates me.

Well, they say the Devil works quick but I think the Just Dance fandom works faster. I was not expecting such a quick response in that last post I made and for that, I guess I can share the idea that I really want to make into an animatic (due to the fact I’m really busy for graduation and getting my resume/job-hunting in order, please don’t expect the animatics right away, I know my track record 😆)

Grenade by Bruno Mars — No one should be surprised by this addition. This takes place not long after Tainted Love, where Jack Rose was too late to catch the Swan Boat. As he laments his loss of a chance, loosing his friends, and the despair that his mother might’ve won, Night Swan’s magic comes around once again to try and corrupt him. However, Jack’s determination is able to keep the influence off enough — he’s DONE playing his mother’s game. Near the end of the song, Jack was able to defeat the Corrupt Influence… By imitating his mother’s own dance style and absorbing it into his own Flow. Startled by the sudden events but now more determined than ever, Jack sets off to rescue his friends… In spite of how much pain he seems to be in after absorbing the his mother’s magic.

Thnks fr th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy — Jack manages to get on board the Swan Boat, where he faces off against the Corrupted Coaches, one by one. Each dance battle he uses his own ballet style to absorb the corruption from them, only to be in more pain with every absorption. A dark aura begins to surround him and yet, he still continues to fight. The fight goes from Mihaly, Brezziana, Wanderlust, to finally Sara. Sara is the toughest final boss, since Night Swan is also participating in this fight as well. But Jack manages to rescue Sara… And the dark aura gets worse. The coaches could only stare on in horror as Jack gives them one last smile, before Obsidian Crow takes over. With one last act from Jack, Obsidian Crow throws himself into a portal to his own prison, leaving behind the devastated coaches and a confused and powerless Night Swan.

Falling Inside the Black by Skillet — Obsidian Crow and Jack are locked in a battle with one another in their shared prison. Within the first verse, the two are switching back and forth, Jack is in pain while Obsidian Crow is enjoying his new existence. Along the second verse, the Coaches manage to enter the prison and Sara (it’s time for some found-siblings, folks) faces off against Obsidian Crow. Again, it’s flickering back-and-forth between the two. Sara tries to pull on Jack’s arm to separate the two but the first attempt fails. She tries again near the end of the song and this time, she succeeds. Now the coaches are left to deal with the Phantom Obsidian Crow.

And that’s the gist of what I have planned for this idea! There are some other things I wanted to include; like the coaches’ plan on how to save Jack or doing a segment on Night Swan in aftermath of Thnks Fr Th Mmrs but this is pretty much the barebones of what I want this idea to be. Maybe I’ll do a drawing of Obsidian Crow sometime in the future so until then, peace!

Okay, that one's hard to explain because currently it's more a collection of cool concepts, ideas, and some scenes with a loose thread of semi-coherent plot connecting it all. Story starts with Branch pulling Poppy aside so they can talk later, as he has something important to tell her. But Queenly duties leave her running a little late to their little meetup, and when she gets there, Branch is gone. But when she and a few others do manage to track him down...

He doesn't recognize her. He's gray, but it's different from before—lighter, paler, low contrast, almost as though he's been washed out. He doesn't recognize any of them. He's armed, too, and all he sees before him are threats.

JD Dancer Appreciation Vol. 2: Mickael Lips Ferreira 🌹

He’s Jack Rose! Do I need to say anything else? It’s wild to me that Mickael has only been with JD since 2023 edition. A lot of the story mode coaches are portrayed by dancers with a long history with JD, so I’m really glad they let someone new to the franchise portray Jack, because he absolutely killed it. His facial expressions are truly incredible and the reason he’s one of my favorite dancers in the franchise despite not having been part of it for very long. He’s pretty much the king of facial expressions and lip syncing. I hope to see much more of Jack and Gray in the future, and to see some new coaches portrayed by him!

Darkest Hour Map/Song Analysis and speculation

Let me preface that while I would have loved Sweet Dreams in the game, I absolutely respect the hell out of the monumental task this song would have been to create. To write a song for a preexisting dance has never been done before, so to make it sync with the scene transitions and the routine, capture the right energy, tell the story effectively, be the right time length exactly and to sound different enough from the original song, that sounds like an impossible task for anyone to complete, so full credit where credit is due.

What I will say is, what we do get in Darkest Hour that we didn't get in Sweet Dreams is a lot more specificity to the lyrics, which might enlighten us to what really happened to Leda. I want to pick certain moments and go into what the implications for what they might mean.

Spoilers Ahead

And keep in mind this will be a Long Post.

"I would play the game, Every hour through the night"

Now we know Leda is from our world. We know, like Sara, Just Dance is a game that became real to her. However, unlike Sara, she chose to stay there at the end of MOTD, so suddenly, she's in the game every hour through the night. It couldn't have been good for her in the long run. I think this twisted up her perception and clarity, making her more vulnerable to whatever happened to her.

What's interesting is that before the faces in the background take on Leda's visage, they are constructed using machinery and polygonal, much like how video games are a mix of machinery and coding, which shift to resemble her more.

"In the dark flow shadows, the mirror lies to me"

The mirror lying to her might allude to the large holographic versions of her own face, harmonising with her or this giant visage of herself as the perfect ballerina. These being potentially the siren whispers she mentioned, luring her to ruin. However, it could also refer to her illusory powers, most likely granted to her from the dark flow. Using this power to first, trick Wanderlust at the end of Canned Heat and then to trick Sara in YSMIAC.

But if we want to look at specific instances of mirrors lying, then look no further than Jack's maps. First in LOOH, we see these mirrors showing Night Swan, instead of himself reflected back in the verses. Then, in Treasure, we see these versions of Jack as the perfect performer (much like Leda saw of herself) coming out of the mirrors. It should be worth mentioning that Treasure itself takes place in a reflection cast into a pool of water.

"I Traded in my Dreams"

Now, this is interesting. This means being Night Swan wasn't Leda's Dream at all. We've been led to believe that she wanted to be Night Swan, that's what she wants to be. But everything in this map suggests she is not in control and was corrupted much like the coaches under her control.

In the section where the smoke see Leda clutching her head, much like Sara does in YSMIAC while she is fighting off the thrall of the Dark Flow. Much like Night Sara was able to corrupt the other Just Dancers with her own newfound dark flow in Swan Lake, while being corrupted herself.

Maybe Leda was corrupted and used that to corruption on her minions in herself. Almost as if this Dark Flow is spreading, adapting, and evolving throughout the Danceverses, and Leda was just patient 0.

As we see in the first verse for Treasure it looks like the mirror room is in some kind of guilded cage, and the pool which the Ilusion is cast into turns gold. As we zoom out of her eye at the end of the map, it turns gold. Is Leda in a guilded cage of her own, inside her own mind?

So, who corrupted Leda?

Someone acting on The Traveller's Interests/Public Image

I don't think The Traveller would have actively harmed Leda. Also, if you want to keep a past relationship a secret, turning her into an evil magic warlord is certainly not the most discreet cover up.

We know that from when Night Swan took over the JD Twitter account in the run up to JD24, Wanderlust is referred to the 'the son of gods'. Note the plural 'Gods', not just one. So The Traveller is a God confirmed. And if there's one thing I 've gathered about the structure of Deities within the Danceverses is they have a lot of stupid rules that don't help anyone.

I could go into a deep tangent on how the political system for the Deitys seems like a hot mess. And one day, I will (believe me, I will).

So The Traveller becomes a God, and someone else essentially decides to clean up his image, including getting rid of a mortal he brought through, who won't leave. Again, I think creating an evil witch trying to take over the Danceverses isn't the best way to sweep someone under the rug, I think, maybe, someone led her to the scariest, most abandoned part of Cygnus to scare her away and try to make her go home. What happened next was not what the Gods intended.

So, which Deity would be high ranking enough enact a cleanup act of another Deity's reputation and has an association, with mirrors and reflections? Belacus, P2 from Woman.

Her headdress has a large disc that looks a lot like a mirror, much like P3 Derkes, is a fire goddess, Belacus has a lot of motifs associated with water, the fishscale teardrop in the middle of her torso, the wave-like tattoos on her chest and water can be attributed Night Swan (The pool of water in Treasure, Swan Lake, Night Swan taking to the boat at the end of DWTS). And working directly under Selios, perhaps the most powerful Deity we know of to date, she would definitely want the rest of the pantheon to her personal standards. Also, Belacus wears a lot of blue, which is also the Traveller's signature colour.

Another Villain from Eternyx

Leda says in Darkest Hour that she was haunted by the dream. Which villain do we know ca haunt dreams and is associated with Eternyx? Cthylla! We see her haunting Scotty's dream in Cradles, and also her Avatar quote, "When you sleep, I'll be there in your dreams"

The map for Darkest Hour is also filled with this pink smoke, which looks to be the same shade of pink that Cthylla is. Again, tying it to the water motif, We see her emerging from the water in the teaser for BS&V (and the real Lovecraftian mythos Cthylla, who the game version is based on, was a water dwelling deity). Also, when do most people dream? At Night.

What do we see in the sky in both Treasure and Cradles has pink clouds in the distance, while in the last chorus of Treasure, there is a large image of perfect Jack in the centre, not on the screens, but transparent like the image of Ballerina Leda when she's on the rooftops.

Also, the second verse and bridge of Treasure seems to take place in some kind of industrial part of Eternyx. Maybe the abandoned factory?

TL:DR: Leda was tricked by Belacus, working on Selios' behalf, into entering the 'abandoned' factory in Darkest Hour with the intent of scaring her into going back to Earth. However, while there, she was corrupted by Cthylla, her warped perception of reality, making her easy to control. Now possessed by the Dark Flow, she can corrupt others by proxy.

Sorry this was so long, and if it doesn't make any sense,but I thought it was interesting, That this map left so many unanswered questions, about what really went down.
