Just got out of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and...it was certainly a movie.

It had potential, but I don't think anything really had time to breathe and make itself memorable the way the original was allowed to. They had a thousand ideas and rather than focus on a few and really hone in on tone and character, they just threw everything at the wall and hoped something stuck.

Except for the detective's assistant and the fucking crystal shark fin gravestone, those were top tier, no notes.

Jenna can only study when she's body doubling Elena, and she feels really bad about it all of the time, but it's something she has to keep to herself.

It really bothers her that she needs the support, and that the 'studying at the dining room table' rule was enforced by her to help herself get things done as well as Elena. Body doubling with Jeremy never works because she's too distracted by his fidgeting and moaning.
