Or, perhaps if this is all her coma dream, maybe Weems was the voice her own soul called out to for help...🥹
I imagine all the spirits of Wednesday's family in a huge room debating why they don't want to go help her and Larissa fed up with the situation gets up and says that she will take care of it since everyone else is a coward

And because this aged like fine wine, reblogging for the interview.
"There's nothing quite like the feeling of being proven right."
— Wednesday (when she was wrong, but she's still correct about the feeling)
Singer Isabel LaRosa on her TikTok is being so annoying about her new song saying “we need a wenclair kiss scene to this” and basically false advertising the song, acting like it’s gonna be in the show when it’s not and wenclair is not happening.
As if we needed more crazy and delusional shippers out there, now there’s a damn celebrity shipping them 🤦🏼♀️
I'm just glad that Millar & Gough were pretty clear that they aren't going to be misdirected by fans.
I know the Wenclairs missed that part of what they said. But Millar said it back in December 2022:
I mean the man said "friendship" three times in two sentences. I don't know how much clearer they can get. (Their roadmap for the show is their bible that they pitched to MGM, see below.)
But it's pretty clear that the fandom wants to ignore the writers and who they are/where they're writing from (cishet Gen X parents of teenagers writing a teen show for the general public). Nowhere has this interview ever been referenced, when it gives everyone a clear image of who is writing the show, and what's really in store for Season 2 (this was June 2023, obviously scripts were written before the strike):
youtube
The Wenclairs should just skip to the Tone section, where Gough talks about how carefully crafted Netflix Canon Wednesday is.
And yes, they should all feel like idiots to think that the show would even give focus to the intimate relationship that is perceived by Wenclairs over the writers' (and actors') perceived friendship/sisterhood. They're aware of Wenclairs. It's just not in their roadmap, but they have to be careful with what they say since the parasocial nature of stanning and vicious attacks against creators has gotten out of hand. It can't form organically if that's not the story they want to tell.

They're here and Liking the Wenjax posts 🥹 They're on Tiktok as well.
Still working on his and Wednesday's Episode 8.1 interaction, contemplating on how far it should be taken now.
#Wenjax needs to be more canon 😭
Wish there were more Wenjaxers out there. The boy only gets awestruck at Wednesday three times in canon (when they first meet; during the Poe Cup when she was running up to capture the Black Cat flag; at the Rave'N, where he was given the "Yo, check it out...Wednesday's totally bustin' out of her cocoon.").
Imagine the real shenanigans if THAT was the triangle.

I can't believe I have to reblog this so soon, but sumya aren't listening to me.
No Twitter Bitch stuff. No fucking Percy stuff.
I'm done with your obsessions, leave me to mine.
Okay, look.
Poor @bowdensnow is getting harassed by fuckass Anons who just want to poke at me.
But, I'm also getting heavy traffic all of a sudden. New friends who actually are reading Afterburn or are seriously interested in Wagnes, Thingclair, etc.
So I will turn Anons back on.
I still have 600+ unanswereds that I have to just toss or weed through.
I am warning you now: I'm not dealing with Twitter Bitch shit unless it has to do with me. Yup, gonna be wholly narcissistic and put the axe down on ALL PERCY SHIT. I know there are certain someones on here who wants me to look at Percy shit all fucking day, but I'm not going to do it. You keep pushing him on me and I'll react the same way I do to the Wenclair fuckers. You will make me hate him (again), hate seeing shit about him, so stop. (I know you're not going to, but really I'm just stating this right fucking now.)
I am in the middle of several — SEVERAL — creative projects involving Ortega. I'm not going to keep wasting that time masturbating you about Percy fucking White. He is YOUR obsession, not mine: Mine are Wenovan, Thingclair, Wagnes, etc. WEEMS coming back. And sometimes the Gremlin. And her 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 baby sis.
I will also take the most interesting Anons, like the glorious idiot who asked for Wednesday diarrhea. That reminds me, I need to publish the W.O.E. on AO3 and probably tack that one on as a bonus.
I'm a creative, and have wasted too goddamn much time on YOUR fandom wankery.

Burned and Afterburn
Yanno, she didn't have to have his photo out there like that.
Just like she doesn't have to keep his eyeball in a jar. Maybe she's just waiting to get her powers back and read his eye.
Imagine when she gets her powers back, she could read a whole lot from that box of goodies Agnes grabbed for her...which was so goddamn #unintentionally Wenovan Thoughtful. Who the Hell grabs a bunch of pictures like that? Perhaps she wanted Wednesday to be able to read them or something.
But I'm going to be forever mad that they stole Donovan's serial killer cabin in the woods. I will cry more about it. I will cope. But I will be mad about that forever.

Wednesday s2 is basically just Harry Potter for lame bitches who enjoy spin offs and carbon copies of the originals
It was that way in Season 1 too. Just search for Harry Potter.
Only now it's worse, because the characters have become worse caricatures. The drill sergeant, the fucking psychiatrist's assistant Matarazzo (sp.) played. Even Chet at the beginning was a caricature, rather than a scary bastard. They're all worse caricatures than Arlene, Connie, and Kinbott from S1. It's like they Disney'ed it up, and I guess since Ortega is producing, she must be bringing her Disney charm into the mess.
Season 1 Wednesday was Alfonso Cuarón's Harry Potter. Season 2 Wednesday is Christopher Columbus Potter, bright and full of unnecessary hirings (nepo for Potter/stunt for W2) and dependence on established tropes. It's cringe, but since people were thirsting 3 years for it, they're eating it up.
At least they brought Gwen back, but come on, we all know that Wednesday must still be in a coma for a big part of it/if not all. This is not reality:

It's Ebenezer Scrooge getting tortured by one of his ghosts.
And it's been done before in YA TV, 25 years ago:
youtube
I loved Nicole Julian. She was fucking evil, kinda like a worse version of ABW, but blonde and shallow. She had some character growth in Season 2 but by the end of it Murphy fucked it up and made her a potential murderer. I think he did that because he was pissed that his work wasn't appreciated because they cancelled the show after shifting it to Friday nights, which was known to be a dead zone for any teen shows. Season 2 was heavier than the first but it tackled even more LGBTQ+ issues and was ahead of its time, including addictions (drug, ED/male ED).
Ah, and R.I.P. Diane Delano, a.k.a. Miss Bobbie Glass/2 other Glass family members. She was butch coded, and there was an episode (titled, "Fag") where she was protecting Lily Esposito (the class SJW) and got bashed in the process. Popular, in 1999 thru 2001, was extremely progressive for its time, and I was drawn to it when it aired the 🏳️⚧️ shop teacher episode.
But I digressssss...mainly because I'm high again 🫠

🤔 Rewatching 2.3 and I feel like this isn't the dark we were promised.
Whenever anyone inserts those kind of animated explanation maps into a show like this, I'm thinking Disney. This feels like Disney, and the normie dude is a caricature of a drill sergeant.
And we can't forget The Chosen One and the Reluctant Competition in the Wilderness
ETA: Draft from a couple of days ago.
#the music that plays over the heli-pan of the campgrounds is also very similar/potter-esque#none of this is striking me as the darker horror that was promised#🤷🏽♂️#it's actually become MORE#harry potter#esp w the fucking bunks (WTF is that...xavier and rowan didn't live like that)#wednesday#wednesday addams#wednesday netflix#netflix wednesday

Here we go with the apophenia again, because none of this YA 🗑️ is that deep.
Enid's colorful side of the room//The Importance of color in movies and TV
After seeing this post on Reddit, I started looking up the meaning of color in film and television and came across this:
Color in film and television is much more than an aesthetic element: it's a narrative and psychological resource that influences how we perceive characters, emotions, and the story. Here's a summary of its most important aspects:
Narrative Function
Worldbuilding: Colors help define the atmosphere of a film or series (e.g., the sepia tones in Breaking Bad used to differentiate Mexico from the US).
Character Identity: Each character can be associated with a specific color palette (e.g., in Wednesday, the contrast between Wednesday's dark clothing and Enid's pastel tones reinforces their contrasting personalities).
Symbolism: Colors like red, white, or black carry cultural and emotional meanings that audiences immediately recognize.
Psychological Function
Emotion: Colors convey moods.
Blue → sadness, calm, coldness.
Red → passion, violence, danger.
Yellow → joy, but also toxicity or madness (example: Hereditary or Midsommar).
Subconscious: Often the viewer is unaware of the color's effect, but it guides their emotional reaction.
Signature: Directors like Wes Anderson, Wong Kar-wai, and Guillermo del Toro have a highly recognizable use of color.
Visual Cohesion: A limited or consistent palette gives unity to the work.
Contrast and Shock: Opposing colors (e.g., red and green) generate visual tension.
If we compare this to Enid, there's an evolution in her character. In season one, her style and colors were always striking, but I think her hair is what changed the most besides her outfits, especially her uniform:
Her hair color stood out, but not in the way it does in the new season and the uniform did not differentiate her from the other students.
This season that changed:
The colors in her hair are more striking, as is her uniform. This indicates the evolution of Enid's character after unleashing her wolf, and we can see it. And the contrast is even more interesting when we see that, despite all this physical evolution, her mentality remains the same.
She still needs her best friend. I think there's a reason they killed off Yoko in the first place. Enid no longer has another friend to turn to and hide behind when she has a problem with Wednesday. In the first season, she had Yoko. Without Yoko in the picture, Bruno remains, and that led to what the clowns did with Enid, what they couldn't do with Wednesday, which was to put her in a boring love triangle.
More about color and Enid:
Color in Enid Sinclair
Enid's General Palette
Bright, vibrant, and pastel colors → directly contrast with Wednesday's dark tones. This underscores her optimistic, effusive, and emotional personality, in contrast to Wednesday's seriousness and sobriety.
Pink, blue, and purple → recur in her wardrobe, decor, and personal belongings.
Her bedroom is almost a visual manifesto of who she is: cozy, full of light and color, as if everything screams "affection and openness.
The pink, purple, and blue ribbon pattern matches the bisexual flag:
💗 Pink → attraction to the same gender.
💜 Purple → attraction to more than one gender, fusion.
💙 Blue → attraction to a different gender.
This has been interpreted by many fans as a queer-coded nod. Although Netflix or the creators haven't explicitly confirmed this, it's consistent with the trend of using colors as symbols to suggest identities or subtexts without overtly declaring them.
Narrative Symbolism
Decoration as an Emotional Extension: Enid uses her space to express who she is, unlike Wednesday, who maintains her more restrained side.
Counterpoint and Complement: The contrast between Enid's and Wednesday's palettes not only marks differences, it also reinforces the subtext of attraction between opposites that many fans read into their relationship.
Inclusive and Generational Language: Enid represents the new, the diverse, and the open to difference. The color detail is, therefore, a visual narrative resource that connects with young and queer audiences.
Enid in Wednesday doesn't need to explicitly say "I'm bisexual" or "I like girls." The strategic use of color in her personal space already serves as a visual nod for those who can read it. Thus, the production design supports queer interpretations without the need for explicit dialogue.
I think the most curious thing about this love triangle is that it fits perfectly with someone navigating their sexuality and the natural doubts of whether you like boys or girls or both. Personally, I've experienced the same thing as Enid. I dated guys before realizing I also liked girls and ended up coming out as bisexual. It's possible the same thing could happen with Enid, EVEN IF IT'S NOT WITH WEDNESDAY.

Yeah, there's something fucked about Brazilians. IDGAF if I sound xeno. There is something culturally fucked that they would sexualize every roommate pairing.
This is the kind of sexualization that the conservatives cry about happening (i.e. they get gay panicked around gays/queers bc they think we're all predatory and looking at them like we want to fuck them). The 🏳️🌈 are doing it. The boys can't just be roommates without these fucks wanting to imagine them wanting to suck eachothers' dicks.

#brasileiros#não se trata de brasileiros em general#the brazilian stans#something about them#all over social media feral for wenclair AND jemma#sexualizing everything because everyone's gotta kiss#jenna and emma being young girls? oh they must be scissoring#jenna an emma looking at each other? oh they for sure are ✂️✂️#eugene and pugsley on the screen? let them kiss/fuck/whatever despite eugene being hung up on enid#jesus christ just chill#y'all got no chill at all#jemma#wenclair#bugsley

HEY, THAT'S A TRADEMARKED PHRASE
💩
RD and EIE are the worst in this fandom.
Why I gotta wake up to one of these fucking cunts being a fucking cunt to PercyT again ? They're BOTH picking on them, because they've made themselves an easy target by entertaining anything either of them spews.
I sent RD a message telling her to fuck right off and keep their name out of her mouth, in case she starts to whine in public about what a 'bitchy/terrible woman' I am, since she no doubt can't stop herself from misgendering me.
Y'all fucking voted ElE as the worst, but ElE's just an idiotic SJW. RD is a homo-/transphobic racist who spreads nonsense around Percy Hynes White/Xavier. Put them both in a room and let them scratch it out.
I really need a separate blog for fandom crap.
