"I've made mistakes" Joe Goldberg, that is the quote of the century. If you call being a psychopath serial killer a mistake then yeah. I love how his self awareness is nonexistent. That is Joe is such an unreliable narrator. He's narcissistic, gaslighting and his grandiose sense of self worth is honestly fascinating. He's probably one of my favorite villains. And Love Quinn is the perfect punishment. I hope they remain miserable together forever. They both deserve each other.

I really appreciate how the girls of Reservation Dogs dress comfy and are not sexualized like so many teen shows these days. They actually look like teenagers, and they're allowed to be. It's refreshing tbh. And Indigenous women have always been overtly sexualized and objectified in the media and in hollywood.

The Racist Fandom Starter Pack
A canon interracial couple exists "I just don't see their chemistry" proceeds to fanon ship [insert white character] instead, claiming they have more of a connection.
"It's not their skin color, I just don't like them for some reason, btw, here are my top 5 [insert white actors] I think are better suited"
"Not everything is about race". They say, as they prop up every white character over any character of color.
"Please stop bring race drama into the fandom". Which translates to, I'm comfortable in my racism and don't appreciate any criticism, thanks!
White person, "Yeah, I wrote character of color as an animal, doesn't make me racist".
"I love character of color, here's a fic where they act like as [insert white characters] servant/therapist".
Character of color is such a bad friend for having opinions of their own/taking care of themselves instead of putting their friend [insert white character] first.
A character of color is morally ambiguous or a villain, gets redemption arc. "They're awful and haven't been condemned enough of their crimes". Stans [insert white characters] who did the exact same crimes or was a villain who's redemption arc is praised.
"Can't believe that character of color had the nerve not to die as a selfless sacrifice for [insert white character]".
"POC actress/actor is too ethnic and they'd ruin the character".
"I haven't seen racism in the fandom therefore it isn't there".
"Character of color is the main character of the show sure, but let's be honest, everyone came for [insert white character]
"Character of color is alright but I can only relate to [insert white character]".
Feel free to add more, that you've come across. Sadly, it all runs together after awhile of being in a lot of fandoms. Special shout out to all who helped me with these comments!

So I finished Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and yeah.... It was AMAZING!! Honestly I'm now obsessed with the whole movie. It set the bar high for other mcu films to follow. Shang Chi(Shaun) is a great superhero addition to the Mcu and Simu Liu is a wonderful actor. Can't wait to see him in more marvel projects. I love Shaun's platonic relationship with Katy too. I'm shipping them I mean come on, its the friends to lovers trope. Which is my favorite of course after enemies to lovers. Also can I say that I love Xialing!!!! When she saves Katy from falling, yes they did that. Girl boss and girl power, what a woman. I need a film about her being a Girl boss tbh.

I'm really disappointed with the writers for sidelining Sam in his own show. Idgaf about John Walker, im tired of his storyline .NO ONE CARES. GIVE ME MORE SAM. Actually everyone else is getting character development over their lead character??? Make it make sense pls.... And this is a limited series too... We better get a Sam Wilson Captain America movie....

Watching Kat Graham videos on YouTube and it makes so happy to see people finally discussing how terrible Kat and her character were treated on TVD. Julie Plec and Caroline Dries are horrible racists and couldn't stand the fact Bonnie AND Kat were so loved by the cast but also the fans. Kat dealt with such microaggressions from both those wretched women. Constantly killing Bonnie off, mistreating her, wanting to fire Kat(would've happened if not for Ian and also fans) They couldn't stand to see such a beautiful black woman in the spotlight and it shows. Their looks alone when Kat was talking*literally any time just shows the racism and misogynair Kat constantly dealt with. It's so validating to see so many people talking about what black fans of TVD have said for years. Kat Graham literally hates her character, doesn't want to talk about her time on the show because of how terrible her time on there was. Even the fact that Julie Plec opened her mouth to speak out on racism going on in these times is so hypocritically laughable to me. She has no self awareness at all. You can watch the videos on YouTube for yourself and see all the mistreatment Kat endured from both those women, the way they(Julie and Caroline) absolutely froth at the mouth anytime Kat dared to voice her opinions is just disgusting. Bonnie Bennett deserved better. Kat Graham deserved better. Bonnie Bennett carried that show period. And was a fan favorite despite all that racist bullshit Julie and Caroline pulled. Its honestly so gross it took this long for people to be mainstream talking about it but at least they're now talking about it.

I notice a pattern with white feminists refusing to understand why women of color characters shown as love interests or main leads are very important. Like maybe you've seen this a million times but women of color and little girls everywhere haven't?!!
Growing up as a black girl, I rarely saw black women characters portrayed much beyond a white women's token best friend. I related to white characters I didn't have many options and there's nothing wrong with relating to them, its the fact little girls who like me weren't considered. There aren't many well written women of color characters that aren't tropes or propping up white women.
I had one woman tell me it shouldn't matter what color the character is as long as they are well written. Her argument was, ordinary women characters need to be shown, no matter what they look like. WRONG. Spoken like someone who has never struggled to find characters that looked like them as a child. Maybe to HER, it's not a big deal to see women of color on screen but we're celebrating ourselves. Representation matters period. Diversity shouldn't be an option, and we don't have to compromise on this.
White women get to choose between well written and ordinary characters, while women of color don't have the same luxury. Shows depicting women of color allowed to be loved, cherished, protected, and main leads are vital. What could be empowering to white women is not mutually empowering for women of color. Strong women characters that don't need no man aren't empowering to women of color since many of us, especially black women get stereotyped into such roles.

I've been obsessed with watching anti-mlm (multi-level marketing) content on youtube. They're basically cults. It's insane and it reminds me of that The office episode where michael is trying to convince Jim that his mlm selling cards business is not a pyramid scheme. It's honestly funny but these stories of people escaping these mlm cults is just scary.

Bucky living in Wakanda definitely made him appreciate beautiful black women. The way he introduced himself to Sarah?!! The way he first said her name... He was feeling her. His big cheesiest smile. Everytime he saw Sarah he cheesed. The man was positively purring for her. One thing I love about the Wilsons(one of many) is how comfortable Bucky is in their company. Bucky needs the Wilsons in his life and I'm glad he is the most at ease with them.

So Endgame really killed off Natasha because she had no "real family" when the whole time she had Yelena, Alexi and Melina as her family along with Steve and Co. This just proves all along that Natasha deserved better and the Endgame arc for her was bs. I can't wait to see Yelena go get Clint's ass, and beat him up.

I've already seen some out of pocket dumb as hell comments from marvel stans regarding racism around the show and why the show even has to write about racism... That alone speaks of so much ignorance. Sam Wilson is a Black man in America, and constantly has to deal with systematic oppression and full out racism. The episode in the bank is a perfect example of how even though Sam is a war hero, gave so much for his country, and at the end of the day it doesn't matter, he's still clearly affected by it. Or the cop scene where Sam is the only one targeted by the police and not Bucky. And the horrible way Isaiah Bradley was treated in comparison to Steve. Or how America would rather have that Captain America fraud instead of Sam, a war hero, a good man, and someone who STEVE himself picked Sam to carry on the legacy of Captain America. It's all very explicit because the writers want people to see it and recognize the problem.... I'm glad the TFATWS is bringing up racism, and if anyone feels uncomfortable, then good. Writing about racism isn't supposed to be comforting, it's supposed to get people thinking, and idk, actually show how fucked up society is and how people who are look Sam are treated compared to people with white privilege.

This is going to be unpopular but I prefer less sex in period dramas. Pride and Prejudice stands the test of time because of all the yearning and angst. Even with Emma 2020, we do have horniness but its still yearning and not a thousand sex scenes.... I'm not a prude but watching Bridgerton sex scenes got super old real fast. Oh and try watching that with your family.... It'll get awkward!🤣🤣They never put any warning at all, just bam! A sex scene in the first 15 minutes.

I love Yelena Belova so much already. I'm a simple woman and I like watching pretty women beat up people and she does all that. Florence Pugh is just a powerhouse, at this point what can't she do? We better be getting a Yelena spin off now.
