Lively, loud, fun-loving; Amelie takes the role of being the Legion’s resident jokester. Even during dangerous situations, Amma is given to flippant (and most of the time, cringe-worthy) wisecracks and one-liners, staying relaxed and seemingly carefree all the while. She’s shameless flirt, constantly spouting lame pick up lines to anyone she sees as the least bit attractive (although she does very poorly at actually getting a date). Despite her general goofiness, she’s incredibly dedicated to the Legion cause and her fellow Legionnaires, giving her 100% and beyond.

Amma’s happy-go-lucky attitude is for the most part, for the sake of relieving the stress that the life of a hero often brings. Not just for herself, but for her friends as well, however it’ll occasionally blow up in her face. While she might not mean to, she has a habit of coming across as immature and reckless, especially compared to the other founding Legionnaires. Over the years, this had started to shape into a suppressed inferiority complex that when exposed, leads to sporadic and intense clashes with others.

Powers/Advantages

Amelie uses air manipulation as an offset of telekinesis, maneuvering the air in and/or around objects she moves them to her will, including herself, enabling flight without the use of her Legion flight ring. She can also manifest her aerokinesis in strong gusts, whirlwinds, and gales. By controlling air waves, Amelie is capable of sound amplification and negation.

Like all Legionnaires, Amelie owns a Legion flight ring, which enables flight outside of her natural metagene, provides communication between other Legionnaires, can emit light like a flashlight, and protects the wearer from the vacuum of space. The Legionnaire belt works as a cloaking device.

Amelie is unable to create her own atmosphere, she can only use the air that's already available; her powers are rendered useless in a vacuum. They’re also tied a bit closely to her emotions, she has a hard time reeling them in if her emotions get the best of her.

Biography

Amelie was first born to Sinclair and Cornelia Gwin, followed three years later by all male triplets. The Gwins lived a happy existence, making their living off the small but successful restaurant under Sinclair’s name. Amma was an active, sporty girl throughout all of elementary and middle school and from a young age was smitten with the idea of running the restaurant when she was old enough. Her parents were loving and doting of her and her brothers, but she was particularly close to her father, who was known for his jolliness and all around silliness.

Tragedy struck the Gwins when Amma was twelve, her father was caught in the middle of an armed robbery while closing the restaurant. Sinclair was found dead at the scene. The Gwins stumbled at the sudden blow, Cornelia scrambled to not only trying to keep herself from falling apart, but console her children while keeping the business stable. Seeing her mother doing her best to keep everything cohesive, Amma did her best as the eldest of the children to comfort her brothers and help in any way she could in the restaurant.

The incident of her father’s murder molded much of her personality. She loved her father dearly and his death devastated her, but instead of allowing herself the time to grieve she took up Sinclair’s jovial disposition. She forced herself to stay strong for her family, shoving any of her own trauma down where no one could see it, and instead focused on trying to brighten everyone else’s day.

The stress of keeping up her mask of cheeriness eventually came too much not more than a few months after Sinclair’s death. A particularly nasty crying spell came to a crux, alone in her room, Amma felt as if everything was too much and too soon, her feelings erupted. She didn’t realize the roar in her ears wasn’t just her blood rushing, but that her room had been seized by a whirlwind, ripping through posters and hurling around furniture. The noise alerted her mother, who came rushing to her daughter’s side, which proved nearly disastrous. The storm correspond to Amma’s emotions, who was now in a panic, as the wind tore the roof off and sent both Amma and Cornelia sailing through the clouds.

Amma, in what should have been a futile effort, imagined that they’d somehow make it down safely. When the force of the impact never came, the mother and daughter opened their eyes to see they were hovering unharmed over the remains of their house, the triplets staring up at them in awe.

Amma, due to the stress of grief that went unchecked, activated her own metagene.

The Gwins made their home at the restaurant, loyal customers and helpful neighbors contributed in making the place comfortable for them with generous donations. Meanwhile, Amma experimented with her new found abilities, all under the careful eye of her mother. While abilities such as her own was no longer too outside the norm in the 31st century, Amma couldn’t fight the feeling that her powers could perhaps make a difference, instead of having them just thrown under the rug as a quirk.

She developed the habit of dropping by the remaining superhero museums, Superman and the Flash, as they were the first few who came to time with abilities that helped the world. The prospect of being a hero herself was something that called her greatly, but Amma couldn’t think up a way to start. Her chance would appear however, just a little after her thirteenth birthday.

Once again roaming through the Superman Museum, Amma encountered three kids right around her age, huddled far off to the corner of the building. Experience in having three younger brothers who were more often than not up to no good, Amma tried out a new trick she had been practicing. By keeping together the air waves from their voices a longer distance, she was able to carry their conversation to where she was staying, essentially eavesdropping. What she thought was three kids potentially plotting to trash the museum was actually plan on solving the conspiracy behind the threat over billionaire, R.J Brande’s, head.

Amma practically forced herself into the conversation, much to the surprise of the other three. A Braalian with magnetic manipulation, Rokk Krinn, a Titinian telepath, Imra Ardeen and Winathian electrokinetic, Garth Ranzz. Rokk, Imra and Garth were skeptical of Amma, who shoved herself into their plans with no sense of the danger to come. She won them over however, by showing them her own abilities, namely, her flight and the ease of transportation it would bring. And so the four became a rag-tag team of heroes, coming together to save R.J Brande.

Brande was grateful for their quick-thinking and selflessness and in return now helps fund their team of defenders, The Legion of Superheroes.

Amelie goes by Zephyr, a senior Legionnaire, and fights so that the galaxy can be safe from the likes of the Fatal Five and that no one should have to experience her loss.

Notes

Zephyr is a skilled cruiser pilot, since her abilities are void in space, she didn't want rendered useless. Her fighting style bleeds into her piloting, very quick on her reflexes.

Amma prefers to float everywhere rather than have her feet touch the ground, reason being she’s the second shortest member of the Legion and it’s hard to tell when she’s in the air.

One of the few things Amma takes with extreme caution is kitchen duty, she’s taken the title of the Legion’s Head Chef. Other Legionnaires take scheduled shifts helping her set up meals for the day. She’s surprisingly stern when it comes to the kitchen, from food preparation to cleanliness.

She’s notorious for developing inconvenient crushes, such as with a constant thorn in the Legion’s side, Mekt Ranzz, and far beyond her league, the President of United Planets, Winema Wazzo

Amma is well aware of her status as a founder, but dislikes drawing respect out through it. However, she does wish that her fellow founders took her a little more seriously, something that causes friction mostly between Cosmic Boy and herself.

She had originally named herself Gale Girl when the Legion first came to be, but with Imra, Luorno and Tinya’s hero names all ending in “Girl” as well, Amma wanted to stand out. Zephyr looks and sounds cool.

Shit, I and Kirishima likes the same damned girl

🔸TIMBERWOLF: BNHA Fanfic - by i.k.

summary: An event where students are grouped with other hero schools; they're Teamed up with quirks they're not familiar with, and fight other groups which consisted of a couple of your their classmates in CLASS A1. Bakugo and Kirishima were teamed up with a girl; that both of them started developing feelings for. Would it cause conflict to their friendship?

"First rule, don't blow your teammates' head off; even though your teammates are from discrete schools, they would serve as your allies for this event; and you should see your schoolmates from other teams, as your enemy. Forget those little happy chitchats you had with them, for this event, your goal is to beat their assigned team," the anouncer spoke through the speakers, as Class A1 was dripping sweat because of their hero costumes.

"Second rule, to avoid having personal issues with your teammates; you'll be introduced with your hero-names. Do not expose personal informations to your teammates, for your own privacy and safety" the announcer coughed. Dumbass bastard taking too long to fucking announce. Let the fucking fight begin.

It took another ten minutes for the orientation to bring to an end as Hero-Names were echoed inside the fucking hell-like stadium, announcing the teams.

Bastards were started to be grouped with other extras as they were proceeded to a meeting place,

"---Rampage, Hairloom, Creati, Vionlina, Sugarman, Astapol. COBALT GROUP"

"---Constalia, Neptuli, Grape Juice, Organo, Pinky, Master-Stealth. OLIVE GROUP"

"---Deku, Anima, Aquablast, Puppeteer, Werm, Bubble-blast. FANDANGO GROUP "

"---Umblaster, Froppy, Shoto, Kayomander, Sagaplum, Targetshot. TUSCAN"

The dumbasses started grouping in a separate arena. Screw this event for naming the groups with lame-ass color shades. Each group has an individual cloth wrapped around their arms, in regard of the color shade they were grouped.

About thirty people were only left in the stadium as everybody was grouped. What's taking so fucking much for me to be grouped.

"---Reflecto, Xynopen, Red Riot, Soulcia, Mystique, Ground Zero. TIMBERWOLF GROUP"

I gave Kirishima a nod as we advanced to grab our Timberwolf-colored cloth, with the word 'timberwolf' written on it, and proceeded to the next arena, where everybody was with their alloted teams.

There were two cloths, one in our leg, to identify which team's we're in; and the other in our arms, which plays a big part in the pointing system.

Iida and Ojiro greeted upon seeing us, with their 'Amber' cloth wrapped in their arms. I'm ready to blast their empty heads off.

Timberwolf group consisted of Kirishima, Me, Reflecto, Xynopen, Soulcia, and Mystique. Where the fuck are they.

"Hey! I'm on your team!" A guy with shiny, reflective costume waved at us, "Name's Fuj-- Reflecto. Call me Reflecto," he smiled. If it weren't for the fact that I'll be automatically eliminated if I faught my ally, I would, in no fucking second thought, kill this damned person.

Kirishima smiled back, "Red Riot," he looked at me expecting to greet, but for fuck's sake, I'm here to beat the other extras, not to make friends with this dumb person who has a dumb costume as well. "He's Ground Zero," Kirishima patted my shoulder, "He doesn't talk much. But he kills much,"

"TIMBERS WHO OWNS WOLVES! HOW ARE YALL HANGING IN THERE?" A loud bitch in a black suit came in our circle, putting his arms around us. The fuck is this guy, permission to fucking kill. I think he's not in my team, "Xynopen, my mans. Call me Xynopen my timbers,"

A small voice coughed, "Hi. Is this Timberwolf?" we looked at a girl who was in a white costume

"GAGHHH GHOST!" Xynopen yelled.

"This is Timberwolf," Reflecto remarked.

"I'm... I'm Soulcia," a girl with pale face, jet-black eyes, and white long hair responded.

"So we have me, Xynopen, Ground Zero, Red Riot, Soulcia, and... who's not here," Reflecto announced as he roamed his eyes for Timberwolf-colored cloth.

"Enough fucking chitchats. What's your fucking quirks?" I asked as their eyes turned to me.

Xynopen raised his arms "Me! Me first! Xynopen is actually originated from the instrument Xylophone, and--"

"I didn't asked for your fucking background history," I spat.

He continued "Well, my quirk is Controlling people based on the melody I sing. It basically has a background music of a Xylophone, and.."

"Ok I get it, mind control, lame. Next," I looked at Reflecto.

"I paralyze people for 3 minutes when I look at them in the eyes. Doesn't matter if it's not directly. It can be in a mirror," He said gesturing his costume, as he fixed his goggles, "The goggles prevents me from paralyzing people,"

"Not lame as the loud dude. But still lame. Next," I looked at ghost girl.

"Soulcia. I take people's souls," she smiled creepily, and made Kirishima flinch.

"Cool. I explode people and I like to kill people," I stared at them, "I'm better than all of you,"

Kirishima cut out the silence as he said, "Red Riot. Body hardening,"

The speakers echoed "As expected, all of you are in your assigned group now. Hope you introduced yourselves to each other. The grouping system was really tricky; because all groups are equally skilled, and are based of individual's scores and ability,"

The announcement continued, "To win, it's easy, collect other team's COLOR-CLOTH, each cloth, if taken, has a different score per member, you can check the scores assigned to you at the back of your cloths. Though, each group has a sum score of 500; individually, on your cloths, has different amounts of points; but it does not reflect your performance, because everyone is graded BY TEAMS, but MVP's are acknowledged,"

We checked our cloths and my cloth has 25 points. Soulcia has 120. Kirishima has 70. Xynopen has 150. Reflecto has 45.

It took some fucking more rule announcement and we were set off in the battle field, similar to the Provisional Licensing Exam location. "Start, Now,"

I sprinted in the Building Zone, as my team members followed me, then unexpectedly, the whole fucking building was falling, we weren't alert about the current situation and we were all startled at the sight of the falling structure.

We were just here five-minutes and damn we were about to be fucking killed---

Then a flying girl wooshed at our direction, stopping the descending building with the control of her mind; with her help to cease the unfortunate event, I blasted off the fucking building.

The girl in a red suit and white cape, that helped us; smiled at us and walked towards our position.

"Sorry I'm late Timberwolves, had an emergency. Mystique. Flight, psychokinetic and telepathic abilities,"she smiled at us while showing her Timberwolf-colored cloth wrapped at her arms, and at that moment, looking at her damn eyes, I knew I was feeling something different that I haven't felt in anybody.

We were strolling in the City Zone, looking for someone to ambush, as me and stink-brain were at the front line, walking.

He coughed "Baku--"

"Ground Zero, for fuck's sake," I shot a death-glare.

"Ground Zero," Kirishima replied.

"The fuck is your problem,"

"D'ya think Mystique's hot?" he said poking his head to Mystique's direction, at the back, talking to Soulcia.

"Since when did you became like the bastard Mineta," I sarcastically said, but certainly, she is hot and attractive, however I can't inform this dumbass because this bitch has hots for Mystique, obviously. Besides, I'm not the type of person who fucking fucks with people; also the type of person who has loveydovey eyes strolling in love-land, hand in hand with a cute bastard making love.

Stupid head looked at Mystique, "Damn she is charismatic, and the way she saved us lately? Damn she's strong," He said, scratching his head.

Minutes had passed, yet we haven't accumulated points, "I think we should split up," I looked at my teammates.

"WHY? SHOULDN'T WE BE STRONGER AND BEAT THEM IF MY MANS ARE INTACT?" Xynopen said, yelled, wanna cut his fucking throat off.

"Ground Zero's right," Mystique said, and I blushed, "The aim is to catch as many cloths as possible, to reflect on our team's performance,"

"We should be grouped by two. The more chances of getting cloths," Reflecto nodded as he looked at us, "I go with Soulcia. Xynopen, go with Red Riot. Mystique, and Ground Zero," the thought of me and Mystique being teammates, and grouped together made me blush, AGAIN. What the fuck is happening to me.

"Isn't it unfair that our top two players are grouped same?" Soulcia tilted her head, creepily.

"Mystique has 180 points in her cloth. It's alright that another strong one with 25 points is with her. That means, Ground Zero can sacrifice his points if ever they're attacked; and save Mystique's points," Reflecto responded. This man is damn smart.

"Ground Zero, right?" Mystique looked at me, her fetching eyes caught mine.

"Indeed," I responded.

"Saw you blasting the building I stopped. You were great,"

I blushed, for the millionth time, fuck it, "You did a great job on stopping the building. Dumbasses weren't doing anything and they were about to die,"

"Shut up," She stopped walking.

"No, I'm not fucking kidding. They were really about to die---"

"No, literally. Shut up," She roamed her eyes, "Do you hear that?"

I heard children laughing, echoing, I had goosebumps, "What the fu---"

"GROUND ZERO WATCH OUT!" Mystique yelled as he used her quirk to dodge a fucking car that was tossed at our direction.

Six people were in front of us, two of them, are Uraraka and Shoji. PALATINATE TEAM.

Uraraka and Soji had wide eyes when they layed eyes on me.

"The one with the yellow coat, that's Beestruck, my classmate. Don't come near her, one sting, and you'll be turned into a bee, for 3 hours, unless she reverse it," Mystique whispered.

"One in the pink, don't remember her hero name, but when she touches you, you float. The dude with the many arms, I don't really know, he fights, and has a lot of arms," I coughed, fuck I don't know any informations about the dumbasses.

Beestruck smiled, "You won't get hurt, Mystique, and a friend of yours, if both of you would just sacrifice your cloths,"

"We aren't dumb like you," Mystique smirked. Damn girl, I was not aware that she can be sassy like that.

"Where's the rest?" A short man with orange cape asked.

"Statement's wrong beebitch. Go fucking sting other extras. Give your points, or no one will get hurt," I said, shotting explosions at my hands.

"Looks like they want to play hard. Palatinate team, attack," Beebitch said as six of them jolted in our direction. Mystique tossed a street lamp at them, and I shot an explosion, as I ran to escape.

I ran and ran. Wait what the fuck. Where's Mystique.

I looked back and saw her at the explosion scene with the six of the fallen bitches as I ran back for her. I couldn't see her clearly because of the smoke, blocking.

"Mystique!" I yelled, trying to find her.

"Ground Zero! Don't come back!" She said, as she sprinted out the smoke, running. The bee, and two other idiots were running behind her, I was frozen, unable to think. If I shoot, Mystique will be affected, she run and looked at me, who was just frozen, "Ground Zero! RUN!" Her voice echoed, as I start running as Mystique advanced me.

I run and I was knocked down by the Bee who catched me, while the other two locked my arms. I was about to be stung by the beebitch when Mystique came back and used her quirk to knock them down.

"You can't touch Ground Zero, Beestruck," She said as she assisted me to stand up, "Hurry, Run!" She remarked, as we both bolted.

"Run all you want, honey. I got myself your man's points," Beestruck yelled as we were both running. We turned right and exchanged breaths as we took a rest.

"Mystique, I need to get back, the yellow bitch has our points," I pleaded.

"Your 25 points?" She scoffed, and reached something in her back, holding 6 fucking violet cloths, "What the fuck?!" my mouth dropped, "You got the violet's groups' points?"

She smiled, "Actually, It's Palatinate. But yes, I did got them. What makes you think took me too long at the explosion area?" She chuckled.

I looked at the building in front of us, and I think I just saw tummy burst and the invisible girl from our fucking class. Bitches hasn't learn anything and I can ambush them right now, "Mystique, do me a favor and wait for me for like 2 minutes?"

She raised an eyebrow, "For what?"

"I might have something in return of my lost 25 points," I said, eyeing stomach guy and the unseen girl.

"Whatever you say, Ground Zero. I'll just be right here," She responded as I quietly went in the building were sparkle tummy and invisible lady were hiding.

"AHHH!" tummy dude screamed.

"Oh my god! Bakugou!" the unseen girl yelled. I gave them an evil smile as I shot some explosions.

"Bakugo! Take our points!" sparkle stomach said, Well that was easy. I looked at their points which was 170, and 90. I smirked as I imagine Mystique's face when I showed her the points.

I went out the building, approaching Mystique.

She is there; but she's with a person. Hugging him, hands collided.

It was my friend, Kirishima.

Whittaker rose from his brief respite at the crest of a wind-swept hill, soft undulations rippling through the grasses. Brushing some dust off the backside of his robe, he proceeded to stretch his arms wide, grunting.

"I shall be home soon, Yrweth. And I hope in the process to discover more about these visions I've been having..." His voice faded, and he found himself reaching back to touch the jet-black feather that hung from his top-knot. He looked up to the gathering clouds of timberwolf and charcoal fast approaching. "The Raven Queen."

If that's who he'd been accidentally praying to for the past few years, and she had waited this long to reveal herself, she must be worth researching a bit more about. It seemed so far that her goals aligned with his--the right passing of life to the next world, judgment equally applied, and a healthy respect for death. She seemed to not hold his sense of humor, though. He shrugged, and started down the path. After his time recovering at the monastery, he was ready to be home with his family.
