Well atleast they aren't disappointed in me 🥹.

Just a few quick notes before I go (sorry can't help myself 🫣)

"none of these things that this obviously ignorant anon has written is how real relationships work" hey but that was my point. That is for sure not how real relationships work. Real relationships aren't dependent just on specific occasions. That's why my hypothetical me broke up with my hypothetical bf 🤷🏻‍♀️

The way Jk behaves with Taehyung in public (aww so you see it too?? Aren't they the cutest? 🥰) shows more than anything that those two don’t have anything to hide-Btw, going as buddies in the military or shooting travel shows as a duo doesn't come under the "hidden couple" category either.

But there's a reason for that, the reason is- I had no idea that they "disappeared" bcs believe it or not, I am not in-charge of their pee pee schedules. And trust me you don't want to assert the point that they were using those 20 mins for making out in the concert venue loo, bcs by that logic, taekook have been making out at almost every other award show, since they've had a habit of "disappearing" together during shows.

There were four members at the hs concert. Two stuck together like glue, the others did their own thing. There were three at yoongi's concert, two stuck together, the other one was more focused on yoongi. There were 6 and then 5 members in '23. Two stuck together, the others did their own thing. Now if you want to believe that those two are just coworkers(bcs jikookers don't even believe in their friendship), and I am ignorant and don't knwo how real relationships work, then I'd rather have this coworker relationship than that relationship with a boyfriend.

Well, they are probably sitting around being all mad because I once again hid their ask from all of you 😂. Thanks for coming back, I think the tone of your ask was pretty lost to them.

My reason for not believing that Jk and Jm are together will always be that I do not see it in their general interactions. Sure there's some moments that out of context look sus, but when you look at them in context.. they are clearly just friends (which is by all means just as important by the way, people should stop acting as if calling two people best friends is some sort of insult). No matter how many birthdays or couple days they spend together, no matter how happily Jk talks to Jm in his lives, no matter how often they are seen together in general.. I just do not see it in the way they interact. Never have, not once! So for Jkkrs to come here and use arguments about Jkk to debunk Taekook.. it just makes no sense. It is not as though we are not aware of Jkk moments, or that we are not aware of Jkkrs theories.. we know! We deal with the same footage, Jkkrs literally send their opinions to our blogs. I am just never going to see it. I still will not see it even if it ever turns out that Jk and Tae are just friends.

I can never take a Jkkrs opinion on Tae and Jk seriously, because I think a lot of their opinions are based on unrealistic views. Had I thought their views on Jk, Tae, and Jm as individuals are correct, perhaps we would have more room to discuss.. but with how they usually describe the three, I don't think there's a possibility of that happening.

I was talking to my best friend ab the whole Jkk MS situation and we came to the conclusion that, although we can't be sure of the nature of their relationship, these two are more committed to each other than many official couples we know. Like, if it proved tomorrow that they aren't/were never a thing, I would seriously question my sanity.

I'm just thinking how, OF COURSE, I'd rather enlist with any of my best friends too rather than go through the process alone but the implications of the entire buddy system seem so much.. more to me. Applying 3 months prior, choosing the hardest divisions so you have more chance to be together, knowing the consequences if you both fail, being certain that you won't get sick of eo for being together 24/7. And just when I was thinking how most people appreciate their 'me time' throughout the day, especially after spending so much time with somebody else, even if it's one of your closest people - boom, these two bitches choose to apply for the same brigade as well. This shows how confident they are in their bond, how they'd rather spend every waking moment together than spend time apart, and that's something that doesn't apply to friends or even most couples. And if they by chance end up with other people in the future, I don't think it will ever measure with what these two men have with each other. But PLS JIKOOK JUST TELL US WHAT YOU ARE, IM SERIOUSLY SO INVESTED i love them sm

Hi hi, sorry for the super late reply, I really loved your ask but my adhd kicked in and I kept pushing off answering cause I wanted to answer right.

But you and your best friend are onto something because honestly the amount of time that jikook have committed to each other by enlisting together is insane. At first I was sceptical how spending too much time together might potentially affect them too but I recently went on a trip with my family and had to spend almost a whole week with my sister and her boyfriend who stuck to each other like glue and were as silly and hopelessly in love as they were 6 years ago when they first started dating each other. These two spend a lot of time together but they still don't mind getting to spend even more time together because that's their person, and it's not about being constantly upto some romantic shenanigans with that person but just the comfort of their presence right by your side.

I'm sure jikook still get their little 'me times' despite the buddy system because if there’s anything these two are good at, it's respecting each other's boundaries and wishes but I also don't think they will (fingers crossed) have any problems with spending such an exorbitant amount of time together because another thing these two have shown us is just how much they prefer each other's company.

Jikooks relationship truly can't just be limited to friends or boyfriends most days because they find themselves in such a unique position due to the nature of their fame and the obvious homophobic social structures around them. But I do think they've carved themselves a corner in this space that is just their's and their's to be witness too, regardless of what may happen in the future, does that make sense?

Anyways, I love them a whole lot and hope they stay healthy and happy till they come back to us.

looking back, my experience in this fandom was mostly based on shipping jikook, reading conspiracy theory blogs, and mostly watching their moments, all of that was first for me, and BTS as a whole was secondary. I could say that jikook always kept me in this fandom, and I was waiting for concerts or other content with their "moments". I think that bts' popularity is partly based on the shipping community, just the fact that I knew bts members from wattpad fanfics long long before I joined the fandom

Yeah, that's something that just happens in kpop. 70% of the kpop experience is the content that's not related to music. There are so many groups that would sell only a couple of thousands albums if they were as inactive as Jimin... but I wholeheartedly believe that they sell that much because of their "close relationship" to fans.

The more time passes, the more of these groups exist. I genuinely can't believe anyone listens to stray kidz or NCT and enjoys it😭 but that's another topic. I'm sorry if anyone reading is a fan, but I just can't. They don't really perform well on charts, but still loyal fans will buy millions of their albums just to "support" them, and collect pretty pictures. It's not really about the music, and almost everything is about the fans liking the idols as people or entertainers, more than musicians.

Part of BTS popularity is definitely thanks to ships, and to the "ot7" agenda. The same as it is for literally every other kpop group on earth. After BTS blew up after winning their first bbma social award, they doubled down on the "we're a family we're so close" stuff. I'm not saying it was fake, but it was also a tool. The way two famous people dating will mean pr moves for both of them in spite of how genuine their love might be, BTS started putting their relationship as a group on the forefront of what being BTS meant, and it was also a pr move.

Bighit made a survey for fans in late 2017.

It was a study market but most of the questions weren't about music. There were a couple that were something like "what do you like about BTS" and relationship between members was one of the options.

I don't know if you were around, but here's a link where you can see the questions, since I can't find screenshots of the survey itself.

A moment that stuck with me was in 2018 when news said that Jungkook had bought his own apartment. Before that, there had been news about Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok and Taehyung buying their own places. Silence from the company. But when JK bought trimage, bighit immediately issued an statement denying it. Even though Jungkook did have his own place there 😭 but him being the youngest was sort of the glue that was supposed to keep the family together. Half of BTS lore is how Jungkook was raised by all the other six members. He couldn't possibly be independent.

A lot of that obviously goes under the radar because BTS music is actually good, or at least they had some outstanding stuff.

The 2020 - 2022 period was particularly "worse" in that sense... All there was to be enjoy was ships, and the members interactions or their "relationship" with fans. The music was bad, no tour, no performances in general, and the behind the scenes content was lacking too. The whole "we didn't want to do solo songs we wanted to sing all together 🫶" they pulled for their last concerts.. it was all about the same narrative of "being together". The LA and Las Vegas concerts were a whole other level of fanservice.

I’m catching up on tumblr and I’m seeing insecure Jikookers all over the place because Jikook hasn’t been making out and vmin have had more “moments”??Sometimes I wonder if I live on the same planet as these people. There were plenty of Jikook moments. My Universe, red carpet? Not a ton but these guys are here working on a very high-profile-world-is-watching-business-trip. In their more private moments, like shopping, dinner, Harry styles and the vlive- they are still aware that millions of people are going to be watching their every move- and we still got pretty loud moments between Jikook. Even seeing them in person here in LA, i saw the same Jikook as always. Nothing different about it. Those looks they give each other. The eye contact. You feel the tension when they are separated. I saw Jimin cuddle with Tae and Hobi and nothing about it made me question for a second if Jikook were real. I thought it was adorable and I loved every second of it. I love any affection between any of the members. But Jikook are different. Why can’t nervous jikookers see that?

Hey anon, I am 100% with you on this. Kind of tired with the Jikook rollercoaster, as I tend to call it. Every couple of months we get this down slump with insecure Jikookers feeling something is wrong in Jikookland because they aren't loud enough for them, or being fueled by antis and TKK's with their loud shit. In any case it's a cycle of ups and downs, next up will come when Jikook are as loud as hell, and I assure you that up will be coming.

People seem to forget that JK & JM, both members of BTS, the biggest band in the world at the moment, are a GAY CLOSETED COUPLE working in an industry that does not allow personal relationships (ruins the brand) and living in a conservative society in which a majority would not approve of a gay relationship. They are hiding in plain sight, key word HIDING.

And yes, they are lucky in a way to have surroundings that accept and protect them, and that would include BH too, but with all that, they are still not publicly 'out'.

They push their boundaries time and time again, and as we have seen of late, it's kind of something they are being allowed to do, but there are still those boundaries.

Think of it as them, their relationship, their togetherness, within a huge ass rubber band. Once in a while they push it out, tug on it, it stretches out, loosens up a little bit more every time, but then there is a pull back in. The more they stretch the bigger it gets, but it still has it's pull backs, and yet to break.

That's them within their boundaries. Last tug was of course hickey-gate, which was a huge one, and of course it was followed by the rubber band pulling back slightly (this is also a cycle with them). So super loud is usually followed with mellowing down, then loud again, then mellow and so forth. As long as they don't 'come out' publicly they need to keep the deniability in tact, and look, it's actually working, because you hear these voiced: "jikook are over", "TKK are real", "Vmin are loud because Jikook are done", etc. etc. all that bull.

People also seem to forget that Jikook are now what? 6 years into their relationship? Whichever way you look at it, even those that are into thinking they started off only after their Tokyo trip, that was way back in 2017. They are in a long term love relationship. It would make sense that the doubters, insecure Jikookers would be young'ens, people that haven't been in a loving healthy long term relationship as of yet. If they had, a good healthy relationship, they would know that you aren't hanging on each other 24/7, and yet you still adore, love, lust after each other. No contradiction here. I'll be married 30 years this year, been together for over 30 years. There are moments we are stuck like glue to each other and others we need our space. Same within social environments. Times we are definitely the couple in the room, and others we mingle and aren't at each other's beck and call. There is also a thing called moods and exhaustion and other band members and holding back, especially with those two, knowing cameras are on them almost ALL OF THE TIME, and even more so when they are not in their on safe environment with their own staff and cameramen/women, an environment they know will protect their privacy if they do go too far. So better not go at all than go too far. Doesn't mean they won't have those moments though, I mean RB would be an excellent example of JK throwing it all to the wind.

So, long ass rant here about how everything is good, even if in the eyes of the insecure they seem distant.

But now I'm gonna show how not distant they have actually been, and why I really don't get where this insecurity has come from. Because, yes, they haven't sat in each other's laps, haven't made out in public (Vmin being so loud during AMA's, has any of the insecure thought of why it was Jikook weren't sat together? That it was a conscious decision they wouldn't? Which I can assure you it was).

So what did we have since they have landed in LA? Just since then. No JM birthday Vlive, no hickey-gate and their reactions to it, no airports, no NY visit. Just LA, which as of their week visit so far has it's own LA masterlist already.

They are so distant since they have arrived that every single time there has been a BTS sighting outside their schedule, when they had free time, it's always those two in the mix.

We had them strolling down together with V and Hobi, JM's arms around JK (you have seen the photos and I'm not adding them here).

We've had the two of them sighted at dinner with Hobi, and footage of them leaving, JK's hand finding it's way to JM's ass.

We had them at the Harry Styles concert, Jikook sharing a drink, at times feeling cozy (no distance detected here).

We have them at the AMA's. Everything can be found in my masterlist, including 2 posts with the visuals of them during the AMA's.

And just a little more:

We also had James Corden, the massage train ensuing after JC decided to massage JM's shoulders, and we had JK enjoying the view a little too much.

This is before the concerts have even started.

LOL BH shoving Jikook down their throats. It's not BH's fault Jikook are stuck together like glue on and off camera and when they film them and they are attached at the hip. Its like Jikook during 2018 MMA. Their own individual fan sites could not post pics of them separately, because they were attached to each other, so they had to post them together. BH doesn't shove Jikook down our throats, Jikook shoves Jikook down our throats. They love spending time together. Why are people so damn mad?

The way jimin and jungkook gravitated toward each other when they all came back for bon voyage is so interesting and the way they stuck together like glue! All the other members were doing their own thing and they had a shit ton of space between each other other than jungkook and jimin.

Yeah jimin cuddled with Taehyung (which was very adorable) but am I the only one who saw how different the vibe was between them verses jungkook and jimin!? I mean jimin only had his hand on Jungkook’s thigh yet I felt like I was third wheeling already lol!

Idk...sorry I sound nuts 😂😂 I haven’t rant about Jikook for so long.

Why do you think we don't ever hear of sightings of Jikook out together "ALONE" anymore? Like lately when JK goes out, he is alone or with friends, but never JM & same with JM. There use to be sightings of them all the time. Ice Skating, Movies, Shopping, just standing randomly at a busstop. The last time we know of was White Day, but they still were not alone. I'm not trying to debunk Jikook & I'm not insecure. I guess puzzled is a better word, considering how inseparable they seem in Memories.

And Anon 2 from the opposite side of the spectrum here:

Thinking Jikook are going to be spotted out together publicly sope, Namjoon & Hobi, Hobi & Jimin + how they are with their other friends at other concerts is incredibly unrealistic. They’ve got a image to portray for one, that they aren’t THAT close and two they’re together all the time at “home” why would they go out to a concert together or football game or a museum date. They’re gonna choose less public occasions like the white day dinner with their shared friends that people only knew about because someone took a picture. They didn’t sign anything to make people aware. We wouldn’t of known that hopeminkook went out together with HER until Hobi shared it with us. We don’t KNOW.

I had like 8 anons over this topic asking or throwing fits over the same thing anon 1 is asking about. And I've seen this Same ask being tossed around to other jikook blogs as well. So I deleted most of them, blocked the gross ones and decided I would actually answer this question. And bare with me anon if you actually care to know what I think and aren't just here sowing discourse. Because it'll be a longer post. And some of it aligns with anon number 2. And almost all of it comes back to my favorite phrase to throw at my insecure/other shipper anons. Object permanence.

Again, bare with me. If I forget a "date" I'm working off memory here. So ya know, keep in mind that I, too, am only human.

I think a lot of people struggling with lack of content must mean lack of contact (for jikook). And that's simply not true. But people fall into the pitfalls, especially when they haven't been here since 2013, of seeing content all at once and then being greeted with no content. Or slowed down content, and then they panic. They used to be SPOTTED OUT ALL THE TIME they must just never see each other anymore. Well, let's ACTUALLY look at all those times, and all those dates, shall we?

2014, Jimin and Jungkook go out on a chicken dinner "date." They were never spotted by fans. The only reason we know they spent this time off work, off camera, hanging out, is because Jimin posted about it in his blog. Photo captioned: “for dinner, we ate some delicious chicken~~~ jungkookah, hyung likes chickennnn ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ give me one don’t shove it in my mouth you punk!!!!”

May 2016, again Jikook had a spicy chicken dinner "date" alone, and weren't spotted. The only reason we know about it is because Jimin again, shared it with us. If he didn't share, we would never know. The "before" video too. JK decided to stay up late and hang out/eat with Jimin even though he originally planned to sleep instead. Also in August 2016, fans spotted Jikook out walking in the streets together, JK walking with a bike. When they noticed they got spotted by fans the fan said Jimin "hailed a taxi and they ran away together"

In 2017, when they were given free time by the company, everyone went off to do their own thing and jikook went bowling together. Not spotted by fans, but it was shared in Burn the Stage Ep 5.

In October 2017, they were spotted in Toyko together several times. Which they then also posted about and then never shut up about lol

January 2018, jikook watching the first snow together. Alone. Again, we only know about it because they shared it with us. Not that they were spotted.

February 2018, Jikook went out to dinner and an escape room with Sungwoon, the day after valentines day. Jimin came home early from a Japan schedule right before this too. Left their autograph and was spotted by fans

Summer of 2018, Jikook were spotted seperated from the rest of the members and camera crews before they left Malta hitting up a few stores and going shopping together. They also took the boat back out to watch the red moon together after dropping all the rest of the members back off.

Also summer of 2018, Jungkook told us about how he hung out with Jimin over the break and did bowling and went out for Karaoke. They weren't spotted. We wouldn't otherwise know. And they've mentioned going to do Karaoke together multiple times as well as bowling together many times. And again, summer of 2018, they were spotted by a non army (other kpop stan) standing outside together hanging out at around 1 am.

October 2018, Jikook were spotted by an ARMY riding the bus and they were out alone shopping together.

November 2018, Jikook flew in with the rest of BTS from Japan and then immediately took off on their own and went to dinner as well as then went ice skating and were spotted out together as well as the restaurant sharing an autograph.

In 2019, while in Paris they went shopping together and were spotted by fans. While in London they went out to eat, to see the London Eye and London Bridge with Jimins friends. And in LA they were spotted seeing Avengers End Game together and afterwards went out to dinner together. JK later talked about it at a fansign and they posted a video in the car together coming home. They also stayed late at a concert for a bit when the members had all already left the staging area to watch the fireworks together. Not spotted by ARMY but shared by themselves. In 2019 as well. Jk confirmed that over the break the only members he saw at all were Jimin and Hobi. Not spotted once by fans, but they still spent time together even during all of Jimins traveling around the world.

In 2020, they were rumored to have been spotted at a convenience store together. As well as in September, Jimin confirming they spent the night together.

In 2021, they shared a vminkook trip to the beach, where the Above photo was shared. No one spotted them, but it still happened. As well as in 2021 they shared about how they were practically stuck like glue through the entire time they were in LA (Nov - Dec 2021). Including how they walked together everyday and worked out together everyday. JK Visited Jimins rooms and hung out there all day. And months later, a fan (who happened to be a tkkr since 2014) shared a video of jikook walking into her gym in LA at 3 am to workout alone together. Basically confirming a fan sighting and confirming everything they shared in that vlive as well too. As well as in 2021 (September) they were spotted getting pre travel covid tests done at the same clinic together.

In March 2022, they were spotted by fans out to eat during White Day with a friend, maybe more at a lowkey restaurant. JK also that year shared how when he got out of covid quarantine that he went to Jimins room and got a hug. As well as yoonminkook and staff all went out to eat after the concert in Vegas in 2022, where the waiter who served jikook kept talking about how excited he was to have served jikook, where they sat together at their own table during their closed down restaurant party with drinking and everyone singing lol

So. Out of 10 years of being together as a band. Jikook have been spotted out together by fans approximately 14 times. If we add a few of the others that I included here (which doesn't even scratch the surface of all the times they've shown us how they are always together) that brings us to 25 times they were together that we know of off camera. And again, there is TONS more as well as staff commenting about how jikook are inseparable and literally always together and comments from the two of them about how much time they spend together, etc. You had 3 of those times (2 being a spotted by fans and 1 being told by JK) happen in 2022. And it's technically not even September yet. When in other years, the most frequent year of fan sightings was 2018, in which there were 7 times. And 4 of those times were shared with us by jikook themselves not random spotting. And 4 sightings spread across an entire 12 months, is not THAT much if you actually think about it for the other years to be a drastic decrease like people are saying.

It seems like so much because it is. There is no other BTS duo that has been caught hanging out by fans nearly as much or as often. Nor have any duo told us about hanging out off work/off camera nearly as much or as often. They do, it happens, but not as frequently as our stuck like glue duo. So from 2013 to 2022, there were at least 14 fan sightings of jikook. BUT You recongize that spread over the years, that's a lot of fucking time in between sightings, yes? Good. Glad we are on the same page. I also hope you recongize that during all these years where we got anywhere from zero to 7 jikook sightings of "dates" out and about, they were also being spotted doing things individually as well. Like getting food, going shopping, going on bike rides, seeing concerts. As well as doing those things together with other friends/members and individually with other friends/members. None of that detracts from how often and how close they are. And how they are constantly together. Choosing to spend so much of their free time together. And everytime people lose their minds about it, they make a comment about being "stuck like glue" over that time period.

It's a pattern, and the Rollercoaster of Insecurity has to be as exhausting for everyone else as it is for me. Why be puzzled when it's clear how much time they spend together. Especially when you saw people claiming they grew distant in 2021 (just like they are doing now) and memories proved how they literally were always together and they didn't even know the meaning of the word distance. People need to relax and I'm tired of repeating myself. 😭😅

Anyway. I hope this helped at least a few people recognize that this is just a pattern repeating itself again. And that you get bogged down by content and then confused when content slows down. But Jimin and JK have lives outside of content, which includes their relationship together. And lack of content, does not mean lack of contact between them.

Hey! So I know how mma 2018 is one of the biggest jikook moments. And according to koreans they said something along the lines "what am I to you" since jm pointed to himself and jk. And then jk replied "hyung's boyfriend"...but why would they all of a sudden in the middle of an award show start discussing their relationship with eo? They knew people were recording them...I hope it's not just some fanservice.

Your guesses are as good as mine. I don't know why they were so clingy in that particular award show. I don't know why JM blew him a kiss or why JK was massaging him and giving him finger hearts... even with the lipreading, all we have are guesses (very convincing guesses supported by actual visual evidence lmao... but they're still just guesses)

But regarding fanservice, why would they do THAT kind of fanservice only during THAT year and THAT award show? And for what purpose is that fanservice for? Isn't it just easier to just say JKK are just being themselves there? Because let's be honest, they have cameras on them so much and so often they probably don't even care or remember that they will be fans in the crowd that will be filming them instead of the award show. And if you know JKK, this is very normal behavior for them. It's common knowledge that they're touchy-feely and pretty much shameless even when there's cameras/people around. (the same thing could be said with ALL of the members tbh. when VM was stuck together like glue during the amas last year, does that seem like fanservice to you?)

okay this is smutty but also super cute so like idk where to put it but jimin wears a thong in it so i think the smut category will suffice. a quick read but so worth it, JK is a lowkey sweetheart.

Blood & Chocolate by MyHope (CutesyMe) | Words: 35k | “What if I only want you to sit on my lap?” the stranger asks, which is an odd request. People always want Jimin to dance for them. Only sometimes do they ask of him to just sit on their lap but event hen he has to move in some way and not just sit still.

Jungkook spreads his legs slightly and motions to his lap as if it’s the best seat that has ever been offered to Jimin. “Be my guest.”

so i don’t really know what to say here but i loved their dynamic in this fic?? i love the way JK treats JM in this ahhhh its SMUTTY AF but he still super sweet and protective. There’s sooooome angst but it’s not too bad. Good plot.

1) When Jungkook tries to find reasonable excuses to hold Jimin’s hands (in which he usually succeeds). Example: A decent round of arm wrestling or a hand massage.

2) It’s nice to know Jungkook isn’t the only one who enjoys the occasion; Jimin does too, even comes up with the most absurd idea (like who arm wrestles while sitting 5ft apart? and knowing he will definitely lose?) urm 128 rounds, 128 losses...

3) The way Jimin ruffles Jungkook’s hair, as if to say “You did well, baby. I’m proud of you” or the way Jungkook leans into Jimin’s touch when he pats his hair.

4) When Jimin asked for kisses from Jungkook, but he panicked and jokingly pushed Jimin away, all the while grinning like the shy boy he used to be.

5) The moment Jimin asked for a peck on the cheek on Jungkook’s birthday but Jungkook just smiled at the camera.
