I hate relating to Jimmy from Mouthwashing, not because it would take lots and lots of justification to explain to people that I don't condone his action and am not as fucking crazy as he is (although that does play a part) but mainly because he reminds me so much of all that is morally wrong with me

I too am terribly jealous of successful people, especially if they are in my close circle. I can both look up to them and despise them for having what I think I deserve

I too crave recognition and fame and make it everyone's problem to know that I want more than I already have

I too want control over everything, over my life but also over people, and, when I do, I realize I'm so unfit to be in power

I too dread the consequences of my actions and paint myself as the victim in every scenario, who doesn't ? But taking responsibility is such a hard task and I'm afraid that if I try to say that to people they'll open my eyes and say "No, it's not normal"

I too want everything I don't have and yet do nothing to be worthy of having it

I don't seek comfort or anything of the sort with this post, I just want to say (as I have before) how brilliantly Jimmy is written and how he is a perfect representation of basic human flaws

And yes, relating to him because of that is okay and normal. I am not like him in the slightest but yet we're so similar, and he is the perfect exemple of what I'm afraid to become if I let myself go
