I WILL NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT MBJR OKAY? I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THAT IT H U R TS Warnings: This can be read as platonic or romantic and is dedicated to @melting-morning-blues a fellow MBJR (and naki) simp lol. Probably spoilers....yeah...def spoilers. Also this is sad kinda?

Horobi:

The only time you’re gonna be able to meet Horobi in a positive aspect is after this man has reformed himself. He’s hiding in the shadows of the world now, he’s protecting it in his own way. He’s ensuring the Ark does not come back and he takes his job oh so seriously. He does not need to sleep and is reluctant to ask for help from Aruto (for obvious reasons) or even AIMS. He’s better at asking for help from the other members and his own son but it’s still...um...difficult. 

Your first meeting is that he’s protecting you from an attack somewhere or from a malicious human. It’s a nonlethal blow and Horobi just stands over them and then looks over at you. You know who he is, he was all over the news once upon a time and as he turns to leave, you speak, “Thank you.” it’s honest and sincere and this catches his attention. So he turns to you and asks, “Are you not afraid of me?” and when you shake your head no...Horobi is confused. He was...ya know...not a good person...

“You’re helping now, so there is no need to be afraid of you.” and this shocks him for a good while. He’s deathly silent and his glare could kill people. But he doesn’t speak as he leaves and you are left. But what you don’t know is that Horoboi is secretly following you as you walk to your destination in the dark, wanting to ensure that you’re okay before actually leaving.

You uh...end up meeting him again when he rescues you from yet another fucker. You chuckle and state, “We gotta stop meeting like this.” which causes Horobi to roll his eyes. “It is merely chance, do not get in trouble again.” and then...ya keep meeting again. Whoops. You swear you are not stalking him and he is definitely not stalking you. But it is chance and well...ya better off getting to know this dude anyway.

Ya somehow end up with Horobi on speed dial and you tend to text him about things about your day! He doesn’t respond quickly as he takes his time to come up with the proper responses (sometimes hijacked by Jin who’s happy that his papa has a friend) and sure these responses are dry as hell and he may not fully get things even using the internet...but Horobi is honestly trying. He’s not going to open up right away bit he’ll get there...and he considers you interesting either way...

Naki

The only way to meet Naki is technically through AIMS, especially through Yua. Naki is a homebody at heart and they tend to keep to themselves. They only interact with people when they deem it necessary and other than that, they really only hang with like...Yua and Fuwa? You meet Naki because Yua introduced you to them, in order to consolidate better camaraderie between members. Naki was difficult to get used to, honestly, not because they’re a Humagear but simply because Naki is just very hard to talk to. It’s kinda awkward and silent for a while.

Naki is super professional, however, so it’s difficult to make small talk with them. They’re focused on their work and it’s difficult to mesh with them. However, one thing Naki does enjoy talking about is their dreams and MBJR. Though it is slight, you see this...strange glimmer of artificial light within their eyes when they speak about it. It’s quick and ephemeral, you need to catch it before it dissipates altogether. They’re affectionate towards their comrades, their family...and it’s so sweet to see.

If you all have seen the Zero One anime, you know Naki is...secretly a bit of a lil shit. Ikazuchi did break the rules and Naki is secretly rather competitive and they don’t really notice it until someone has to point it out to them. Naki had been invited to a group party and they started to play games and Naki got super into it and honestly, Naki probably got it from Fuwa...

It takes a long while for Naki to warm up to you, even then communication verbally is sparse. But it helps that you have Yua to help mitigate the tension just a bit. Though, it soon ends up becoming comfortable silence between the two of you as each of you do your own thing. You just pass information to each other in this dance of quaint trust that speaks volumes within the silence. Naki shows it with cues you honestly almost miss. Perhaps small nods and a slight change in the openness of their body language.

Naki whispers a genuine and kind, “Thank you.” to you one day when you had complimented them. It’s robotic a bit but there’s this twinge of gratefulness and lightness to their voice in the end. This soon spirals into asking them to possibly some down time outside of the AIMS office and they accept, perhaps one of the few times they have an actual human friend that isn’t Yaiba or Fuwa...and it’s nice.

Jin

Meeting Jin starts when he finds you repairing a dumped Humagear, after all...it must have belonged to someone and lived out his short life to its fullest. So you wanted to at least give it something. He’s surprised that you are helping, and he eventually helped you bring it to Hiden Aruto who fixed it up real quick! He thanks you of course, and then he is on his way. He’s surprised that you are helping Humagears but knows that they’re aren’t bad humans out there and inwardly, he hopes he gets to see you again.

And then he did. He finds you ending up working for Aruto’s company and meets you again when he visits him! You two get formally introduced by this time and you end up...not really tailing Jin (even though he jokes that you are) but keep on meeting him whenever you work for Aruto. Jin is the only member of MBJR that visits Aruto the most and it’s not a surprise to see him in the president’s office just chatting with him or learning about the happenings of the day. Thus, you kind of end up getting to know him during this time. 

You two end up becoming work buddies and whenever Jin visits, half of it is now to visit  you! It’s like patrol but not really patrol because he’s here to kinda goof-off half of the time. He takes his job seriously but like...there are times when he wants to be himself, and experience things for himself. It’s human-like and childish, yes, but honestly...it’s worth it to see him smile. 

He’s very much the easiest out of all of MBJR to get along with, and soon enough you are pretty much going flower shopping with him. He has a garden back in Daybreak Town and loves finding little whacky pots and new flowers to plant! Hell, if you two go paint flower pots together, he’s over the moon!

Jin is the most receptacle to texts from you and tends to randomly send you texts as well! It’s things like you two exchanging greetings, things about your respective days, where to meet up for a job, where to meet up for another shopping trip, etc! He has come to enjoy hanging out with you and honestly looks forward to it! Expect him to text you in the middle of the night just because he wants to hang or something, lol.

Ikazuchi

You met him when he was still known as Raiden and Subaru was by his side. He was probably sitting in a planetarium at his workplace, mapping out this false map of stars and there’s this twinkle in his eyes like a longing...he’s seen the real thing but sometimes, here on earth...it’s beautiful to see them plastered on to a simple ceiling. He hears you and wonders if you had gotten lost, laughing if you are and trying to take you back. 

He introduces himself as Raiden and you two spend time talking about the stars and planets. As he has spent so much time up there, he tells you about the beauty of it, how small everything was from his point of view. He knows you cannot see it but ends up giving you photos he had snapped while up there. “For a keepsake.” and he gives you a playful wink and ruffles your hair. “See you around, some day!” You visit him often now, wanting to learn more, understand more, and are magnetized to his energy...

When he is destroyed as Ikazuchi, you go to spend time with Subaru now...in mourning, perhaps. You two have gotten closer since meeting with Raiden and it’s this silent moment between the two of you as Subaru is processing his grief. It’s a new emotion for him and he can’t shed tears but it’s these sobs that threaten to tear out his sensors and voice box and he clings to you tighter than ever. You can’t do much but just hold him...

When he comes back as Ikazuchi, it’s awkward but you ran up to him with the brightest sparkles in your eyes and almost tackled him into a hug. “You’re back! You’re back Raiden!” and he stiffens. He hesitates to embrace back but pushes you away and tells you, “I’m...part of Metsuboujinrai...you’re not scared?” and you answer him no...because...why would that make a difference??? If Ikaika could cry, he would have.

Ikazuchi spends equal times with MBJR and equal times with Subaru and you now. You tend to visit him at the space center of course as he returns to working there. But he spends a lot more time down to earth (ha) now. This means he’s up for like random lil hang outs and dumb shit to do together. Fuwa sometimes checks on y’all as does Aruto and one of these days you and Ikazuchi are legit gonna disappear because you two stole a car and are going on a road trip-

First of all, JIMIN is literally a unisex name which is especially given for baby girls in SK. So there's no need to add anything to make it more girly lmao. His name is commonly used by girls anyway.. we have many girl idols named Jimin but uses stage names because JIMIN is owned by mimi 🤷‍♀️

Second, people really think saying he looks like a woman is offensive ? The same person who asked 'what the heck is men ?', Regularly wears women clothing, drew a bigender tattoo on himself, thinks he looks beautiful when dressed as a girl, calls himself pretty, pretite and delicate, chose modern dance and ballet as his major which are not commonly done by men and is frowned upon in SK, repeated he's NOT manly multiple times in a single interview, likes to keep his body dainty, want to make his booty even bigger, used a woman as his reflection and is VERY fluid with his gender identity representation 🙄🙄 More than anyone else Jimin knows his feminine side and fucking embrace it proudly

If him, his dad and mom, his partner, his members, his freinds and his stans doesn't have a single problem with him not being the usual 'manly' guy then who tf have a problem with how he carries himself ?

Kazujun headcanon (made for the holidays ver)

I kept this one with me for so long since I thought it fits the holidays season.

Kazuya and Jun definitely got matching sneaker shoes

We all know how Kazuya is a sneakerhead and most ppl collectively hced (ironically and unironically) that Jun once got to visit Kazuya's sneaker collection vault.

At first, it left Jun distasteful as she thought the numbers of shoes that are unworn could've easily been donated to a good cause and gifted to less fortunate people around the world who could really need just one usable pair.

But seeing how enthusiastic Kazuya was with the collection, Jun settled and let it pass. She followed him around the vault as he mansplained about some of his favorites from his collections and the struggles he had to put up with trying to get some of the limited editions.

At some point, Kazuya was becoming aware of how much time he was consuming just talking about sneaker stuff with Jun and he couldn't help but feel a little conscious (something new he thought he would never feel at all) if Jun was getting bored. He didn't wanna ask outright if she was getting bored, not that he cared (he insisted in his thoughts, being the dense guy he is).

To make it more engaging with Jun, he asked if she found anything nice. Jun pointed to a plain white design which she said was her favorite among the collection. She never thought something so simple can stand out among the wide collection of colors, but its simplicity just captured her attention as she thought the design looked timeless.

Kazuya thought about it for a long time until one day, he actually did go and order a pair of the same design in Jun's size. He gifted the sneakers to her and Jun loved it (it was her first time wearing sneakers as she always just wore slip ons, flats, leather shoes, heels, and sandals as footwear).

But Jun went on and teased Kazuya how much lovelier it would be if he could also wear his pair so they could match. Kaz ofc scoffed at that bc there was no way it was gonna happen, he didn't wanna ruin his collection.

(The same day, he ordered the same design in his size and put the newly purchased white sneakers on his collection, while he took the old pair and started wearing it as Jun suggested)

Additional stuff:

Aside from having Jin, I'd like to think this pair of white sneakers is one of the stuff that was left with Jun which reminded her of Kaz. She brought it with her all the way to Yakushima, stored it in a storage rack and never used it again in fear of getting it damaged, she of course didn't want to lose it.

As a result, Jin had always grown curious why his mom never wore the pair, but it's whatever.

Dead Friend Forever ep 12 initial reaction

It’s over am I happy? Not particularly. It is interesting though. Let’s go over it and then I’ll make my rating post for the whole series

Disclaimer upfront I get triggered by blood so I did watch some scenes with my hands covering the top of the scene so maybe I missed things.

Okay so let’s get into the ep

I find it interesting that Top, Jin, and Fluke all include their ‘friends’ in their hallucinations. While White, Phee, Tee are more self solo focused. I imagine if Por was alive his nightmare scenario would be group based because he wanted to be cool or if it was solo maybe it would be man he’s a really big asshole personality wise. Probably good he didn’t live to this last scene would have been redundant or abhorrent.

So Fluke was afraid of being bullied by Top and Tee. He never really felt a hundred percent with the group. I find it telling that Por and Non convince him to take his eyes out because people felt like he had no guilt for both of their deaths. Realistically if Fluke had stood up to Top and Tee when the camera got broken I do think because Fluke and Por were good friends Por might have believed Fluke over Top but maybe not. Por was an asshole. But him doing anything in the other scenes won’t have really helped. He didn’t have any power in the group dynamic. He wasn’t even particularly close to Jin the reason they both found non and the teacher was because they were in the same class.

I started to get suspicious we might be in dream sess for Top’s he’ll scape. 1 idk how he is still alive 2 he’s still very much on drugs anyways. Also the fear of being betrayed by his friends them not listening to him was an interesting motivation. We saying top was a people pleaser I guess? Idk I wanted more from his character. Did find it poetic he and Fluke offed each other when their fears were so routed in their friendships their bonds. Then that’s what threw them down the stairs.

Tee 😭😭😭😭 even in the nightmare trying to help Non over and over trying to give him hope. Trying to do all that he could. Trapped and trying his best. Shows that he deeply fundamentally didn’t want to be a bad guy. A caged animal tortured animal doesn’t run when you open the cage you have to show it the way out first. I think Tee was hoping seeing Non escape would mean he could go for his freedom too. I cried during his and White’s scene. Also how beautiful are they? I hope Tee survives

Once again I think something bad happened to White to make him feel like he’s dirty that he’s automatically a slut for making friends. Yes Tee gets jealous but I won’t say it’s abnormally so White puts that pressure on himself. He desperately wanted to be Tee’s above all else a very sweet motivator. I once again cried watching what happened. I’m glad Tan had second doubts about his death at least.

Jin stalker/unhealthy obsession? Idk it’s just what the TV imagery and the cell phones make me think of Because my mind goes to BTS Suga’s solo MV for Shadow. Jin’s certainly ashamed of what he did. He also had his friends in there saying he was scared they’d hate me. Very interesting. Jin is MAJORLY insecure. He values his perception and hates who he really is and the pleasure he desires. I was disappointed to see him still alive but then again if he had that injury I was curious if he would survive just based on blood loss to the hospital. Really really hated the visuals on that so… maybe I missed something

Found it heartbreaking that New’s Non was a good little brother. Ugh I can’t imagine losing my sister and this scene really hurts. That New has done all this shit but deep down he knows what New really felt about him and New’s scared he’s done the wrong thing.

Found it sus we see New die of a gut injury when the shot hit his shoulder. But was sweet that Non came back to thank him in his head. A good end although doubting it happened.

Wow Jin being the human one in this scene of the future. I guess he’d be an idealized version of Jin.

Uhhhhh yes? In that Tee would need to accept what happened and seek help. But also no? Phee showing his double standard here. Phee didn’t you just learn you would have been there for Non if you could? Well if Tee was suffering like that Phee you should visit him even if it’s hard it’d be his duty. Phee is partly responsible for what happened. Phee you can care about people you ain’t fucking and or their family members. It’s okay to have friends naturally and support them.

Season 2!!!! Big reveal? So how much of this ep was a dream?? Whole thing? From when new used the gas? I also wonder would New’s protections for himself actually work? Yes he has those cure smoke things but the nightmare stuff is still in everything. I would like it if maybe Non had survived and some how drugged them all? I don’t think he did but 9th person Mr Keng? Non? White? Steps in and all of this outcome has been Phee’s interpretation of the truth ep 12? Maybe idk. I can’t wait for season 2

Of course, I love me some older sisters dressed in purple. I feel very strongly that if I could get my brother to cosplay Jiang Cheng, he would be perfect. Alas, I have many suitable Jiang Cheng cosplaying friends and even a few Jing Lings that I definitely wanted to be Yanli for. (There needs to be more Yanli; she's too precious.)

Bought the costume, wig, fan, and shoes from AliExpress seller Wong Fu Rong Garment Store. I actually bought her teen-styled wig (which I love) but I restyled it to be more like her adult one (left it braided, but gathered the two bits together in the middle as opposed to the sides and used Bobby pins to part them). I used lotus hair clips instead of gold ones, and my shoes were supposed to be a light purple but showed up WHITE, so I custom dyed them! I'm very happy with how they came out. You can see my WIP progress here!

I've owned my bunny soup bowl for eons, but I bought my Jin Ling baby doll and swaddle from Amazon!

I really like her Q outfit, which is a bit more ambiguous, so I might make that later on!

 ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  Hyunjae. o chamar aveludado contra seu ouvido levou-o a estremecer. As lâmpadas do ateliê estavam apagadas, a única fonte de luz sendo os feixes rosáceos do crepúsculo adentrando o cômodo pelas persianas entreabertas. Estavam escondidos na penumbra, as curvas suaves da garota, rememorando-o das linhas rígidas do corpo de outro; embora os lábios de Han Jin não fossem tão macios quanto os daquele com quem Song Hyunjae anelava estar com. Mas nunca mais poderia. Apertou-a contra o próprio corpo, submergindo na sensação, se iludindo que estava cercado pela algidez dum quartinho decrépito; que a calidez do corpo dele era sua única fonte de quentura. Sua lifeline. Costumavam se encontrar em motéis desolados ou no goshiwon abatido em que ele residira — o mesmo lugar onde Hyunjae encontrara seu corpo caído. Onde o deixara apodrecer, até outra pessoa o encontrar; porque ninguém poderia descobrir seu segredo. "Já deu." Murmurou ofegante, deixando as mãos caírem do quadril da mulher. Contudo, Han Jin não deixou de se mover, tentando sussurrá-lo palavras doces para que continuasse. Mas seu humor estava arruinado. "Porra, que parte você não entendeu? Já chega!" levantou o tom, empurrando a perna dela sem gentilezas. Por fim, Han Jin saiu de cima de si, sentando-se ao seu lado na mesa, derrubando algumas das latinhas de tinta.

 ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  Fechou as pálpebras com força, massageando o espaço entre seus olhos. Imagens corriam por sua mente, borrões que causavam pulsões nas extremidades de sua cabeça. A mulher resmungava manhosamente, o comparando com o namorado advogado numa patética tentativa de desperta-lhe ciúmes. Bufou em escárnio, reabrindo os olhos. “Se as duas pessoas com quem você sai não parecem interessadas, está na hora de considerar que você é o problema, Han Jin.” disse rispidamente, refazendo os botões da calça. Seu desinteresse nada tinha a ver com a performance dela e, outrora, a tática barata poderia ter funcionado. Entretanto, há muito, Han Jin deixara de ocupar seus pensamentos durante as madrugadas, de roubar suas noites de sono, ser o objeto de seus desejos. Caminhou com lentidão até a pia metálica, pousando as mãos em concha debaixo da água gélida. Você é um covarde, Hyunjae. As lembranças do último dia em que haviam passado juntos ecoaram em sua mente, então, afundou o rosto na água. Nos últimos meses, aquela cena era a única que recordava com vividez — as palavras dele, as próprias… suas recordações daquele dia, de todos os anos em que agira como um idiota. Não, não um idiota. Não havia um adjetivo para o que ele era. Retirou o rosto da água, deixando-a escorrer por entre seus dedos, e respirou profundamente. Os resmungos de Han Jin haviam se tornado white noise, distante e incompreensível. Covarde. Patético. ‘E o que isso faz de você, então?’, perguntara com chasco e escárnio, ‘all those scars and you still come and taste me. You’re just like a worthless wretched dog …who else will want you? …you should just die.'

 ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  “Ya, Song Hyunjae. Cadê você?”  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  O súbito som da voz animada de Jaeyoung invadiu o cômodo, juntamente das risadas dos outros amigos. Encarou o grupinho de soslaio, encontrando o garoto parado à porta, seus lábios se abrindo num sorriso quando encontrou seus olhos. “Nós te trouxemos um presente.” ele assoviou, então, Minsoo entrou de costas, ao risos segurando o celular, apontando para algo no corredor; então, um vulto atravessou a porta, caindo no chão do ateliê com um paft. Por fim, Mingi adentrou, desferindo um segundo chute nas costas do desconhecido.  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  “Não tenho tempo para isso hoje.” desconversou em baixo tom, desviando a atenção, fechando a torneira da pia. As atividades que costumava entretê-lo e seus amigos… as coisas que fizera para Park Taerim — desde a morte deste, não conseguira desferir as mesmas palavras cruéis que um dia direcionara a ele e tantos outros; não conseguia encontrar nada além de desgosto ao pensar em repetir suas ações passadas. Conseguiu ouvir a risada sarcástica em sua mente, Song Hyunjae tem uma consciência? Essa é novidade. Suspirou, enxugando o rosto com a manga da camisa.  

 ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  Você anda muito pra baixo, cara. Jaeyoung passou o braço entorno de seus ombros, o apertando. Mas isso vai te animar. O garoto gesticulou para que os outros se aproximassem, e Mingi arrastou o desconhecido pela gola da camisa, o jogando em frente aos seus pés. Então, Jaeyoung levantou o rosto dele para que Hyunjae pudesse vê-lo. “Vê a semelhança? Ele é irmão do Taerim.”  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  De verdade? Oh, daebak!. Han Jin se aproximou, abaixando o corpo para avaliar o outro. “Pois é, eu mesmo quase não acreditei.” Jaeyoung respondeu, rindo. “É tão desprezível quanto o irmão. Hey, você sempre gostou do Taerim. Agora você tem um novo brinquedo.”  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  Hey, Taerim dois, me desculpe não aparecer no funeral do seu irmão, hm? eu tinha manicure marcada. Eu ouvi dizer que eles não tinham nem dinheiro para os incensos. Ah… isso é tão triste.

 ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  As palavras e risadas de seus amigos se tornaram ruídos, sua atenção recaída sobre a figura no chão. Os outros estavam distraídos demais para perceber suas pálpebras arregaladas, como os pelos de seus braços e nuca haviam se arrepiado, a maneira como suas mãos tremiam levemente. Hyunjae conseguia ouvir seus batimentos cardíacos em seus tímpanos, sua respiração rala.  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  “Deem o fora.” suas palavras saíram baixas, mas todos o olharam com risos nos lábios. O que você disse, cara?. Hyunjae engoliu em seco, então, levantou o rosto; sua expressão resoluta e desprovida das emoções que haviam estado ali no segundo anterior. “Deem o fora.” repetiu, alto e resoluto. “Você disse que era meu presente, não? Então saíam daqui.”  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  Mingi protestou, dizendo alguma coisa sobre compartilhar a diversão, mas, somente uma olhada sua e o garoto se calou. Jaeyoung os apressou para fora com o mesmo sorriso com o qual entrara, pedindo para que o avisasse quando tivesse terminado para que pudessem “levá-lo para o karaokê” — era o que faziam com seus brinquedos. Bebidas, algumas drogas e uma sala privada num karaokê próximo da universidade. Esse aí tem potencial, hein.  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  ‎‏‏‎  Assim que os amigos saíram, Hyunjae trancou a porta do ateliê. As luzes ainda estavam apagadas, e o poente banhava o cômodo num pálido gradiente de azuis. Caminhou com lentidão até o desconhecido, observando-o. ‎"Você…" começou, sua voz deixando seus lábios num sussurro, "… é realmente irmão do Taerim?"
