Something I did not notice playing the original but am aware of now is that hair options are tied to your selected base.

For male characters, that means if you want to get hair that just pretends to be long, you need to pick one of the more mature models, as young men apparently can't have long hair as per NLA laws or whatever.

Why must developers be allergic to allowing male characters in character creators to just have good long haired options?

I have learned how to commit insurance fraud and get infinite Skell replacements.

I have also discovered what one might consider to be a pretty homophobic side quest.

Either way, I've beaten chapter 8, and now don't feel too bad about having been spoiled on a certain traitor, given how the game is basically banging a big gong and yelling it out.
