just a small post of admiration.  i simply love the dynamic between the cursed spirits and feel like among their small group Jogo and Hanami had the deepest connection. they both were quite old earth-based curses, who seemed to know each other pretty well and for very long time. they felt to be kind of good friends, despite their differences. at least, that was the impression from Jogo’s sincerity in his last moments and from his natural panic reactions while fighting Gojo.  it’s a pity he had a bit of time to mourn Dagon, but he had no time at all either to help or to mourn Hanami properly

holding them accountable
canon divergence
rating: G
in my defense, this gave me brain worms.
____________
The smell of burning plastic made Yuuji scrunch his nose. A moment later it reached Hanami, who'd been plating bushes around the paths, and the curse instantly dropped the soil bag it was holding.
It looked around and pinpointed the source of the smell. Then took off towards it. Yuuji followed, afraid there would be trouble. Others though so too, Chousou followed him obviously, but Uraume also came.
"Which one of you fools set fire to the trash!?" Projected directly into Yuuji's brain, oh how he hates that feeling. Hanami, though eyeless, was staring down Jougo and Sukuna.
Yuuji realised that the two of them, plus Kenjaku and Mahito had gone to load the trash bags onto the van. They'd gone at least an hour ago, considering how much Yuuji's playlist'd moved since then.
They didn't even reach the van, the bags were lying right there, now soaking wet because Dagon put them out.
"Do you not comprehend how disastrous it is for the environment?" Hanami was fuming.
Sukuna was smiling wickedly, one of his eyes was glancing ad Jougo. The volcano head was sweating.
"Me, it was me," he said.
Hanami turned on their heel and left, the "how could you" remained unspoken but painfully clear. Dagon went after the nature curse to sooth them.
"See what you did Jougo?" Mahito poked fun at the other curse who looked surprisingly affected.
"My, my, Mahito, that set back his prospects considerably." Kenjaku's voice was amused, they were not feeling bad about this whole thing in the slightest.
Yuuji's own mother! He felt ashamed.
"How can you be like this!?" He yelled looking at Kenjaku but when he heard Sukuna snicker he moved his accusatory gaze from Sukuna to Mahito, back to Kenjaku.
"Because it's fun, brat."
"Isn't he your friend?!"
"So?" Mahito shrugged.
"I don't have friends," Sukuna said but corrected himself quickly. "Apart from Uraume because they understand how jokes work."
Indeed, Uraume looked amused by the whole thing.
"These are my associates." Kenjaku went for a casual tone but the stink eye they gave Sukuna and Uraume told Yuuji that his mother wished it was something more. "I have only one friend, your step dad, son."
"Unbelievable, you're all absolutely awful!" Yuuji was shaking, he knew they were all villains but to this extent? He felt Chousou's hand on his shoulder.
"Quit your pathetic whining, brat." Sukuna said. "Why are you even here? You were judged innocent."
"I..." Yuuji came with Chousou. It didn't feel right to him that his brother got community service and he didn't.
Mahito and Sukuna started laughing while Jougo snuck away to try to apologise to Hanami.
"I think it's impressive how much of the fence you've already painted, I'm curious to see you develop." Kenjaku said.
"What is this break?" Kusakabe yelled from behind Yuuji. "This will be added to your sentence! Now clean up this stinking mess!"

Gojo stormed through the hallways of the college, his anxiety growing with each passing moment. The bounty on Y/N’s head had ignited a storm within him. He’d tried to remain calm, to use the information to his advantage, but the thought of her being in danger gnawed at him relentlessly. His fingers twisted the engagement ring he wore—something he had hoped would symbolize their bond but now felt like a cruel reminder of his failure to protect her.
“Damn it, where are you?” Gojo muttered under his breath, his voice echoing off the empty walls. He had checked all the places Y/N frequented, all the locations he thought she might be. His frustration grew, turning into a frantic search. He had even asked a few students if they had seen her, but they all shook their heads in confusion.
His usually cool demeanor was slipping. He was on the verge of a breakdown, his eyes scanning every corner, every shadow, every person that crossed his path. He nearly collided with a passing student(Megumi), barely managing to apologize before darting off again.
The campus garden, a place he had overlooked in his panic, came into view as he rounded a corner. The serene, almost whimsical atmosphere of the garden seemed out of place amid his current turmoil. It was a quiet oasis, the kind of place where students came to relax, study, or simply escape the pressures of academic life.
Gojo’s breath came out in short, sharp bursts. He had to find her. He couldn’t let anything happen to her. He ran through the garden, his mind racing, his heart pounding. He felt a pang of guilt; he had been so preoccupied with his own worries that he hadn’t considered Y/N might be simply taking a break, seeking refuge from the chaos.
As he pushed through the garden’s dense foliage, he finally spotted her. Relief washed over him as he saw Y/N sleeping soundly beneath a large tree, her form curled up comfortably on the grass. The gentle rustling of the leaves and the soft rays of sunlight filtering through the branches created an almost ethereal scene.
Gojo froze, staring at her with a mixture of awe and exasperation. How had he not thought to check here? The tranquil setting was a stark contrast to his frenzied state, and for a moment, he simply stood there, allowing himself to breathe deeply and steady his racing heart.
He approached slowly, making sure not to disturb her. His eyes softened as he looked down at Y/N, her face serene and peaceful in sleep. His heart ached with a conflicting mix of relief and frustration. He wanted to wake her, to confront her about the danger she was in, but he knew better than to disrupt her rest.
Sitting down a few feet away, Gojo took a seat on the grass, his gaze never leaving Y/N. His fingers continued to twist the engagement ring, his mind racing with the implications of the bounty and what it meant for their future. He realized, with a sinking feeling, that he needed to keep her close, to ensure her safety and, if necessary, to use the situation to fortify their bond. But for now, all he could do was watch over her, waiting for her to wake up so he could talk to her about the bounty and the urgent need to discuss their plans. He resolved that he would handle everything once she was awake, his thoughts already shifting to how best to protect her from the dangers lurking in the shadows.

The hot spring was an unusual setting for serious conversation, but for the curses, it was the perfect backdrop. Jougo lounged in the steaming water, savoring the tranquility while puffing on his pipe. The relaxed ambiance was abruptly disrupted by Mahito’s exuberant arrival.
Mahito splashed into the hot spring with a playful leap, causing Jougo to frown and scowl at the disturbance. "Tsk…"
Mahito, seemingly undeterred by Jougo's reaction, chuckled with a hint of mischief. "Looks like most of your body’s back," he remarked, his voice filled with satisfaction.
Jougo grunted in acknowledgment. "Yeah, this place is relaxing. Humans don’t come anywhere near it."
Mahito’s mood shifted as he emerged from the water, a serious expression replacing his earlier cheerfulness. "Lacking a body really is a problem. It makes self-preservation so inefficient."
Jougo’s eyes narrowed as he studied Mahito. "You’re awfully worn down yourself."
Mahito shrugged nonchalantly. "Oh, you could tell? Sukuna and his vessel are my natural enemies. I started this game because I happened to acquire a new toy, but it just didn’t go so well. It was great at first, though."
Jougo pondered Mahito’s words with a thoughtful frown. "Are you sure I shouldn’t have just used a hostage to force him into a pact? Like, ‘Hand your body over to Sukuna if you don’t want to see him killed.’"
Itadori’s imagined rage flared in Mahito’s thoughts. "No, pacts are only placed by oneself on oneself. It’s not easy to forget pacts with others or due to intervention from others."
Mahito mused aloud, "Maybe I should have just given that thing a lethal wound instead of transfiguring it. Then Sukuna might have been able to heal it with his reverse cursed technique."
A flashback of Sukuna’s dismissive comment echoed in Mahito’s mind. "Know your place, fool."
Mahito shook his head, dismissing the thought. "No, not with that personality. I think he would have refused either way."
He climbed out of the hot spring, dripping with water. "Jougo… Touching Sukuna made me realize that we should probably proceed with Getou’s plan for now. Sukuna is that valuable."
Jougo’s eyes glinted with a renewed sense of purpose. "Gather all the fingers and offer them to Sukuna, huh? Even if we’re all wiped out in the process, eh? Very well. I don’t need to be the one laughing in the wasteland a century from now. As long as curses stand there as people, that’s all that matters."
Mahito’s grin widened. "Oh, you get it!"
Kenjaku, who had been quietly observing, spoke up. "Then first, let’s go retrieve the six fingers Jujutsu Tech has."
Jougo raised an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. "Is that necessary? The sorcerers are only keeping Itadori Yuuji around so he can take in Sukuna’s fingers, right? He’ll still eat them, even if we leave them be."
Kenjaku’s gaze was inscrutable. "The higher-ups at Jujutsu Tech are struggling to measure Itadori Yuuji’s strength as a vessel to see how many he can take before he goes berserk. They won’t let him take them in until they’ve gathered all the fingers… with just one exception."
Gojo’s imagined voice echoed with determination. "I want to feed them to him right away!"
Kenjaku continued, unperturbed. "And we can’t wait that long, right? Worst case, there’s also a chance they’ll eliminate Itadori Yuuji."
Jougo smirked. "Into the tiger’s den, huh? Well, what should we do, then?"
Kenjaku nodded with a hint of satisfaction. "I’ve already taken steps. That’s why I allowed Jujutsu Tech to retrieve the fingers we had."
༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥❀༺♥༺♥༻
In the lobby at Jujutsu Tech, Gojo lounged in a state of utter boredom. Nanami was absorbed in his newspaper, trying to escape Gojo’s incessant attempts at amusement.
Gojo broke the silence with a dramatic flourish. "Nanami, talk about something interesting."
Nanami barely looked up, his patience wearing thin. "Phew…"
Gojo’s face lit up with a mischievous grin. "Okay, I’ve got it! Let’s play catch with discarded rice balls while discussing the separation of church and state! Let’s post a video of it and troll people!"
Nanami sighed deeply. "Enjoy that on your own."
Gojo shrugged, unfazed. "Drinking game time! Name things you love about Gojo Satoru!"
Nanami, his frustration palpable, muttered under his breath, "Everything!"
Gojo, oblivious to Nanami’s discontent, continued with his antics. "Please keep that attitude going. Itadori-kun needs that kind of idiocy right now."
Nanami’s thoughts were dark. "What kind of idea is that?"
Gojo, changing the subject abruptly, pondered, "Nanami, does Yuuji know about that finger in Yoshino’s --"
Nanami interrupted, "I haven’t told him. Knowing him, he’d just feel unnecessarily responsible."
Gojo, still lost in his own world, said, "I’m glad I left you in charge. And the finger?"
Nanami replied, "I submitted it to the higher-ups, of course. If I gave it to you, you’d just feed it to Itadori-kun, right?"
Gojo pouted. "Tsk…"
Nanami raised a valid concern. "But is it really okay to bring him back? If the fact that he’s alive becomes known at the Exchange Event, won’t the higher-ups just target him again?"
Gojo’s confidence was unwavering. "Even if they do, Yuuji will be just fine now. You know that better than anyone, don’t you?"
Nanami could only sigh. "Haa…"
At that moment, Itadori burst into the room, radiating excitement. "Ah! Sensei! Oh, Nanami’s here, too. Well, come on! Let’s hurry up and go see everyone! So excited! So excited! So excited! So excited!"
Gojo, grinning widely, seized the opportunity. "Yuuji, are you planning to just show up like normal after dragging it out this long?"
Itadori looked puzzled. "Huh? I can’t?"
Gojo’s grin widened, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Even among sorcerers, you rarely see someone say they’ve actually been alive two whole months after they died. We have to make it a surprise!"
Itadori’s confusion deepened. "A surprise?"
Gojo’s imagination ran wild. "The first-years will be laughing and crying from happiness and shock…"
Fushiguro’s imagined reaction was full of disbelief. "You’re alive…"
Kugisaki’s imagined voice was filled with relief. "I’m so glad!"
Gojo continued, "… and the second-years and Kyoto students will cry with them, and someone among them will choke up and vomit…"
Kugisaki’s imagined reaction turned into nausea. "Thank goodness! Thank goodness! Blegh! Blegh!"
Gojo’s enthusiasm was unabated. "… and in the end, it’ll even solve global warming!"
Itadori, finally catching on, was excited. "Sweet! What do I do?! Sensei, what should I do?!"
Gojo’s advice was simple and direct. "You don’t have to do anything! Just do exactly as I say and go with the flow!"
Itadori, eager to comply, asked, "So what should I do?"
Nanami, looking on with a mix of amusement and exasperation, concluded, "It’ll be enough of a surprise just to see he’s alive."
༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥❀༺♥༺♥༻
Kugisaki’s frustration was palpable as she dropped her travel magazine, her eyes narrowing at the empty-handed group. “Wha… Why are you all empty-handed?”
Panda, looking bewildered, scratched his head. “Huh?”
Kugisaki continued, her voice tinged with growing annoyance. “What do you mean? We’re going to Kyoto, right? For the Exchange Event with our sister school in Kyoto?”
Panda’s confusion deepened. “It’s an exchange event with our sister school in Kyoto, held in Tokyo.”
Kugisaki’s eyes widened in horror. “No way!”
Maki’s realization seemed to dawn slowly. “No wonder our conversations have been a bit off lately.”
Fushiguro nodded, his face showing the same dawning comprehension. “Yeah.”
Inumaki, always the man of few words, added nonchalantly, “Salmon.”
Kugisaki’s frustration turned to a new target as she grabbed Panda’s collar. “Then don’t go winning, you idiots!”
Panda, startled, stammered, “We weren’t in it last year! Only Yuuta participated to make the numbers match up!”
Maki interjected, “That was prior to freeing Rika. Apparently, it was an overwhelming win. I didn’t see it, though, since it was held in Kyoto.”
Kugisaki fumed, “I won’t forgive you, Okkotsu Yuuta! Not that I’ve ever even met you!”
Panda, visibly uncomfortable, muttered, “That’s misdirected anger.”
Inumaki nodded, his monotone voice repeating, “Salmon.”
Just then, the Kyoto students arrived, their presence commanding attention. Maki greeted them with a nod. “Hey. They’re here.”
Mai, with her usual disdain, remarked, “Oh, look. It’s everyone from Tokyo together. You went out of your way to greet us? Disgusting.”
Toudou, glancing around, noted, “Okkotsu’s not here.”
Kugisaki snapped, “Shut up. Hurry up and hand over the cake box, and the yatsuhashi, kudzu noodles, and buckwheat noodles.”
Inumaki, in his usual fashion, said, “Salmon.”
Toudou looked amused. “You guys hungry?”
Nishimiya, observing the scene, whispered to Mechamaru, “Who is that first-year? She’s scary.”
Mechamaru, with his robotic demeanor, added, “Never mind Okkotsu being absent. Isn’t having two first-years a major handicap?”
Kugisaki’s eyes widened at the sight of Mechamaru. “A robot! It’s a robot!”
Kamo, with a hint of annoyance, countered, “Age is irrelevant to jujutsu sorcerers. Especially with Fushiguro-kun. He’s from the Zenin bloodline, but he’s more talented than the head of the clan.”
Mai, with a scoff, replied, “Tsk…”
Kamo’s patience wore thin. “Something to say?”
Mai simply said, “Nope.”
Miwa, trying to mediate, said, “Now, now… Please calm down, you two.”
Iori walked up the steps, taking charge of the situation. “Okay, now. Let’s not fight amongst ourselves. My goodness, these children.”
Just then, Gojo arrived, pushing a cart with a box on it. “Sorry for the wait!”
Iori’s irritation flared. “Tsk… Gojo Satoru.”
Miwa, her eyes widened in recognition, thought, “Gojo Satoru!”
Gojo, seemingly oblivious to the tension, grinned widely. “Hey, I see everyone’s together! I was on a business trip overseas, so I will not hand out souvenirs!”
Panda, surprised, said, “This is sudden.”
Kugisaki, with a skeptical look, asked, “You sure it’s not jet lag?”
Gojo began handing out charms, his enthusiasm unabated. “Okay, everyone from Kyoto gets this protective charm from a particular tribe.”
Toudou raised an eyebrow. “Hm?”
Gojo continued, “None for you, Utahime.”
Miwa, observing the scene, marveled, “Wow…”
Iori, crossing his arms, said firmly, “I don’t need one!”
Gojo, with a mischievous glint in his eye, added, “And for everyone from Tokyo, we have this!”
Kugisaki, unimpressed, muttered, “Overly excited adults are creepy.”
As the box on Gojo’s cart opened, Itadori popped out with an exuberant shout, “Hey! OPP!”
The room erupted in shock and confusion. “It’s your departed friend, Itadori Yuuji-kun!” Gojo announced triumphantly.
Fushiguro and Kugisaki, eyes wide with disbelief, gasped, “Ahh…”
Itadori, confused by the lack of enthusiasm, thought, “Huh?! They don’t seem happy at all!”
Gojo, with a triumphant grin, declared, “Okay, everyone from Kyoto! This is Sukuna’s vessel, Itadori Yuuji-kun!”
Itadori, overwhelmed, thought, “N-No way…”
Gakuganji, stunned and angry, demanded, “Sukuna’s vessel?! What’s the meaning of this?”
Gojo, unfazed, replied, “Ah… Principal Gakuganji! Oh, thank goodness. I was worried you might just die from the shock.”
Gakuganji’s fury was evident as he shouted, “You damn brat!”
Gojo’s laughter echoed through the room as he reveled in the chaos he had created. “Fufufufu… Fufufufu…”
Kugisaki, her frustration boiling over, kicked Itadori’s box with a loud thud. “Hey.”
Itadori, startled, looked up and asked, “Uh, yes?”
Kugisaki, her anger barely contained, demanded, “You got something to say?”
Itadori, nervous and apologetic, responded, “I’m sorry for keeping quiet about being alive…”
As the room buzzed with a mixture of shock, confusion, and awkwardness, the true nature of the surprise slowly began to sink in.
༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥❀༺♥༺♥༻
The Tokyo-Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event was upon them. The anticipation buzzed in the air as students from both schools gathered, brimming with competitive spirit and curiosity. At Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical College, Yaga stood at the forefront, addressing the eager crowd.
"The Tokyo-Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event will be held over two days," Yaga announced, his voice clear and authoritative. "The first day is a group battle… The Wacky Cursed Spirit Exorcism Race!"
A murmur of excitement rippled through the students. Yaga continued, "The rules are simple. The first team to exorcize the second-grade cursed spirit released in the area wins. Several third-grade and lower cursed spirits will be released into the designated area as well. If a winner is not decided by sundown, the team that exorcizes the most wins. There are absolutely no other rules."
The students listened intently, absorbing every detail. Yaga added with a smirk, "Of course, you’re welcome to sabotage the others, but remember, you’re all on the same side in the fight against the curses."
The room fell into a mix of enthusiasm and strategic planning. "This Exchange Event will allow you to learn about yourselves and your comrades through competition," Yaga concluded.
Gojo, who had been struggling against Yaga’s hold, let out a frustrated grunt. “Ngh…”
Yaga turned to him, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Be certain not to kill other competitors or injure them beyond recovery."
Iori, who had been quietly observing, chuckled. "Fufufu… Fufu…”
Yaga dismissed the group with a wave. “That’s it. You’re all dismissed until the event commences at noon!”
Later, in a meeting room, the Tokyo students gathered to strategize. Itadori, holding a funeral photo frame around his head, looked a bit out of place. “Um… Depending on how you look at it, this could be considered very extreme bullying.”
Kugisaki shot him a sharp look. “Shut up and stay that way for a while.”
Panda, trying to defuse the tension, said, “Now, now… You heard his explanation. Cut him some slack.”
Itadori’s eyes widened in surprise. “The panda talked!”
Inumaki, with his usual subdued tone, added, “Salmon, salmon.”
Itadori was puzzled. “What?”
Fushiguro took the opportunity to explain. “Inumaki-senpai is a cursed speech user. Cursed speech is a technique that amplifies the power and compulsion of words. He limits his vocabulary to keep others safe.”
Itadori’s eyes widened further. “So if he told someone to go die, they’d actually die? That’s really powerful.”
Panda shook his head. “It’s nothing that convenient. It’s all case by case, depending on their difference in strength. If he uses powerful words, he’s hit with massive feedback. Worst case, it would affect him. Limiting his vocabulary is a way for Toge to protect himself, as well.”
Itadori, ever curious, asked, “Oh? So how are you able to speak, Senpai? Are you some new breed of panda?”
Kugisaki, clearly irritated, chimed in, “Blabbing on about people’s techniques…”
Maki, cutting through the chatter, said, “It’s fine. Toge’s isn’t that kind of technique, anyway. More importantly, Yuuji…”
Itadori looked up, confused. “Huh?”
Maki’s tone turned serious. “Give me back Slaughter Demon. You borrowed it from Satoru, right?”
Itadori hesitated, a flicker of guilt crossing his face. “Hmm…”
Gojo’s voice echoed in his imagination, demanding, “Gimme!”
Itadori winced, imagining Gojo’s reaction. “Here you go!”
In his imagination, Gojo’s response was a disappointed, “I broke it.”
Maki’s frustration was evident. “It’s not coming back!”
Itadori stammered, “Eek! Gojo-sensei… has it…”
Maki, visibly annoyed, cursed under her breath. “Tsk… That blindfolded dumbass!”
Fushiguro, observing the exchange, pondered aloud, “Hmm…”
Gojo sneezed loudly, drawing a grimace from Iori. “Ngh… Gross.”
Maki took charge of the discussion. “So, what’s the plan? The group format is what we expected, but we have another member now. Do we change strategies? There’s not much time.”
Inumaki, ever succinct, responded, “Bonito flakes.”
Panda turned to Itadori, his curiosity piqued. “Well, that depends on Yuuji. What can you do?”
Itadori shrugged, offering, “Punch, kick…”
Panda shook his head. “We have enough of that.”
Itadori looked puzzled. “Huh?”
Fushiguro’s insight came through. “I don’t know what he’s been doing since he’s been dead, but if everyone from Tokyo and Kyoto fought him at once without cursed energy, Itadori would win.”
Panda, intrigued, said, “Oh?”
Maki, her thoughts racing, considered Fushiguro’s words. Megumi’s saying that after fighting Toudou? That makes it convincing. Interesting.
As the meeting continued, the weight of their upcoming challenge settled over them, and the students of Tokyo and Kyoto prepared for the intense competition that lay ahead.
༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥❀༺♥༺♥༻
The door to the meeting room creaked open, drawing the attention of everyone inside. Gojo entered first, his usual nonchalant demeanor in place, followed closely by Y/N. She wore her new school uniform with an air of fresh sophistication, a black skirt and blazer paired with a white blouse, and carried a sleek bag slung over her shoulder. Her presence stirred a mix of surprise and curiosity among the students.
“Look who decided to drop by,” Gojo announced with a casual grin. His eyes twinkled with mischief and affection as he glanced at Y/N.
Megumi, who had been deep in thought about the upcoming Exchange Event, snapped out of his reverie. His gaze fixed on Y/N, and a frown of confusion creased his brow. “How is she a student here? There’s no way she has cursed energy… Is she allowed to be here?”
Gojo chuckled softly, stepping closer to Y/N and placing a hand gently on her shoulder. “Ah, well, you see, she’s not just any ordinary person. She comes with the backing of a clan. That’s how she’s here.”
With that, Gojo turned to Y/N, his expression softening. He tilted her face up gently and leaned in to kiss her deeply. The kiss was brief but intense, a clear display of their bond. The room fell silent, the students' eyes widening in surprise and curiosity.
As Gojo pulled away, he looked at the room with a triumphant smile. Y/N’s face, flushed from the kiss, was a picture of mixed emotions. She felt the bond snap into place, a strong connection solidifying between them. Though she had to mask her revulsion at the kiss and hide her elation at gaining another powerful follower, her eyes betrayed a glint of satisfaction.
Gojo, holding Y/N’s hand up, declared proudly, “We are engaged.”
The room buzzed with shock and intrigue. The students exchanged glances, trying to process the revelation. Y/N, standing beside Gojo, offered a polite smile, though her thoughts were far from the scene unfolding before her.
༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥༻❀༺♥༻༺♥❀༺♥༺♥༻
The meeting room at Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical College buzzed with curiosity and excitement as the door clicked shut behind Gojo, leaving Y/N alone with the group. Megumi, Maki, Panda, Toge, and Nobara all turned their attention to Y/N, their faces a mix of confusion and eagerness.
Megumi was the first to speak, his voice tinged with desperation. "Y/N, how did you become a student here? I thought you didn’t have any cursed energy and weren’t affiliated with any clan."
Maki crossed her arms, eyeing Y/N with suspicion. "Yeah, how’s that even possible? And what’s with the new uniform? Did you have to go through some special process to get in?"
Panda tilted his head, his curiosity piqued. "Did you really get engaged to Gojo? What’s the story behind that?"
Nobara, unable to contain her curiosity, added, "And what about your connection with Gojo? Why is he so... attached to you?"
Y/N took a deep breath, maintaining her calm demeanor. "Well, I’m here thanks to Gojo's backing. He made some arrangements for me, which is why I’m allowed to be a student despite not having the usual qualifications. I wanted to be here more than anything to be with everyone. "
Her smile remained steady as she continued, "As for my relationship with Gojo, complicated. We’re committed to working together for now."
Megumi's face showed clear worry. "But... What if you decide to leave? Things change quickly around here. I don’t want to lose you like that."
Y/N’s gaze softened, her tone reassuring. "I’m not going anywhere. I’m here to stay and support all of you. You don’t need to worry about me abandoning you."
Maki’s skepticism shifted as she asked, "What about the gifts? Did you really bring something for us?"
Y/N reached into her bag with a smile and began pulling out several items. "Yes, I did."
She approached Maki first, handing her a delicate hair clip. "This is for you. It’s a special one just for you. I thought it would suit you."
Next, Y/N turned to Megumi, presenting him with a ring. "This is for you, Megumi. "
Megumi took the ring, his anxiety evident despite his thanks. "Thanks... I really appreciate this."
Y/N then handed out regular souvenirs to Panda, Toge, Itadori, and Nobara, each receiving a small token of appreciation.
Panda grinned, clearly pleased. "Thanks!"
Toge’s smile widened as he accepted his gift.
Nobara nodded in gratitude, "Nice. Thanks for the gifts."
Y/N's smile remained genuine as she responded, "You’re welcome. I’m glad you like them."
The group’s tension eased as they began to chat about the upcoming events and their plans. Y/N blended into the conversation.

Gakuganji sat at the head of the table, his stern gaze sweeping over the gathered students. The air was thick with tension and uncertainty as he spoke with chilling clarity.
“Kill Sukuna’s vessel, Itadori Yuuji. He’s not a person, so it will go unquestioned. It’ll be treated as an accident. There’s no need to hold back or hesitate.”
Miwa’s eyes flickered with unease. I don’t want to… she thought, her apprehension barely masked.
Mai’s voice cut through the silence. “You say to kill him, but he’s here because he didn’t die, right?”
Gakuganji’s expression didn’t waver. “I’ve heard that Itadori’s previous death was suicide. What is the one thing you must be cautious about when ending a hostile sorcerer, Kamo?”
Kamo, seated across from Gakuganji, responded with a nod. “Yes. You must kill them with cursed energy to prevent them from coming back as a curse after death.”
“Exactly. If another delivers the finishing blow with cursed energy, then all is well. At present, Itadori Yuuji has control of the body. Unless Sukuna comes out, he’s just a first-year. Killing him will be --”
Before Gakuganji could finish, Toudou burst through the sliding door, a fierce expression on his face. “This is stupid. Do what you want.”
He prepared to leave, but Kamo’s voice stopped him. “Come back, Toudou. The principal isn’t finished yet.”
Toudou barely spared them a glance. “Takada-chan’s making a guest appearance on a walking show at 11. Do I need to explain any more?”
Kamo’s frustration was evident. “You can record it. Come back here.”
Toudou’s voice was a growl of defiance. “I’m going to watch the recording and watch it in real time! Who do you take me for?”
Mai rolled her eyes. *That’s your problem here?*
Toudou’s gaze turned fierce. “Listen, all of you. You listen, too, old man! I’ve long been disappointed in you all and your bad taste in women. Plot and scheme all you want on your own. But if you try to order me around again, I’ll kill you.”
With that, Toudou stormed out, his anger palpable. Gakuganji’s face darkened as he watched him go.
Miwa looked around nervously. “What do we do now? I don’t think we’ll be able to carry out the plan with him like that. The principal’s gone off somewhere, too. I don’t want to be killed by that guy.”
Nishimiya’s gaze was distant. “Does it even matter? He’s going to go straight for the Tokyo team, anyway. If he’s just going to go berserk, we can focus on the game.”
Mai’s tone was sharp. “But we have to kill Itadori Yuuji, right?”
Miwa’s thoughts raced. *We’re seriously doing this?*
Mai shook her head. “I don’t think he’ll go as far as killing him. Though he probably could.”
Mechamaru’s voice was calm but firm. “Then we’ll need someone to keep an eye on Toudou and deliver the final blow to Itadori Yuuji.”
Miwa’s discomfort was evident. *I don’t like this!*
Kamo’s expression hardened. “Allowing a half-wit like Itadori Yuuji to be a sorcerer at Jujutsu Tech is a serious problem. It goes beyond this Exchange Event. I cannot overlook this as the eldest son of the Kamo clan. We’re all attacking Itadori Yuuji together.”
Nishimiya’s concern was clear. “Hold on. What happens if Inumaki-kun is with Itadori-kun? Having all of us in one place is a risky move with that cursed speech user. Worst case, he could wipe all of us out at once.”
Mechamaru nodded. “That’s true.”
Kamo’s resolve was unshaken. “No, if you know he’s coming, he’s not that scary to face.”
Mai’s gaze was steely. “Let me have Maki. That brown-haired first-year, too, if possible.”
Kamo’s tone was final. “You’re sounding just like Toudou.”
Mai’s frustration boiled over. “Grr…!”

In the staff room, Gojo and Iori sat with tea, a lighter atmosphere contrasting sharply with the previous scene. Gojo’s playful grin was at odds with the serious conversation.
“So, what did you want?” Iori asked, her tone edged with annoyance.
Gojo’s eyes twinkled mischievously. “Huh? Why are you mad?”
Iori’s irritation was clear. “I’m not mad, actually.”
Gojo’s grin widened. “Right? I haven’t done anything, after all.”
Iori’s gaze grew serious. “There’s someone working with either a curse user or curses at Jujutsu Tech.”
Gojo’s smile faltered. “A lot of them on that level have been popping up lately. They understand human speech, and they’ve formed a faction that’s operating with purpose. They might think they’re just working with a curse user.”
He paused before adding, “I’d like to ask you to handle investigating those at Kyoto, Utahime.”
Iori’s eyes narrowed. “What would you do if I was the traitor?”
Gojo’s expression turned serious. “No way. You’re weak, and you don’t have the guts --”
Before he could finish, Iori hurled her tea at him, but it missed. Gojo laughed it off, unperturbed.
“Scary! Hysterics won’t win men, you know.”
Iori’s frustration was palpable. “I am the senior here!”
Gojo’s grin remained. “By the way, I forgot to mention… Y/N and I are engaged now.”
Iori’s eyes widened in surprise. “What?”
Gojo’s grin grew wider. “Yep. We’re officially a thing now. It’s part of my plan.”
Iori’s eyes narrowed with a mix of disbelief and concern, but she said nothing further, choosing instead to focus on the tasks at hand.

The walkway leading to the competition area was a hive of activity as the Tokyo students gathered, each of them brimming with anticipation. Fushiguro approached Itadori, his expression serious and a touch concerned.
“Itadori,” Fushiguro said, his tone quiet but insistent.
Itadori looked up from adjusting his gear, a grin spreading across his face. “Hm?”
Fushiguro's gaze was piercing. “You okay?”
Itadori’s smile widened, though there was a hint of hesitation in his eyes. “Yeah, sounds like I’ve got a big role, but I’ll manage.”
Fushiguro’s concern didn’t dissipate. “I’m not talking about that. Something happened, right?”
Itadori’s grin faltered for a moment, then he nodded. “Okay, it did. But it’s true that I’m fine. In fact, because of what happened, I don’t want to lose to anyone.”
Fushiguro nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. “Okay, then. I don’t really want to lose, either.”
As the group began walking toward the entrance, Kugisaki’s energy was infectious. She turned to Fushiguro with a determined look. “What do you mean ‘really’? You already got sent rolling around once!”
Kugisaki’s excitement was palpable as Maki, Panda, and Inumaki joined them.
Kugisaki’s enthusiasm was evident. “Overwhelm them! Let’s thoroughly trounce them! For Maki-san’s sake, too!”
Maki rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress a smile. “Don’t say stuff like that.”
Inumaki, adhering to his limited vocabulary, added, “Pollack roe!”
Panda, catching the energy, cheered along. “Yeah! For Maki-san’s sake, too!”
Maki’s frustration showed as she snapped back, “Don’t say stuff like that!”
Despite the banter, Itadori’s grin was unshakable. “Hehe… Well, in that case… let’s win!”
Without warning, Maki delivered a swift kick to Itadori’s back. “What are you doing taking the lead?”
Itadori winced but laughed it off. “Ow.”
The group continued to the start line, their spirits high and their focus clear. The competition was about to begin.

As the Tokyo students focused on the upcoming event, Gojo’s distinctive presence appeared at the edge of the walkway. His eyes, gleaming with mischief, swept over the bustling students before landing on Y/N, who stood observing from a distance in her pristine new school uniform, her bag slung casually over her shoulder.
Gojo called out, his voice cutting through the clamor. “Y/N! There you are.”
Y/N turned, surprise etched across her face. “Gojo-sensei? What’s up?”
Before she could react, Gojo moved with a swift, almost casual grace. He swept her into his arms, carrying her away from the busy scene.
“Hey! What’s going on?” Y/N’s voice was tinged with confusion and a hint of alarm.
Gojo’s tone was light and playful. “You’re not quite ready to participate just yet. You don’t have any training, after all. We’ll sort that out later.”
Y/N struggled slightly but found herself unable to escape Gojo’s hold. “But what about the others?”
Gojo’s grin was unwavering. “Don’t worry about them. They’ll be fine. You need to focus on getting up to speed.”
As Gojo carried Y/N away, the competition and the bustling students fell behind them, replaced by the uncertainty of her new situation. Despite the unexpected turn of events, Y/N felt a surge of satisfaction. Gojo’s actions not only reinforced her position but also deepened the bond she was weaving with him.
