Was debating on who'd confess 1st between Hilda and Frida and decided that Frida would if we go with the headcanon that a witch and their familiar share an emotional bond and can sense each other, Hilda would likely not realize Frida's feelings until told. This would be them about age 15. Not 100% on the dialogue since I did this on the fly unlike the other comics but I just had to get this out so I can work on other things

Was talking Hilda stuff with a friend and this silly idea came to me, of how Hilda officially found out her mom was dating the librarian. I wonder if I should've added a few more panels or a bonus of the aftermath but atm, nah.

Also, it's so hard to get good reference pics of the apartment Hilda and her mom lives in on google... most of the pics r of the old cabin which isn't helpful or where they live for 95% of the series

~ Honestly, I headcanon that Hilda has ADHD or at least something like that. So Johanna will be very understanding of your traits, as Hilda has them as well.

~ She loves it when you talk about the things you like. She likes that she can learn new things, and you’ll tell her all the details.

~ While she loves that you get along with Hilda, she worries that you two will get into some mischief. And you do. She may have to remind you that your job is to make sure Hilda doesn’t get hurt, not to go along with her dangerous shenanigans.

~ You worry Johanna sick with how easily you can get lost. She can’t even count how many times you’ve called her to ask her to come find you. And she doesn’t have to. Alfur keeps track. The number’s currently at 57.

~ She subconsciously gets into the habit of remembering things for you. Her brain automatically keeps track of where you place things. So if you forget where you put your keys, she’ll know.

~Kaisa~

~ Kaisa is very antisocial. So it takes a bit for her to get used to how much you talk. She doesn’t mind too much though. She enjoys the company. Just don’t talk too loud, you’re in a library after all!

~ She may be confused about some of the traits that come with your ADHD. But being a librarian, she most definitely has a book or two about the subject. So she will do some research.

~ She’s been a part of Hilda’s shenanigans herself, and she most definitely doesn’t want to be again. So when you’re hanging out with that crazy girl, she keeps her distance. But she makes sure to remind you to be safe.

~ Kaisa can get pretty tired of looking for you when you get lost. Like, how did you manage get into the Witches Tower? But don’t worry, she’ll never leave you hanging. But be prepared to get scolded.

~ While she’s not the best at magic, she’ll definitely whip up little spells or charms for you. Specifically to help you remember things, or to prevent you from getting lost.
