I have a few questions! You've mentioned that all the characters follows their VA (like JD being a comedian because Eric André is also a comedian) So does that mean the other 'Brothers' attend his comedy shows?? Cause I suddenly had this vision of Clay just yelling "You're not funny!" While the others Snicker/cackle behind him.

Brozone (+ Poppy & Viva) x Touch Starved Fem! Reader

Ok the request is that the reader is a touch starved, easily flustered, insecure yet passionate female. Her hair can change based on how she’s feeling. She likes to rant and info dump a lot. She likes drawing herself and her loved ones, and gives small gifts as a form of affection or to make them feel better. There will be a friend and s/o version.

(I’m also really sorry if this is not to the liking of the request, I kind of struggled while making this 😭)

John Dory:

Friend:

- As your friend he’s a little concerned for you

- Like he knows your fine but sometime he worries 😭

- But nothing JD can’t handle

- Genuinely enjoys your little gifts but he never makes it obvious at first

“Hey JD look I made you a little gift.” :)

“Oh that’s sweet. Can you put it on my desk? I’ll look at it later.”

- One day him and his brothers were rough housing around while you Poppy, and Viva stood by cheering them on. Bruce gets a little too rough with him and knocks something out of his jacket, it was your gift

- This man stops everything

- Like everything

- Like everyone’s frozen in place no matter what stance they’re in

- And picks it up and places it gently back in the pockets inside his jacket then lectures the boys about how he could’ve gotten his belongings crushed 😭

- Still worries about you even after being together

- Sometimes the way your emotions change with your hair startles him

- And that’s mostly because your emotions can change rapidly

- But he also finds it really funny

- He’ll listen to you rant all day

- With feedback on every question and statement

- Also finds your hair amusing but won’t abuse it’s power on purpose like John 😭

- And the other trolls had so much fun with it that he considered you a distraction from the bergens soooo he wasn’t too fond of you

- And it takes a while but eventually you both become inseparable

- He’s growing as in character development

- So now instead of getting upset he uses your hair to read you

- He never really knows when he’s doing anything right or wrong as far as the relationship so he depends on your hair to know which path to take

- Doesn’t even realize that you’re rambling cause she’s doing it too

- You both are a special duo that at one point drove Branch up a tree (no pun intended)

- As much as the trolls like you, they don’t realize how actually dangerous you two could be together 😭

- And you can imagine the fear on Branch’s face when he finds out Viva and Poppy are sisters

- Everyone knows Poppy is a scrapbooking master so when she begins to receive little arts and crafts from you she’s in love

- Like she’s bouncing off the wall excited

- Literally (it’s Poppy)

- She’s superrr touchy-feely so your living your best life

- Like JD she might try to scare you a couple times to see your hair spike up for fun but cuddles you after

- Basically Poppy’s doppelgänger so what can you expect?!

- Always rambling but somehow always manages to do it more than you

- Clay tried to help you hide your hair for the sake of you and Viva

- Unfortunately she popped up out of nowhere startling you both and causing your hair to go erratic

Back in their boyband days, do you think Spruce eats enough? Are there days when he just wakes up in the middle of the night or early morning because of hunger, and stares at the ceiling, becaue he has no idea how to cook, and doesn't want to bother anyone? Well... what if one of the brothers wakes up anyway?

"Spruce?" Clay asked, his voice groggy and sleepy. "Why are you awake? It's still dark outside?"

Spruce moved to his side, his back on Clay. "It's nothing, go back to sleep." His hand on his stomach as it growled.

The other blinked, and purses his lips, before sitting up, stretching slightly to wake up, before standing up, careful not to wake up the others. Spruce turned to look at him, feeling him move.

"Where are you going??" He half-whispered-half-shouted. His eyes squinting to look at Clay, adjusting to the dark. "Grandma will kill you if she finds you awake right now."

"Shhh!" Clay hissed. "Can we at least talk outside??" He demanded, his eyes scanning the room for anyone else waking up, and sighs in relief when the snores continued. Spruce glared at him before standing up himself, also slowly, to keep the snores coming. He follows Clay out the door and into the kitchen, quietly closing the door behind them.

"What do you want?" Spruce asks. Both of them squinting when Clay flicked the switch, turning on the light. His eyes on him as the other starts to pull a chair and climb it, rummaging the cupboards.

"I think I should be the one asking that." Clay says, slowly climbing off the chair as Spruce instinctively holds the chair to keep the balance, their small tray of eggs on hand.

"Wait...are you gonna cook?" Spruce pieced together, his stomach grumbling once more at the question. Clay gave him a look.

"No, I'm gonna make these eggs dance the macarena." He remarks sarcastically as he cracks a few eggs into a bowl. "YES, I'm going to cook, Spruce."

"But...why? It's probably a few more hours before John wakes up and makes breakfast anyway?" Spruce asks, his eyes watching as the other seasons the egg, almost like how his older brother would.

"Well, you're hungry now, aren't you?" Clay questions. His eyes now on him, his hands stop beating the egg. Spruce eyes widen at this.

"What? No- I-" his hand clutching his stomach as it growls desperately. Not exactly helping his case here. He turns quite red, and sighs knowing there's no point in lying right now. "...Yeah, okay- I'm starving." He admitted, his voice small, mumbling.

Clay gives him a look, one almost looking sympathetic. And gets back to work, his eyes on the eggs as he replied.

"Of course you are. No way that sad salad John gave you made you full, you idiot."

Spruce can only glare back. His arms crossed. "Whatever...how are you going to cook anyway? I can't even turn on the stove without blowing up our pod- and I'm older than you!"

Clay snickers, turning on the stove with ease. "I think that's on you, brother." He teases, climbing up the chair once more. "Besides, I watched John for a while now. Relax. Go sit at the table. I'm making us omelettes."

"Us?"

"Yes, us. I'm hungry now thanks to you."

"Shut up"

"You love me."

Floyd & Branch headcanons + fanfic

~I got this idea while reading a fanfic where branch realizes that john dory was the only one who came back after all and floyd lied to him this story was inspire by OpefuLee but I'm adding my own little twist but I hope you'll be okay with me using some of your ideas anyways Thanks <3~

-Floyd was definitely branch favorite brother

-Since they were almost close in age, they understood each other very well; they would have code words that none of the older brothers, not even Grandma Roisepuff, could even figure out

-Floyd loved to sing to branch, even his made-up lullaby

-Branch loves hugs, especially from Floyd <3

-Floyd would be the one to cheer up Branch when he is upset or angry

-When Branch is angry, he bites the other brothers, but he would never bite Floyd. Even if he does, it doesn't hurt Floyd cause branch doesn't want to make Floyd bleed

-Floyd would help branch out by bathing, feeding him, changing his diapers, etc. Floyd was there for him

- branch would also play dolls and dress up with Floyd. He doesn't mind still plays makeup and dressing up as an adult and is not ashamed of it, even if his girlfriend, Queen Poppy, teases him about it

-Branch loves it when Floyd plays hide n Seek Floyd always lets Branch win

-Floyd and Branch would get away with anything; they were like partners in crime

-Floyd and Branch would help their grandma bake, and they would even take turns mixing the batter

-Floyd and Branch likes it when Clay reads to them and tugs them both in

-Branch prefers to sleep with Floyd

-Every word Floyd told Branch: Branch would always believe it, ever since one of it was a little lie, or was it?

But eventually, it all changes as branch gets older and realizes

After the concert disaster, Branch felt ashamed of himself. He knew it was his fault that the family harmony broke off, but Floyd assured him it wasn't his fault. He tried to stop the older brothers from fighting, but eventually, it got heated. John Dory was the first to walk out, but more like jump out, then followed by Clay and Spruce.

Branch looked heartbroken that his three older brothers had just left as he looked at Floyd, hoping that floyd wasn't gonna leave him but indeed, he was floyd carried and tugged Branch into bed as he looked at Branch for the last time.

Floyd began to play his guitar, singing Branch his final lullaby as floyd stopped before Branch closed his eyes. He looked at floyd. "I Can't make you stay In this broken place," Branch said softly as he yawned, reaching his hands out as floyd held it. "I promise I'll be back," he said softly, giving Branch a soft smile.

As floyd got up and kissed Branch on the forehead, Branch shut his eyes slowly. "And I hope you find peace. Close your eyes as I put us to sleep." Floyd said softly, heading out as he looked at branch one last time before leaving......

~Present day~

Branch glares at floyd angrily cause he was avoiding the situation meanwhile, Clay and John are still sitting face-to-face with each other, but luckily, branch gets in between them before they kill each other as he notices that floyd is leaving or is attempting to leave

Branch held floyd back with Poppy, Viva, and Bruce guarding the elevator. "Floyd is there something you wanna tell us especially me?" branch asked "No-? I have the stuff to do, and I figure it is not my problem it seems more of a Clay and John Dory problem," floyd said but then he knew he gave himself away

"Can I ask you this? Did you ever think about coming back like you promised me? I know you were stuck in the diamond prison for two months, but before that, did you ever think of coming back for me? like you promise" Branch asked as floyd was sweating because all eyes were on him, especially Clay cause Clay was hurt the most beside Branch

Floyd began to tear up and choked on his own words. "I'm sorry, I didn't think about returning for you because if I did, you would be mad at me, and I felt guilty leaving you and grandma," floyd said, hugging Branch while sobbing

As Branch pushed floyd back so hard he felt "YOU LIED TO ME FLOYD. I BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU TOLD ME, SO SOME OF THE THINGS YOU TOLD ME WERE LIES AS WELL!" Branch said, tearing up

"I was running out of time, And you were always on my mind no matter what. I didn't have a choice. The others didn't come back for you. What about Clay, Bruce, and John? They didn't even come back, and they are to blame!" Floyd snaps back at branch

"That final lullaby you sang me was an excuse for you to leave me and never come back, but I guess I can't you stay in this broken place," Branch said as Poppy held onto Branch's hands to comfort him

For the first time ever, branch and floyd were the ones fighting; they never fought, even when they were younger. They were the peaceful siblings, while the three older brothers would be the ones fighting, so to see them fight was weird. It kinda made Clay and John look stupid, but were Branch and floyd putting on an act or pretending to fight to show Clay and John how stupid they looked when they were fighting..

Oh, they both wish their two younger brothers were teaching them a lesson, but it was not. Floyd lied to branch straight to his own face even as a baby, but the other brothers didn't want to say anything to come between them...

-Flash Back-

" they stopped being my brothers the day they walked out on me and never returned.." Branch told poppy

As Branch crosses his arms and turns his back to John Dory during the royal wedding John Dory replies with

" Whoa, whoa, whoa. That’s not fair, Branch. I did come back, but no one was there. It wasn’t until I heard about you saving the world from the rock apocalypse that I realized you were still alive," John said, trying to get close to Branch only for him to back away, still crossing his arms.

-End of Flashback-

Until it hit Branch right in the head, Jonh Dory actually did come back. He was in fact, the only brother who cared and kept his promise that he would come back even if he never said it but he made an effort to come back for Branch and the others

As branch tears became like a river, "J-John, you actually came back!" Branch said sobbing, hugging Jonh

"Of course, I did what I did was wrong. I should have never pushed past you guys' limits, but I let it get the best of me. You guys are always on my mind." John said as he teared up while hugging the branch. Clay felt bad. "You really did come back," Clay said softly

"I kept the drawing you used to make for me, and I always have kept it." John said, which made Clay smile and tears roll down his face as he hugged his brother sobbing; it was a sweet moment as they broke the hug as Branch looked at floyd. "I think you should leave now." branch said in the most profound tone, which sent chills down his spine..

Anyway, as I mentioned, the story was inspired by OpefuLee on Wattpad. They make outstanding stories and troll art, so check them out. Also, check out their partner George_Beard, who also makes good troll fanfic. So, some of my future ideas will be based on George_Beard stories as well. I decided to use the weekend final lullaby cause it fits well with this concept. I know the song was short and the mention was short but I had fun writing the story Any way I'll probably make a part 2 soon or something but anyway, I hope you enjoyed the headcanon + fanfic Also, the Request will reopen again on May 31st and will close again on August 9th of 2024, so don't be disappointed if I don't get to your request. WAIT! Hold up. Rewind a second. Is Rosiepuff still alive by this point? Please tell me she lived to see that Branch survived.

Second question, does band together happen or do the reunions happen some other way? Because I don't really see how it would work. In Band Together Floyd got grabbed because he was traveling Solo in Mount Rageous. Here, if I'm reading this right, he and JD are living with the Techno Trolls nowhere close to the city. So how does it work? Do they hear gossip about the Pop trolls wrecking the rock concert and just happen to hear Branch's name? Or do they just happen to be visiting their grandma as the Borrowers are settling in and have the greatest surprise of their lives?

Either way I'd just like to suggest a bit of a roll reversal when meeting the Putt-Putts in that Poppy recognizes Viva before Viva recognizes Poppy. Like Viva was a teenager during the escape, her appearance wouldn't have changed so much that you couldn't connect the dots. On the other hand, the last Viva saw of Poppy was a toddler screaming for her in a collapsing tunnel. Something you would not connect to this grown ass 20 something year old woman that randomly just showed up one day.

First yes rosiepuff is alive she did survive! Second John Dory and Floyd are staying with the techno trolls rn seeing as Floyd is getting married and jd is hiding from his ex(she wants to kill him) and they have been in contact with grandma rosiepuff since they left the tree but they don’t meet him then.

the brothers actually meet during world tour. After the techno string was taken Floyd worried about how it’ll affect spire and echo vows to get it back taking jd with him. Branch, poppy and creek(he replaces biggie) go off just like in the movie branch way more skeptical than in canon. Basically they run into each other at lonesome flats.

Still have a few things too plan out but that’s basically where our main three meet and they meet Bruce and clay during band together

Also poppy would immediately recognize viva absolutely. And viva not only wouldn’t recognize her but as of right now she thinks she died in the tunnel collapse so it’s gonna be a surprise for both viva and clay when they find out their baby sibs are alive.

And the third movie happens differently but I’m still figuring out how so right now I’m only focusing on the borrowers and world tour.

Brozone x Hot One Wing challenge…. HeadCanon

(this is a super short headcanon)

-John Dory Will handle it just fine during the first fews rounds as it got hotter oooh his A** is on Fire baby!!!

-John Will definitely need a huge junk of milk to cool it down also will cuss cause he’s in pain from eating the hottest hot sauce there’s is

-Bruce He’s fine just like John as it gets hotter he will be sweating will try his best not to cuss unlike John who is cussing

-Bruce don’t need milk or ice cream he’ll just handle it like a man no pain no gain am I right?

-Clay would probably say “This Sh*t isn’t even that hot How hot could this really be?” He likes to jokes around and make fun of his brother who is in pain

-As soon as clay took a bite he instantly regrets it his mouth was on fire that for sure he would spill milk all over himself or steal Bruce bottle of milk while Bruce just sitting there in pain waiting for the spice to go away Karma is definitely a B*tch clay karma doesn’t play around clay….

-Poor Floyd has it the worst sensitive to spice one bite will send his nose to bleed :( even the mild not even spicy one makes his nose bleed #justice for Floyd

-Floyd would just watch his three older brother sweat,cuss and scream in pain Floyd would also be in pain aswell despite getting a nose bleed

-Branch handles it like a champion “I’ve had worst experience than this hottest hot sauce.”

-Branch will clean the bones clean he’ll even drink the hottest hot sauce if you ask him too…

John Dory spice tolerance is mild he can handle certain hot sauce or spice he can handle ghost peppers and Carolina peppers

Bruce spice tolerance is also mild but he cannot handle ghost peppers or Carolina but only the mild to non spicy one

Clay Spice tolerance is also like Bruce but he can only handle ghost pepper at some point

Floyd spice tolerance is poor and lowest of the brozone bros he can’t even handle sriracha hot sauce he thinks everything is spicy for him even just seasoning pepper and salt is too spicy for him Bruce would have to put less of it when cooking ;-;

Branch: High spice tolerance goddess (I need a higher spice tolerance like his I have a mild spice tolerance)

sorry i died for a few days, i had school + i was sick all week but didn't know it

i'm working on some digital art and some more sketches for my silly trolls au, so for now i'll just share some miscellaneous thoughts i've been having about it:

- in this au, i'm using my own age gap headcanons for the bros. so, at the time of the brozone split, branch was 2; floyd was 13; clay was 14; bruce was 16; and john dory was 19. poppy is 2-3 years younger than branch, and viva is 2 years younger than clay.

- viva has been the acting ruler of pop village since she was 19, king peppy's grief over the lost of poppy leading him to retire early. poppy and branch became co-leaders of the putt-putt trolls when they were 16 and 18 respectively, after the original leader passed and they were deemed best for the job.

- instead of the snack pack being viva's best friends, her relationship with them is a bit more complicated. having found cooper as an egg not long after poppy was lost, he became something of a little brother to her; so, to viva, the rest of the snack pack are both her brother's friends and are kinda like little siblings to her.

- neither clay nor branch sing in this au (at least, not at first), though for different reasons: branch doesn't sing because singing killed his grandma (at least in his mind), and being lost during the escape only worsened his state; clay doesn't sing because, despite having already begun to gain back her colors by the time of the first movie, the lost of her entire family was a wound that never truly healed.

- i've also been considering having branch or poppy being the one kidnapped by velvet and veneer instead of floyd, since both are believed to be dead in this au and i think it would be interesting. should i make the change and have either of these two kidnapped, it'll be the other that goes on the hunt for brozone. so if branch is kidnapped, poppy will be the one to look for his missing brothers; and if poppy is kidnapped, branch will be looking for his brothers to help her.

- speaking of lost siblings, like in canon poppy isn't aware that she has a sister; the only hint of a past she has is an old hug time bracelet she doesn't remember being given to her. branch remembers all of his brothers to varying degrees, the one he remembers most being clay since he'd came back before the tree escape. and clay and viva both know about poppy and branch - their mourning of their lost loved ones helped spark their friendship - but viva isn't aware that clay had other siblings.

- also i'm gonna mention this now so i don't forget, but the reason i haven't talked about floyd, bruce, or john dory all too much for this au is because they remain mostly unchanged. all that really does change is floyd probably not being kidnapped and instead just…doing his own thing. solo career shit yknow. this au is more so centered around clay, branch, poppy, and viva overall.

anyway these are some silly thoughts, and i'm gonna get back to drawing :]

Brozone diner au: the day John Dory took off part two

"We're talking about forcing John Dory to take a day off. Like an actual day off. Even when we're closed on the mandatory holidays, he's still here doing something. Cleaning, stocking, rearranging, all kinds of stuff. He needs at least a day to just relax and probably catch up on sleep.” Bruce answered, waving his hands about as he talked. "Ah, ok. Yeah that's gonna be hard. We need to come up with a plan before we do anything else. We need to think of every possible outcome and prepare for it." Branch said, already writing down outcomes. “Or, or, hear me out, we play the health card." Floyd said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. The rest of them gave him a confused look, unsure of what he meant. “We play the health card, the card he plays with me when he thinks I'm ‘working too much’. He says I need to take time for my health and take care of my body. Pull a uno reverse on him. He needs to do the same so when he tries to wiggle his way out of it, we can point out all the things that are causing him stress, anxiety, high blood pressure or anything else. Like working a dinner rush causes high anxiety and stress. Constantly lifting trays full of dishes can cause carpul tunnel. Not to mention the toll it takes on one's mental health. I very rarely get angry customers, he seems to get them all the time, which causes more stress. We just say we're worried about his health, he can't refuse because then he'll be brushing off our worries and he doesn't want to do that. Boom, full proof plan.” Floyd said confidently, crossing his arms. "That's so smart, I'm surprised I didn't think of it first.” Clay said, staring at Floyd, a bit dumbfounded. Floyd was about to stand up and argue with Clay about what that was supposed to mean when Bruce held up his hands.  “Ok but when should we do this? We can't just go out there without an idea of when would be a good time to do this." Bruce said, thinking aloud. "Sunday. Probably in the evening. That way he can't argue about taking Monday off. It's our slowest day. So he won't have to worry about us being busy and can actually relax." Branch said, the plan coming together. The brothers quickly went back to work to avoid alerting John Dory to their plan, playing it off as if they were killing time. 

Sunday evening comes and all of them are beat, it was the busiest day they had had in a while, making several thousand dollars worth of sales. After closing up, the younger brothers give each other a nod, silently saying it's time to put their plan into action. They went to the office, standing in the doorway as John counted their registers and safe with Clay (Clay just double checking JD's work). "How you doing John Dory?" Floyd asked nonchalantly. “Good." John replied before continuing to count. “You sure? You seemed a bit tired today. Like you needed a break." Bruce said, leaning his back on the door frame casually. “Yeah I'm fine. I guess I didn't get very much sleep last night." John Dory said before handing a stack of cash for Clay to count. Clay barely looked up, they added more details to the plan, like who was gonna say what and in what order. John wrote down the numbers and entered them into the system, a few seconds of silence passed before Branch butted with his own line. “Do you ever get enough sleep? Always seems like you're here late and open early. When do you sleep?” Branch joked, shooting John a cheeky grin that was met with a stern look. "Well I sleep after I clock out and close up. Then I wake up to come open this place up. Some nights it's takes longer to close up. Like today, that was the busiest we've been in like, a month.” John said, taking all the money from Clay and putting it in the safe.  "Maybe you should take tomorrow off then.” Branch said sincerely, subtly giving JD the puppy dog eyes. They could see the hesitation in John's face, that was Floyd's signal to go in for the kill. “He's right. It's not healthy to overwork yourself. We worry about you sometimes. It's only because we care about you and your health. When was the last time you had a day off?" Floyd's voice was sweet and gentle, asking a question they all knew the answer to: never. John Dory looked like a deer in headlights, unsure of how to respond. “When was the last time you had a day off John?" Clay questioned, knowing where this line of questioning should go. John Dory got very quiet and tried to avoid eye contact with his brothers. “When was it?" Bruce said directly. John mumbled out an answer, prompting a ‘hmm?’ out of Bruce. “I don't remember." John said quietly but it sounded deafening in the silent office. “WHAT?!?" the younger three said, being a little overdramatic. “John, working non stop is not healthy. You're gonna get burnt out. You should really take a day off at least. You make me worried, man.” Clay said worriedly, causing John to cringe a little. "Clay's right, John. We worry about your health sometimes. You should take the day off, if not for yourself, for us at least.” Floyd said gently, coming over and placing his hand on John's shoulder. They had him right where they wanted him. The office got quiet again, the seconds passing felt like hours. They continued to look at John expectantly until he finally caved. Alright, fine. I'll take tomorrow off. But you guys call me if you need me. And Clay, you're opening, Branch you're closing.” John Dory said defeatedly, Branch and Clay groaning in annoyance. They knew they couldn't openly cheer for their success but opted for teasing their brother about what he was going to do on his day off. As John locked the door, Bruce cleared his throat, catching John's attention. “Oh and John?" “Yeah?" John said as he put his keys back in his pocket.  “Stay out of the diner tomorrow. A day off is not meant to be spent at your place of work." Bruce responded in a no nonsense kind of tone. John Dory rolled his eyes, pissed off a little that his baby brothers were trying to tell him what to do. “We're serious John Dory. You don't see us in there on our days off. And the only time we are is when we're with friends. So just take a day away from the diner. I promise we'll call you if we need you.” Floyd said, placing his hands on John's shoulders, letting him know how serious he was. The others looked at John with the same serious look, he inwardly groaned annoyed with his baby bros.
