Wow. Well...what can I say?

It's been a wild ride. 7 years of SpringleDongle, granted the last year has been a hiatus on Tumblr (I've been actively posting in the official discord). Posting the archive was also a massive task- 625 total posts on the new blog!

I've lost the several thousand followers I had on my old account, but that's just the nature of things. Hopefully I can regain a new audience as new asks are responded to, and new arcs posted!

I don't know what to say. So many people made this blog what it is, and I've had so many friends support me during the downtime. I'm in tears just thinking about how much this blog means to me.

I want to personally thank a few people.

@springlockedfoxy : My love, my life, my husbunny. Without you, I would've given up a long time ago. Thank you for the love, the inspiration, and your endless support. I'm so excited for our new life together.

@foxygogogo : My precious sibling. Without you, this blog wouldn't exist. We created a universe together, our silly characters and story, and of course Stan. Thank you for always being enthusiastic and enabling my bullshit stories, and being the best Funtime Foxy ever.

@ask-springsecurity : My beloved best friend, whose ongoing support and enthusiasm for our story has kept me coming back again and again. Hopefully I can push you to continue your blog too!

I'm flattered to be the first person you ask. Genuinely, I like being the first even in line at Jollibee and even getting the first call in a recitation. Its strange I know but I like it!

As for a piece of mine that deserves more love, I'm going with Nightbloom ft. Sakura. I really enjoyed writing it, especially since it's Kkura and the whole setup was fluff. I don't write much fluff so I was happy to do it.

Another writer's piece I enjoy? Most favorite that I've reread recently is @worldsover's No More Drowning ft. Olivia Hye. I read it for inspiration on a commission but got stuck in a loop of rereading it until I got bored of it (which never happened.) I love it—everything from the title, the setup, dynamics, and so on <3

Day #19-21

Day #19-21 (7/12/24-7/14/24)

Note: I am still in Las Vegas and, although its beautiful and the sights are amazing, the temperature is just so unbearable. I am going back to the Sacramento area on day 21 though so I will be in good weather soon enough. Interestingly, the weather in the Sacramento area is pretty similar to Greenville. The only difference being more wind and more sun.

Day #19: Today, I did not workout. It was way too hot and I didn't even go out to shop or anything.

Post: The air bnb we stayed at was definitely a life saver as the AC was perfect. Today, was meant to be a do whatever you wanted sort of day, so I decided to stay home and work on assignments and applications. Very nice day though apart from the scorching hot temperatures.

Day #20: Today, I walked about a mile as we planned to walk around at night rather than in the morning which was a blessing as it was surprisingly nice. I did no workout today as we were driving home that night around 11:00 pm and into the early morning of Day 21.

Post: My neck is the only sore part of me as my little brother took my neck pillow that I had purchased the day before for this exact reason. It's fine though since he slept well.

Day #21: Today, I did not get a good night's rest as it was basically just sleeping in a van. I will soon so an ab workout and some squats, most likely 100. There is a 3-hour difference between here and the EST time zone of SC so I am not typing this in the middle of the night, in case anyone was wondering.

Post: I didn't get much done today, but it's fine as rest was definitely a priority. I predict that the workout will be fine today.

Overall: These three days were very fun, except for the high temperatures. It really makes me appreciate that Columbia or Greenville never gets hotter than 80-85 degrees and stays nice. I think that my body has gotten used to the workouts. However, I most likely have not lost any weight as my diet has been unprecedented. Another thing, Jollibee is top tier. If you ever get the chance too, then eat there. Specifically, if you good with spice, then get the spicy fried chicken. It is absolutely heavenly. The fries are pretty average though, just a heads up.

Lumpia Shanghai had a previous history of its own before being introduced to Jollibee. Origins of this Chinese dish can be traced way back to Shanghai, China. This commonly referred to as Fried Spring Rolls, and was been a staple in Filipino cuisine for some generations until now.

It can be served as an appetizer or a snack upon dining in or take-out, these crispy and delicious treats have become Filipinos' favorite for their flavorful fillings across the country. During the early days of Chinese immigration, Lumpia Shanghai was introduced to the Philippines, where it was completely modified and became an integral part of Filipino cuisine and culture.

Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), known for its diverse menu of Filipino favorites, had initially introduced Lumpia Shanghai to Jollibee's menu as a response to the increasing and popular demand for this iconic dish. For years, Jollibee patrons turned to the fast-food chain to satisfy their cravings for the delectable Fried Spring Rolls.

But sadly, they have bid farewell to this beloved food item effective immediately: "We’re happy that people have enjoyed eating our Shanghai as much as we’ve enjoyed serving it to our loyal Jollibee customers, and we’d like to extend our sincerest appreciation for all the support. Unfortunately, our Shanghai is no longer available in our stores", as one local statement from JFC. Although, Jollibee decided to permanently phase out Lumpia Shanghai as fans need not despair.

To keep the spirit of this iconic dish alive, there are many alternative options to enjoy its flavors. A simple solution would be to try making Lumpia Shanghai at home, using readily available recipes and ingredients which can be found elsewhere online and physically in book stores as cookbooks. With a little effort and creativity, Filipino relatives, elderlies and families can recreate the satisfaction of biting into a homemade Lumpia Shanghai which isn't much related to trade secrets into another disclosed cafeteria or a fast food chain company.

While Jollibee's decision to delist or removing Lumpia Shanghai from its menu is undoubtedly disappointing, it opens up opportunities for other local food establishments to seize the opportunity and fill the void left by this absolute loss.

In the meantime, fans can channel their culinary skills and satisfy their cravings with homemade Lumpia Shanghai, keeping the memory of this iconic Filipino dish alive.

The McDonald's video advertisement "Thank you, Heroes of Delivery" is about delivery drivers during the pandemic. The video showed people's experiences during the pandemic, especially the delivery driver who worked hard to deliver food to the customers. Due to the limited movement because of the safety protocols, Mcdonalds paid tribute to the workers during the pandemic and treated them as our heroes. The video advertisement was aired last March 21, 2021. Moreover, the video also aims to give complimentary breakfast for every purchase to the driver to help them and as a thank you to them because of their hard work. The video also tells a story of how the drivers survive their work. The video clip shows solo interviews for the women and men drivers. 

In addition to this, the intended audience of the advertisement is the people who stay at home and also people who are working. It shows how thankful we should be to the drivers and heroes of the pandemic because they are working hard to make us happy. The advertisement is an appreciation of the dedication and continued work of the driver. The products and concept of the advertisement of McDonald's are necessarily good for the target audience because they greatly impacted the people working during the pandemic. Not only the delivery drivers but also the people who are staying at home are moved by the concept of the advertisement. Moreover, according to the article of ABS-CBN, there are free breakfasts for the drivers, which is a big help for them in working. There are opportunities for drivers to get back to their jobs, even risking their lives during the pandemic. 

The advertisement does not have media manipulation but uses marketing techniques to attract customers to buy their product, just like the free meal for the drivers in exchange for buying at a particular hour in the morning. That is the technique of Mcdonald's to gain customers, especially in the morning and during the pandemic. The advertisement captures the viewers' attention because they promote the modern heroes today and inform the audience how hardworking people work during the pandemic.

Jollibee, Sarap Kasama ang Pamilya

The Jollibee advertisement entitled "Jollibee, Sarap Kasama ang Pamilya" is a Christmas campaign of Jollibee during the pandemic. It is about family and their lives during the lockdown. It was aired two years ago. The main concept of the advertisement is a kid singing throughout the video and telling a message through his song. Moreover, family is the center of our lives, especially Filipino’s life. The advertisement symbolizes how families cherish their time with each other. In addition, the advertisement's intended audience is all the families and Filipinos out there. It tells us how important family is, and they also put their product as their symbol because the chicken of Jollibee means joy. It also tells the audience that our number one source of joy is our family, and they posted the advertisement during Christmas, which was very timely at that time. In the advertisement, they used the kids to represent Jollibee because many kids love Jollibee, and it will easily get the audience's attention. 

The product advertised to the audience was good for them because it is a food product that all people can enjoy, and it is a Filipino's all-time favorite go-to snack or meal. In addition, the video's concept reveals the appreciation we should have for our family. The video tells the audience that the pandemic is where we can share our priceless time with our family and enjoy their company. According to Jollibee Corporation, even if it is hard to find the joy that we want during the pandemic, we still need to be thankful because we got to spend our Christmas season with our loved ones.

The advertisement of Jollibee did not show any media manipulation. Throughout the years, the advertisement of Jollibee's concept has been about the joy that can be given by their product. The advertisement captures the attention of the viewers because the model for the advertisement is a kid and a family. As we all know, children are the source of joy in the family. The advertisement's concept got the viewers' eyes because the boy gives justice to his role, and the song captured the viewer's heart.

"BIDA Solusyon sa COVID 19!"

An advertisement titled "BIDA Solusyon sa Covid 19!" was released on July 8, 2020, and it was posted by the Department of Health (DOH). The advertising takes aim to raise awareness about COVID-19 as well as how individuals may cooperate with one another to reduce the risk of the virus infection. The advertisement made use of the catchphrase "BIDA solusyon" and the acronym "BIBA," which refers to "Bawal walang mask" which encourages people to constantly put on masks, "I-sanitize ang mga kamay," which reminds people to regularly wash their hands, "Dumistansya ng isang metro" which informs people that they should continue practicing social distancing, and lastly "Alamin ang totoong impormasyon" which remind people to be attentive to the news especially those that are related to the COVID-19 virus and also to tell people concerning potential disinformation that might mislead them and the general public.

This advertisement is an excellent example of how ads can also be used to inform and raise awareness among the general public regarding safety and discipline. The good thing about an advertisement, when it is being used to spread awareness, is that it is not limited only to a particular place and can influence people even outside of the country that it is based in. This advertisement is timely and relevant even to this day, as COVID-19 is still a concern, and people still have the possibility of being infected by it. This advertisement benefited their target audience as the general public is always alerted and reminded to put their safety first by performing the tasks depicted in the ad.

This advertising did not utilize any media manipulation; it simply attracted the intended audience's attention by using relevant facts, well-known characters, and a straightforward narrative to help the viewer picture the campaign's purpose. The campaign also used audience-friendly approaches while emphasizing the importance of everyone's cooperation in the campaign.

"Jollibee, Sarap Kasama ang Pamilya"

On November 21, 2020, the fast-food chain Jollibee released an advertisement with the phrase "Sarap Kasama ang Pamilya," depicting how the COVID-19 pandemic affected Filipino households. The advertising portrayed that, while the pandemic scenario remains alarming and scary, the pandemic has also brought families closer together as a result of the nationwide quarantine. The advertisement depicted several scenarios in which the family in the video is bonding over Jollibee's staple menu items. This advertisement is aimed at Filipinos, particularly those that appreciate and enjoy spending quality time with their families. Its target demographic is Filipino families in the Philippines and other countries; however, the message of this advertising isn't restricted to Filipinos, considering the customary practice of family bonding and togetherness may resonate with different nationalities across the globe.

We remained in our homes during the pandemic for comfort and assistance. This has advantages, such as more time alongside parents and daily routines of meals and bedtimes for the children. Still, it also proved burdensome for families regarding well-being, living circumstances, and finances ("Covid-19 and Families | Family"). The advertised fast food may not be the most convenient choice and should be consumed in moderation. Jollibee may be appealing to a lot of individuals, particularly Filipinos; nonetheless, consumers need to consider the nutritional value of the food being consumed and prioritize their overall well-being.

Furthermore, no media manipulation was used in the posted advertisement. The ad presented a simple message concerning the value of family and the connections between people that were developed through bonding. The advertisement managed to attract the audience's attention given that the Jollibee advertisement was lively and all of the visuals depicted a positive connection within the family.

His favourite thing about the culture? Probably how open the people were, they were very generous and kind.

When you first told him, he was kind of like, “okay??” but he also took time out of his day to research your culture, he’s the type to catch you in a sad mood where you really miss your country, and take time out of his day to try his best to make food from your culture.

He’s mastered to cook Tofu Sisig and Halo-Halo. You always ask him to make it for you whenever you’re sad.

He could never understand how your family’s able to sit in your traditional clothing, he tries his hardest not to scratch, he literally looks at you with a look begging for help because he was itchy but he didn’t want to take it off.

You had to explain that he doesn’t always have to participate in your culture, because respecting your culture was enough for you. Mans cried because he thought he was horrible for not wearing the Barong for the whole ceremony.

He does loves trying filipino recipes, he loves seeing you cook adobo or tapsilog in the morning, it just fills the house with an amazing aroma.

he knows how to say ‘i love you’ in Tagalog and he has fully replaced ‘I love you’ with ‘Mahal Kita.’ 

Favourite thing about the culture? The language, he just loves learning new words everyday, his favourite saying so far is, “Huwag kang mag-alala. Akong bahala.” (Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.)

Mikasa Ackerman

Poor baby was confused, she caught you talking on the phone in another language and she just stared concerningly at you, forgetting about whatever she’s doing.

She was also afraid to try your food?? Until you shove a ube-filled riceball (in filipino, Buchi) in her mouth, she ends up making it her comfort food, she asks you to make Buchi with her, she likes to eat the left over filling.

she actually wants to keep trying some of your culture’s food, her favourites so far is definitely Taho and Kaldereta, and of course Buchi.

She can’t say much in tagalog but she does know traditions, she did the binasuan dance with you once, amazingly she kept all cups in balance for her first time.

She knows how bless and actually calls people tita and tito, or ate and kuya. She was kind of, ahem, convinced, to call your parents nanay and tatay.

Your parents always complain about how you haven’t married Mikasa yet, Mikasa was confused about why she could hear them talking about her, but you reassured her that it was only just your parents egging you to marry Mikasa. In which she blushed in return.

Mikasa also learns recipes from Armin, those two cook for ther S/O’s so much that even their S/O feel like their not filipino enough, they got to try things even they didn’t know filipino culture had.

SUPRISINGLY, he knows what blessing is, went as far as saying “Mano po.” whenever he did.

Take a Taste with: Mini Stop Chicken Fillet XL Sandwich (w/ my Paper dolls) [Feb 7, 2022]

Hello! It’s time for another “Take a Taste”! Yes, I’ve made a series about delicious food with my two paper dolls. And in this episode, I wanna try another chicken sandwich from another brand, this time is from the "Mini Stop" (Philippines 🇵🇭) convenient store & their chicken sandwich called the "Chicken Fillet XL".🍗🍔 So, let's get through it.

• Okay first off, my apologize for the look. I put my order food inside my mini bag, and it doesn't look appetizing. Plus, their fried chicken patty is hot while I was walking, so now I'm back home from exercise walking, and the hot chicken patty went off (sort of). My paper dolls saying that it looks fine. Heheh, you think so? 😅

• One downside I've found is their cheese are not as great as other restaurants that offers burgers & chicken sandwiches. My paper dolls response: Sad.😟 Yeah, I've expect more than that, you know. But, their chicken patty looks promising to me. Well, time for the taste test! 😋

• Here's my 1st bite of Mini Stop's Chicken Fillet XL Sandwich. And uhh... I would say decent, yet not great as other chicken sandwiches (from fast food restaurants) that I've tasted before (Popeyes' U.S. Spicy Chicken Sandwich & Jollibee's Chick'nwich). Also, their buns are supposed to be big to fit the chicken patty. Another fail. 👎😕 My paper dolls totally agree my words, they should eat chicken sandwich elsewhere than this.

• Here's my 2nd bite. And nope, it's still decent taste as before. What do you think, you two? My paper dolls say they don't like it. Mmmm, you're right. Thumbs down for me. 😕👎

• Overall, for my Chicken Fillet XL Sandwich from Mini Stop (Philippines)... I mean, for only ₱49 ($0.95) it's an underwhelming chicken sandwich. But, it's totally cheap, so beggars can't be choosers. I don't appreciate their sliced cheese, it should be like from restaurants which are perfectly look. And their "large" ✌️ chicken patty is decent, yet not great taste in my opinion. So, should I buy another one? I'd say no.😒 Plus, their limited time through Feb 28th, so I won't get another one. They're tons of restaurants & other food establishments that offers great chicken sandwiches than from Mini Stop. Well, I better get back to my walking exercise to burn my fat.🚶📏

Bring it around town

Post Office: When’s the last time that you mailed a letter or a package to someone, and who was it to? I don’t think I’ve ever sent out a package. I’ve written letters to friends, but I’ve always given it directly to them.

Library: The last book that you checked out from the library? Was a book on Philippine history; needed it for a history class. I actually spilled some soup on the cover just before I needed to return it because there was one time I put a packed lunch in my bag, and apparently the oils from that managed to slither on over to the book. The book was old and yellowing so the oils eventually looked indistinguishable when I dried it out, but it was definitely not my finest moment.

Veterinarian: What was your pet’s last visit concerning? I wasn’t able to bring Cooper to the vet last weekend...so our last visit, which was last month, was for a couple of shots. I’ve forgotten what they were for.

Pet Store: Which animals do you tend to go check out first? I don’t go to pet stores. When I do spot them in malls, the first animals I see are dogs. And then I immediately feel bad seeing them in their tiny cages.

Drugstore: Last medication or item that you picked out from here? It was a couple of medications for the tooth extraction I had last December. One of them was for pain relief and the other was to stop bleeding just in case the area in my mouth that was worked on started to bleed profusely.

Grocery Store: Do you usually have a big list or a small list when you go? My parents do the grocery shopping; but speaking for them, I think the list is always big since we’re a family of five and we’re constantly running out of supplies lol. They certainly take a while every time they go to the grocery, so it’s a safe bet.

Church: Do you attend church every Sunday? Do you believe in God? We watch a livestream every Sunday; but no, I don’t believe. I’ve said this a thousand times but my mom is the most aggressive Catholic I know and she forces our entire family to attend/watch mass with her, even though she’s the only one who’s into the whole thing. 

I will say that the priest that we normally watch has very good insights and the things he says are applicable, relevant, and helpful even in my own little atheist life, so I've found myself looking forward to his homily every week. That’s the furthest I’ll go, though.

Bank: How much was the last check you deposited? How about the last amount that you took out? I just opened an account last month so the only money that’s in there so far is the minimum amount that my bank requires for someone to start an account. I did just finish my first month interning, so I’m now waiting to receive my cut from that and FINALLY GO ONLINE SHOPPING

Hospital: Have you ever been admitted into the emergency room? For what? Other than when I was being delivered, no. I’ve been to the hospital before but they were all non-emergency cases.

Doctor’s Office: What was the last doctor’s appointment that you had? Which type of a doctor? I honestly have no idea what his specialization is; my parents just brought me to him because he’s a good family friend. We went to him so that he can prescribe the proper medication for my UTI at the time. His recommendation did end up being wrong and I only got sicker so that was kinda disappointing, but I’ve mostly forgiven the whole thing lol.

Police Station: Have you ever been arrested before? Ridden in the back of  a police car? No to both of those, thank fuck.

Fire Station: Have you ever been a victim of a house fire? Not me, but I know of several people who have been.

School: When did you graduate high school? 2016.

Gas Station: How much gas can fit in your gas tank? If my tank is nearly empty and I’d want to fill it all the way up, I have to pay a little over P1000 for it.

Mechanics: Does your vehicle break down a lot? Nope. Other than the battery dying a couple of times throughout the time I’ve had it, it’s never broken down on me *while* I’m driving. That used to be one of my biggest anxieties as a student, but fortunately it never happened.

Clothing Store: What’s the last clothing item you bought from a store, and which store was it? I got several colors of the same top with puffed sleeves from an ukay-ukay. Ended up only wearing one of them outside once because the lockdown was passed down a week after.

Bookstore: Do you prefer to get your books new or used? It doesn’t really matter to me. If I spot a book I’ve been looking for/a book I find interesting whether I’m in a bookstore or in a used book store, I get my hands on it as long as I can afford it. The feeling of owning a fresh new book is always nice, but it’s also just as satisfying if I buy a book that’s like P500 down from its original price.

Coffee Shop/Cafe: What do you typically order when you go here? Iced caramel macchiato and a pastry, usually a chocolate doughnut, croissant, or flatbread.

Fast Food Restaurant: What are a few of your favorites? KFC, McDonald’s, Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Popeye’s.

Sit-Down Restaurant: What’s the longest you’ve ever had to wait before being seated? It was like 5 or 6 hours, I don’t remember anymore. But it was for Popeye’s grand opening in the Philippines and we didn’t anticipate how many people were gonna go for it on a weekday haha. We were all so grumpy by the time we got our food.

Dentist: Have you ever had a cavity before? How about a root canal? A tooth pulled? Braces? I’ve had three of those - I’ve had braces (and need them again), a tooth extracted, and a cavity. Idk what a root canal is but I’ve never heard a dentist use that term around me.

Movie Theater: Last movie you saw in theaters before the pandemic hit? Knives Out.

Art Gallery: Which art forms do you appreciate the most? I can look at oil paintings all day. I also love dioramas, especially if they’re illustrating historical events or historical places/cities. One of my favorite museums showcases Philippines’ entire history through dioramas (I think they have around 60 in total) and I have never gotten sick of going through them.

Zoo: What is your favorite zoo animal that you would like to set free? All of them. I’ve never felt nice visiting zoos, especially if the living conditions for the animals obviously suck, or if the cages are small, etc (which is the case for the most part). I prefer safaris or eco-parks, because even though they have the same concept at least the animals there have more space to move around.

Aquarium: Favorite kind of fish? I don’t really have one. I suppose stingrays look cool, but I’ll always remember them as the fish that killed Steve Irwin, so there’s that.

Museum: What kinds of artifacts fascinate you? Anything that shows everyday life of people from the past. I don’t really care for grander exhibits like replicas of galleon ships, but if you can show me the kind of plates people ate from, belts and jewelry that they wore, utensils they used, older bills and coins, etc., I’d be all over those. Animal fossils and bones are also always fun to see.

Amusement Park: Favorite ride to go on? Octopus, because that’s the only daring ride I’m willing to go on.

Courthouse: Have you ever gone to court before? Nopes.

Hotel/Motel: Where were you, the last time you stayed at a hotel? Cavite was my last hotel stay; but the last time I was at a hotel in general, it's the hotel my mom works in, somewhere in Metro Manila.

Club: What is the last song that you danced to? Caught In the Middle by Paramore. I think.

Bar: What’s your favorite alcoholic drink? Zombie and Long Island Iced Tea are my favorite cocktails. As for hard drinks, I usually go for tequila but I’m down to take any shot lol.

County Jail: Is there anyone that you’ve visited in jail? I’ve never done that.

Airport: Are you more likely to fly in an airplane, or pick people up/drop them off at the airport? Pick someone up/bring them to the airport. That’s literally how it is with my dad every few months because he works overseas.

Train Station: Have you ever ridden a train before? Just the once.

Concert Venue: What’s the last concert you saw? Paramore.

Sports Arena: Which sporting event would you be most likely to sit through? Pro wrestling or volleyball. Basketball is also fun to watch, but me never learning how the rules work has always ruined the viewing experience for me.

Memories that I will never forget.

The very first time na hinatid moko sa bahay. I came home, and told everyone na hinatid ako ng crush ko. Hindi ako along the way pauwi mo, pero hinatid moko.

Sobrang tagal na bago ako sumakay ng motor ulit, tapos sobrang bilis mo mag patakbo eh ang hawak ko sa buntot ng motor. Then you told me na ihug ka. And I did. I was smiling the whole time, but I don't know if you saw it sa side mirrors mo.

Nung nag bibiro lang naman ako na mag sorry ka sa personal, tapos pinuntahan moko ng bahay. Nag usap tayo sa waiting shed. Lol. Tapos tinanong mo ako ng "ba't ka nahhurt" :) That day was the first photo I had with you that I didn't have to crop everyone else out of the photo para mag tayo lang yung tira.

Every conversation at night ends open kasi nakakatulog ka, and the next day you would text me "Sorry nakatulog ako kagabi" then the conversation continues.

Remember that time I wrote a long ass essay here in tumblr of why you shouldn't choose me and that was okay? We met later that day. I was letting you go. You cried. Then I realized I must really mean something to you.

When you asked me to make your project (wedding invitation), and I asked you who to put. You said tayong dalawa na very casual. Sobrang kinilig ako, syempre crush na crush kita eh.

When everytime na sinusuyo moko, pinupudpod moko ng sorry stickers + nakahug.

When everytime you're out with friends, sometimes you'd want to see me and hug me, so leave them for 10 mins para pumunta sa bahay, mayakap lang ako.

Nung ako na lagi mo kasama mag grocery instead na sina kuya mo, and lalo na when they left. Tapos nasa cart natin are diapers, milk, all baby stuff, tapos tinitingnan tayo ng mga tao cause they think may baby na tayo. I lowkey like it tho. Everytime, I would pretend that we are living together, and that was normal.

Na pag am duty ka, automatic, magkasama tayo after duty mo. Kakain sa labas, maglalakad lakad.

How everytime one topic ends and we need to think of another one, you'd tell me you love me.

My whole stay in Macau with you and your family. Our petty fights, just sitting next to each other chatting kasi we were fighting, or sitting next to each other scrolling on social media. Yung monthsary date natin sa mcdonalds. Yung lakad lakad natin sa san malo na nabubusog tayo dahil sa free taste— hanggang sa nag bitbit na tayo ng plastic to put everything. We even found a spot to go to hide and put everything inside. Everything I hold close to my heart

Pag special yung araw automatic may bulaklak ako kasi I always force you, and you know how much it means to me.

The very first time you posted me on your ig. Hindi pa tayo nun. Sobrang random. I'm not worthy lol. Ni hindi nga ako nakatingin nun. Tapos yung mga post mo sa ig nun na mukha ko or tayong dalawa. I didn't have to tell you na mag post ka 'cause you do it anyway. Minsan surprised pako, gaya nalang nung hindi kita pinapansin tapos pinicturan moko with a caption "silent treatment". Those random things I appreciate and love about you.

Our anniversaries. I always make it to a point that I'd give you something na pinag isipan ko and pinag effortan ko. Kasi I wanted you to feel that I would always go out of my way to make you feel special 'cause you deserve effort.

Those small notes I would put on you helmet or in your bag, anywhere. Cause I know it made you feel kilig inside, also I wanted to remind you that I love you. That everytime I'd pass by your building, I thought of you.

Eto pa, times na nag eexpire unli ko tapos makikitext ako sa friends ko na expired na unli ko, in 5 minutes meron ako marreceive na pasa load lol. Made me feel na you really wanted to talk to me.

Times na nakikisabay ka sa friends natin para pakiligin si other friend natin na involve ako, I know how awkward it was for you kasi lowkey naglalandian na tayo lol.

Ay. That time we want to Naga with our friends, nung pauwi tayo, I woke up na hawak mo kamay ko. Aminin ko I was kilig, shocked, and hiya kasi hindi malambot kamay ko and baka naturnoff ka.

Yung mga lakad natin na nakamotor tayo tapos uulan. Nasa ilalim ako ng coat mo nakahug sayo. Tapos minsan pag di kaya, mag sstop tayo kung saan.

That time din na you helped me with my project. Sa jollibee imperial tayo nun kasi walang kuryente. Also nag stay ka din sa bahay hanggang past 9 para matapos yung project ko.

I didn't mind doing you reflection papers, essays, editing your thesis or anything that involves microsoft word, kasi I was good at it and I love you.

All the times I was there sa mga events mo, not even events kahit trainings, andyan yung girlfriend. But you didn't mind having me there. You insisted having me there, so you're classmates got used to it, and they liked me kahit di ko naman sila kausap.

For all the times na may errands ka, I was always there and I loved it so much. Tapos pag may questions, ako yung magtatanong.

Our jollibee moments, may one phase tayo na lagi tayo jabee, you would always order yung supreme na meal with egg, and then one time I tried it kasi naiingit ako sayo, and I loved it.

Also, uncle ton's. Lagi uncle ton's with the same order everytime hanggang sa nagsawa tayo.

How we plan things, how you make to do lists, and to buy lists.

Yung mga night outs natin na lagi tayo time concious kasi may curfew ako. Sobrang bilis mo mag patakbo ng motor. Tapos naluluha ako sa hangin then sasabihin ko sayo may tears ako lol

Lahat ng efforts mo to make me smile or laugh pari bati na tayo. Example: breakdance mo.

Yung time na natatae ako. Tapos nahihiya pako mag sabi nun sayo sa BU kasi bago palang tayo. Kaso di ko kinaya and sinabi ko sayo tapos tawa ka ng tawa, then nanandya ka pang mag patakbo ng mabagal nung malapit na tayo sa bahay. Di ka pwede makita kasi nakamotor tayo kaya sa 711 ka tumambay tapos nag lakad ako after para imeet ka dun.

How could I forget yung nag asikaso ako ng scholarship money back sa dswd tapos sinamahan moko.. then sinama moko sa bahay nyo, that was there very first time I met your family and relatives from cabanatuan. Iniwan mo pako sa dining table with them habang tawa tawa ka sa sofa sa gilid kasi alam mo sobrang hiya ako.

Pag may kinicrave akong nakikita ko sa newsfeed, yun kinakain natin kasi alam mo gusto ko.

Potato corner, turks, tapsilog, pizza, batchoy, lomi, calamares, etc etc etc

Funny moments na tawa tawa tayo. I would never forget that time you forgot na kasama moko, and was already on your way back to BU.

Rough roads na dinaanan natin in the relationship when we thought we'd break up for real but ends up always running back to each other kahit sobrang lala nung away. Cool off ng 1 day lol

I love when you hold my hand pag tatawid.

I love when you try to make me laugh pag galit ako sayo.

Also remember that time na nag away tayo sa bday ng friend natin that we went home early kaso umiiyak ako kaha diniretso mo tayo sa Puro so we can talk kasi sabi mo ayaw moko umuwi ng ganun. I was crying tapos kinausap moko and nag sorry ka. Then nung nakauwi na tayo, you told me it broke your heart seeing me like that. And that made me love you even more.

Yung marriage booth sainyo nun na kunwari pako ayaw ko kasi nakakahiya but deep inside kilig na kilig ako and thankful kila nikki lol.

Yung times din na nagsusulat pako sa diary ko tapos lagi moko kinukulit na pabasa.

Yung hinatid moko and you waited the very first time na nag apply ako maging flight attendant.

Nung sabay tayo grumaduate.

All our big and small achievements that we were there for each other. And how 11 was our number.

Sabay tayo nag "adulting". Magkasama sa lahat ng bagay.

Pag busy, mag make time padin kahit isang oras magkita. Lomi saglit, batchoy saglit. Yung kahit sobrang busy mo, you made time to see me. You made ways kahit mag kaaway tayo. I loved that about you. You made me feel how much you value me.

That time I forced you na dapat lagi moko hug and kiss kahit sa cheeks or ulo pag magkikita tayo, and I saw at the begging how uncomfortable it was for you lalo na pag may tao kasi nahihiya ka. Kasi ayaw mo pda.

May mga araw na gentleman ka na ikaw magbibit bit ng bag ko.

Yung nag aapply apply palang ako for the job I really wanted. After ko mag ayos, mag sesend ako pic and you would tell me na ang ganda ko. Tapos ieencourage moko na kaya ko.

Pag pinag uusapan natin dreams natin. Our jobs, our future together. Alin mauuna na bilhin, bahay or kotse. Kung bahay muna bago ikasal. All these things made me so happy kasi I was part of your plans. All the way.

For all the times you showed me how relevant my feelings are to you. How certain things made me uncomfortable and you try your best to not make me feel that way. How certain things upset me so you would think about me first. For all the times you included me.

When you would go to family gatherings with me and that one time without me. You showed me how my family became yours too.

Yung mga beses na ikaw sinusundo moko sa airport whether we were okay or not. You're there.

Pag may duty ka sa alis ko, kahit di ka mag sundo sakin but you made sure you make it before I go inside the airport.

Video calls you initiated. Morning and night messages.

Hugs and kisses.

Dreaming together.

It also makes me happy how each step to get you to where you are now, I was part of it all. Kasi when we were still dreaming, I've always said to myself na tulungan tayo, na hindi ka mag iisa. That I would be there as much as you need me to be. It makes me so happy to know where you are.

I could go on and on about a lot of things. Pero sobrang haba na nito, so I'll just end it here. I still have a lot of good memories with you, things I can't share with anyone else. Intimate moments (funny ones too), as well as moments that are just for us. Also memories that I could write and chose not to 'cause that's for me to cherish alone. I just want to say that it was a great almost 6 years of knowing you. Besides your family, I'll be the most proud when you become a nurse there 'cause I think besides your family, I'm the only one who knew what you've been through, the good and bad. I declared myself your bestfriend. There may be moments that I'm the only one who knew, right? All these memories I will keep forever. 'Cause no matter what ugly moments we had, everything gets washed out by these wonderful memories. It's painful remembering all these, but it's the kind of pain that makes you smile too.

Life is fucking weird.

My 24th birthday.

It was really something.

I wasn’t able to celebrate it the way I was supposed to.. Everything fell apart when he left.

I was supposed to celebrate it with my family and friends instead— but NCOV happened.

A FUCKING PANDEMIC.

Just when all hope was lost, all excitement has been shunned cause of what you did and of the quarantine, here’s what’s good that came out of it:

—my dear family surprised me with a 23+1—Jollibee birthday quarantine,

—my bestfriend wrote me a 3-page letter,

—I posted an “It is my birthday” picture at “The Office” group page, and I got 1,100k+ likes from different strangers around the world to greet and appreciate my day,

—I got to meet a new person, a stranger who became my friend,

—AND LASTLY, I and my family, got featured in the news, as a birthday quarantine headline.

I don’t know what the fuck is happening. It’s so random, and I have no words to describe how I feel.. oh wait—it’s a motherfucking roller coaster ride.

..and after all of this, all that has happened, there’s only one thing I think about, one thing I’m waiting for, one thing I was hoping for...you. But nope..nothing.

that song he volumed up on the car for me to hear, and I had another fucking breakdown.. Nice.

At this point, he still has no fucking clue of how much pain I feel, this unbearable suffering he caused has been haunting me since he left.. I just loved him so much, I thought he was the one, cause he was, for me.

9/13/18 Rize Liveshow Notes

- They were actually on time right at 12pm ET.

- Phil is wearing his glasses.

- They sung the Lion King theme to greet us.

- “Dan and Phil in MAN!”

- They got offended when we teased them about actually being on time.

- Phil said the jet lag is really bothering him and he’s barely awake.

- Phil is a delirious mess and has one hour left in him before he passes out.

- Phil said they were on a plane for the past while and Dan said, “Oh no, we swam here from Sydney.”

- Phil almost got deported because the security lady asked where his hotel was and where they were performing the show. He had no idea where the addresses for them.

- Dan pushed Phil forward in the queue.

- All of that could’ve been prevented had Dan gone first because he knew all the needed information.

- Phil had some noodles that he thought were Philippine.

- “No one wants to hear about your mystery meat.”

- The weather is very bad and rainy in Manila.

- “Dan, have you written the mpreg?” “Not yet.”

- If you stand in a field and your hair starts to stand up on its own, you’re likely to get hit struck by lightning.

- Lots of honking in traffic in Manila.

- “Katie said I’ll honk you.” Phil: *horrified face*.

- Sims video coming soon and it’s one to be remembered.

- They want us to open the last gaming video in one tab and watch them on Rize on the other. Comment on the video saying “I’m watching you on Rize!”

- They watched Bodyguard on the plane. Dan replied to emails.

- It took eight hours to fly from Sydney to Manila. They didn’t understand why.

- Dan started making the noises of the plane and went crazy from being on the plane so long. Dan said it was because he could make the same exact noise. Phil was going insane and wanted him to stop.

- They didn’t realize that they were legit in the Rainforest when Martyn invited them to come stay with them. They thought it was on the beach.

- Phil got some freckles from being by the pool.

- “Phil got that D.”

- “Did you enjoy that D?” “I lapped it up.”

- They went on a cable car that had a glass bottom.

- Never go on a cable car with Martyn because he will rock it.

- Phil: “But then you had a great time.” Dan: “I had a great time.”

- Phil got attacked by a plant.

- The beach was also deadly.

- DANGERUSSY (JULIA!!)

- There were tons of crocodiles.

- Phil made noises at Dan and Dan said control himself.

- Phil is ready for a microsleep. Dan yelled at him.

- “If Dan and Phil were a superhero duo, what would their powers be?” was the Truth Bomb question.

- Someone said that both of their superhero powers would be messing with their sleep schedule.

- Someone else had no idea what to say. Dan and Phil said their power would definitely be blanking.

- Someone else said their super powers would be attracting weird people and things to them.

- Messing up everyone’s sleep schedule was the winner.

- They dragged three people on the screen and kept them all on screen the entire time.

- “Look at Phil right now. Look at this broken human right now.”

- “Phil is going to fill Manila with his filler.”

- They are still working on TBC dates. They said they are not allowed to say anything about it, which is why they can’t.

Perks of having a sweet Field Engineer boyfriend:

From Katipunan (his first site of the day), to SM Makati Ayala (to cheer me and treat me lunch before my job interview), to GMA-Kamuning (his second site of the day), back to Jollibee Mckinley Exchange (to meet me after my interview and to ear dinner), and to Baclaran Heritage (to accompany me to ride a bus because I won't let him take me home since we have morning schedule tomorrow), going home to Pasig City.

I am really amazed and thankful for all his sweetness and efforts. He became my morning alarm clock, waking me up every 10 mins because he knows I'll just get back to sleep after he called and I really need to be early. He became my waze/human map even though he's not also familiar, because he knows I don't have any idea with the address and I easily get lost. He became my cheerleader, who cheers me up everytime I'll get a job interview and believes in me even when I don't believe in myself. He became my happy pill, throwing random jokes just to make me smile and ease my weariness. And a kiss machine, if you know what I mean.

This post is just a simple appreciation post.

I am genuinely grateful for having a one of a kind boyfriend. Your efforts and sweetness were nothing compare to what I've done. There were times that I bully you, maybe a lot, but it's just because I miss you. I am so much thankful that someone like you loves me more than what I deserve and I  want you to know (if ever you might read this and for sure you do, stalker kita eh haha) that I love you, always! *kiss*
