- it's been a while since i posted jjba content, it's also been a while since i posted overall. this probably isn't much but for right now until i recover from this burnout, it's all i have. i hope you enjoy :)

at times like these, bruno notices almost immediately that something's up when he walks into your shared home and is met with an eerie silence. it's not long before he's rushing into the bedroom in search of you, only to find you curled up in bed—hidden under covers as you trembled and sniffled lightly. his touch is gentle when he rests his hand on your quivering shoulder, voice even softer as he speaks—asking about what's troubling you.

"what's wrong, mia cara" whether you tell him or not, he encourages you to release whatever tears remain as he holds you, giving you a shoulder to cry on and lots of forehead, nose, and cheek kisses as he tries to soothe you. once you've calmed down, he'll ask if there's anything you want—either a necessity or just something you want, he's getting it without a second thought. he just loves you so much and wants to do all he can for you.

now joesph...is kind of a jerk when he finds you crying at first. he'd baby talk you as he pinches, squishes your cheeks, and flicks your forehead or nose while laughing his ass off, but when he notices that you're not giving him any snappy remarks, slapping his hands away, or laughing with him, that's when he knows something's wrong and he's actually worried.

and when he starts asking you what happened, he almost sounds like a fly that's been buzzing in your ear for god knows how long, but you know he means well, especially when he's giving you the warmest and tightest hug he can—holding you against his chest as you let his heartbeat calm your uneven breathing. he's definitely babying you for the rest of the day and he might tease you a teeny tiny bit, but only to make you laugh.

josuke would probably think he did something to cause you to feel this way and if that's the case, bro's apologizing profusely (please, he's so sorry). whatever the problem might be, expect lots—and i mean lots of short sloppy kisses all over your face while he whispers tons of "I'm sorry" or "it's ok" onto your face. he might refrain from asking what the problem is both out of fear and because he doesn't want to cross boundaries or upset you even more.

but he'll spoil you rotten for the entire week cause he wants you—his everything—to feel better and he wants you to know how much he loves you. cuddles, kisses, hugs, naps together, movie night, whatever the hell you want is exactly what he's gonna give you maybe even before you ask. (he'd probably cry w you, on a serious note).

i think that jotaro would sit there and wait for you to tell him what's wrong so he'll know if it's serious or not—if it's serious he'll stay and listen to what you have to say, but if it's not like you're crying because something is out of stock or something, he's leaving the room and not even sparring you a second glance.

anyway, if you need any type of physical affection, he'd be able to tell from your body language or if you ask him for it but either way, he's not gonna not give you what you want...he's a really good listener, would literally sit there and listen to all that you have to say with no interruptions and he'd cuddle with you until you fall asleep cause he needs to know that you're actually okay, but he's not leaving your side. at all.

ok listen, not exactly like josuke, but i think giorno would be such a sweetheart. he'd ask if you'd wanna talk about it and would be content listening to whatever you say to him while he's holding you in his arms to bring your frantic mind to a slow so you can focus on what you want to say. would definitely cuddle with you in bed—you'll pass out in like less than 20 minutes so yeah.

It’s no surprise that Jonathan would be the best and most caring husband ever. Every morning, whenever he’s not at work, he’d try to make your day as comfortable as possible.

Every morning, you’d wake up with an empty bed — with no one except you. You’d frown upon realising that Jonathan wasn’t with you anymore. However, on other days, you’d wake up to one side of the bed being perfectly made. Then, the smell of your favourite food would fill your senses.

Moments later, Jonathan would be in your doorway with a tray filled with your favourite breakfast.

He’d greet you with a big smile and would sit beside you as he feeds you the meal he cooked.

JOSEPH JOESTAR

Joseph would definitely be a heavy sleeper and would have all of his limbs tangled up with yours. He likes to keep an arm around your body at night but when you both would wake up in the morning, all of your limbs would be tangled up.

You’d be the first to wake up and on your side would be the slumbering figure of Joseph.

However, as you tried to move away from his grasp, he’d also begin to stir and eventually wake up as well.

He’d be the lightest sleeper ever. Any small movement of sorts would get him to wake up.

Moreover, he’s an early bird. He’d be up at around 6 in the morning and would leave you for his work. Before leaving, though, he’d leave a small kiss on your forehead even though he knows you’re still fast asleep.

Occasionally, whenever his job isn’t occupying his schedule, he’d be beside you and wouldn’t leave you alone.

You’d wake up to the sight of Jotaro sitting beside you on your bed and you’d be delighted due to him being with you.

You’d greet him with a smile and he’d reciprocate the action.

Your entire day would be spent with him — making up for the time you both lost.

JOSUKE HIGASHIKATA

It’s rare for you and Josuke to be sleeping with one another due to your parents however, on some occasions, you and Josuke are both found in his or your houses.

You both would go to bed really late and would wake up late too. Like his dad, he’d also have his limbs tangled with you: he’d be on his side with his arm wrapped around your abdomen. Sometimes, his face would also be resting on your chest.

Whatever little thing you busy yourself with, he finds a way to come around. Sometimes it just happens to align with his father’s request to fetch something. Just maybe he twists things around to something you like, even if it only keeps you around for a few extra seconds.

Joseph

The biggest trickster there is, it’s near impossible to try and get out of anything with Joseph. “Mmm, you already used that one” He gives you a quick wink. He knows where you hang out mostly, and can easily tell if you’re not the “ruffian” type. If you’re a bit snarky yourself, he does his best to make you slip up. Or if he’s really determined waste enough time that you don’t have to bother with that other “task” you had to do.

Jotaro

Blunt. To put it lightly, Yare Yare leaves his lips as soon as you stumble through an excuse. He knows how efficiently you may or may not get things done. Anything you’re usually not fond of makes him raise an eyebrow (immediate suspicion if it’s possibly just to impress some other person). It almost feels like an interrogation when he asks the sudden interest in whatever you spilled out. Forget trying to do anything dumb, fib or otherwise he’s not letting you do it. Even if you do manage to slip off and go out on your own, Jotaro is around somewhere.

Josuke

Similar to Joseph he’s pretty on top of silly excuses, because he’s probably made up a thing or two himself. The best course of action for him is making up an excuse himself to get into whatever you made up on the fly. If you ask, he tells you he doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Even if it’s obvious he’s lying to you, he makes it nigh impossible to leave “hey that’s what you said you were doing”.

Giorno

He definitely knows the ins and outs about you, so lying won’t likely get you very far. Besides every little excuse you do make, he seems to always have a counter for. It’s almost freaky, if you don’t know how much Giorno negotiates. Though there’s times he let’s you go on the basis of a flimsy lie. Rest assured though something goes missing and it always leads back to him. Anything out of the ordinary for you is promptly taken care of, “That’s a rather interesting way to try to keep away from me” He’d tell you in a friendly tone.

Jolyne

Like her father she can be pretty blunt herself, even insists it’s not a great idea to stray too far. The little excuses you make are intriguing to her, but she counters with her own plans. Sometimes she’ll get you lipstick and see if you’ll wear it out later, depending on what you told her you were supposedly doing that day. Little runarounds with you keep her on her toes making sure you don’t run off. Simple things like getting you to spend extra time with her, with her own little excuses. Eventually there might be a time your handcuffed to her bed, for a day or two. “Don’t you ever get tired of making up stuff? It’d just be easier being here with me you know, I’ve got your back”

Johnny

He’s rather scary when you make up something on the fly to avoid him. His blue eyes bore into your soul, unless he uses spin there’s usually nothing much he can do. As he improves however, the space between the two of you slowly shrinks. Johnny makes it certain one way or another your attention is drawn back to himself. He notes everything you do, so if you don’t “have” something he either has an extra or absolutely knows you have an item. Similar likely happens with your horses habits. From what Jotaro heard he knew exactly what you meant, it was something he witnessed a lot when it come to interacting with you. Honestly it's a bit surreal any time the OVA goes completely off script and just starts doing its own thing but I think the episode that is the most surreal out of context is probably episode 3. This one sequence in particular always makes me think 'what the fuck am I watching' but in a good way?

Like instead of the [REDACTED] that was happening in the manga storyline the OVA just has four solid minutes of uninterrupted footage of The Gang running around on an extremely atmospheric abandoned ship alongside two admittedly endearing Speedwagon Foundation OCs. Nothing else happens, they're just exploring a cool set piece and it's spooky and mysterious.

It's like the screenwriters and storyboarders were just like 'hey what if Team Joestar were just exploring this huge dark abandoned area together would that be tight or what lmao' and then they went and made it real through the collective power of an animation studio. Imagine being able to just go and do that.

Oh Kakyoin this is why you’re my favorite

Rewatched a couple episodes of SDC including Wheel of Fortune and just seeing all the SDC members thoughtlessly beating up these innocent civilians, except for Kakyoin who I guess just…. STOOD THERE AND LET IT HAPPEN AHAHHAHA

He may have let it happen but the fact he didn’t join in only made me appreciate him more. I love my polite boy <3

summer breeze

some of my jojo favs with summer activities. includes: abbacchio, mista, jotaro, dragona, joseph & suzi q, and johnny

author’s note: using he/him pronouns for dragona! if they end up changing in the future i can edit :) some are longer than others but i swear im not biased, just more inspo and ideas. also joseph/suzi/reader poly ftw!

Abbacchio: It’s such a nice day out that it seems the entire city has opened up their yard sales, estate sales, stores- you name it. Not one to stay cooped up inside while the sun shines so brightly, you drag Leone out to various houses and streets that you think will pique his interest. “Look, this one says goth yardsale!” you tease, tugging his hand towards the shoddy little gray house. 

    He looks so good today (he always looked good and exceptionally done up) with his long hair tied into a messy bun, a few strands coming loose and framing his face so nicely. This sale in specific ends up being a score and you return to your car down the street with a worn paperback (“you’ve never read interview with the vampire?! Leone!”), varying lace and leather clothing items in black and grey, and the cutest little antique lamp you had ever seen. You make a trip to the record store on your way back home and he buys two cds: sisters of mercy and moody blues of course. Your evening is spent dancing slowly in the living room and finding spots to put your new goodies.

Mista: Taking a trip to the lake with your favorite boys, but not after stopping at the store for floaties of course. Mista has the genius idea: “let’s bring an air mattress!” despite your caution you cave and leave with one air mattress, a giant inflatable alligator, and two sparkly donut floaties. 

    At the lake you spend far too long wasting your breath blowing it up- until Fugo raises an eyebrow “why don’t you just use the air mattress fan on the other floaties?” Oh right… Yeah that would make things easier… After applying generous amounts of sunscreen on to everyone (Mista didn’t need much, he tanned easily and without fear of being burnt) you all head into the water. The chill of the lake water feels so nice on your heat-soaked bodies after being in the sun for so long setting up. 

    You drag the inflatable mattress out and wade until the water is about chest-deep. Mista hops on to the mattress and you’re almost afraid it’ll start sinking under his weight but it stays surprisingly afloat. “Well, aren’t you going to join me?” He grins at you, shaking water out of his dark curls. You accept his hand and he pulls you on top of him on the mattress, holding you in a strong and very warm embrace. The mattress ends up floating way far out to the middle of the lake, but you two are on either side with your hands in the water, unbothered and ready to deal with this problem when you got to it later. 

    “This was actually a really good idea.” you turn to face him and smile softly. He leans on one of his elbows to turn to face you as well, but quickly pales as he realizes his mistake. The uneven weight of his elbow on the mattress had pushed it down and water had quickly started pooling, sinking his side of the mattress. You shrieked as he rolled into the water and you could hear Narancia’s laugh all the way from the other side of the lake. It only got louder when Mista swam around the other side and wrapped his strong arms around your waist, pulling you into the water with him and pressing kisses against the side of your face. 

Jotaro: Last minute trips to the store to get sandcastle supplies, even though you know you’ll have to convince him to build one with you. You end up buying snacks too, perfect for a little picnic by the water. Once you reach the beach you end up using the plastic yellow pails to collect shells and rocks instead of their original purpose, but you’d never complain. “This one matches your eyes!” you hold a pretty turquoise pebble up to his face and squint, comparing the color. He laughs softly and takes it, adding the rock to your growing collection to bring back home. 

    While you’re setting up the picnic, he silently searches for a rock of your own: he didn’t even have to look over at your face, knowing the color of your eyes by heart. A lifetime of stolen glances studying your face and staring at the details of your eyes, lips, nose too when you weren’t looking back at him.  After lunch you two finally get into the water, tiny fish swimming around your feet and sand between your toes. You squeal when he picks you up effortlessly by your waist and tosses you into the water, but you get your revenge after coming back up for air and jumping onto his back with your legs wrapped around his waist, effectively splashing him. His hair is so curly after he comes out of the water and you make him lean down so you can towel dry it ever so carefully. 

Dragona: Sticky sweet hands splitting apart fruits to share, ice cold drinks sweating water droplets on to your chests, the smell of sunscreen and coconut body lotion. Matching swimsuits and sunbathing together after a long day of swimming and running around the beach. Dragona practically glows in the sun and you can’t help but stare from behind your huge sunglasses. He grins at you and rolls on to his side, striking a pose and inviting you to keep staring. 

    The sun is so warm and you’re so happy, you wish you could just lay here forever with him and take a cat-nap in the sun. But alas, you’ve made plans for dinner and you have to go get changed- the restaurant was casual but not swimsuit casual. That feeling on vacation of pulling loose fitting dresses and shirts over your swimsuit and sitting down outside to share your food, a nice warm breeze passing by. Showers are due once you get home and you have a feeling you’ll be sleeping so soundly after the long day you’ve had. You trace the tattoos on his skin and fall asleep against his chest, lulled by the sound of crashing waves.

Joseph and Suzi Q: waking up early to take the ferry together to a tiny, homely island. Visiting a huge lavender farm and spending hours just wandering and picking the perfect bouquets for all three of you. Tucking a flower into Joseph’s hair, right behind his ear while he leans down to give you a better angle. Weaving daisies into Suzi Q’s hair and giggling when she returns the favor. Laying in the grass under the shade of a huge tree, eating runny ice cream and sharing bites. Screaming and scrambling away when the bees buzz a bit too close: “you’ve fought a god but you can’t handle a bumble bee???” On the ferry back home Joseph falls asleep on your shoulder and snores softly in your ear- you run a hand through his unruly hair and Suzi snaps a pic for you two to tease him over later.

Johnny: The sun is almost finished setting, beautiful shades of orange and purple floating through the sky and casting an amber glow on your faces. You two sit on the steps of the porch, content to sit and stare at the sky while the radio plays from the open kitchen window. You can smell dinner cooking inside, as well as the faint smoky smell of a campfire being started in the backyard. It’s a perfect temperature outside, warm with a faint cool breeze, and you turn your head to stare at Johnny who’s still gazing up at the sky. 

    You wish you could live in this moment forever, counting the freckles scattered across his cheeks and nose, admiring the way his lashes brush against his face- god he was so pretty. His eyes meet your own and you blush, scooting away in embarrassment of having been caught. “See something you like sweetheart?” He muses, taking a hold of your hand and tugging you back over to him, closer than before. Music drifts in and out through the window but the moment is interrupted when Gyro calls you two to dinner. With a smile you stand up and dust off your jeans, holding out your arm out for Johnny to take with his own strong one as you help him to his cane resting against the kitchen door frame. Dinner was in the backyard of course, why else make a campfire?
