-spheer has a treenut allergy. idk, they just look like they would lol -ajaceare has a love-hate relationship with the harry potter franchise. like you bet your ass she'd know every single fact about it. -pentellow is pansexual. pantellow. -circubit cut his hair in his corrupted form. -iris is convinced via pentellow's cooking that al dente pasta is undercooked -pyrare would own a van if he had any type of vehicle -cubic would blast eminem in their headspace. just to piss cube off. -once circubit unmasks (if he even does mask at all) he becomes the most autistic motherfucker you'll ever meet. like once you accidentally bring up his spinterest there's no going back -circubit has chromesthesia (i once brought this up to brittany - the tpc creator brittany, not my headmate brittany - she probably saw it as a request so it might not end up as canon. oh well) -pentellow would abso-fucking-lutely be voiced by athena karkanis. ok maybe its because her nickname is a baking item, or because of her general personality, but yeah. (ok maybe she reminds me of sheree, so what) -ajaceare owns a bunch of potted plants. not just any potted plants, though. the specific gay ones. like the ones that lesbian witch cat-owners have. so in other words ajaceare is the epitome of lesbian. -dub has never tried tiger tiger ice cream (the orange and licorice one) and refuses to try it solely because "what kind of ice cream is orange" -cyanide has probably spent at least $150 from dub's bank account on claire's stuff. and 85% of it is pusheen merch. -iris grew up with watching salad fingers and jacksepticeye. -purpex is an esfp. -cintagon is autistic. idk they just dont seem allistic to me -pentellow's favourite total drama island character would be lindsay. -circubit's favourite total drama island character is chris mclean; he probably said "alright campers, todays challenge is..." every 3 seconds in his tdi phase. -cyanide enjoys murder drones -dub has tried to use corruption to make his hair fluffier -cube and cubic are literally just yin-yang from inanimate insanity. Ok so a little bit of a storytime with Mr. Iris here! So, I was absolutely obsessed with pink corruption in 2020, and wanted to make a headcanon of Iris that he used magic instead of a sword.

Eventually this headcanon grew into a completely different character, with a different backstory and design. His personality was definitely switched from a grumpy, serious and intimidating guy, to a friendly, strict, grumpy and sweet Old dad❤️

He's probably my oldest JSAB oc, since the headcanon became his own character around late 2020 who just shared the same name as the TPC character.

So yeah here's his ref sheet! He's surprisingly my 2nd most simped for character, as Tsav is the 1st!

Likewise Blix’s last name is Heros (pronounced “hair-ohs”), to know what the one is, look up “heros arthropoda” :)

Cube’s last name is Sequoia, and Lycan’s is Berzerker

LGBTQ+ HCs! Cube is bi, Hound is pan, the Knights are all aroace, Lycan is a child so I haven’t said anything on that front for obvious reasons, Blix is cis-het but he is an ally(!), Cuda is also aroace, and the Tree is lesbian :]

The process of Lycan making more clones is informally called “lytosis”, with the clones being called lyclones (thanks to the server for those!)

Blix is deathly afraid of cucumbers

Cuda doesn’t use his mouth to speak, instead shapes like him have a specialized organ in their chests that vibrates to produce the sound of a voice. Since they are not limited by a voice box or the shape of a mouth, however, they can mimic almost any sound they hear. Cuda in particular is also incredibly good at mimicking other shapes’ voices

Monstercats (Blix’s species) only come in pink, with the exception of a very small percentage of blue monstercats. These are always biological females, and are often referred to as dragons due to having more dragon-like traits. Male monstercats that are blue are either hybrids or trans!

On the topic of monstercats, males are natural himbos. Traditional monstercat society typically functions with small family units, with a head matriarch, her daughters and their spouses, and her grandchildren. Males are naturally inclined to be fiercely protective of their families, and are more often than not incredibly supportive of their spouses, carrying a deep respect for their romantic partners. Despite being naturally deadly they are usually very sweet and affectionate around their loved ones. Female monstercats also tend to be large than males.

Flowers need decent sunlight in early childhood to develop properly. Lack of sunlight during that time period often leads to stunted physical and mental development.

Paradise has a variety of holidays, including the Harvesting, a celebration of, you guessed it, the autumn harvest (but also a time to reconnect with the departed due to that time being when the physical and spiritual worlds are closest! Also means they have to protect against evil spirits) and the Aurora Festival in the winter (celebrating the auroras produced annually by the Tree)

Paradise also has a wide array of deities. The Tree is seen as the queen of them all, being the creator figure and the most powerful, but there are many other lesser deities, including Macabre, said to guide shapes out of caves and souls into the afterlife. Only one being is said to rival the Tree’s power, but he’s a topic for another time :]

ASKBLOG INFO

In the askblog, you could ask my versions of the characters anything! And here they are!

Cyan - Cyan’s the impromptu leader of the Main 4. He acts like a confident and well-meaninged hero, despite being hotheaded and a bit too overconfident.

Gold - Gold is the Main 4’s “slacker.” They’re quite lazy, but they do get the job done eventually. They’re also the most laid back of the four. Strangely, they’re the most capable of neutralizing corrupted energy of the Main 4, and is often asked to.

Lime - Lime is the Main 4’s most straight-headed person. He’s pretty protective, and often plays defensively. He’s often assigned as the caretaker of the group when Cube’s not around.

Orange - Orange is the smartest among the Main 4. She’s the most outgoing and friendly out of the four, always trying to friends. She thinks up most of the strategies the group uses.

Boss/Blixer (Pre-Story) - The boss is the man behind the corruption himself. He barely takes any crass from anyone, acts serious almost always, and has a quick temper. He dislike the others, mostly because they’re his enemies, but also because their personalities often piss him off.

Boss/Blixer (King/New Game Version) - In an ironic twist, the boss who once hated the wacky personalities of the other characters, now became insane himself as a side effect for consuming so much power. He’s pretty much an insane villain who wants death, destruction, corruption, and to flex his guitar.

Cube - Cube’s the oldest out of all the characters (except for Blixer), but is also the most shy. They’re very bad socially, and often couldn’t converse in conversation without another person with them.

I also got a bunch of JSAB ocs/fcs you could ask, and here they are!

TTF/Time to Fight - TTF is one of Blixer’s most loyal servants. He’s a mercenary hell-bent on capturing/killing the Main 4 shapes. He’s often pretty reckless and overconfident, sorta like Cyan. He has a mouth of a sailor, often swearing every sentence.

Happycore - Happycore is one of the cheeriest and friendliest characters in Paradise. They’re so cheery that they don’t even know if they’re corrupted or not, and act literally the same.

Now here’s some rules!

Rule 1 - Don’t be weird/inappropriate please

Rule 2 - Requests and dares are allowed

Rule 3 - Don’t ask the same questions

Rule 4 - OCs are allowed, but only sometimes

Rule 5 - Please specify which character you’re asking (and in Boss man’s case, specify which version)

(AKA: I ramble about an aspect of my JSaB AU for a bit)

I’m not sure if there will be more text posts about this, but here we go

-Types of Magic

In this universe, there are a total of four types of triangles:

Life:

Life triangles, as per their name, as able to physically heal a shape, sometimes even being able to revive shapes from death or make plants grow. Aside from that, life triangles can also heal a shape mentally, giving them a bit of a calm sensation. A rather interesting ability it offers is the ability to see the lives of other shapes up until the present day, sort of like retrocognition.

Death:

Death triangles can hurt or kill shapes physically and mentally. It can take limbs or cause scratches, as well as negatively impact a shape’s psyche, giving them a sense of dread or depression. As an opposite to Life’s retrocognition, Death Triangles can also let shapes see their’s or other’s deaths, sometimes in different branching timelines.

Creation:

Moving away from shapes, Creation impacts the environment and world instead of the beings that walk on it. While life creates organic material, creation creates inorganic material, being able to form land, sea, sky, and fire among other things. Creation can also create tools and weapons like swords, axes, saws, and even buildings. While it doesn’t directly impact living creatures, Creation triangles can affect them.

Destruction:

Being the opposite to creation, Destruction triangles aim to annihilate inorganic material, though it can also hurt living beings in proximity. Along with completely destroying creation, Destruction triangles can also warp it to some extent, causing disruptions like hurricanes or tornadoes. Some even say that Destruction triangles can damage the fabric of reality, creating these ‘tears’ that shapes may travel through.

General Powers:

There are two general powers that all these types have, being able to cancel out their opposite and being able to purify or corrupt shapes.

To state the obvious, Life spells can cancel out Death spell and vise versa. Same goes to Creation and Destruction. Usually the more experienced shapes with the most triangles will have the stronger spells and will block out the opposite type.

The second general ability would be purification and corruption. Triangles themselves cannot be cured or corrupted, instead their sources can be altered and affect the triangles they produce.

-What they look like

Triangles in their base forms are relatively similar aside from color. The color of a triangle however doesn’t determine the type it is. Instead, when they are in an active form, it will produce these symbols that determine what it is. Certain shapes can also instinctively know which is which.

When a shape uses the triangle’s power, it enters a somewhat liquid state and will flow into the affected object/area/shape.

-Direct Vs Indirect Spells

For example, an indirect death spell could affect a necklace and cause the wearer to be in a constant state of stress while a direct life spell can heal the shape it targets. An indirect destruction spell could enchant an axe to chop down trees easily while a direct creation spell would directly form a mass of land.

-Who Can Use Triangles

Only certain shapes known as Wielders can activate the main powers of one or more types of triangles.

Normally Wielders look like normal shapes, though when activating their powers a symbol on their chest is revealed. This symbol reveals the type of magic they can wield.

The only shapes besides Wielders who can use magic would be Guardians (Player Shapes) who don’t require triangles to use the power.

Wielders can only be born if one or both of their parents are Wielders themselves. However, even if both parents are Wielders, it doesn’t guarantee that their children will share their power, which is the most likely outcome. Sometimes an offspring will bear one of the triangle types, but very rarely will a child have both. It’s unknown if a shape wielding three or all four types is possible, though chances are that it’s so unlikely that it’s pretty much impossible.

(Can you tell I got inspired by animus magic from Wings of Fire when making this?)

Where triangles come from

As expected, the Tree of Life (Also called The Immortal Tree or Rainbow’s Tree) provides the strongest triangles and is supposed provide all four types.

While the tree is supposed to have four parts and four types, a certain incident caused the Death Piece to be stolen, resulting in the tree only having three parts.

However, the Tree isn’t the only producer of these triangles, though it is the most iconic and powerful.

Certain plants, ranging in types and power can produce the triangles a random intervals, almost like pollen. They tend to produce more in spring.

Anyways, that ends my ramble. Hopefully I actually do something with this magic system.
