The Forever Session - Vol.1
The boys are back, and so am I
It's been a while, hasn't it? I am not sure how this will go but for those who enjoyed my funny post about my favorite band here's one about their last album.
I will give a small opinion on every new version (spoiler: they are all amazing) but first a quick glance at the setlist in general;
At first, I was a bit dubious about the songs from "Nothing Personal" since we already got a new version of them on the 10 year anniversary of that album. After hearing them, they made so much sense. I hoped we would see some from "Put Up Or Shut Up" but I enjoyed how they switched the order of Dear Maria and Lost In Stereo since they usually open with the latter and end with the other.
Dear Maria, Count Me In: Obviously She is here. It's a grand idea to open with it, setting the tone on what to expect from the album. Crazy vocals, and a nostalgic yet fresh sound.
Coffee Shop Soundtrack: I love this song. Rian goes super hard on the drums, and I love it! The End? 'Waiting for something' STOP. Wow!
Damned If I Do Ya, Damned If I Don't: Love this version, a bit more pop-ish, but still has the same vibe we are getting from the whole album; you can hear a bit of the synth (?) sounds they tried from the original "Nothing Personal" so it has a good recall. They (obviously) kept the iconic stutter of D-D-Damned at the end of the song: perfection.
Six Feet Under The Stars: Another song I love from their early album. I realized that Alex's vocals were way less defined (obviously since they were still developing their sounds and all), and these versions of the songs from "So Wrong, It's Right" are way crispier. The backup vocals are insane: some are very similar to the old ones, while other are brand new.
Weightless: Do I need to say anything about this? Same as DMCMI, old vibes but new at the same time.
Poppin' Champagne: I'll admit this wasn't one of my favorite songs, but this version? Very good, I think I understood the lyrics for the first time lmao (I couldn't really understand what was sung and was too lazy to look it up).
Jasey Rae: I feel like everyone loves Jasey Rae (me too). This is an insane rendition of the song so I don't have much to say. Love it!
Lost In Stereo: Love that they switched the position of this song since it usually is the one played first during concerts (pretty sure they often open with LIS). I feel like this might be the weakest of all the songs in here. I prefer both older renditions of Lost In Stereo. I still like the song.
Remembering Sunday: They teased it. We waited for it. They delivered it. Jack tricked us with the "what the hell" comment and I fell for it. I was ready to hear Avril sing one of my favorite songs. When they released the pre-save and I saw 'Lisa Gaskarth' in there I was shocked. Is Lisa a trained singer? Because the way she killed Juliet Simms' part is incredible. I was not expecting that. I was listening to it in the car and forgot how roundabout worked for a moment. A new all-time favorite!
There it is. My useless review of this insane album. I had a blast writing this even if it was difficult as hell; I haven't used my English writing skills in a while and had to check multiple times what I was typing ahahahah. I know I'll have this on repeat for weeks and I'll be obnoxious about it lmao. hope to hear about you sooner this time.
Until then Stay Safe, Be Kind, and remember, Somebody loves you. ☀️💕

Album Review: From Filth And Dust - Lilith Czar
First of all, I'd like to say that this album completely blew me away. From Filth And Dust perfectly showcases Lilith's (formerly known as Juliet Simms) vocal abilities and songwriting skills. The lyrics are meaningful, witty, and raw with emotion. The vocals are clean with just the right amount of grit and pair beautifully with the instrumentals. The album tells the story of a woman who has been through hell and back, who has fought battles both external and internal. The sound is pure rock n' roll. It's not a passive album. You can't help but sing along, experiencing all the emotions the songs pack in.
The album cover, music videos, name change, and new look all work perfectly to create a stand-out album in Czar's discography.
Song Breakdown
Intro Poem: I'm a huge fan of albums with intro tracks. I think if done correctly they can really add a lot to an album and set the tone. I really liked this intro, the transition into Feed My Chaos is phenomenal. It does a good job introducing Lilith and the overarching thems of the album.
Feed My Chaos: Easily one of my favorites on the album, this song is, for lack of better words, badass. One of the heavier tracks, it's loud and in your face with hypnotizing vocals. I think this was the perfect full-length track to start the album off with.
King: The message of this song is exactly what the world needs. The lyrics are powerful and meant to ruffle the feathers of any man who thinks women should shut up and stay in their place. The first time I heard this song I remember thinking "wow, that's exactly how I feel". I hate that we live in a world that is male-dominated, where there is an innate privilege in existing in a body that is seen as "male". If that's the way the world is, then I'm not okay just being a "queen" still subservient to a man. I want to be king, equal power, and equal respect. This song perfectly captures that feeling.
Anarchy: Another one of my favorites, I'm a big fan of political songs and messages in rock. The beat of this song and vocals are top-notch. After the past four years of political insanity and the deliberateness in which the rights of oppressed communities were targeted, this song is cathartic. The end of the song really puts the exclamation point on this track; shots, sirens, and a man's voice over a loudspeaker can be heard in the background. It made me think back to last Summer and the volatile state the country was in. Very nice touch to the song.
100 Little Deaths: Another strong rock track, this is a song easily chanted from the top of your lungs driving down the highway. The message of overcoming your personal struggles is an inspiring one. I also think its placement before the next song, 'Lola' was a great choice. The messages flow together quite well and I like the dichotomy of such a hyped-up song being followed by a slower emotional one.
Lola: This song has grown on me a lot, and I really like it. There is raw emotion in Czar's voice which easily takes center place in this track. It'll have you on the brink of tears but also ready to rise up and sing your heart out. Anyone who's ever hit rock bottom and had to fight to find themself again can relate. The is one of the most open tracks on the album and I think that's what makes it so impactful. One of my favorite lyrics from the album is in this song "Time flies by when you're 25 n' about to die"
Edge of Seventeen: Stevie Nick's fan or not, I think everyone has heard this song. There's a risk that comes with covering an iconic and beloved song, and it really paid off for Czar. This is an amazing cover, her voice fits this song very well.
Bad Love: Another one of my favorites, this song is a masterpiece. It's sultry, exciting, and catchy as fuck. The song speeds up on the chorus and then slows back down for the verses; a rollercoaster that you'll have on repeat for days.
In My Head: When this song started I thought "I'm either going to really, really like this song or hate it". It did not disappoint at all. Clearly a song about fighting the demons in well... "in my head". As someone who struggles with mental health and my own thoughts this song hits home. Lyrically this is probably my favorite song as well, I mean "It gets me off like nothing else, no one fucks me like myself" come on, that's just a fucking cool line.
Unholy: Fuck... I love this song. When I saw the title for this track I had really high expectations because I love rock songs that use religious symbolism with just the right amount of blasphemy. This song gave me everything I wanted from it. I've had it on repeat all day. It's a tie between this song and the next for my #1 favorite on the album.
Burn With Me: This song reminds me of Automatic Love Letter (her old band). I love the sound of this song and the lyrics. This is my type of love song for sure. You can't help but dance around the room while singing along. Czar shows off her vocal abilities and control over her voice, hitting notes that make you go "damn- how the fuck did she do that?!?!".
Diamonds to Dust: The perfect closing song, a slower acoustic track that sums the album up and leaves you wanting more. You can literally hear the emotions in Czar's voice, and like Lola, it's a very raw track. Amazingly well done.
I rarely find albums in which I like all of the songs, but this is one of them. None of the songs feel rushed or unfinished, incredibly well done. Anyone who's written Lilith off before should honestly give this album a listen and let it speak for itself. She's an incredibly talented singer, songwriter, and musician and this album is proof of that. I've unfairly judged her and her music in the past, and I'm so glad I decided to give her and her music another chance. I believe in the message of this album and women supporting women. I can honestly say that I love this album and I highly recommend it.
Total rate: 9/10
Top tracks (in my opinion): Unholy, Burn With Me, Bad Love, Lola

I wish bands knew the difference between real fans and the asskissers. But they will never know because the asskissers bring in the money. I'm calling out Jake Pitts, Inna Logvin, Juliet Simms, Ariel Bloomer and Ashley Costello.

· Blink-182 dropped a new Christmas track, “Not Another Christmas Song,” highlighting the downsides of the holiday season and causing a raucous on the North Pole. The accompanying music video is a claymation of the band performing the song for elves.
· Selfish Things dropped the music video for their song “Torn,” which also features Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath. The video takes inspiration from the old silent films, with slides describing the action.
· Blink-182 and the Chainsmokers’ official collab release came nearly an entire year after it was initially teased by the latter group. The song, “PS I Hope You’re Happy,” was announced on the Chainsmokers’ social media pages.

· Coheed and Cambria announced on Instagram even more bands joining them for their 2020 cruise aboard the S.S. Neverender. Thrice, Power Trip, Sheer Mag, Radkey, Hail the Sun, and Peelander-Z were also announced.
· Hayley Williams of Paramore is bringing back the Sanctuary of Self Love to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival next summer. This is the second year the iconic Williams will be curating the plaza, which was a mega-hit last year.
· Scary Kids Scaring Kids revealed they will be bringing along Secrets and Push Over on their upcoming reunion tour. The tour kicks off in January, with tickets and VIP packages available for purchase now.
· Third Eye Blind announced they are going to be joined by Saves the Day on the second leg of their headlining tour in support of their latest album, Screamer. The tour kicks off March 11th in Seattle, and its announcement arrives alongside the news they’re also launching a new podcast.
· Twenty One Pilots’ Bandito Tour secured a spot on Billboard’s year-end lists as one of the top-grossing tours of 2019. The top spot went to pop singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who grossed $223.6 million with 2,587,445 fans attending 54 total shows on his Divide Tour.

· Fever 333 announced the first signing to their own label, 333 Wreckords Crew. They introduced the Nova Twins, the London-based duo of vocalist/guitarist Amy Love and bassist Georgia South, who are two black women in rock music twisting the convention of a genre.
· My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way announced he is dropping the final issue of his brother Mikey Way‘s first comic, Collapser. The final issue ends the series, which began back in April and marked the first comic book collab between the two MCR brothers.
· Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge revealed that an older solo track of his titled “Suburban Kings” is about his former band Blink-182. In 2015, just a month after departing the band, DeLonge dropped his first studio album titled To the Stars…Demos, Odds and Ends.

like nobody cares if “honestly” she has a constructive face, or adjustments, or that she is not grasping reality of “love yourself” -but she doesn’t- a I love Lucy skit as her working as a domestic woman working at black and Decker part time..the problem i see is she is beating up her “husband” as she’s struggling at her career..they should actually have her advertise they should just cover it up with advertising. or make her a rubber duck with juliet simms when she makes her face sucked in and just that scowl make’s her look like a delightful rubber duck. she probably has a secret name rubber ducky cause she wants to move and float around aimlessly. yes I see her honestly- I cover my insecurities- “juliet” with I gotta go here with my all about me sesame street “friend” cause she will cry but yes…I honestly hope her hook nose witch craft she probably only does one thing right with that big mouth of her’s..not the contradictory lectures, not the I sold out cause I gotta live the icon dream..if it’s Real love the little things count like “Trust” “I Love You” umm like if she has a kid is the kid gonna think magically my face will look like that? no..but hey jowl surgery is common.botox for her stress lines..over drawn eye brows cause you shave them off, and then post best idea grow back pictures, then shave them off again and then color them in after you shave them off again. and share your experience of obviously a over drawn red mustache -I mean lips- that is two inches above your lips. you sound like a over conqusting delusional mess.. can any body draw how big her mouth is? she probably want’s to assert how big she uses her mouth compared to it’s actual size. she has a family of her own growing on every individual toe. so precious! she has a family already I am proud of her congratulations Corns!! she’s a night mare off of elm street who want’s to be children of the “corns”? ahh! we also love your bunions corns you have quiet a big family. maybe she can sell pictures of them with a auto graph your beautiful!
