Buwan ng Marso 2022 ay nagtungo kami sa Gitnang Silangan upang makapagbakasyon kasama ang aking pamilya sa lungsod ng Dubai sa bansang United Arab Emirates. Ito ay isa sa hindi ko malilimutan na paglalakbay na aking naranasan.

Ang lugar na ito ay tiyak na nalalayo sa aking lupang sinilangan. Tahimik ang kapaligiran at walang mga bata sa daan. Ang Dubai ay ang pinakamataong lungsod sa United Arab Emirates at pinaka pinupuntahan ng mga turista dahil sa mga malalaking proyekto, magagandang pasyalan, at sa kanilang advance na teknolohiya.

Mga Dapat Puntahan sa Dubai, United Arab Emirates

1. La Mer

Ang lugar na ito ay tabing-dagat kung saan maraming mga aktibidad na maaaring gawin tulad na lamang ng paglalaro sa arcade. Marami ring bilihan dito gaya na lamang ng pagkain, pampasalubong, damit at iba pa. Ang magandang oras para magpunta rito ay pasilim dahil dito ko nasisilayan ang paglubong ng araw at mga ilaw galing sa mga gusali. Sa aking paglalakbay sa Dubai, aking napansin na maraming claw machine sa bawat gilid ng daan. Ito ay isa sa mga dapat gawin dahil sa halagang 1 AED maaari kang manalo ng iba’t ibang laruan. Ito rin ay isang paraan upang maenjoy at malibang ang iyong sarili.

Maglakad sa Gabi

Aking napansin na ang buhay sa Dubai ay sa gabi. Ito ang oras kung kailan nagbubukas ang mga tindahan at iba’t ibang kainan. Ang paglalakad sa gabi sa Dubai ay ang aking pinakamasayang karanasan dahil dito ko nakikita ang ilaw mula sa mga gusali at naririnig ko ang kapayapaan sa aking kapaligiran.

Pangingisda

Maraming magagandang lugar sa Dubai para sa pangingisda dahil sa kanilang masaganang supply ng isda. Ito ay isa sa mga dapat gawin dahil isa ito sa aming pinagkakaalabahan sa Dubai. Magandang karanasan ito lalo na sa mga hindi pa nasubukan ang pangingisda dahil sa madaling access sa mga materyales at lugar kung saan pinapayagan ang pangingisda.

Tikman ang mga Pagkain

Hindi matatapos ang isang paglalakbay ng walang nasusubukang pagkain. Kilala ang Dubai sa iba’t ibang pagkain dahil sa kanilang mga pampalasa. Ang pagkain ng ibang pagkain sa ibang bansa ay pinakamasayang pakiramdam sa parte ng paglalakbay dahil dito nakikita at natututunan ang iba’t ibang aspeto sa kanilang kultura.

Mga Reyalisasyon:

Masaya ang maglakbay, dito nabubuo ang mga tanong na “paano” sa ating buhay. Dito ko rin napagtanto ang uri ng pamumuhay ng iba’t ibang tao sa bawat lugar na aking napupuntahan. Kaya dapat natin pagyamanin ang ating mga karanasan at alaala sa bawat paglalakbay.

Sa aking paglalakbay patungo sa Gitnang Silangan, aking napagtanto na hindi kailangang gumastong ng malaki upang maranasan ang iba’t ibang aktibidad sa ibang bansa. Mahalaga na matutunan kung paano i-romanticize ang buhay dahil kahit na gaano pa kasimple at kaliit ang mga bagay na gusto mong subukan, ito ang mahalaga at ito ay tiyak na magiging masaya.

Jumeria Emirates Towers breakfasts are interesting. A big fan of fancy cheese, Aussie rock melons, and Chinese dimsims, it seems only fitting that if they’re ALL available, why not just grabbed them ALL? Nothing in common but delicious none-the-less.

And that healthy thing in the middle there is Swiss oatmeal (whatever that is!) and belongs to my husband.

Breakfast here is Brie that I smothered in honey, and the dimsims in sweet chili — must say the filtered coffee was also exceptional. Looking up from the massive window, I saw these buildings looming over;

Impressive, no? Slight london vibe, through missing the wear and tear of london heritage. And like everything here, these buildings are exceptionally tall, shiny, and structured to the millimeter of perfection.
