This particular gown was made with some changes from the original design per the clients request, which I fully agreed with! We removed the mottled patterning in the gown, and replaced the yellow & green hues with pinks, lavenders, and lilac.

Inspired by Dior's iconic New Look (1947) and infused with the glamour of high fantasy couture, this piece is a reimagining of the classic cocktail dress as worn by a sorceress at a royal masquerade. A little bit of magic, a hint of mystery… and just a drop of danger.

Went to the Renaissance Faire for the first time since Covid! Which of course means I picked the one weekend that the lovely SoCal weather decided to be rainy, muddy, grey and cold. Oh well lol. We still had fun and I’m excited to make the Renfaire another one of our consistent things to do again. My little absolutely loved it as well. Reels aren’t my thing but I’m trying to push myself past my comfort zone and just start making them with the hope I’ll get better. So most of them have been trial and error until I decide what I like. Also sad this couldn’t download with the song.
