“You’re sweaty…” you murmur into Jungkook’s chest, unwilling to let go despite how gross it feels. Jungkook pulls you closer, nuzzling his face into your hair with a chuckle. There’s a moment of silence as you trace a finger along his pec, breathing quietly into his chest while he presses gentle kisses into your hair.

“I don’t want you to leave,” it comes out quietly, and you feel Jungkook exhale deeply before acknowledging you with an equally quiet “I know.” You sigh, lifting your head up to meet his eyes as he readjusts his arm under his head to look down at you. His gaze is soft, the subtle lines of heartache taint his wrinkles and it’s impossible to look away.

“If I could stay, I would. You know that, baby,” he continues, eyes never leaving yours. You listen intently. He brings his free hand up to stroke your head gently, coaxing you to lay back on his chest while he speaks. “You’ll be good, though, I know you will.” He leans his head back; you feel him shift beneath you as his fingers stroke up and down your back. You remain silent, chewing your lip as your fingers lay still against his chest. “Baby?” He questions, hand gripping your waist.

You hadn’t even realised you were crying until a hitched breath leaves you and you bury yourself further into him. Jungkook holds you tighter, sitting up and pulling you with him until you’re halfway in his lap. Your head falls into his shoulder, sniffling. He kisses your head again.

“Baby, come on, talk to me…”

“You’re l-leaving me, f-for so long,” you choke out, sobbing into his shoulder and all Jungkook can do is hold you closer, stroke your hair and kiss your skin. Guilt clouds his thoughts, all he wants to do is stay with you and protect you, knowing that his leaving is causing you so much pain makes his heart hurt. You cry in his arms for so long, saying nothing, just holding him while he touches you sweetly.

When you finally lift your head up to look into his eyes, you see his are red with tears too. In your sadness, you had neglected his feelings and he had let you. You cup his face, leaning your forehead against his tenderly as your thumb wipes at the tears dribbling down his cheeks. There are no words that could tend to the Jungkook sized hole in your heart, nor the you sized hole in his. You connect your lips, and the worry seems to drift away when Jungkook kisses you back sweetly. There’s no tongue, just the movement of your lips and the salty combination of both your tears; it doesn’t bother you, though, you want Jungkook wholly, in every way you can, and if kissing away his tears is how you’ll get there then so be it.

“Marry me,” Jungkook groans softly against your lips, breaking the silence as he tries to pull you impossibly closer. It should catch you off guard, but instead you kiss him deeper, nodding gently.

“I’m serious, y/n, marry me,” he pleads, pulling back finally with bated breaths. “Wait for me, be patient and wait and I’ll come back with a ring and marry you, I swear it.”

“Jungkook,” your eyes soften, tears threatening to spill once again as you heed his plea, “I’d wait forever.”

The smile on his face sends you reeling, all toothy and sweet and delicate and all for you. He takes your hand, interlacing your fingers as his thumb strokes softly over your knuckles, diving back into your lips with all the fervour of a man starved.

“I love you so much, you know that?” He assures you, gripping your hand tighter in an unspoken promise, “I’ll be back so soon, my precious girl… And you’ll be right here, yeah? Waiting for me, being patient?”

“Always, I’ll always be here, never gonna leave…”

His free hand slides up your face, touching you so delicately. His thumb traces your cheek gently. Eighteen months to go.

there’s this ig account that has been posting a lot of old tkk content from their very very baby stages as a countdown for the days in the military as well. most of these clips i’ve never watched in full since im relatively new to the fandom (about a year and a half now). i caught up on most content through compilations on youtube rather than going back and watching every single full video bc there’s literally not enough time in the day for me to do that lol. but watching these clips is insane bc my GOD i have never seen two ppl so all over and obsessed w each other. literally they could be superglued together and they’d be just fine w that. and jungkooks crush was so so evident…he rlly worshipped the ground taehyung walked on. not that jk isn’t anymore but i think bc it was more innocent back then he had no filter for his taehyung obsession lol. it’s so crazy to see how much they’ve changed tho and it kind of confirms to me that something rlly has been going on between them. bc back in the first bc few years of bts getting together, i don’t think there was anything romantic actually going on, more so like infatuation and adoration for the other person that hadn’t been recognized as romantic yet. so there wasn’t anything to rlly hide and that’s why we were able to have all of this footage of them like that. whereas now, even tho we know for a fact they’re just as close as they always have been, we don’t get footage of them like that anymore at all. the most we get is like 10 seconds here and there and even that footage has a bunch of cuts lol. and i think this also has to do w them not acting like that as openly in front of cameras anymore as well, not just things being edited out.

Though Tae and Jk have obviously matured and have therefore toned down their interactions, I think from the things we do see they are still very touchy and affectionate with each other. It’s super nice to watch.

Hellooo good morning/night/afternoon! I got the email for flux this morning and my plan was to get up and study but no! I spent the whole morning reading cause that chapter was so loooong and that made me sooooo happy🥰 thank you 언니! No worries, I studied anyway eventually😫.

Okay so the feeling of stress from the events of last chapter is definitely still lingering. As soon as I started it I was like “oh god she has to do it all again💀💀💀” but it actually got better gradually! Tbh my feelings of uneasiness are mainly because of the whole foreigner thing. Based on what I gathered some Koreans actually make a big deal out of dating a foreigner and that just… I mean do each their own but it’s a bit stressing because it doesn’t feel like it’s coming from a place of curiosity most of the times🙁. But that’s probably why Sasha is stressing the fuck out too! Terrified of mortally offending somebody because she comes from a totally different background.

And talking about background! Eomma was determined to get to know in 5 minutes what us readers (and dear jk) got to know in 2 books, almost two years, more than a million words and many tears. Honestly it was so amazing to read about what’s going on in Sasha’s mind when she’s in this kinds of triggering situations. To read (once again) about how she sees the world, how she would randomly think of her sister, whether she lived or not, and witness that thought coming out of nowhere all of a sudden was so intense and real. That’s stupid lol but idk that part really got me! Makes you think of how many things she actually has to deal with on a daily basis.

Apart from the questions, I was so happy to see eomma warming up to Sasha! When jk told her to “be the mom she never had” I know for a fact eomma was right there with him. She was like “alright daughter! Come here and cut potatoes”. Basically like saying I love you🥰❤️. Can’t wait to see what else is there for them! And little Misuk too! She was so cute, PLEASE GO HUG SASHA FOR ME!😭

PS. the Russian thing about childbirth! 10 children!! It was removed this year??😶 when I was reading about it definitely sounded like something older. I think Italy had something similar during fascism, like families being exempted from taxation if they had more than 6/7 children. And they also had the help of the church that helped in banning contraception! What else could go wrong?🤡

"“oh god she has to do it all again💀💀💀”" yeah this is how I keep feeling for her too haha. It's why I felt like I wanted to take the chapters as needed to go through it all slowly so we're right there in this experience wiht her, really feeling how exhausting it is. It's so exhausting!!

Eomma will continue to be a lot of fun to develop and explore, that relationship between them won't necessarily be quick and easy (though nothing like The Mother in Lowlander haha) but it's SUCH an important one in the series. She definitely wanted to use to use Mother-in-law privilege and see what info she could get haha. She probably figures too that Jungkook may just not have asked/pressed much. She knows her son!

As for the Mother Heroine thing, from what I found in research is was active from the Soviet times until like the early 90s, and then it turned into just a title and medal for 7 kids but no money attached to it. But then this year they bumped it back up to 10 and put the money back on it. The disclaimer is so fucked up though: you get the payout on the first birthday of your tenth child as long as the other nine are either all alive or died in specifically sanctioned ways (like in the military.) CRAZY. Trying to avoid exactly what happened with Sasha's family though ooooops.

As for enlistment... I think a part of me had hoped that if I wrote it one way (assuming excemptions didn't come through) the opposite would happen IRL. Oops. :(

Jikook Week 12 Complete ✔️(27/02/2024 - 05/03/2024)

Their twelfth week in the military is now complete and Jikook have been just been promoted to Private First Class. It's time to celebrate this milestone with a look back at this week in 2014.

BTS were in the middle of the School Luv Affair comeback. The album was released on 12/02/2014 with Boy in Luv as the lead single.

On the 27/02 BTS appeared on Mnet Countdown.

Also that week they appeared on KBS Music Bank, Music Core, Inkiagayo, MTV Show and MBC Show Championship.

They were working extra hard with back to back performances, radio interviews and fan signs but......

......perhaps the most memorable event of this week wasn't related to work at all. On the 03/03 Jungkook entered high school and all his members turned out to see him off.

It was a big day for everyone. You can feel how nervous, excited and proud not only Jungkook is but also all of his hyungs.

They had just enough time to eat together before they had to move on to the next TV recording.

Jimin also posted a message on Fan Cafe.

Finally on 05/03 Jimin posted two tweets

"The Show Champion pre-record is over.. what should I do now..? -Tae Tae: Food..? Go..?"

"I don’t have to tell you who this cool back is, right? Yes, it’s Jimin ~~~?? !! ㅋㅋㅋ Look at my back and cheer up. ㅎㅎ You must be strong, right?!! I gained strength thanks to our ARMYs’ cheers!!"

Jungkook knew you were pregnant when he leaving but there was nothing he could do about it, he wasn't allowed to stop himself from going just because now you were expecting children. It just wasn't the way it worked, unfortunately,

"Time will fly." He promised you the morning he was leaving, you nodded holding his hand as you walked through the airport together watching as other couples did the exact same thing as you with their partners it was something everyone did.

"It's just a year and ten months." You whispered to him not sure if you were trying to reassure him or yourself and he smiled sadly at you, you knew the time was coming. It came to everyone that had to enlist and sure it was sad and you had mixed emotions over it but it was something that everyone had to or wanted to do and there was nothing wrong with that.

"I'll see you sooner anyway, remember." He tilted your chin up so you could look him in the eyes and he could see you tearing up. He was going to come home early for the birth only to leave again a week after spending time with you, another one of the many strict rules that the military had for him and many others. The tears were already threatening to run down your cheeks you were pregnant with his baby so it could have been down to the extra emotions running through your body but you both knew it was because he was leaving for so long.

"It's never goodbye, always I'll see you soon." You told him with a genuine smile on his face, you were used to long periods away from one another. Before he enlisted he was going on tour or going to different countries, you just had to think of it as an extended version of those.

"I'll see you soon." He kissed your forehead and then knelt onto the floor so he was facing your stomach, there wasn't even a bump there yet but he was excited by the thought of being a dad.

"I'll see you soon too." He kissed your belly before coming back up and giving you one final kiss goodbye before he had to leave or he was going to be late to get to the base camp.

The first five weeks were the hardest, you couldn't talk to him because he wasn't allowed to use the internet or the phone to talk to you so you spent it with friends and family, trying to pass time by while you waited. You spent a lot of time with his parents who came to stay with you in Seoul to help you with anything you might need, they were more than excited when they found out you were expecting and were doing everything they could to make it a relaxing process for you.

"You can start writing him letters soon." Mrs Jeon said as you started making dumplings together, you were waiting for Mr Jeon to come back from the store with dessert, you'd been craving chocolate cake all day and he was sweet enough to go out and get some for you while you made dinner with his wife.

"I was hoping the first one could be a baby scan but I'm not due for those for another 5 weeks." You told her adding a scoop of filling to a dumpling dough and folding it up, you were a natural. You'd gone to Jungkook's mum worry about not being able to cook enough for the baby and Jungkook when they time came and she promised to teach you everything she knew.

"You can send him more than one letter dear," She chuckled at you making you blush, you knew that but you didn't want to bother him too much while he was away you never wanted to, even when he was on a tour you never wanted to be a bother to him.

The letter came and Jungkook practically flung himself on the man that was handing them out, you'd been talking about sending him an Ultrasound since your first letter and it was finally time, he ripped open the envelope to carefully read the letter you'd written him, it was short and gave him an idea of what happened at the scan and then he held the small black and white image in his hand. His child was sitting right there and on the back, it had the date and time of the scan and directions to where the baby was if Jungkook couldn't see him because at first, you couldn't either.

Bets were placed around the base camp about the gender of the baby and it was split 50/50 even the drill sergeant was getting on board with it and telling Jungkook he knew for a fact it was a boy because of the way the baby was laid digging into old superstitions that if the baby was facing the right side on his first scan it was a boy and if it was laid to the left it was a girl meaning he was going to have a son. But Jungkook didn't care as long as they were born healthy and he could be there to witness the birth of his son or daughter.

Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months until it was finally your due date...Then that passed and you were still pregnant, still carrying around a baby and looking as though you'd swallowed a planet.

"Can't they do something?" You whined sitting up in the bed to look at Mrs Jeon who had come into you, it was 3 am and you'd woke up screaming out from a nightmare and she rushed in to see what was wrong thinking you were going into labour. They were still with you because they wanted to stay until the birth to make sure you weren't alone in this, but you weren't going to be alone. Jungkook was going to be able to come home for the birth, only to leave again after a week.

"They can't dear, the babies will come when they're ready." She helped you up from the bed so you could go to the toilet, another reason for lack of sleep the baby was constantly pressing down on your bladder as if it was their new favourite toy.

"All I'm saying is if he or she doesn't come out soon they can stay in there."

"That's not how it-" She stopped herself when water hit the ground beneath you and you toppled over in pain, gripping onto your stomach as you felt a cramp-like feeling through your lower abdomen.

"Where is he?" You cried out as another contraction finished, you were sitting in a hospital bed with your legs up on either side of the bed as doctors rushed around you, Mrs Jeon took your hand in hers and sighed. It had been the longest 24 hours of your life and Jungkook still wasn't here,

"I don't want to do this without him," Tears were streaming down your face and Mrs Jeon looked at you apologetically, there was nothing anyone could do to get him here faster but the baby was on its way and there was nothing they could do to change that.

"It's time to start pushing." The midwife told you looking up to make sure you were ready, the pain you were experiencing was unimaginable and nothing you could have pictured even after all the health class videos and talks.

"I'm right here okay, I won't leave." Jungkook's mum said to you standing by your head and holding your hand, you gripped it tightly looking up at her and nodding to tell them you were ready.

"Okay on three I want you to push for ten seconds okay? Then we'll take a 5-second break and do the same thing. Can you do that for me y/n?" You agreed and waited for the countdown to begin, breathing heavily until they told you to push. Keeping a tight grip on Mrs Jeon's hand as you made your way through it.

The door burst open and Jungkook stood there in uniform, sweating and panting as he looked around.

"Kookie." You breathed out in relief as he stared at you, then at the baby that was being washed on the other side of the room screaming loudly.

"I missed it," He groaned watching as you nodded sadly but the midwife sat back down in front of you,

"Just in time for the next one though."

"Next one!?" You and Jungook yelled out in unison turning to look down at the midwife who was looking through your chart your heart was thumping against your chest and beads of sweat were starting to collect once more. You'd just given birth and you were going to have to do it all over again,

"You didn't know?" She questioned confused as to how you wouldn't know you were having twins,

"No one told me I was having twins." You whispered to her and she frowned making a note to talk to the Ultrasound team about it later,

"Mr Jeon if you'd like to hold her hand." His mum kissed you on the head and left the room so you and Jungkook could go through this together, he held onto your hand and kissed it getting ready to coach you through the process.

"I'm sorry I missed the first one." You shook your head at him looking up into his eyes lovingly, it was the first time you'd seen him in nine months and you wouldn't change it for the world even if it was painful, it was a beautiful moment together. You were both still in the hospital room waiting for discharge papers to be ready for you, he was holding your daughter while you held your son in your arms two healthy and beautiful babies you were looking down at you son who looked a lot like Jungkook already.

"Wait till everyone on base finds out its twins." He laughed bouncing your daughter side to side as she drifted off to sleep clutching onto his thumb, you giggled softly at the sight you always knew he was going to be a great dad when he came home. All that was left was a year and one month left and he would be back to being a family with you and the twins in no time.

"It's time." His mum came into the room with the pram you'd gotten only to be followed behind by his father pushing an exact same model into the room for your son to use. Jungkook began thanking his parents for everything they'd done for you over the last nine months and how he didn't know how he would thank them but he would find a way but his mother wasn't having it,

"It's something any mother-in-law would do." She hugged you after you put your son down into the pushchair and tucked him under the blanket that was inside.

"You're going to do perfectly." She whispered patting your cheeks and making you face her, you were sad that she was going to be leaving you as well but it was a test to make sure you could do this alone. After all, she was going to be able to be there all the time but she was always just a phone call away if you needed her, and Jin also made sure you knew he was available for around the clock babysitting, he'd finished his deployment months ago and was ready to become the best uncle in the world.

Jin was holding onto Hyeon's hand as he tried to walk around the airport alone but wasn't managing it quite well enough, he could only walk while holding onto someone or something since he was only a year old. You'd named your son Jeon Heyon since his name meant older brother and he was older than his sister by five minutes, beautiful baby Jeon Areum who Jungkook named because her name meant beauty,

"Areum sit still, he'll be here soon." You promised your fidgeting daughter but it was no use she was wiggling around trying to see if she could see Jungkook first but no children were allowed to go and wait at the front. You had to stand towards the back so you didn't disturb any other passengers,

"I want to see him now." She pouted folding her arms over her chest and looking up at Jin who would normally let her get away with anything she wanted but not today.

"You've been letting her get away with too much." You joked looking at him as he picked up Hyeon and put him on his hip.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Jin lied shutting up as the flight number was called out over the speaker system, you waited and waited until you saw the long black hair that was Jungkook.

"There he is baby." You and Jin placed your kids down on their feet as Jungkook began walking over to you, as soon as he was close enough you let go of the twins and they sprinted into his arms flinging their small arms around his neck and climbing onto him, knocking him back onto the floor and smothering him with kisses. He was shocked at first tearing up as they hugged him and told him that they missed him, you dropped onto your knees hugging all three of them and nuzzling your head against Jungkook's neck.

"They remember me?" He questioned sadly, you kissed his cheek and nodded.

"Every night I would show them videos of you or photos. They were never going to forget their dad." You whispered to him watching as Areum stood up from the floor and looked at Jin,

"Uncle Jin was always showing us videos too." You smiled up at Jin who was now kneeling on the ground beside the twins, now that Jungkook was home he didn't need to be around all of the time like he had been. He'd made a habit of coming to the house three times a week to spend time with you and the twins or to look after the twins while you took a well-needed nap, it was nice to have him there to talk to. You didn't feel like you were going to go out of your mind with all the baby talk, and you could talk to him about military stuff and he understood why.

"Jungkook be quiet." You whispered as he pushed you into the bedroom, he smirked against your neck.

"I'm not the one moaning baby," You giggled as he quietly shut the door behind him and walked back over to you his lips against your skin as you tangled your hands into his hair. It was the first time you'd been alone together since he came home, the twins were asleep and the house was empty,

"I missed you," He moaned into your ear as he felt you grind against him,

"I missed you too." He laid you down against the silk sheets and you smiled into his lips as you kissed him, both of you had missed one another romantically and intimately and it was too much to wait any longer.

"You have to be quiet though baby, they're sleeping." You nodded and reached over to the side of the bed to get some condoms but Jungkook's hand on yours stopped you, your eyes went up to his and he was shy.

"I was thinking...Maybe we could, we could try for another one." You sat up on your elbows to face him, another baby wasn't something you were opposed.

"Another baby?" You asked trying to confirm that you were on the same page and once he nodded you threw yourself at him, making out on the bed and tugging on his hair, you'd been thinking of having another baby for a while but didn't know if he would want that,

"Another baby huh? You want me to fill you up again?" You giggled at his crude wording and he smirked at you, laying you down once more and sucking on your neck. You weren't in the mood for foreplay though, you were dripping enough from the hot make-out session you'd had on the sofa and now him telling you he wanted another baby was enough to keep you going.

"Just fuck me Kookie." You whined looking at him as he stripped out of his clothes, you pulled off the oversized shirt of his you were wearing and he kissed your stretchmarks going down to your underwear and shimming them off your body, throwing them somewhere around the room and coming back up to you. You covered your stomach somewhat insecure about being fully undressed but he stopped you and kissed your lips softly,

"I love you, everything about you so don't hide from me." His face was inches from yours as he slowly eased himself into you the stretch making you gasp for air as he was finally inside you once again, you felt complete and once you'd adjusted his size you nodded that he could move.

"You're tighter than I remember baby," He chuckled slowly easing himself in and out of you, trying not to go too fast so he wouldn't hurt you and so he wouldn't finish too quickly you giggled at him as you bucked your hips to meet his.

"F-Feels so good." You whined out as his long drawn out thrusts were picking up, you didn't care if he finished now you'd just missed him being there.

He went deeper and deeper with each thrust hitting the spot where you'd needed him the most over the last year and 10 months,

"Kookie, shit." You moaned out arching your back as his fingers made figure eights on your clit bringing you closer to your release.

"You want me to fill you up baby? Make another precious little baby?" You hummed in response but that wasn't what he wanted to his, his fingers on your bud stopped moving and you let out a whine in protest but he wasn't going to start again until you answered him.

"Yes Kookie, fill me up. Please, fuck." His began moving his fingers again and you could felt yourself getting closer,

"Don't stop, please..ahh d-d-don't stop." You clenched around him and he bent down to whisper in your ear,

she likes to stay quiet during press conference mostly because she gets nervous in front of the crowds, but she did try to pay more attention in the press conference

when asked about how she viewed 2020, she gingerly picked up the mic

“a lot of things happened this year, some good and most bad, but i’m grateful to say i have a lot of people who have been by my side throughout all this. i stayed with the bangtan oppas most of the time, and i would stay over at my brother’s house with his daughter and his wife. we all got a lot more time to reflect on ourselves and our lives. then we released dynamite and had little performances and online concerts. hopefully that was able to lift up people’s spirits. i’m sorry, i’m not being eloquent right now. Jin oppa?”

“Miya, since you've mentioned having many people by your side, i’d like to bring up the news released earlier this year” “oh no, i knew this topic was coming” “how did you end up with nct’s mark as a boyfriend?”

yoonmi frowned a little, removing her previous joking air. it seemed unprofessional to be asking that at the moment to her

she was asked about how she felt being the same age as and even younger than a few new idols who just debuted recently

“it’s funny, because i don’t understand why people make such a big deal out of it. and tend to compare us we all worked and trained hard towards the same dream, so it’s nice to see that a lot of people my age and even some dongsaengs are debuting. thanks to some people i know, i’ve been able to meet more people around my age range. we’re all going through the same thing and running towards the same goal of spreading our music and communicating emotions with one another. this doesn’t mean we’re the same people, though, so i’d rather if there were no comparisons”

she was seen exchanging whispers with jungkook while seokjin talked about the military situation

about the burnout, she spoke right after jungkook

“personally, i’ve experienced it, but i discovered taking a break and focusing on other things that would make me happy works well to help me through a burnout. pushing on while feeling suffocated can only make it worse, so taking a break or having a release is good.”

COMEBACK COUNTDOWN

jimin walked over to a white curtain where yoonmi was scrolling through her phone

she looked at him and tilted her head in curiosity

“oppa?”

“our makdungie, it’s time to interview you” “hit me with it” “introduce yourself, aegi” “hi! i’m bts’s twenty-year-old makdungie miya!”

“first question, what have you been watching recently?” “oh, i’ve recently been binging on harry potter movies and the good place. i highly recommend! i’ve also been making good use of my brother’s disney plus account.”

“second, which oppa is your favorite?” “oppa! don’t ask me this!”

jimin laughed at her mini panic before changing the question to what songs she’s been listening to

she gave a cheeky smile “life goes on by bts! i listen to that a lot. but, aside from that, i listen to older shinee music. it’s a little like they’re reminding me of my beginning and one of the reasons why i tried so hard to be where i am today.”

“cutie. anyway, last question! if you could have any food right now, what would it be?” “cookies! cookies for sure! oh, actually, i kind of want to eat curry. the type mom makes, but i can’t go back to australia right now because of the virus. please remember to stay safe, everyone! wash your hands and use sanitizer, please.”

she walked over from her spot near the curtains to the black leather couch “okay, time to talk to joonie oppa”

in the group bit, she sat on the edge, curled into jimin’s side. she read the first letter about how bangtan inspired them to keep working hard despite the situation and that they miss seeing the group live

“i’m so proud of you! we’re all here supporting you and wishing you the best! we miss seeing you guys live, too, and hopefully this all ends soon. until then, though, we’ll be meeting frequently through the screen”

she was on the corner in front of yoongi for the ending bit, leaning her head against his torsoevery now and then

she went after jimin and before jungkook for the ending ment

“i hope we’ll be able to comfort you and get you through this situation. bts will always be here for our army, and we’ll do our best to make you all feel better”
