Coincidence? Starting the live at 8:11? I think not.

And not the first time he goes live at that time either.

So yeah, JK came live at 8:11 and ended the live at 13:23 minutes.

13 again? Coincidence again? Given that he said his goodbyes at around the 12 minute mark and then waited (?) for it to reach 13? Maybe. Fact is it did.

Anyway, JK starts the live saying long time no see and with talk about 3D coming out on the 29th. He tells us how it was his idea to add the clip at the end of the GCF performance, but someone ruined the surprise by running it during the rehearsals, which they obviously weren't supposed to. Oopsy. Spoiler king was spoilered. Lol.

He is a little fidgety, feels like he's doing the live cause he needs to, rather than really wants to... just a feeling I had.

JK says that as much as he was busy he actually did have time to come to us live, but, and this is where JK has decided to place the boundaries that he himself kind of tore down just a little while ago - he talks about there having to be a push and pull, but I guess he realised, perhaps with some help from others, that tearing down those walls between himself and us has also created an expectation from some fans for more, too much. Also, there needs to be some mystery (he was probably told) and leave the fans with a want for more...

I don't think this is the end of the JK we came to know and love the past few months, but I do think that he is trying to re-assess and set some boundaries between the artist that he is and us as fans.

And truthfully, let's be real here for a sec. Us, the fans, we were kind of a filler in. When the real thing is there, and the time to enlistment is getting shorter and shorter, and there is a choice between the two, who do you think he will choose? A 3 hour live with us or a sleepover with JM? I really don't think the choice is such a difficult one. Do you?

JK asks how the performance was. Hasn't monitored it yet (oh, and believe me when he does he's going to be hard on himself). And yet, even though he heard from fans they liked it, he feels he did better at rehearsal. Says it's a jynx. On the day of the performance his throat got dried up. It's called anxiety or nerves JK. If only there was someone there with him to calm those nerves...

And before you come at me, yes. I do feel he was anxious. He was a little closed up and distant as well. The enormity of it. The having to speak English. The being there ALONE. There were these little moments of disconnect during the performance. Maybe if he would have started his set with the more lively songs it would have helped, but if only there was someone there to support him and calm him, that dryness in the throat he talks about... yeah, non existent. My opinion. Fight me.

Then Jin shows up in the comment.

I mentioned that it felt like he did the live because he had to (after the performance and the 3D teasers dropping). Jin showing up in the comments, his reaction, felt like relief in a sense. He was really happy.

He saw one of the members commented, went in to see who it was and was really happy to see him.

The whole interaction between them was so older and younger brother, lol.

Jin with the "stop touching your hair", the whole call me convo (JK saying the times aren't lining up him being overseas and Jin answering with him texting Jhope 300 messages a day, as in "you ass, you can always send me a message instead", lol).

What did I take from the interaction with Jin?

First of all, that JK was really happy to see him. Not JM level happy, of course, but really happy. Do I say what I'm thinking? About members showing up in his comments and his reaction to them? Nah. In this instance I will take the fifth.

Second, we get it straight out of the horses mouth: JK is enlisting soon. Not like we didn't know it already. Like seriously. But there are those, solos mainly, that seem to still think that JK won't be enlisting with the others. Well, JK made it abundantly clear in that conversation that he's definitely enlisting and it's happening soon. It's the "I'll be joining that party soon" (as in the Jin and Jhope army party) and it's in the "you'll be out while we're still in so take care of Army until we're done" whole convo as well.

Anyway, you gotta love Jin.

Moving on.

JK tells us that 3D is different from Seven - and to look forward to it.

Wanted to thank army that came to the concert, thank K army for taking the time and supporting him.

29th September is Choseok. JK says the reason the song is released that day is he thinks we will like it more. Ok, yeah. Not the tight schedule and looming enlistment. Well, he does hint about it. Starting up about the reason it's hurried, and why he's been in a hurry, but leaves it up to our imagination. I guess we know, right? If they want to be back by mid 2025 enlistment needs to happen by at the latest start of 2024. And in the little time left he has the single and an album to release. And my guess is there is more too. Some set for before enlistment, some set to land while they are away. JM and him.

He asks "what's after this? what is it?" laughingly answering "your curious, right?"

"What is it? I am really looking forward to it." he says cheekily.

Then he says he's working hard in preparing something for us.

And then he looks down and finds the exact comment he wants to answer:

The gist is the same.

We have JK recognizing a JM comment and answering it specifically. And I say specifically because there were PLENTY of Tae comments in his live. Layover, Tae, Slow dance, screaming at him to just say a god damn thing about Tae's album or releases. But our man, he stood fast, lol.

And don't get me wrong, I don't think he doesn't support Tae or want him to succeed. He's his bandmate and friend. But you know what he ain't, is his boyfriend. That is the one and only Mr. Park Jimin. So, it's not that JK doesn't care, it's that Tae just ain't on his mind. Wasn't it Tae that used to say, repeatedly, that JK just ignores him? Lol. But even if Tae isn't on his mind, the comments, they can definitley serve as a fucking annoying reminder. Which JK chooses very loudly to ignore. And making a statement of sorts while doing so, by reacting, out of all of those comments, to the one relating to JM.

That's what I call a big ass JK FUCK YOU to the cult.

Anyway, we were talking about JK's reaction. And when you talk about reactions you look not only at the verbal but also the body language.

The way he leans in to read the comment once he recognizes it's about JM.

The way he does that head tilt when talking about JM's dancing.

The neck crack.

The hand gesture.

Let's talk about the hand gesture for a second here.

Man knows the choreography. That hand gesture was him doing part of the choreo. Muscle memory. And his eyes and facial expression.

Also, have a look at this:

Ok, so it is funny how JK knew JM posted to IG and watched it as well... You know, considering the man told us he not only deleted his own IG account but deleted the app from his phone all together...

Thing is man monitors SM. We know that!! You think he wouldn't have seen it on Twitter? Or TikTok? JM's dance is all over the place. So yeah, my initial thought was: hey, how did he see it without an IG account? But then, you know, when common sense took over, I realised he could have seen it ANYWHERE. We know he monitors. We assume he monitors JM and Jikook accounts. He would have seen it either way.

But in any case, as I mentioned, this wouldn't have been the first and only time he has seen this choreo or dance.

JK continues to tell us he's going out for diner with staff. A good reason indeed to end the live (that like I said, he wasn't in the feels for).

And continues telling us to be curious.

Didn't someone tell him curiosity killed the cat?

At the end of the live JK makes us know he's monitoring SM (like I said before, something we already knew). He knows what fans are saying. He talks about the good. And he is thankful for those kind words.

But he also sees the bad. We know it!!

Jungkook may have things lined up for sure, because he was busy as hell. (And Bangpd won't let him rest, since he gotta use scooter)

Or maybe it's because he actually loves his solo career. I don't understand how you can be a jkk supporter yet lowkey throw shade at JK.

Not sure if you are new to my blog but i have always had a problem with Bang pd and the methods he used for US promotion.

JK was overworked and tired - as confirmed by both RM and Jimin in their weverse lives. They were genuinely worried about his health.

I know JK is ambitious too, and that he does want to to be big global popstar (he is). Bang pd has worked closely with jk throughout his chapter 2. If Bangpd wanted to, he could have eased his schedule. But he didn't. My shade is at Bangpd, who some fans even consider as 'father'. He is anything but. He is a businessman. BTS members just keep up appearance with him. There is some mutual respect, that's it. If you don't remember, let me remind you, when Jin said in Suchwita" we are family and bangpd is like our father" , Suga seriously replied "my father is my father." Even as a joke, he doesn't want to call Bangpd as his father figure.

Also, I'm not a jkk 'supporter' because never have i claimed that they are secretly dating. (Read my pinned). I like their bond and dynamics and don't deny their possibility as a couple.

I respect bts members individually first before any ship or company. And that's why I have an issue with Bangpd putting together an album for Jungkook in a hurry after releasing hits (seven, 3d, too much). If they had taken the time to make the album, we would have got JK's beautiful melodies. Golden's songs barely started any meaningful conversations in the fandom. It seemed like a bunch of songs put together with impeccable vocals. Except the big 3 (seven, 3d, and SNTY), did a single song feel like 'Euphoria'? Or 'still with you'? Or 'my time'?

Due to lack of time, scooter and bangpd collected songs, and jk approved some of them for his album. And given that JK wants to be a big artist in the US ( like taylor, drake , weeknd), they had to fast forward all his schedule. This is poor planning. And honestly, i feel bad for him, because none of the other members had to face this type of hectic schedule. Did you forget how much he was flying around the world? That's not healthy for anyone. He is not a diplomat, he needs to save his physical and mental energy to perform and sing. If I was JK's family/friend I would be extremely disappointed with his management. But since i'm a fan, I'm forced to say "Let him do whatever he wants. He is not forced by company after all." I know he's not forced, but he definitely is not the one arranging his own schedules.

I am sure he has another EP or album coming, or maybe a bunch of singles. I just hope we actually get Jungkook's ideas and flavours in his next releases.

I say this with a heavy heart, but where is Dreamers Jungkook at? He's been delivering lackluster performances ever since Seven era began. How come Euphoria was better in 2019 than today? Why did he sing more of Still With You on Weverse lives (without warming up or rehearsing beforehand) and dodged the most delicate parts of the song in only his second performance of the night (he shouldn't have been vocally fatigued). Why does he dodge all the vocally interesting bits of Seven - the falsettos, even when not doing choreo, or doing it halfheartedly? Why did he dodge his falsettos in Dynamite or some of his own parts in the English trilogy? It's not exciting seeing someone walking around on stage with his mic held up to the audience. That's not a good performance, and that's not the Jungkook I know. The fact that I now expect consistently underwhelming performances from Jungkook is so sad to me. His vocals were good when he sang, especially in Still With You (Euphoria was quite shaky at first), but at this point it's very obvious to me that he's deliberately not singing more challenging parts of his songs. I think his vocals haven't been great for a while. I hope he's doing something about it. He talked a while back about losing his voice, but in his lives they seem fine. On stage though? Dodging all the falsettos - his specialty - indicates that there's something wrong with his voice right now imo. I hope he can fix it. His energy wasn't good in his first performances either... I hope he realizes that, if he has to skip verses, he needs better choreo, or to change the way he sings, add adlibs, etc., instead of just relying on the audience's screams to fill up the empty space.

Lastly, and this isn't exactly important but it's been bugging me too haha, but he hasn't had good stage outfits since Dreamers, and lately his hair has been pretty hit and miss - and mostly miss - imo.

Overall, I feel like the last time I saw the Jungkook I know was in the Dreamers stage, and every stage since then he's shown not even half of what he can do. I sincerely hope this will change soon but I fear this Jungkook is the new Jungkook and that is beyond sad to me. I love Jungkook's vocals and performances the most, I "can't" accept he'll be delivering mid performances for the rest of his solo career. He didn't even go all out dancing in a 15 min set. Was it the rain? The ground didn't seem wet, but I don't know... I'm just sad again....

PS: The 3D snippet has Seven vibes but didn't seem bad. Fingers crossed that it's not another collab!

Tae Is Singing 😀 Jungkook's '3D' During His Weverse Live..!!!

unpopular opinion, maybe? I think everybody is being a bit dramatic about this lack of BD post. Am I the only one who’s not thinking anything about it? As to this day, I have literally 0 idea what Jikook are now. I used to think they were dating, now I’m on the fence. Could be, could have been and have moved on? To me it seems a bit weird for them to go from super lovey dovey to super close friends in the matter of ~ 1year or so but who knows.

but I don’t think much of today’s lack of interaction and Jungkook not posting. most years I wasn’t too impressed by his bd’s posts for Jimin. It never felt particularly special to me. I remember discussions about it year after year between "insecure Jikookers" and the hardcore believers. Last year’s video was 😳🧐 but that was an exception (okay maybe add that cute Twitter post he wrote some year, the one with the #sorry). With him being busy right now I wasn’t expecting anything, and I never really expected much from him the previous years anyway

I feel some of us who are unsure about Jikook today after years of thinking they were a thing, we can’t help but to wait for a sign from them especially Jk. Some are waiting for something like GCF, something big, but I don’t see anything remotely similar happening now with the popularity he has. Maybe because they’re simply not together anymore. or maybe because he’s solely focused on his album now.

More generally, I’m a bit confused about Jk’s direction now. It lacks something for me to truly believe in what he says nowadays and the music he’s putting out there. sorry, I still love him but there’s something that just doesn’t work for me, I can’t exactly pinpoint what it is. it just doesn’t feel truly authentic to me. I find most of his interviews around Seven - and 3D even more - boring and his words pretty empty..sorry. I know some ppl are going mad when we say this but it’s my opinion. Anyways. In my opinion, he’s trying to curate his image and be a bit more in control of what he shows of himself? He hasn’t shared much in his last lives. The vibe is different than at the beginning of the year. And he did say he was trying to not go on weverse as much as before because he was advised by his team, if I remember correctly. He also deleted his last tik tok because it wasn’t going with the image he wanted for his account. I don’t know, with his album coming I think he’s just focused on work and more careful about his social media presence.

At the same time, I’m side eyeing hardcore Jikookers because they are saying whatever to keep the fantasy going. If Jk didn’t spend some time with Jm today, then it is weird. No need to come up with ridiculous excuses. But we just don’t know much. Right now we just have to do with the uncertainty, but I won’t lie and pretend I’m still sure about them because I am clearly not anymore. Ouch, sorry for the rant

This is a very reasonable opinion, actually.

I think you are right in the sense that many people waited for a sign from JK and didn't get it. Many Jikookers are awfully quite right now, or are you just saying they didn't think it was a big deal in the first place, yet these are the same people who would have been ecstatic if JK had posted something and would have used it as "proof." I think people should be honest with themselves and admit that the lack of a sign is sometimes also a sign.

That being said, JK was never the best when it came to bday wishes, but still, he always made some effort for JM (except in 2020). And since things look the most unstable between them that they have in literal years, it's kind of normal to hope for something more and be disappointed when it doesn't happen.

I feel like Jungkook is in a particular place in his life as a whole. I think it's normal for people who have been fans for a long time to feel somewhat disconnected from him at this moment, as these are sides of him none of us knew. It's also normal for his music to feel inauthentic, considering he didn't participate in any stage of its creation. The truth is JK was offered these songs, and he simply took them. His work right now is a mere product, a way to achieve his goals for success and fame. Of course, it would feel impersonal when it didn't come from his own self. These are just songs that anyone could do. They are made to be popular hits and he sings then well, but there is nothing more to them.

anyway I don't know why no one is talking about this but "shot glass of tears" is literally dedicated to Seokjin when he left for the military service. Even though the songs were not written by Jungkook according to several interviews they specify that Jungkook was present at the time of production and the song was written by the same one from Dynamite and 3D, so this shows that the writer knows Jungkook and the rest of the other members and their relationships... Most of the songs were written specifically for Jungkook and his album. He chose the songs personally. Our jk specified that the album is divided into two parts: love and breakup in a relationship. Now if we analyze the text there are too many parts that connect with Jin and his life with Jungkook

If we remove the female pronoun the song shouts how Jungkook felt when Jin left him to go do his duty.

"She the life of the party"= apart from the pronoun we know how only Jin's presence was able to revive the mood of Jungkook and the members;

"It's a hard pill to swallow" "This emotion, I bottle" Jungkook who didn't say a word while with the other members was saying goodbye to Jin. With shining eyes and a hat covering his eyes;

"Need somethin' strong for the sorrow" "Somethin' strong for the pain" "So, I can wash it away"= Jungkook who started doing his weverse live with us while cooking, exercising, eating, drinking and watching shows on Netflix

I don’t know if I’m just out of the loop when it comes to current Western artists but I hadn’t heard of Harlow or Latto and I wasn’t sure why Jungkook had either or them featuring? But I guess if he’s a fan then it makes sense 🤷🏻‍♀️ Both features felt a bit out of place in their respective songs to me but hey, I’m not a music producer.

Overhearing BTS Talk About Your “Home Video”

I’m combining two requests in order to make this more interesting and get through these a bit faster. The “video” is with a BTS member, and you walk in on him talking about it with his friends/boss.

Jin

You just wanted to hide after that video of you giving your boyfriend a lap dance for his birthday went viral. BigHit agreed, so they had you stay at a super exclusive and private hotel until this whole thing blew over. One day you went shopping at the nearest convenience store because you ran out of something important. When you came back, you heard your boyfriend Jin’s voice in the living room area of your suite.

“They’re really good with their hips, so I’m not surprised a lot of people shared it.” you heard him say.

“Ah, (Y/N) is good with their hips? I guess that really helps in the bedroom.” Namjoon was there talking with him.

“What the hell are you doing, idiot?” You whacked him with your grocery bag and locked yourself in the bathroom. “Don’t talk about my hips with other people!!!”

Yoongi

“Ah, I should really be more careful when I’m posting stuff to twitter.” your currently blonde boyfriend said as he was talking to Hobi. “I deleted it, but I’m sure Army already has it saved to their phones.”

Hoseok chuckled, “Well, at least they know you’re in a passionate relationship.” And he started to mimic your moaning sounds. “Oh, oh, ah, Yoongi. Oh my god, Yoongi-ah~~!”

You left the celebratory cake you had brought to celebrate their win. It had been a month since he accidentally posted the audio clip of you playing with yourself to the group’s twitter page, but he was still talking about it with Hobi? Hot tears of embarrassment began to sting your eyes as you let the door close behind you.

“Jagiya?” You heard him call, unsure if it was actually you.

As you came to surprise him for his newest mixtape going platinum, you heard him talking with Jimin about the strip tease you had sent him while he was on tour. He had posted it on WeVerse instead of a video of himself doing the latest viral dance. That was two, three months ago. The younger one was teasing his hyung by imitating you and singing the music on his own.

“Jimin, stop it.” He laughed and pushed the boy off of him. “You’re being we-e-eird.” The man continued to giggled through his words.

You revealed yourself with your arms folded and a very stern pout on your face. Your boyfriend shoved the smaller man onto the floor and looked at you, surprised. None of you said anything, but Jimin quickly left the room after greeting you and saying goodbye all in one breath.

“I’m sorry, jagiya. He was just--”

“Shut up.” You said, and he did. Then you sighed and closed the door. “First off, you’re lucky I love you. Second, do you want to see that video in 3D?”

Namjoon

People were still talking about your dumb video of you sexy dancing to “Expensive Girl” that had only been meant for Namjoon’s eyes until his phone got hacked. Good news, it made the song go to #15 on the charts and he was making money from it. Bad news was the same as the good news. Both of you were mortified to show your faces in public, and you couldn’t escape the video because it went internationally viral thanks to the wonders of the internet.

V and Kookie were hopping around him singing the song in the typical annoying and dramatic fashion, trying to be as obnoxious as possible. Then he noticed you standing there and cleared his throat.

“Hey, jagi...” He said, making the two freeze in their tracks. “I’m sorry. I’m so embarrassed.” their apologies overlapped with each other.

You sat in his lap and looked at the two younger members, “Why are you embarrassed? Because the song is true? Or are you jealous because you don’t get to experience it?”

Jimin

You were in the car with your boyfriend Jimin who looked great with his mint colored hair and Kookie. Your stomach growled, so Jimin made their driver stop at a convenience store to get you something to eat. “I won’t be even five minutes.” You said and made a quick trip because the last thing you wanted was for the cashier or any of the other shoppers to recognize you as Jimin’s partner, especially after a particularly lewd video of you and him went viral.

When you got back to the car with a $2 sandwich, you opened the door on Jimin smiling with his head in his hand not looking at the store, “Yes, (Y/N) does actually taste like banana cream. I wasn’t just saying it to be funny.”

“Oh my god.” You dropped the plastic container. “I am going to murder you.”

“Murder him once we’re done with the schedule.” The manager said putting you and the sandwich back into the car and closing the door. It was a quiet and tense ride to Music Bank.

Taehyung

Your eyes were so swollen from crying. People were saying such rude and disgusting things about you on the internet since your boyfriend posted the wrong picture of his art and instead included the edible paint he used on your chest and stomach. He had apologized to you and to the fans. He was being cancelled left and right, but he was used to that. You weren’t, so you had spent the night sobbing in his arms.

“When I was painting (Y/N)’s nipples, I kept going over them because they’re really sensitive. It was so cute to see--”

“Are you fucking kidding me?” You started to tear up again but you were so dehydrated that nothing came out. “I spend hours crying that people are talking about my private sex life and here you are sharing details with your guy pals?”

You threw the nearest thing you could grab at him which was one of Yeontan’s toys. However, you didn’t even wait to see if it hit him because you were out the door.

Someone had posted the video of you and your muscle bunny working out and then making out and then giving him a blow job. It was on the silent CCTV you were sure had been broken for years. You were sneaking your way to your boyfriend’s place to ask what you were going to do about it, and you ended up walking in on him talking with Namjoon, probably also getting some advice.

You were fuming but decided to hear him out. This was a delicate situation, and maybe you two would need couple’s therapy to get through this. It was worth it. You wanted to be with him for a long time, and he felt the same.
