What if I just don't come to work tomorrow?
I love keeping busy, I love menial tasks, uploading all the shared festive content to our backend to schedule for the holidays when we're closed is fine in theory, unless one paper STEALS all their festive articles. And they're not even hiding it at all they just 0ut "source: financial times" at the end, not linking to the original, not editorializing, nothing just the journalist equivalent to "credit goes to artist".
The other newspaper uploaded just now, the deadline is in 4 hours by the way and half of the newspapers have yet to upload their share of festive content, and they uploaded the SAME ARTICLE TWICE. They changed the headlines, feature image and teaser but the financial tips list is the exact same, just formatted differently.
Here's the thing though, we're community newspapers and our intellectual property (articles) belong to the company that owns all of us. So as a result, we have the festive season content sharing among the region so every single newspaper doesn't have to write 64 articles within a month for the festive season. Each branch (newspaper) has to submit three articles, with a single feature image each, by way of uploading it to the shared Google drive. Just three. It's been made as easy as possible, the drive has been open for a month, every editor was aware of the drive and deadline for the entire time. It's literally so easy to just write three original articles among an entire newsroom over the course of a month. WHY THE FUCK ARE WE STEALING CONTENT???
It pisses me off, you can tell my highest grades were in media law and ethics I'm embodying that strong sense of justice autism right now. If you create content in any format for public consumption please for the love of god just make original content yourself? Or at least get explicit written permission to aggregate it???
Thank you that's all

I tried to send this in but the page kept saying there was an error, sorry if you get this ask more then once
I am obsessed with these little remote control car videos people are posting - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGQ6l5gPJBF/?igsh=MWU3Z2Jvam54NGQ4cQ==
They’re literally all I’ve been seeing, and as someone who loves dumb silly shenanigans this is right up my alley!! Could I ask for how tfp Ratchet would react if his human s/o brought one of these things as a means to playfully tease him??
Ratchet is looking for his tool that “mysteriously” went missing?? His so drives over their toy car to Ratchet with the said tool ontop. His s/o is trying to woo him? They drive their little car over with some stupid bumper sticker saying “Honk if you’re flirting” and they’ll make their toy car honk its horn.
Bonus: Ratchet’s s/o named their toy car Ratchet junior. No they won’t change it. That tiny car is their child
Junior
Tumblr media
A hushed swear tumbles out of his intake, covered by the clatter of tools as he moves and replaces them in search for his pliers. He could've sworn he left them on his desk, but perhaps they were knocked off? With all the ruckus of the silo, he wouldn't be surprised to find them squished on the underside of Bulkhead's pedes.
"Scrapin' pliers." He sighs, not for the first time. This time, however, his complaining is followed by the squeal of little rubber tires.
Ratchet turns, huffing at the sight of your little toy car, so affectionately named 'Ratchet Jr.', skidding around with his pliers attached to the top. It bops to the tip of his pede, beeping so he'll reach down and take the offered present.
With a sigh that's not amused, at least he won't let it sound as such, Ratchet calls your name. "Your little toy delivered my tool. Thank you, I suppose."
A flurry of beeps are his reply. The car does elated donuts like an energetic sparkling finally discovering their first alt mode. Ratchet finally notices something new to backend as well, a large sticker plastered over the bumper that reads 'I HONK IF I LOVE YOU!'
Junior flashes its lights and honks almost nonstop.
Ratchet has to cover his face with a servo to hide his blush. He knocks the toy with his pede, hearing your distressed cry echo out into the silo when Junior is rendered still on its back. Now the beeping sounds more frantic, until there's a clip of an emergency siren squeaking out of the car's speakers.
And Ratchet laughs, because he has to. You and Junior both are too cute not to be endeared by your antics.

Where have you been?
The backend of the pen tapped against the paper.
"Matt Kelly."
Amongst all the data, one name had stuck out.
She was holding up her spiral to Caleb, who's brows furrowed slightly, eyes narrowing at the scrawl of notes.
The hotel room they'd been staying in was, admittedly, organized chaos. The entire floor beside the window had become dedicated to everything they'd been collecting; newspapers, invitations, registries, bank statements, dozens of things, categorized by type and ordered by relevance.
For the past several days, they had been painstakingly combing through all of it.
And it seemed that had finally paid off.
Sasha tapped at the page again for emphasis. "Matt Kelly. Seemingly appeared out of nowhere in twenty sixteen. No legitimate ID, no previous public records, nothing."
Caleb's eyes widened slightly. "He changed his name. That's why we couldn't find him."
"Precisely."
Leaning back on one hand from where she sat on the bed, she tipped her head to one said, looking down at it.
"How creative, Mister Mathew Kelly Nelson Junior. Truly the most innovative disguise."
Caleb made a face, fiddling with the collar of their shirt. "It really is just sheer incompetence they never found him, huh?"
"Almost certainly."
They sat down across from her while she quickly flipped through the pages. Truly it was nothing short of idiocy or a miracle that nobody had pieced it together yet.
"It appears he didn't even wait that long. The first record of Mister 'Kelly' was July thirtieth, with the Driftveil National Bank, trying to take out a loan."
A scowl crossed her face. "I suppose the blood money from Team Plasma wasn't quite enough for him."
A beat of silence passed, but Caleb quickly interjected it, their mannerisms always buzzing with that nervous energy. "Anything recent?"
A sigh, her shoulders dropped. "No. At least not in what we have."
"Well, at the very least," they put a hand on her arm, a small reassurance, "we know what to look for now."
A smile crossed her face, and she sat up straighter, meeting their eye. "We do. And if anything, the timing may be perfect."
Reaching across the scattered documents, she picked up a slip from the recent newspaper. "It seems the late Grimshaw's stunt, may he rest in peace, has the police rather occupied. If anything may go awry, we at least won't have the jennys on our tail."
"Well, that's one less thing to worry about." They fidgeted idly as they spoke.
As if they ever stopped worrying. But they were correct, one less risk could mean everything.
Now, all that was left to do was focus their scope.

Hey all, if any of you know someone looking for a Backend Dev, I got laid off. I'm good with Groovy and SpringBoot and can learn pretty much any environment. I have passing familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Django, and most kinds of commonly used databases.
In the past I've been a Frontend Dev as well. Primarily focused on Bootstrap, Next.JS, and React, using standard HTML/JS/CSS stack.
I've been learning GameBoy programming in my free time and finding a joy in Small Device programming that might extend well to a junior embedded systems job.
I've worked on major systems used by colleges and libraries, and I've worked on a scheduling system with ~500 medical facilities as their customers.
You might have seen my posts about Computer Science. If they seem like they might be relevant to someone's needs and you're willing to act as a recommendation for me, please reach out.

How Much Does A Shopify Developer Cost In 2025? Country-Wise Breakdown
If you're looking to hire a Shopify developer in 2025, one of the first questions that comes up is: how much will it cost? The answer depends on where your developer is located and what level of expertise you need.
In this article, we’ll break down Shopify developer hourly rates by country, helping you understand what to expect whether you’re hiring locally in the USA or outsourcing to regions like India or Eastern Europe.
Tumblr media
Why Location Affects Shopify Developer Costs
The cost of hiring a Shopify developer isn’t just about skill—it's also influenced by:
Local cost of living
Currency exchange rates
Market demand and supply
Talent availability
This is why developers in the USA often charge 3–5x more than equally skilled developers in countries like India or the Philippines.
Shopify Developer Rates by Region (2025 Update)
 United States
Hourly Rate: $75 – $150+
Typical Roles: Senior freelancers, Shopify Plus experts, US-based agencies
Best for: Complex, high-budget stores, brands targeting US audiences
Pros:
Easier collaboration due to time zone
High code quality & communication
Shopify Plus specialization available
Cons:
High cost, especially for startups
Many agencies require monthly retainers
India
Hourly Rate: $15 – $40
Typical Roles: Freelancers, mid-level Shopify developers, outsourcing firms
Best for: Startups, MVPs, simple to mid-level store builds
Pros:
Affordable rates
Large talent pool
Fast delivery timelines
Cons:
Time zone differences
Variable communication skills (depends on freelancer/agency)
Eastern Europe (Romania, Ukraine, Poland, etc.)
Hourly Rate: $30 – $70
Typical Roles: Highly skilled freelancers, boutique agencies
Best for: Quality development with mid-range pricing
Pros:
Strong technical skills
Good communication (many fluent in English)
More affordable than US-based talent
Cons:
Slightly higher cost than Asia
Political stability concerns in some areas (e.g., Ukraine)
What Affects the Final Cost Beyond Location ?
Even within the same country, the hourly rate for Shopify developers varies based on:
 Experience Level (Junior vs Senior)
Type of Work (Frontend design, backend dev, app integration)
 Deadline Urgency
Scope (Basic theme edit vs. Custom Shopify Plus store)
USA vs India: Real-World Example
Let’s say you're building a custom Shopify store with 10 product pages and integrated payment gateways.
USA Developer (100 hours @ $100/hr) → $10,000
India Developer (100 hours @ $25/hr) → $2,500
Same work, different budget. The key is knowing what level of quality and speed you’re getting for the price.
Conclusion:
In 2025, you can expect to pay anywhere from $15 to $150 per hour for a Shopify developer depending on:
Where they’re located
What type of work you need
How complex your store is
If you're unsure, start with a small paid test project before committing to a long-term contract.

How to Hire a Mobile App Development Company in 2025
Having a killer app idea is exciting. But turning that idea into a polished, high-performing product? That’s where things get tricky.
If you’re planning to build an app that users will love and that drives real business results one decision matters more than any other: which mobile app development company you hire.
The wrong choice can mean blown budgets, delayed launches, poor UX, and apps that collect dust. The right choice can launch your product to market faster, with better features, higher user engagement, and long-term value.
This guide will show you exactly how to hire the right mobile app development company step by step.
Why Hiring the Right Mobile App Development Company Matters
You’re not just buying code. You’re buying:
Deep expertise across iOS, Android, and cross-platform
UX and UI that win and retain users
Scalable architecture
Security and compliance
Speed to market
Long-term support and updates
A good app can transform your business. A bad app can harm your brand. Choose wisely.
1. Know Your App Goals Before You Start Searching
Before you reach out to any developers, get clear on:
What does your app need to do?
Who is your target audience?
What platforms will you launch on iOS, Android, or both?
What key features do you need? (Think payments, GPS, push notifications, AI)
What’s your budget?
When do you want to launch?
This will help you filter out companies that don’t align with your goals and have smarter conversations with the ones that do.
2. Where to Find Great Mobile App Development Companies
Not all agencies are created equal. To find the best:
Search trusted directories (Clutch, GoodFirms)
Ask your network and business contacts
Look at LinkedIn case studies
Explore app store credits to see which companies built top-rated apps
Pro tip: Don’t just Google “top mobile app development company” those lists are often paid placements. Always check portfolios and verified reviews.
3. How to Vet and Compare Companies
When you’ve got your shortlist, here’s how to vet them:
Portfolio: Have they built apps in your industry?
Client reviews: What do past clients say?
Team: Will you work with senior developers or juniors?
Tech stack: Are they experienced with what you need (Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Swift)?
Process: Do they use Agile or Scrum for faster, iterative releases?
Communication: Are they responsive and clear?
Post-launch: Do they offer maintenance and updates?
4. Ask These Smart Questions Before You Hire
Don’t hire until you’ve asked:
Can I see live apps you’ve built?
What’s your project timeline and process?
Who will be on my team?
How do you manage quality assurance and testing?
How do you handle app security and data privacy?
Will I own the IP of the app?
What is your approach to app updates post-launch?
A top mobile app development company should be able to answer these questions clearly and confidently.
For example, at Hudasoft, we provide full transparency on every project. You’ll see real apps we’ve delivered, get a clear timeline, work with senior designers and developers, and have complete clarity on IP ownership, security standards, and post-launch support. From day one, you’ll know exactly how your app is being built and how we’ll support it long after launch.
5. Beware of Common Mistakes
Here’s how companies get burned when hiring a mobile app development company:
Choosing the cheapest option, you get what you pay for
Not checking actual live apps
Rushing the hiring process
Failing to define clear project requirements
Overlooking post-launch maintenance
6. How Much Does It Cost to Hire a Mobile App Development Company?
Here’s a ballpark:
Simple MVP: $15,000–$30,000
Mid-level app: $40,000–$80,000
Complex app or enterprise solution: $100,000+
Costs vary depending on:
Features and integrations
Platforms (iOS, Android, cross-platform)
Custom design and animations
API and backend complexity
A good development partner will give you a detailed, transparent quote after understanding your scope.
7. The Hiring Process: From First Call to Kickoff
Here’s what your hiring process should look like:
Define your goals and budget
Build a shortlist of companies
Have discovery calls
Review proposals and timelines
Check references and client reviews
Finalize contracts, define scope, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms
Start with a kickoff workshop to align the team
Final Word: Build Smarter Hire the Right Mobile App Development Company
Hiring the right mobile app development company can mean the difference between a product that wins or one that flops.
The best companies will bring more than code. They’ll bring experience, business insight, creative thinking, and technical excellence, guiding you from concept to launch and beyond.
If you want your app to hit the market faster, perform better, and delight users, choose your partner carefully. Ask the right questions. Look for proven expertise. And think long-term.
Your future app (and your business) will thank you.

From Confused to Coder! Why 2025 Is the Best Year to Start Your Tech Career
If you’ve been thinking, “I want to do something in tech… but I have no idea where to start,” you’re not alone.
Maybe you’re a student unsure about college, someone stuck in a job you don’t enjoy, or a person who’s just curious about how websites and apps work. Guess what? You don’t need a CS degree, 10 years of math, or a genius IQ to start.
2025 is the best year yet to break into tech, and it’s never been more beginner friendly if you know where to look and how to learn smart.
🔥 Why Tech Is Still the Best Career Bet
Despite market fluctuations, one thing is clear: every business is going digital. That means endless demand for people who can design, code, and build technology.
Here’s why tech is still a great place to be in 2025:
Remote-friendly jobs – work from anywhere
Creative freedom – build tools, products, even games
High pay, even for juniors
Merit-based growth – no degree? No problem
Startup boom – more companies need tech talent than ever
🤔 But Where Do I Start?
That’s the golden question.
There are so many options web development, app development, data science, AI, design, cybersecurity that it’s easy to freeze.
If you’re new and unsure, start with Full Stack Web Development. It gives you:
A strong foundation (frontend + backend)
Freedom to build real projects
Flexibility to pivot later into mobile apps, DevOps, or even product roles
You’ll be able to create full working products on your own and nothing builds confidence like seeing something you made come to life.
💡 Real Learning > Theory Overload
Most people fail to break into tech because they go the wrong way:
Watching tutorials for months
Taking notes but never building
Getting stuck on “which course is best?” for weeks
Truth is, the best way to learn tech is to build things. Even better if you’re doing it with structure, mentorship, and real deadlines.
This is exactly what makes places like Brototype - Kerala’s best software training institute stand out. Instead of endless theory, their students dive straight into real-world coding, team collaboration, and job-focused challenges from day one.
It’s not just about writing code. It’s about building the mindset of a developer.
🚀 What a Real Beginner’s Tech Journey Looks Like
Here’s what your first 6 months could look like:
Month 1–2:
Learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Build your first website
Understand how the web works
Month 3–4:
Learn a frontend framework (like React)
Build UI components, dashboards, small projects
Month 5–6:
Learn backend (Node.js, Express)
Work with databases (MongoDB)
Build full stack apps with login, APIs, and dashboards
You won’t just learn. You’ll build a portfolio. That’s what gets you hired.
📈 What You Can Do After 6–9 Months of Focused Learning
Get your first internship or remote job
Start freelancing on platforms like Upwork
Work on real client projects

Crack the Code: Why Learning Java Is Still One of the Smartest Career Moves in 2025
In a world of constantly changing tech trends—where Python, Kotlin, and JavaScript dominate discussions—Java continues to stand strong. And if you're a student or fresher looking to enter the tech industry, learning Java might just be your smartest investment yet.
Why? Because Java is everywhere. From Android apps to enterprise systems, banking software to back-end platforms—Java powers millions of applications used daily. And the demand for skilled Java developers isn't just staying steady; it's growing.
In 2025, Java remains a gateway to building a robust, long-lasting career in software development. And thanks to platforms like Beep, students now have access to hands-on, Java programming courses for beginners that are affordable, practical, and job-oriented.
Why Java Still Rules the Backend World
Some people wrongly assume Java is “old school.” But ask any senior developer, and you’ll hear the same thing: Java is battle-tested, secure, and versatile.
Here’s why companies continue to prefer Java:
Scalability: Perfect for high-traffic apps and large databases
Platform independence: “Write once, run anywhere” is still relevant
Community support: Millions of developers worldwide
Enterprise adoption: Banks, telecoms, logistics firms, and even startups love Java’s stability
Whether you're building a mobile app or designing a cloud-based ERP, Java offers the tools to scale and succeed.
What Makes Java Perfect for Beginners
You don’t need to be an expert to start with Java. In fact, many colleges use Java as a foundation for teaching object-oriented programming (OOP).
As a beginner, you’ll gain core skills that apply across languages:
Variables, data types, control structures
Classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism
File handling, exception management
Basic UI development using JavaFX or Swing
Introduction to frameworks like Spring (as you advance)
This foundation makes it easier to switch to more specialized stacks later (like Android or Spring Boot) or even pick up other languages like Python or C#.
Where to Start Learning Java the Right Way
While YouTube and free tutorials are good for browsing, structured learning is better for job-readiness. That’s why Beep offers a beginner-friendly Java programming course that’s designed specifically for students and freshers.
What makes this course ideal:
It covers both basic and intermediate concepts
You build real-world projects along the way
You learn how Java is used in interviews and job scenarios
You get certified upon completion—great for your resume
It’s flexible and can be completed alongside college or internship schedules
And if you’re aiming for backend developer jobs, this certification is a strong step in the right direction.
How Java Helps You Land Jobs Faster
Hiring managers love candidates who know Java for one simple reason—it’s practical.
Java-trained freshers can apply for roles like:
Junior Software Developer
Backend Developer
QA Engineer (Automation Testing)
Android App Developer
Support Engineer (Java-based systems)
These roles often mention Java and SQL as core requirements, making it easier for you to stand out if you’ve completed a course and built some small projects.
Explore the latest jobs for freshers in India on Beep that list Java among the top preferred skills.
Build Projects, Not Just Skills
To truly master Java—and get noticed—you need to build and share your work. Here are some beginner-friendly project ideas:
Student registration portal
Simple inventory management system
Expense tracker
Quiz game using JavaFX
File encryption/decryption tool
Host these on GitHub and add them to your resume. Recruiters love seeing what you’ve created, not just what you’ve studied.
What About Java vs. Python?
This is a common question among freshers: Should I learn Java or Python?
The answer: learn based on your goals.
Want to work in data science or AI? Python is ideal.
Want to build robust applications, Android apps, or work in enterprise systems? Java is your best bet.
Also, once you understand Java, learning Python becomes easier. So why not start with the tougher but more rewarding path?
How to Prepare for Java Interviews
Once you’ve got the basics down and completed a project or two, start preparing for interviews with:
Practice problems on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank
Study key Java topics: Collections, OOP principles, exception handling
Learn basic SQL (many Java jobs also require DB interaction)
Brush up on scenario-based questions
You can also check out Beep’s resources for interview prep alongside your course content.
Final Thoughts: Learn Once, Earn Always
Learning Java isn’t just about getting your first job—it’s about building a lifelong skill. Java has been around for over two decades, and it’s not going anywhere. From web to mobile to enterprise, Java developers are always in demand.
So if you're ready to start your tech journey, don't chase trends. Build a solid base. Start with the best Java course for beginners, practice consistently, and apply with confidence. Because a well-written Java application—and resume—can open more doors than you think.

"Bhai, Board Kis Brand Ka Hai?" — The One Question That Says It All on Site
If you’ve ever spent a day on a construction site, you know how quickly things move.
“Ceiling keliye board aaya?” “Kaunsa brand hai?” “Waise hi board toot gayakya?” “Jaldilagao, par cracks nahichahiye.”
These aren’t dialogues from a script — they’re everyday conversations between contractors, foremen, and site engineers across India. And at the heart of these chats lies one silent factor: trust in the board brand.
Because when it comes to false ceiling and drywall work, one wrong board can stall the entire timeline. That’s why there’s constant discussion about the Best Gypsum Board Brand in India — and one name keeps rising to the top: Buildwell.
Tumblr media
🎯 Why the Board Brand Matters More Than You Think
You may think all gypsum boards look the same — a white sheet with paper lining.
But ask a contractor who’s done over 100 projects, and he’ll tell you:
“Board agar barobarnahimilatoh fitting se lekar finishing tak sab gadbadhojaatahai.”
The best gypsum board brand in India isn’t about looks — it’s about performance at site:
Does it stay straight or bend over time?
Does it break while cutting or screwing?
Does it take finish well without bubbling or chipping?
Does it survive high humidity or slight leaks?
That’s why Buildwell’s boards are used not just because of marketing, but because they survive real Indian conditions.
🧱 What Makes Buildwell Boards Stand Out?
Here’s what contractors across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities appreciate:
High core strength – fewer cracks during transport or installation
Smooth paper finish – accepts paint and compound evenly
Stable size & edge integrity – easier to align and joint
Good moisture resistance (MR board) – works even in kitchens or bathrooms
Consistent density – boards don't feel weak or patchy in sections
Whether it’s single-layer ceilings or double-layer partitions, the name Buildwell has earned a solid reputation as the best gypsum board brand in India simply because it saves time, rework, and complaints.
🔧 Installer-Friendly, Site-Approved
Talk to any ceiling fitter or POP contractor, and they’ll tell you:
"Yeh board barabarlagtahai"
"Screws achhe se pakadtehain"
"Jointing easy hotahai"
"Cut karnemein clean edge miltahai"
These are the practical checkboxes that matter on real sites — not what’s printed on the box.
Buildwell passes these tests every time, which is why its demand has surged in residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors.
🏢 Real Projects Trust Buildwell
From budget apartments in Jaipur to premium hotels in Ludhiana, Buildwell gypsum boards are now part of:
Large-scale false ceiling installations
Non-load-bearing interior partition walls
POP ceiling designs with complex curves
Commercial ceiling grids and lighting cut-outs
Modular office partitions and cleanroom setups
Builders don’t just want cost-effective products — they want zero rework, zero client complaints, and faster finishing. And that’s what Buildwell delivers.
🚚 Not Just the Board — But the Backend Support
What also makes Buildwell the best gypsum board brand in India is its supply chain:
Pan-India logistics
Warehouse stocking in major zones
Consistent availability
Support for dealers and contractors with volume orders
No last-minute “stock khatam hogaya” issues.
📦 Product Range You Can Trust
While the focus here is gypsum boards, it’s worth noting that Buildwell offers:
Regular gypsum boards – ideal for dry areas
Moisture-resistant (MR) boards – for kitchens, washrooms, or coastal cities
Fire-retardant options (on request) for specialized projects
And all these boards integrate smoothly with Buildwell’s jointing compound, tapes, screws, and framing — giving installers a complete system that actually works together.
💬 Final Word from the Site
When a junior contractor asks “Sir, kaunsa board use karein?”, most seniors give a short answer:
“Buildwelllelo — kaamekbaarmeinhojaatahai.”
And that’s the biggest compliment any brand can get. No fancy pitch. No 5-page brochure.
Just a single-line recommendation passed between professionals.
That’s what makes Buildwell the best gypsum board brand in India — because it’s trusted where it matters most: on-site.
