Junkbook Shop

In light of my immanent move to South Korea, I am opening an (unofficial) shop for my craft! My hobby is called junkbooking, and it's similar to scrapbooking except each page is based off of a color or a concept. I have pages based on color, as well as some based on different Stray Kids songs or the boys themselves!

If you don't see something you like but would like something like this, feel free to message me and we can work on a commission. When I move to Korea, I won't have my materials so commissions are open until August 18th, 2024. I only have stickers for Stray Kids, so I will be unable to accept K-pop commissions for other groups.

The quantity of each page is exactly one, as each one is unique! To peruse the shop This Link will take you to Google photos where you can see all of the pages up for grabs and the prices attached! Every craft is under $8!

“Drawing from and citing your experience, what is writing?”

Writing is putting words together to make text for whatever context you decide it for. An act of communication. It's something that makes us human.

For me, writing is just an everyday thing. It can be deep and meaningful but it also includes the little scribbles of notes I do on the sides of paper or my hands. I am also an avid notes app user for all my stupid silly thoughts. They tend to go in there and get forgotten but it's always so fun coming back to them and seeing what I thought then. 

As of late, I’ve been trying to journal and bring it with me wherever I go. I usually keep a junk notebook with me just to write in. I fill it with to-do lists, ideas, things I want, dreams, doodles, or even homework.

Here's what my current junk book looks like currently. I do need more stickers though...

I don't think anyone truly understands how cravenly I yearn to create my own village. To construct a space for me and my own. I want a sprawling English style brick manor overgrown with tendrils of ivy. I want interesting turrets and windows, extraordinary crown moldings, doors where you'd expect walls and windows where you'd expect doors.

I can't wait to make this place alive. To litter it with things and gadgets and doodads and thingys. I hunger to mess it up. I crave to wear a divot into the wooden seat of my stool in the kitchen.

I will have a room entirely dedicated to junkbooking. What else is more fitting to dedicate an entire room to than a hobby comprised of appreciating the mundane and discarded?

Whatever it is I want in this life, which I know is certainly not to put down roots, I want a place to be my own. Maybe this place is within me, but as it stands now, it is a beautiful house secluded in the thick New England forests. No spiders can exist in a 15 mile radius of the property. I do not pay taxes. I do not have a credit score. I do not pay for water or electricity or waste disposal or Internet or groceries or toiletries. I am finally happy.
