March hols 2021 - Thankful for church mummies who invited the kids for play dates at their homes and Papa Teo who made sure the kids had a fun-filled break! He even signed them up for Forest Play at Sentosa which got them all muddy. Do you know? Asian Openbill (Anastomus oscitans) during breeding seasons, they are mostly white in color, while in non-breeding seasons, their plumage takes on a greyish hue. These birds have a bill that does not completely close. The tips touch but otherwise the top and bottom of the bill do not. One can see through the bill from one side to another. This unusual arrangement makes it easier to extract the snails from their shells. . Spanning 90 hectares in the heartlands, Jurong Lake Gardens is Singapore’s new national gardens comprising Lakeside Garden, Chinese and Japanese Gardens and Garden Promenade. The first to open is Lakeside Garden, which features many interesting spaces for families and the community, including an Aquatic Garden and many walking trails.
