Dream could only stare at this sludge coated monster, their glare painfully familiar. This was what the corruption did to him. This was what he did to him.

He doesn't remember. Dream feels kind of glad, then mentally kicks himself for feeling so. For being such a coward. He can't even look his once brother in the eye.

The guilt grows even more, and he keeps another sorry locked up in his jaw.

Me and my husband (by Mitski) but it's the farmer getting overwhelmed and Elliott being by their side.
