Okay... this one was so fun! Corey fully SNAPPED, the dancing was ICONIC, and Glo did that, the song choice was very like... classic lip syncy but you lot did that, this was a wild ride. I think this one felt the most like a whole tribe effort, which is something I think is super commendable?

Okay this one was SO cute. Big props to the editing, like... it wasn't just flipping back and forth but you had the colours and Orlando Bloom which was really fun I loved it a lot. I also thought it was smart to do best of both worlds thematically for the nature of your tribe, I just thought this was so CLEVER. Drew/Monty/Sammy fully snapped and I'm 100% here for it. Only thing I put low was originality because  I feel its a relatively predictable song choice idk akjsldf?

Amir was serving me salt-bae realness, that one guy in the pink was crushing the lip sync… and well…need I say more about the person in the onesie? (Also you scared me shitless the whole time). 8.5 Editing: Honestly, the editing was fine? Wasn’t stellar but also wasn’t horrible. It’s a pass. 7 Overall Effort: If I was rating this video solely based on the person in the leather it’d be a 10. Honestly this is a solid 6ish for me! Gotta give me more people! 6.5

okay so this one... started so confusingly... with the bin bag mannequin? askjdfalf, but the onesie dancing with it going on was AJSDLKSAF, Lukas this was iconic. Dylan R did some AMAZING lip syncing, as did Eddie. I think you were let down by that it was just you three in the video? Like you REALLY snapped and did amazing as the three of you, but it would've been great to see more of the tribe? like I score you lot highest on creativity/entertainment, and then less on editing/effort because you had a fair bit less to work with

hello all!

I thought it was time to recap some of the events that have happened over the past few weeks since I last made a similar post (12 mars !!) :)

15 mars (onsdag): Anne Britt showed me a cute running loop a few minutes from my school and we went for a jog :) 🏃‍♀️⛰ it was near some ski jumps which we climbed up and got some take off practice for next winter ;) shoutout to my new workout partner!

17 mars: I went to a Norwegian movie theatre with some friends, which was defintely an experience. The building the theatre was in was an old stone tower, and it was decorated on the inside to match the movie we were seeing, Beauty and the Beast. There was even a man dressed in a cloak and top hat collecting tickets/making an announcement before the movie started. Dramatic stuff !! 

23 mars: Helge and I took a trip into the city in the evening to attempt to hike the stairs up to Fjellstua, an outlook over Ålesund City, but unfortunately it was too icy to go the whole way. Despite this it was still a really neat trip because I hadn’t been to the base of the Fjellstua stairs before, and it was a beautiful park. It had lights illuminating the whole, sprawling base and leading up to the staircase, looking over the city. It was so beautiful and I’m excited to hike the whole thing soon!

25 mars: I adventured around my neighborhood for a couple hours with our neighbor’s very photogenic dog which made me (again) appreciate how stunning it is here ! You can walk anywhere for just a few minutes and see something that gives you a whole new perspective on Ålesund.

27 mars (mandag): A while ago I wrote about the week my class went to Italy, and this past week the Italians came and visited us !! 🇮🇹🎉 They got here on Sunday but since I didn’t host anyone I meet them all on Monday :) It was really cool to be apart of a group with people from two completely different countries and cultures (I might write to that more later). On Monday we went to the Sunnmøre Museum in Ålesund (where my host dad grew up working in the summers) and saw some cool stuff, like old Viking ships and an immitation village. There is such rich history here. After the museum tour was over we were dismissed, and one interesting thing that stood out to me from that day was that we didn’t take a bus back to school or anything, the teachers kind of just said we could go home, so we just had to figure out which bus to take to get where we needed to be. I feel like this would never happen in the US, especially with an exchange group on the first day (even though everything was peachy)! Later that night a few of us had a cookout on a little island looking out over the sea, which was really fun. It was interesting to see how effortlessly/casually everyone interacted even though we were from different parts of the globe and spoke different first languages (we all spoke English together which was nice for me ;)) <3 fun fun!

28 mars: Tuesday was very fun as well, for a couple of reasons...🎈🎂😉 We started out the day by going to a place called Lekeland, which was basically an indoor play park for little kids. We had a presentation about the company, as a big focus of the week was to learn about local businesses and how they differ between Florence and Ålesund. After the prez we got to play!! It was a wonderful way to celebrate turning 17 :)) After a couple hours of running around ball pits and slides we headed to Ålesund City to walk around and sightsee/go to an old historical museum about Ålesund. We were split into groups and could roam freely throughout the city without a chaperone, which again, would probably never happen in the US. We met at the museum and got to hear about the big Ålesund fire in 1904. The fire burned down every building in the city except for one, but surprisingly only one person was killed. One fun fact I learned was the Kaiser Wilhelm II gave a lot of aid to Ålesund’s reconstruction, which explains why Ålesund has some German inspiration in the buildings (it also explains why Ålesund wasn’t destroyed in WWII even though all of the surrounding towns were). The museum was in an old pharmacy that used to be a fancy house, so we got a tour of the preserved rooms which was interesting. I wish I could write down every fact I learned! Later that day I celebrated my birthday with my family and contact family with food, cake and presents. It was so wonderful to be in their company, and I’m so thankful for their generousity!! I got BEAUTIFUL gifts/cards from them (including an adorable homemade bracelet from our neighbor Sigrid and Norwegian mittens from hønemama🙃) as well as family back home <3 It was so nice to get messages from people everywhere wishing me a happy birthday!! Truly one to remember 😊

29 mars: We started out the day by going to a local fish factory and watching fish get their heads chopped off/gutted/dried ! :)) Everyone got decked out head to toe in high fashion scrubs before the tour to prevent the fish from getting on us, because although the facotry was clean there was fish everywhere! It smelled to high heaven but it was neat to see how the factory worked, as I have eaten the fish they produce there in my time here. We followed up the tour with a presentation by one of the company’s heads at their headquarters (which was very sleek, modern and Scandinavian I might add). After learning some stats about the company we went to Fjellstua’s restaurant (the overlook I mentioned earlier) and ate bacalao, a dish made with the fish we learned about. tasty🍴!! After school some people from our class had a cookout on a beach in town which was a blast. It wasn’t very warm, but it was super cozy to play volleyball and listen to music around a fire together 💕 A couple of us even took a dip! 

30 mars: On Thursday we went for a small group hike 🏔 We climbed up the face of a small ski hill (so small it wasn’t skiable this season) about five minutes from school, which took 40 minutes or so. We took a quick pause then headed to the summit for another 30 minutes, and it started snowing once we got to the top! It was cool for the Italians because they rarely get snow in Florence ❄︎ ❄︎ It was pretty relaxed and everyone went at their own rate, which made it interesting to see how the Norwegians and Italians differed in athleticism :) Later that night we rented out a gym for the class and had pizza/played sports. There were some dinky plastic lacrosse sticks in the closet, and I FLIPPED OUT when I saw them!! It was so so nice to chilLAX (wowowow good one elsa!) again, and it made me miss sports in the US for sure! (Fotball is still going well though, first game in a couple weeks ⚽) busy busy, tiring day !! (also happy belated birthday Pops! the big 5-0!)

31 mars: On Friday we all worked on group presentations about local business and gave them to the class. That evening we had a banquet celebrating the exchange program with parents which was bittersweet ❣️ There was a lot of singing/dancing until late hours to follow :) One thing I defintely realized this week is how universal music is 🌎🌍🌏

1 apri (lordag): I flew back to the US unexpectedly!! 😱😱 psychhhh april fools !! I know I had you all convinced, sorry for the scare ;) ! Our class went out dinner Saturday night for one last hurrah and spent some final time together afterwards <3 It was crazy how much more comfortable everyone got with one another over that single week, which made saying goodbye tough that night!

From that Sunday until now nothing particularly noteworthy has happened, but I have Easter break next week and am going to Oslo with my family!! Thanks again for checking in!

My favourite and least favourite seasons of supernatural ranked

I'm gonna go from least favourite to most favourite. Spoilers for all seasons ahead. 12; S7. The whole leviathan plot line was fairly weak in my opinion and the season itself was pretty forgettable. It's the only season I haven't rewatched in it's entirety. In my opinion the best part of this season was our introduction to the amazing Charlie. Also this is the season where we lost Bobby so... I shouldn't have to elaborate on that too much. 11; S12. I know I probably shouldn't include this season because it isn't over and I don't know how it will end so I can't really judge it but... I'm going to anyways. I'm just flat out not enjoying this season and instead of staying up all hours just to watch new episodes live, I find myself not watching episodes for days or even until the next episode is out. The excitement is gone for me and I really hope this season turns around and pulls me in again. 10; S10. This season (which I can barely remember, I really need to rewatch it) annoyed me for a couple reasons. First off, the writers really wasted Demon!Dean. They should've spent way more than 3 measly episodes exploring this character instead of ending it abruptly for a musical episode. Another reason it annoyed me was the season finale. I couldn't believe they would actually kill off Death. It was such a stupid move. I still can't wrap my head around it. 9; S11. This season really didn't do it for me at all. I didn't really like the Darkness not because she was a bad character (well she wasn't amazing but she wasn't awful either) but because it seemed like the writers were just trying to create the Biggest Big Bad. Confirming Chuck as God was nice but it was just telling us what we all pretty much worked out on our own. The finale, which I live posted about, really pissed me off. Months of showing us how much Amara hated God were wasted when they solved their issues after five minutes of speaking. I won't even speak about Mary's resurrection because then I'll just get mad and this section is already long enough. 8; S8. There was so much going on in this season! I didn't want to put this as low as I did but there were much better seasons than this. That said, this wasn't a bad season at all. It saw many amazing characters (coughAbaddoncough) I loved the finale to this season, it has become one of my favourites and the scene between Sam and Dean in that church where Sam tells Dean he doesn't care if he dies? Breaks my heart every single time. So yeah it's a shame this had to be at number 8 but there's simply better seasons than this. 7; S6. Let me start by saying the reason this comes before S8 is because I fucking adore Soulless!Sam. Like, he's my favourite Sam second only to normal Sam. So that's a big contributor as to why I like this season. I really liked how Dean got a taste of an apple pie life and his relationship with Ben was really adorable. This season also saw the creation of my (and many others) favourite episode, The French Mistake. For me, Samuel really brought this season down and I wasn't Castiel's biggest fan either but of course I have forgiven him. Can't say much for Samuel though. 6; S9. This was one hell of a season, such an emotional rollercoaster. I was actually pretty fond of Gadreel and thought he was a decent character. Metateon infuriates me, even to this day but not in a way that would make me not want to watch episodes he's in. He's a good villain to say the least. Man, that season finale. It really fucked me up, especially that last shot. I joined the fandom about a month after that episode aired because I heard so much about the emotional trauma of that final episode. 5; S3. This season was amazing! It pains me to put it at number 5 but like S8 there's just better seasons. Anywho, watching Sam being lead astray by Ruby was both very frustrating to watch and also fun. Ruby is a character I love to hate, particularly the original Ruby seen in this season. Deans inevitable descent to hell was devastating, especially that finale. God, seeing Sam clutching Dean's mutilated body while sobbing was heart wrenching. It's a shame it only has 16 episodes. 4; S2. Oh man, oh man S2. I love this season more than words can express. I love love love the whole 'psychic powers' storyline and was definitely satisfied by how it played out. That two part finale fucked me up so badly. I can hardly bear to rewatch either of them because it hurts so good. This could easily be in my top 3 favourite seasons if the next season wasn't as amazing as it is. 3; S4. One word: Castiel. One of my favourite characters of all time is introduced in what I consider to be one of the most badass introductions to a character ever. He is such a prick when we first meet him and I love it. I don't think I have one bad thing to say about this season. The finale was brilliant, Ruby's ulterior motives were finally revealed and it felt so good to watch her being ganked. I desperately need to rewatch this season. 2; S5. Wowowow! I don't even know what to say other than I fucking love this season. Lucifer might be my favourite villain of all time so beautifully played by Mark Pellegrini and occasionally Jared Padalecki. The writers really nailed it with this season and so did our boys Jensen and Jared and Misha, with some of their best scenes being in this season imo, especially Jared in the season finals. I am endlessly impressed by this season. 1; S1. This season will always be my favourite no matter what new seasons they come out with for one reason. It was the season that hooked me and got me emotionally invested in the boys lives. I'm so eternally grateful I started watching this show and I know if the pilot wasn't as stellar as it is, I probably wouldn't have continued to watch. I love rewatching this season just to see the fresh faced, squeaky voiced Sam and Dean overcome the monster of the week, a format I truly miss. Not only that but S1 just looks completely different from recent seasons. Everything seems darker and grittier and I love it. So that's it. I didn't mean to waffle as much as I did but hey, shit happens. Feel free to give me your thoughts my dudes
