I think about her all the time. Sharona Alperin — Sha-ro-na. The poster girl for power pop, just a high school student immortalized in a mononym, in feverishly stuttered declarations of possession. Our Midwestern mensch is overwhelmed by fits of lust. He's begging her, pleading with her, and if you know men you know that when they debase themselves like this it's no longer asking nicely. Did she know? Well, she was just seventeen (if you know what I mean):

The secret Dungeon Meshi sauce that's getting people to eat better is that it's so non-judgmental. They don't even talk about "health" that much besides the importance of a balanced diet. advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love
