B: That's a. Good question??? Actually, the opening of Taste Your Beating Heart was very cathartic, but also I can't actually read it anymore since I wrote it -tw car crash/near death experience. A lot of mutual pining and homoerotic tension draws from my personal experience as a demisexual dumbass.

C: Characters I identify with? That's tough for me, because given enough time and pondering, I can fit myself pretty well into most characters' mindsets. Still, I vibe with Shun from Saint Seiya over the whole devotion to family idea, and with Caranthir from the Silmarillion because I too have a bit of an inferiority complex over my sibling, no matter how much I love her- and sometimes I really just want to be left alone with my books and cats.

F: I'm assuming other folks' fics here. So: Baba by Crownofpins is the most beautiful Castlevania hurt/comfort fic I have possibly ever read in my entire life. It's full of polyamorous misunderstandings, stunningly crafted gothic horror, folklore out the wazoo, cathartic resolution of past trauma, and three dumbasses just trying to hold eaxh other together. I've read it like nine times at this point and it never ceases to literally make me cry real tears at key points.

K: Hhhhh welp. It's probably the one I'm highly doubtful I'll ever actually write. A companion piece to Taste Your Beating Heart that tells the story of Luné, Minos, Shion, and Dohko in Dohko's first life. It would be extremely angst and full of manipulation, gaslighting, murder, torture, dubious sexual consent... yeah I don't know if I'll ever have the right frame of mind to actually write it.

M: I do really want to expand on a flashfic I did called Holy Water, which involved a Lost Canvas Castlevania fusion! Additionally all my Age of Myth Saint Seiya mythos, and my ongoing Shin Megami Tensei: Persona mythos starting with my trans!p4 protag fic and stretching out through p5, including the characters from all 6 main games.

R: Hhhh hard to answer, because I honestly feel like everyone folds aspects of everything that read into their own writing! I really try to incorporate Diana Wynne Jones's tongue in cheek humor into my stuff, especially the more serious stuff because I feel moments of levity are important. Other authors I really admire include Tamora Pierce, Connie Willis, JRRTolkien, Terry Pratchett, and Patricia C Wrede.

T: Hate Hanahaki Disease, not a fan of the way most A/B/O is handled. I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones that immediately popped into my head.

U: Hmm, I've written a lot of stuff, that's the problem here. I think I might like trying to write Hakurei/Avenir from Lost Canvas, I haven't had a chance to yet. Or Ilias/Lugonis/Ilias's semi-canon nameless faceless mother of his child. I have an OC for her :)

V: Ilias! Is love to see more Ilias fic. He's so wise and so fuckin dumb simultaneously. Also my cranky elf boy Caranthir deserves all the love.

Z: Ooh, this is a tough one. I gotta be in a very specific mood to read character death. I've written the fallout of canonical character death before, but not the death itself, I think. A character whose death I can't tolerate? I can't actually think of one, most of my favorite characters die in their canonical body of work whoops. That's what fix it fics are for, amirite?
