BONUS WONDERFUL!!!: Oh, I’m not going to leave it there. Here are three of some of my favorite sets in all EVO history. First off, we have Justin Wong vs. Filipino Champ in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom in 2014. The returning king of the previous installment pushed to his limit when facing one of the greatest heels in the FGC.

Next, we have Bonchan vs. Alex Valle at Ultra Street Fighter IV in 2015. The prodigal new guard being pitted against the legendary old guard and finding there’s still more yet to learn.

Finally, we have Lil Majin vs. JDCR at Tekken 7 in 2018. The last American rep standing in Top 8 goes toe to toe with one of the gods of the game. Gosh, I love fighting games.
This week’s episode of Triple K.O. was great, as per usual. The topic was Fighting Game Design, and this episode featured special guest Adam Heart.
If you don’t know Adam Heart, he’s one of the minds behind Divekick and the new age Killer Instinct after season 2. Heart’s current project is Rumbleverse, a fighting/wrestling game inspired 40 player battle royale with a focus on platforming.
Max, Justin, Matt, and Adam all provide insights into the design process that goes into making fighting games and how suddenly these ideas can become real.
In case you didn't know, Maximilian Dood, Matt McMuscles and Justin Wong have joined forces and created a weekly podcast about fighting games called Triple K. O. !

They're really fun to listen to and talk about different games and fg topics each weak.
The 10-episode series follows two strangers: Danny Cho, a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, and Amy Lau, a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. These two very different people hail from polar-opposite worlds, but their worlds collide almost literally during a road rage incident. And, as both become hellbent on revenge, they find themselves embarking upon an all-consuming feud that threatens to upend their lives forever.
