🐚. Meglio gli anime/manga di ieri o di oggi?

Domanda difficile, perché in primis ci sono bellissimi anime/manga di entrambi i tempi per grafica, trama, definizione, sfondi, disegni, personaggi o doppiaggio.

Ci sono diversi mangaka capaci, che realizzano tavole straordinarie, anche da collezione.

Quello che non approvo, anche se non disdegno in toto la qualità del disegno, è quando decidono di rifare un anime del passato andando a ridisegnare e modificare in parte la trama, perché se è concluso, trovo che talvolta stravolgerlo o voler per forza "allungare" il brodo vada ad intaccare il lavoro precedente, non in tutti i casi, ma in alcuni sì e mi spiace perché chi non conosce il "prequel" può ritrovarsi con una storia diversa.

Già comunque, per quello che ne so, anime e manga stanno subendo un calo in Giappone con livelli di share che sono minori rispetto a quelli italiani o americani ad esempio.

A volte idee originali e diverse rispetto a quelle del passato scarseggiano, però ci sono anche le eccezioni, vedesi Demon Slayer oppure Kaguya Sama:love is war che si concentra sul lato psicologico dell'innamoramento.

C'è anche da dire che la trasposizione dei manga in anime avviene nel 99% dei casi per i manga di maggiore successo rispetto a quelli più di nicchia.

In definitiva, forse opto leggermente per quelli "classici", ma dipende anche dal genere/tipologia di anime o manga.

Oshi No Ko: Can lies become truths??

Oshi No Ko is a well known masterpiece from the same author as Kaguya Sama:Love is War

This post will dive into the content of the prologue (anime series) so SPOILERS AHEAD YA

With the amazing animation, a glimpse into the realities in the entertainment industry of idols and acting, with headbopping OP by Yoasobi, it was an emotional rollercoaster when watching Oshi No Ko(prologue) anime.

When I ended off the anime episode, I was in TEARS. What is 'love' in this specific episode?

Ai Hoshino could not love and therefore thought that she cannot be loved. It was at that point in time that Mr Ichigo invited her to become an idol that she was having second thoughts about this humane emotion that she lacks. She lies as she becomes an idol, telling people that she loves them even though she doesn't.

All of these were just a facade to keep Ai and her group popular and well-liked among fans.

Until Aquamarine and Ruby Hoshino came into the picture(STILL CAN'T GET OVER THE FACT ABOUT HOW CUTE THEY ARE) and literally dominated the whole episode.

Ai loved them as they were her only family still alive. At that point I was wondering whether Ai would not not be able to love them because she is already lying in her career that she can love but she actually can't. The saddest way to show her one and only love to her two little treasures was to tell them that she really loved them before dying( HAD ME CRYING WHY). She also told them her aspirations for them and the flashbacks were so wholesome. It was at that moment that I actually felt Ai's real love.

This transition from fake love to fans to real love to her children was the most beautiful part of it and was also the saddest.

Ai drew a grey line for herself when it comes to loving. So can lies become truths? In Ai's case and in my opinion, no. Instead, she blurred the line between real and fake because she was not able to differentiate and express her love. This made loving and understanding love even more difficult for Ai as she struggles to learn to love and hopefully have someone reciprocate that real love.

Chapter 238: This chapter, is just aka basically proving once again, why he is my favorite writer when it comes to romance. He couldve easily made it seem that ishigami had moved on during that little break we got from ishimiko centric chapters. But he didn't. As he knew that it would have felt rushed and abrubtly done just to make the ishimiko ship happen. Even though ishigami and tsubame's relationship was just used as a catalyst to help miko realize her feelings, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't real for ishigami or the people in the fandom who shipped both of them.

So Aka making ishigami still have a soft spot for tsubame, is not only respectful to those readers but also makes ishigami's character feel so much real rather than a one dimensional 2d character.

As much it's true that people need long periods of time to move on, its also very plausible that they could meet someone new and be on the verge of falling in love again before they have completely moved on from their previous relationship. And in that case, the guilt and the fear to take a step towards something new comes on pretty heavily. Aka applying these little and significant emotions into his story and his characters is just what makes me appreciate him more and more everyday.

So shall we consider this as a mini realization of feelings+ mini confession? Just look at ishigami's little blush. *dies from asphyxiation*

So anyway, as this post was literally me gushing over aka's writing skills when it comes to romance. Let me end it in a similar pattern. In kaguya sama, especially with ishimiko, it just deals with high school love stories, there are no external plot lines like an inevitable apocalypse/ time traveling/ curses/ or anything heavy like that. It's just a simple story that showcases teenagers falling in love. From outside, that sounds quite simple and unoriginal. But kaguya sama's charm lies in the fact that it may be a simple love story but it's characters are multifaceted and complex. Aka puts so much into his characters and thereby effectively brings out the early awkwardness and restlessness of being a teenager. The characters feel so real that even such a simple plotline is brought to life.

I am just rambling today. Anyway great ishimiko chapter. We won today/ basically on Thursday y'all.

Kaguya-sama:Love War has been renewed for Season 2 and that's the best news I've recieved all week. The whole of Haikyuu and Kimetsu no Yaiba fandom needs to get in on this shit. It's the only thing keeping me sane through Furudate and Goutoge's writing. Even if you're happy please watch this you'll experience new things like mouth cramps from laughing too much

Have you seen/read Kaguya-sama:Love is War anime/manga?

I've only seen the first season of the anime because a few friends of mine were obsessed with it and I wanted to see what all the fuss is about.

It's okay, the comedy is alright for me, though I don't plan to watch season 2 and 3. Not a big fan of the romance genre, but I have exceptions like Ghibli's romance in From Up on Poppy Hill, When The Wind Rises, and Howl's Moving Castle, and one old anime from the 90's: Ranma ½

Let’s see. Most likely I’m gonna gear up for more lighthearted animes such as Kaguya-sama:Love is War which is getting a season 3! I also will be watching SpyxFamily.

As for binge watching though, I’m gonna try giving Bungo Stray Dogs another chance like I did with Attack on Titan. If not that, then maybe even Erased or JoJo. (JoJo is just been SO hard for me to get into though :/ maybe because I’m still on the first season)
