[Name] was standing behind the chain-link fence, wide-eyed and immersed in the E-class VS A-class baseball game exhibition.

"You can't seriously be interested in this— since when are you a sports fan?" Kaho scoffed.

"Since today?" Truthfully, [Name] wasn't all that interested in the game, her eyes were set on Karma.

"Oh I get it, you've got a thing for one of the players!"

"What? No! Where'd you get that from?!"

"Shindo right? Don't worry, I won't tell!" Kaho noted with a breathy laugh.

[Name] nodded fervently. It was better for Kaho to believe [Name] liked Shindo rather than word get out that she was dating Karma.

It was Karma's idea to keep everything on the down low, that way people wouldn't give her a hard time for being with him.

"Batter number eight, left fielder, Akabane." The commentator on the speaker brought her attention back to the field.

Karma stayed in place, all eyes were on him.

"Hang on, never pegged you as the type to play dirty, sir. If the rules haven't changed this little gambit ain't legal, they're bogarting the infield umpire should have called 'em on it by now."

His voice grew in confidence by the second, "Oh come on, anyone else smell a rat or is it just me?"

Karma turned to face the fence where most of the main campus was spectating from.

"Oh never mind, you guys are morons! Baseballs like a foreign language to ya!"

[Names] peers collectively grew angry, yelling insults back at him. Karma took it all in stride, turning back with a smile, happy to have elicited a response.

No one expected E class to play this well, even Shindo looked defeated, Kunugigaokas star player was struggling to get a hit against the lowest ranked class.

"Preed, do you mind getting us something to drink?" Kaho half-heartedly requested.

"Yeah I've got you, I'll be back!" He scurried off instantly, anything Kaho asked from him went.

"Kaho… don't you think this is a little much?" [Name] asked.

"It's not like they'll find out. Guys are such idiots."

Kaho dated a lot but not out of love, she got a kick out of toying with people, or maybe she wanted to feel loved, [Name] couldn't know for sure, she was only able to make assumptions based on what she saw on the exterior since Kaho wasn't the type to speak vulnerably.

"You're with three guys this time, and Preed is nice, I feel bad." [Name] said disapprovingly, she kept her tone hushed and careful no one was listening in.

"He'll live… Are you with me or against me?"

"Okay, Okay sorry."

If Kaho wasn't with Preed, she was with Seo or Yozo. [Name] couldn't go a day without third wheeling, ever since Karma was moved down to end class she hadn't had anyone else to hang out with.

Who knew baseball could be so intense? At some point Karma dodged a bat to the face by the millisecond, eventually, the game ended, the speakers blasted for the final announcement.

"The game is over, I can't even— this is insane… the winner is, I never thought I'd say this but the winner is E-class…!"

The students from the main campus complained about the loss as they left, the only people cheering were in end class themselves.

"Preed still isn't back, I'll go look for him, see you around [Name]." Kaho sighed on her way out.

[Name] pulled her phone out and sent Karma a message.

"What are you smiling about Karma?" Rio grinned while trying to get a peek at his phone from behind his shoulder, unfortunately for her, he could sense her creeping up on him before she got the chance.

"I'm getting a call, I'll meet back with everyone in a few!"

Once he was out of earshot Rio turned to Hinano "What's he lying for? I wasn't able to read his screen but I know he wasn't getting a call."

"That's suspicious… What if he's hiding a girl!" Says Hinano "Or a body!" Fuwa chimes in

"Out of those two outcomes the body seems more plausible…" Rio laughs, she tilts her head as if she's got a brilliant idea, "Hey Ritsu, you should listen in on what he's doing through his phone!"

"I shouldn't eavesdrop… I told everyone I wouldn't do anything without full consent."

Unfortunately for Ritsu, Rio's knack for sweet-talking has always been unmatched, "Exactly! As his friends we have to look out for him, we can't do that if he's sneaking around all the time, doing this would make you such a caring friend!"

"I'd be caring…? I guess that makes sense, okay I'll do it for friendship!" Ritsu, who’s new to all sorts of human emotions and expressions, naively gathers up her resolve. Now she’s just as involved as the rest of the group.

Karma put his batting helmet on [Name's] head "Sorry you had to watch us destroy your class on the field." He bragged, not anything new.

"I was rooting for you, keeping my poker face was hard!"

"Your eyes were shaped like hearts and you were practically foaming at the mouth, your poker face could use some work."

"I was not! Anyway, how are things in E class? You look pretty close with everyone." [Name] turned the topic around.

"Is that jealousy I hear? Cute, but don't worry [Name] I still like you best."

"I'm not jealous! Just a little worried, the way Mr. Ono decided to send you to end class was harsh."

"I'm good I promise, I like it better in 3E, The only thing I miss about the main campus is you." He flicked her forehead. [Name] handed the helmet back to him, playfully shoving it into his chest.

"I know I complain about how annoying you are every day but, I wish Mr. Ono sent me to End class with you."

Karma smiled and shook his head no, "Don't go getting crazy ideas, tell you what, i'll take you out to eat as a consolation prize!"

"It's not a consolation prize if I wanted you to win!"

"Right, so what I'm hearing is, you're paying?"

"I take it back! I'm so upset you won…please pay for us!"

"No." You tried your best to make your tone as cold as possible, but that was proving to be impossibly difficult when looking into the puppy dog eyes of the boy in front of you.

"Liar" Pavitr cocked his head to the side slightly, giving you a lopsided grin, his arms folded over his chest. He looked like he was on the verge of laughter, but he always looked like that, being the little ray of sunshine he was. You'd never see him with a frown on his face, which made your RBF even more noticeable when the two of you were together. "Why are you mad?"

"I'm not mad!" You replied, putting your hand up to his face and looking to the side. You bit the inside of your cheek to keep yourself from laughing at his expression. He looked like a sad puppy. It was hard not to turn off your cold demeanor when you saw him like that, but then of course you had your reasons to be mad at him.

"Aww, don't be like that meri jaan" he teased, stepping out of the way of your hand and grinning that shit-eating grin. Nothing could ever falter his can-do attitude, not even your blatant refusal to tell him what was wrong.

"Arre, don't call me that!" You said, looking back at him with a scowl, putting your hands on your hips. You looked down for a second, hesitant to tell him your reasons. You didn't want to get mad at him, but that was proving difficult. "Fine! I am mad." You said angrily.

"Okay...why are you mad?"

"Why do you think I'm mad??"

He shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets and smiling that golden-boy smile at you again. Infuriating. You scoffed, feeling your muscles tightening and your face heating up as you tried to keep yourself from blowing up at him.

"Just tell me why you're mad!" he said, his voice slightly whiny as he looked at you, his hands on his hips. "What'd I do?"

You groaned, smacking your forehead and glaring at him from behind your palm. "How can you not know?"

He smiled again, watching you, his eyes crinkling slightly. He's not even sorry. You thought to yourself, getting more and more annoyed by the second. "Just tell me what I did" He said, his tone a little softer this time.

You stumbled over your words for a moment, unable to get them out properly. A groan escaped your lips before you threw your hands up and started spewing the first sentences that came to your mind.

"jb aap gausse men hote hain to aap sundr dikhte hain (You look pretty when you're angry)" He said, waggling his eyebrows at you. You scoffed, folding your arms over your chest again, but you couldn't help but smile slightly at this confession.

"Come on meri jaan...I'm sorry." You bit the inside of your cheek once again, looking up at him with a glare. You blinked, then sighed and chuckled, a soft exhale leaving your lips. His expression lit up as he watched you, giant smile returning. "...Does this mean you forgive me?" He asked excitedly, leaning in toward you slightly.

"Arre, back up." You said with an eye roll, leaning backwards, standing on the heels of your feet. "But I forgive you." You muttered, unable to suppress your slight smile. He gave you a wink and flashed that same golden smile.

"I knew you would"

I happened to take a look at Kaho's profile (for fic writing purposes), and I got to say I'm somewhat pissed off now. She's the girl Maehara was dating, remember, who was also Seo's girlfriend. Here's what fandom wiki has to say of her personality:

Let's think about this a bit. Maehara and Kaho had been dating already before he fell to the E class. That means they'd (supposedly) been together for half a year or so. And yet Nagisa says of him that he's popular with girls and the one he's with changes constantly. Also, remember how Asano had that plan to make 3E reveal their secrets if the A class wins the bet? Maehara was supposed to answer the question "how many times have you cheated", and the answer shown was 5.

Kaho then... I've no idea how or why she ended up with Seo, but I don't remember seeing a single scene of her with him where she would have been happy and relaxed. She's clearly terrified of her boyfriend. That relationship has so many red flags it's not even funny... Meanwhile, she does seem genuinely happy with Maehara.

Anyway. So. One way or another she's ended up with two boyfriends. I'm not making any excuses about that. I just hate the way both Matsui and the fandom treat her for this.

The same old story. A guy can run around cheating and have a different girl every week and everyone just laughs it off and loves him still, but heaven help if a girl cheats once. She immediately has unfaithful and two-timing as her main personality trait.

2022.09.29 Endless SHOCK @ Hakataza Theater in Fukuoka

Posting on my Tumblr so I can delete the thread on my Twitter and it looks better here than a series of 10+ tweets haha. I'm sad I didn't hit for SHOCK 2023 so time to relive seeing it last year. I got lucky and decided to just YOLO by applying for the self guided tour visa before borders opened back up officially like two weeks later lmao. I HAD TO GO since I'm a KinKi and Kisumai fan!

Koichi Zachou is really an oujisama 😍 Loved red hair Mitsu as rival. Wish I could have seen more shows because there's so much happening in all the scenes. Glad I got close seats in the 2nd floor especially to see Koichi's flying scenes in the second act 😭

I was so focused on Koichi at the beginning and I'm so used to Kochan's stage voice so when Mitsu first spoke I was like who omg it's HIROMITSU

I was very impressed with Mitsu's stage acting and singing just like many fans reported! His singing is very clear & smooth 💯

Matsuzaki & HIROMITSU are too cute as buddies. Zaki telling Mitsu to put his arms around Rika at the rooftop🙈 A few scenes I just laughed at their buddy bro dynamic.

Mitsu in the ❤️ patterned suit is cute 🥰 when he comes in with the bouquet & dances with Rika during It's a Wonderful Day. Man got guts to wear that heart patterned suit. Haha he's so charai just like how he is as idol... watch Kisumai Busaiku! 🤣

I think HIROMITSU is the happy go lucky charai rival that is more on KOICHI's level. He doesn't seem to get angry and is more sly and calculated.

I laughed at the Everybody Go lines 😂 I love the little references/adlibs. For my show since it was the day of Travis Japan's "world debut" announcement. After the rooftop scene they are crossing the stage~

Mitsu on roller skates: Ehh Tora Tora..! 🐯🐯

Overall HIROMITSU gets along with everyone and have fun in the Company.

The solo for the rival, MOVE ON is such a good fitting song. I felt Shori had the cool youngster brash charisma in the performance. So it's nice to see how Mitsu's version has a different aura that was his own... he totally owned the stage. Dancing & charisma. 💯💯

I need to review the previous rivals and watch more closely but I can definitely see how others say Mitsu's version is different. I felt his version was more calm, diligent, and mature and more of KOICHI's equal. He didn't crumble emotionally and descend into darkness/violence or acted brashly right away...

It was a slowburn but when he finds out, KOICHI is really dead... After the Shakespearean act, HIROMITSU is lying on the floor distraught. The piano melody for Don't Look Back 〜戻れない日々 plays (love this song composed by Koichi! could we get a new OST version with Shori and Mitsu as vocals *biased*). This part always gets me with the rival, KOICHI, and the owner singing. here is where I first started to get sobby/cry a bit. I also cried at the end of Yori no Umi, then and there's HIROMITSU and the cast... The flashbacks of memories with KOICHI is shown...

Shimada Kaho who Koichi worked with in Knights' Tale played the Owner for the first time. She's a lovely lady and has such a elegant presence 😍 she has a softer speaking voice than Maeda Bibari-san but a powerful beautiful singing voice.

As always the second act is just amazing with the Japanese dance and flying scenes.

And the end is just 😭😭😭

Doesn't HIROMITSU look so intense!

Even knowing the general story with the acts and various performances... I understand why people still want to see it every year even tho the general story is the same but how the script changes with the different rival and how it evolves... There's a different atmosphere with each new rival/cast. For me, seeing the cast ensemble makes it interesting to watch with the chairman leading. I really hope to see Endless SHOCK again one day.

Thank you so much again! I love your chatty responses. It actually articulates so much of what I am thinking. And yes, by "arrogance", I definitely meant 'taking on the burden of everything by myself' thing rather than the former but your exposition is certainly very illuminating. Also, I was wondering if people feel uncomfortable with Akiho and Kaito age gap. I surprisingly don't and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Kaito's love for Akiho, despite being romantic, is not as yet sexual. I am not sure if I am conveying this in the right manner. I was reading the manga and I was creeped out by the Rika Terada shipping in it but surprisingly was alright with Kaho-Eriol ship because I see the latter as "mental" peers. I am not sure whether I am able to articulate my thoughts right, but what I am trying to say is that while I understand were the hue and cry against the age gap comes from, somehow Yuna and Akiho's age gap does not bother me. On the topic of age gap relations, I was also wondering about Sakura's late Amamiya great-grandmother. Back as a kid, I always thought it was a bit strange that Masaki was her great-grandfather instead of just a grandfather (Nadeshiko's dad) who could have even more easily disapproved of Nadeshiko's union with Fujitaka. It leads to wonder about Nadeshiko's own family tree. Also, I didn't understand the England connection with her and I believe that had a lot to do with discrepancies with the English translation. Did Nadeshiko grow up in England? Or just visited England? What exactly is Sakura's late great grandmother's (and I believe her birth family's) connection with England? Do you think that the great-grandmother was a Reed? What happened to Sakura's maternal grandparents? By extension, same with Tomoyo's, considering the Amamiya cousins' parents where siblings who retained their Amamiya family name? Do you think that the potentially Reed great-grandmother was the source of magic in the Amamiya family's lineage? Do you think Tomoyo is subconsciously sensitive to magic or some latent psychic powers due to the potentialy Reed great-grandmother? After all, she made that Sakura doll with the Final Judgement clothes, she also made the right costumes for the right cards or incidences, she also could feel something was off with the play (unlike Naoko?) and could also feel something was off with rewritten world. I am so sorry but I really went down a rabbit hole while reading the manga. I would love to hear your thoughts!

Ohohoh, the matter of the age gap between Kaito and Akiho........(/laughs but actually wants to cry) As you probably have guessed, it's a difficult matter for the fandom, it's always been frowned upon ever since day one and even now that it's becoming more apparent that their feelings are mutual (despite many still hope for them not to be) and now that they went to such lengths for eachother, there's still discontent towards them (I have to say that the supporters have increased too, thankfully for me). (continues under the cut)

The fact is, we don't really know Kaito's age, but from some calculations I've made he really might be the same age as Touya and Yukito or even one year younger. What we know for sure is that he cannot have an age gap bigger than 10/11 years with Akiho, judging from what Lilie said in chapter 72. I want to specify this because in these 7 years of serialization I've seen lots of nonsense in fandom spaces (when I still checked them), like "he must be close to his thirties because you can only be a legal guardian to someone if you're older than 25", some completely made up bullsh*t because 1) who said CLAMP have to abide to those rules in their manga, a freaking 10 year old was living all on his own in the OG series, plus we got MAGIC here; 2) Whoever said he's her legal guardian?? He's her butler, her butler and nothing more. In fact, the events depicted at Parents Day (chapter 40-onwards) made clear that Kaito is not considered Akiho's legal guardian, not by Akiho herself but not even by her school (they were looking for her to get one of her relatives to participate, Kaito only offered himself at the very end because he didn't want to see her sad and because he wanted to check her future real parental figure). For this reason, Kaito is often seen in the fandom as some improbable "parental/brother figure" to Akiho, because his (apparent) detached behavior, his apparent "non-response" to Akiho's romantic attempts and his being older than her gets interpreted in that way, ignoring the fact that the guy is so immature that it feels really inappropriate to stick a label of that kind on him (the fact that he's immature is not my delusion, he's been called like that multiple times by CLAMP in their Twitter Spaces). I get it, in the beginning Kaito really looked way older than what he's looking now. At some point me and a friend found out that in volume 3 CLAMP removed the adam's apple that was drawn on him on his first appearance in chapter 11 while it was serializing on Nakayoshi...we wondered for years what was that for, and it's apparent now with the constant and gradual "rejuvenation" process he underwent throughout the story that "someone" clearly didn't specify or didn't communicate Kaito's age properly to her colleague, and they had to correct that "in progress". The fact he's never been drawn with that adam's apple ever again indicates that he's not meant to be considered a full grown adult in his 20s, for example. Then, another culprit is certainly the ENG translation, which keeps making other characters refer to him as a "man" when no one in this manga ever called him like that. They call him "butler", or "attendant", "magician", he's even called "kid" by Momo and Lilie. But never specifically "man".

I've expressed my thoughts on this matter three years ago in response to an ask and now with (much more) updated information I can confirm even further what I said back then: I'm not usually one into age gap ships (despite it's still a popular trope in Japan and not only), but this one really got me by the throat because of the intensity of their story and the emotional development that touches my heartstrings in a very deep way. Probably due to their shared background, I feel an intense wish to see them happy, see them together and comforting eachother because when I think about them I don't see their age, and honestly with how immature Kaito is, I don't even feel the "age gap". I completely agree with you that there isn't absolutely any sexual connotation to the feelings these two are having for eachother at the moment, but honestly it's like that with all the ships in CCS. For a person on the asexual spectrum like me, CCS is like a breath of fresh air and a story I can really resonate with. It's true that its protagonists are very young, maybe too young to feel that kind of attraction, but the same treatment is given to the more mature characters as well, so you really feel that that is the "protected environment" where CLAMP want these characters to interact. Moreover, judging from the "vibe" he's giving, I have the headcanon that Kaito might actually be asexual or demisexual. I totally understand what you mean when you say that Kaho and Eriol are mental peers, in fact it's really true due to Eriol's circumstances, and they're not together because of their bodies but because of their soul, heart and mind. That is also what makes me support Kaito and Akiho romantically, it's because they're soulmates and as such, they recognize eachother no matter the time, space or events in between, and react accordingly. Let's also remember that when Kaito decided to accompany Akiho in her travel to collect books, and therefore starting his plan to save her, he was a kid himself. You can see it in the latest flashback of ch. 70. We don't know exactly what kind of emotion "unlocked" his stunted will to interact and do something for someone else, but certainly he was already feeling some kind of "connection" to her, which became only deeper along the years and eventually brought him to extend his plan from "I need to remove the artifact from her" to "I want to give her happiness" too.

Despite that, there are objections like "okay, even if you take out the sexual element from it, it's still wrong because of the power unbalance" and I swear to god, I can't feel that either, from them. There isn't any unbalance because first of all, he's working for her, he's not in a position of power over her (his being a magician does not factor in this because he used power to make her happy, not to dominate her), she's his freaking boss and he does whatever she asks him to. Moreover, when it's time for Akiho to call him out on his bullshit, she's absolutely not afraid to do so, like in chapter 52 and I think chapter 78 was the epitome of that. That shows that he isn't having ""power"" over her, he's not even manipulating her despite wanting her to not notice anything to not disrupt her peace of mind. She's not codependent on him, she's got her own life with her friends at school. She doesn't even see a parental, guiding figure in him, that's not what she's looking for in him and not what made her attracted to him: even when she was placed in a familiar environment where she got a father and even a brother, she still looked for him. Her heart, her very soul, still felt a huge void that hurt her everyday. We wouldn't see her going red as a tomato and be so assertive with him, if she looked at him as one of those figures. That's why I feel icked when some fans reduce their relationship to only that. I wouldn't be able to ship them if I detected those vibes. I honestly don't see anything toxic between them and I know that if CLAMP will confirm that Kaito reciprocates her, it wouldn't change much from what we have already seen till now, especially cause they're not SyaoSaku, they have their own story, their own couple dynamic, their own scars to heal from, and so also their own timing to become a full-fledged couple, in that sense. For now he would just continue to express his love through food and the care he's been taking of her till now. Especially cause he would need to learn along the way how this "strange thing" works. That's why I say that they would "grow up together". *draws a deep breath*

.....Oh my god, did I really write all of that? 😂 You just need to mention those two and it's like you're opening the dam 😂😂😂 It might also be that I'm a little bit in abstinence of long talks about those two and their story.....Well. I took it as an opportunity to state once again my view about those two characters and their romantic involvement.

Now, onto the other part of the ask...

There's a lot of speculation that can be done about Nadeshiko's family, but there is a canon material that helps us understanding at least a little bit more than what was said in the manga/anime, that's the first Drama CD of the OG series, "Sakura and her mother's organ", where Sakura needs to write about her mother for an assignment at school and Fujitaka talks a little about her past. Apparently, Nadeshiko worked as a model when she was very little, she was an elementary schooler and it seems like she was convinced to get into that industry because an acquaintance of her father and grandfather (Masaki) asked them so. Nadeshiko didn't care for that experience, though, because as Fujitaka says "it's a very complicated environment", and she dropped it by the time she went to middle school.

In that drama CD was already introduced the fact that Nadeshiko had a mysterious power, and more specifically, was able to know future events in advance: for example she already knew thanks to her "sixth sense" that she would have two children, a boy and a girl. For this reason, she was the one to beat Fujitaka to the punch when it came to propose for marriage. Yes, it was Nadeshiko the one who asked Fujitaka to get married! And in the same way she also seemed particularly eager to have children soon, I can't shake off this idea that she probably already knew or could feel that she didn't have much time left to live....... And that's also why she decided to take on again the modeling job because she felt that was something she could easily do towards the goal of acquiring a nice house in "a city full of greenery", thanks to Clear Card now we also know that Nadeshiko wasn't looking for "any house", but a specifically well positioned and special house with a barrier that would protect the ones who would become her family in the future.

From what's depicted in this Drama CD, I get the idea that Nadeshiko's family of origin was very wealthy and they probably loved her, but she didn't feel understood in that kind of environment. Like, money, this modeling job based on looks, it was very far from what Nadeshiko was searching for in life. And that's probably why she recognized her soulmate in Fujitaka, who's still got this aura of "naivety" and is extremely kind to this day, and probably why she sought after her happiness with him, eventually causing a rupture with her family of origin.

We don't know really anything about Nadeshiko's grandmother, and there isn't really any tie (that we know of, coming to chapter 78) to England in that sense: Nadeshiko was able to meet Lilie because she went there with her grandparents in occasion of one of their travels abroad. Nadeshiko and Lilie didn't spend long time together, but they bonded greatly over such short period of time. Yeah, I can see how this part might have been confusing in the ENG translation.

Actually, in relation to the "Reed" clan, I've had for the longest time the theory that the Squids are actually the Reed clan 😂😂 so the "Reed in disguise" would be our Akiho! I know for a fact that a huge translation mistake in the ENG version makes one of the Squids say "we have the same blood of Clow Reed", hence suggesting this theory as true, but sadly I have to confirm that we actually haven't had any kind of statement in that sense and that was just a translation mistake!

For Tomoyo's great capabilities, I think she's just amazing as she is!! Her intuition, after all, spans over many situations, not only when it comes to Sakura but about other people too! In one of the Clear Card chapters it was suggested that even Naoko involuntarily ended up writing a scenario for the play that was very fitting with the current situation, and that's something that people who are particularly perceptive are capable to do!

Chapter 2 Miyuu in my dreams

 I was waving my yellow (Miyuu’s color) penlight, and cheerfully singing along to the chorus. I was at the front row, when our eyes met. She was looking at me, deep in the eyes, as if she could see everything that’s inside of me. It felt a little weird, having my soul bare for her to read into it. But she kept looking at me, and I kept looking at her, I felt like we were intertwined in some way. It was seemingly the last song, and they said goodbye and the concert ended. It felt empty to not have her eyes directly into mine. But there was a meet and greet session afterwards, and I obviously had bought tickets to spend with Miyuu. I couldn’t find Kaho anywhere, and it felt like I was rather floating than walking, but I arrived in time for the meet and greet. I was ninth in line and I got quite jealous of the girls and boys that got to meet her first… I wanted Miyuu to be all mine. But I tried to remain calm as I made my way to her when my time came. 

 “It’s been a while since we last saw each other!” Miyuu opened. Did she remember me? I felt glad.

“Y-yes… the last time was last Winter!” I surely remembered it perfectly.

“You must have missed me. I missed you too, you know, Yuu-chan.” I haven’t told my name, was her memory that good? I felt relieved in a way… I was amongst everyone else and she remembered it. 

“I-I missed you more… I look at your pictures every day.” 

“I have the same habit, actually.” I didn’t get what she meant, but Miyuu was kind of playful so I let it slide and laugh alongside her. We held hands, in a very child-like way, but then, Miyuu intertwined her fingers with mine. I think… it was already someone else’s turn, but we kept looking at each other, smiling, and our hands remained sealed. 

“I really, really do miss you.” She said, and her eyes shined brighter than ever. “You don’t know how much I love you.” Isn’t that line supposed to be mine? I’m the one who loves her… how is it the other way around? We were separated by a table that was about the height of my waist, but Miyuu suddenly pulled me closer and… locked our lips together…? I closed my eyes, but I could feel the stares and hear the gasps around us. It didn’t matter, because Miyuu was kissing me just the way I imagined she would. To my surprise, I woke up, with a soft feeling in my lips.

 I turned on my night light and put on my glasses. I looked around my room so I could be sure it was a dream. It felt so real, though… I opened Twitter again, it was around 2AM. Miyuu would sometimes stay up late and post something. That particular day, she was probably fast asleep, while I was about to cry. Have I taken this too far? I think it’s quite normal to dream of someone that plays a huge part of your life, but so intensely like that? And the realization of it not being real… it made my heart beat sadly. I didn’t want to cry, but I felt salty tears reach my lips and soon my vision was fogged. It made no sense… I was pursuing my studies, I had a good job, I lived in a good place and I had friends… I could even easily have a girlfriend if I wanted to… and yet, I realized, sadly and weakly, that I was in love with someone untouchable, unreachable. I could look at her as much as I wanted, but she would never look at me the same way. I could yearn for her my whole life and she would never hear it. I started sobbing like a baby, because I felt like a loser. I felt like I had made a terrible mistake… and yet, Miyuu was all my happiness, all my serotonin… being away from her would be really hard to do.

 I felt hopeless and understood nothing could actually be done, so I just took my glasses off, turned off the light, took a sip of water and went back to sleep. It couldn’t be helped. I just needed to rest and tomorrow I would be happy once again.

 I still felt a little empty, but I decided to think of the dream in a more positive way. Dreaming of your oshi is always a good thing. Well… maybe I came to understand that I do love her romantically, and that will definitely be troublesome… but I decided to be happy, because that’s what Miyuu would want.

 I did my chores very diligently, but it was hard to eat lunch properly. I was just gulping it down like an ogre, and I'm sure people were watching, impatiently looking at my phone while I waited for the clock to hit noon. I was already on their Twitter page when it finally did.

 I was so happy I almost choked on my food! And, to make things merrier for me and Kaho, Miyuu was the center for the title track and Keiko for the b-side. Things like this make my heart burst into happiness! So, needless to say, I went on Twitter to post about my expectations for the album, and got a couple likes. Feeling recharged, I went back to my routine. Always thinking of Miyuu, obviously. I kept remembering the kiss, though, very vividly… it really felt like our lips had touched. It also felt a little strange, as if I had some kind of fever. I felt a little sick, but it had a bittersweet taste to it. I guess it’s love.

 In the Tweet it was also announced there would be a teaser at 6PM, so I was pretty excited to see what they would give us!

 I wanted to go to sleep, but I also really wanted to watch the teaser! I kept waiting, and waiting, then I felt hungry and had to fix myself a snack, but then finally, the teaser was released! It was very short, but it had a medley of the songs, presenting the girls in different scenarios… Apparently, there’s going to be a PV for each song! Krystal Ent. must be making a lot of money these days, thanks to me, I guess… no joking now, the girls are becoming super popular, even overseas! Of course, I’m a spokesperson for them, so all of my family in Brazil knows about these girls, and I try to make sure every person I come across on Twitter gets to listen to at least one song. I’m too crazy for them, that’s the truth. Anyways… Miyuu was so pretty in the MV! She was dressed in this beautiful yukata, looking at the night sky… I’m so excited for her song!

 I actually have some memories myself of summer festivals and fireworks, which is the theme of her solo. Although I wanted something more hip-hop, a ballade is good, too. So, I don’t recall it perfectly, but I met this girl at a festival once. She had short black hair and was very boyish, we didn’t tell each other our names (I guess we were too dumb at the time), but we had a lot of fun and played the whole night. We took a photo, but she kept it because she told me one day she would find me and she would give me a copy. We didn’t exchange contacts, and I never met her again. Sometimes I think of her, although her image fades and I can’t picture her face. But the way she treated me was so… amazing… At that time, I was being bullied at school for being overweight, but she didn’t see me as weird or different. She saw the best of me, and I saw the best of her. I hoped to meet her again for a long time, and I even went to the festival for two more years only to realize it was foolish to try to find her with the little I knew. Wherever she is, I hope she’s okay. 

 I was getting drowsier and drowsier and I don’t even recall setting my phone away… soon, I was asleep. But I woke up to some kind of laughter and found myself in a car. 

“Finally awake?” What? It was… it was Miyuu talking to me. She was the one driving, and I was in the seat next to her. “You’re drooling, you know?”

“Haa… that’s… a little embarrassing.” 

“That’s fine, it’s just me, remember? I think it’s cute.” She gave me one hell of a smile. “We’re almost there. Quite a long drive, isn’t it…?” Suddenly, I remembered we were having a picnic, and that I had stayed up late finishing some work. She seemed to have slept well, unlike me.

 We arrived in a beautiful space. It was like a park, but completely empty, so it seemed like we had a reservation…? It didn’t make much sense for me, but I was really looking forward to that date. There was beautiful greenery around us, so many flowers… I was surrounded by love. She held my hand and gave me a little kiss, and then started to prepare everything for us to sit and enjoy the food we cooked together. I could even remember how much fun we had cooking it. 

 It felt perfect, and real. We sat down and enjoyed our sandwiches, cookies and cake, with some tea. It all tasted so good! We talked about our future, and the things we wanted to do together. Then, suddenly, she looked at me very seriously. She had a sad look, despite all the happiness we felt.

“What’s wrong?”

“You… you don’t remember, do you?” I didn’t know what she was talking about. “I can’t reach out to you… no matter how hard I try, our hands keep getting separated.” She was about to cry, I felt.

 That little perfect world that was just for us started to quickly form clouds that seemed really full. I felt stupid, hadn’t we checked the weather? It started to rain as tears ran down her face, and even when crying, she looked beautiful. 

“You’re leaving?” I didn’t want to, but I felt like we were being disconnected somehow. I couldn’t see her face anymore, she was gone. Or was it I who disappeared?  I woke up really sweaty and it certainly felt like I had caught rain. Once again, I cried. That time, because I felt like I had hurt her somehow. ‘This was supposed to be a fun hobby’, I thought, while I sobbed. Still, I was so tired from my day that I fell asleep once again. I had another dream, but this time it had nothing to do with her. Just a regular, boring dream. I couldn’t run away from Miyuu, though. My phone lock and home screen, my walls, my pajamas, even some of my dishes were merch. I ate the food she says she likes to eat, I watched the channel she says she watches in the morning, I brushed my teeth with the same toothbrush she once said she uses. Everything in my world was about Miyuu. I suddenly felt some anxiety, some fear, some feeling I didn’t understand where it came from. It eased within a few seconds, but I kept feeling sick. I had to skip classes and work, because I suddenly found myself not being able to get up properly. What was happening to me?

hasu + summer memories

kaho: when you think about summer you definitely think of the beach! but since nagano is inland she doesnt have many beach memories. so she read books about the beach instead. this year she was able to go to a training camp and have a live with everyone at the beach, and made some memories she'll never forget!

kozue: her parents receive a lot of summer cards and presents, so seeing rooms filled with them may be something of a tradition at her house... she also looks forward to having a yukata tailored every year. this year's ordering period has ended, but she seems to be considering having some tailored for the other members for next year

sayaka: when she was a child she sent her grandmother a summer card which made her very happy, and they continue to send them to each other every year. she messages the other club members a lot for milestones, and perhaps this was how she got into the habit

tsuzuri: likes watching nagashi soumen. they all flow with the current, but sometimes they come apart and get separated from each other. soumen like that is good as well. but while she was watching, someone put soumen in her bowl. just watching won't fill her stomach... probably

ruri: remembers writing wishes on tanzaku for tanabata as a kid with megu-chan. she doesn't remember what they wrote, but she does remember them laughing because they had written similar wishes. also she loves the summer holiday since you can play with everyone or spend time alone!

megumi: when she was a kid she was taken to see a movie of her favourite game. also she and ruri-chan took their water bottles and went on an adventure to see how far away they could go from their houses. at the time they thought they had walked for ages but now she realises theyd just walked around the neighbourhood

Dear Jori,

Hey Jori! Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is almost over here in Japan. They actually don’t celebrate “Thanksgiving” here but they do celebrate the Autumn Harvest Feetival on November 23rd each year. It just so happens that this year they’re one in the same.

This is actually the first Thanksgiving that I haven’t spent it with family. I’m pretty sure I’ve gone back home every Thanksgiving.

This week has been a lot of fun. Especially on Wednesday. My elementary schools had a music show were each class sang a song and played a song. They were all very cute. I recognized a few songs like zippidy do da and IDOL or Under the Sea. It’s so surprising how loud kids can be for things like a greeting or a skit. Like they well fearlessly shout things out to a crowd full of adults. I feel like elementary school students in America are more timid or shy for big crowd things.

I keep running into my students everywhere. I saw Taisuke on Sunday at the mall, Aki at Sushiro on Monday, Takuya and Yuujiro at the Konbini yesterday and Hino and Kaho and friends at Sushiro and some other group of girls at Sushiro today too.

Yesterday was also a company dinner. I just feel so out of place sometimes with the other ALTs. But it makes sense they’re all a lot younger than me. Josh especially. He’s the one that lives closest to me so we get Sushiro sometimes. He’s good company, easy to talk to, but he’s so young haha. Like we’ll get food sometimes but that’s usually it.

Most of my time I’ve been TFTing. One of the people I made friends with randomly on TFT wanted to play. His name was Bryant Zenpai and I was like we’re both Senpais but he also said that his girlfriend goes to Davis so we became friends. And we just played some games together tonight so that was kind of fun. But other than that mostly just been in DGs chat. I love just saying things and waiting for him to turn and read chat and he laughs as he reads it aloud. Wish that could be you though haha.

I wanna climb. I’m behind on sleep soo much cause the set just came out. But I kinda wanna invest my time into other things. I want to work out. I want to watch Attack on Titans too. And master Chef. And Blue Lock and Talentless Nana. And more Japanese studying. I can do simple sentences in Japanese now. Like I did something somewhere at a time. And sleep. I really should be sleeping but here I am in DGs chat. I still wonder if you ever stopped by. And if you saw me. I still wonder too much. I wanna play but I really should go to bed.

                a sign of INTRUDER alerted the guardian from her reverie, silver orbs reopened before she moved from where she was residing. feather-covered form rose from the high branch of the TALL TREE, before gliding down where she landed upon the grassy ground on two feet. crossing the slope of a nearby hill, she came to meet the one who crossed the border only for her movement to skid to a COMPLETE HALT.

                she remembered those pitch black eyes --- even through her REBIRTH. the eyes that resembled the ABYSS itself and the smell of blood clinging to his very form. this person ... it had been YEARS since she last seen him, and now ... both her and him were so different from what they once were.

Himiko Asane is my old ass TMNT OC who I decided to give a revamp after watching “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Movie” (which is so fucking good go watch it please!)

So here’s some stuff about her!

She is from the Heisan period (Japan between 800-1180) and I did this because in the Rise movie, Splinter tells the tale of how four warriors sealed away the Krang in a separate dimension. (These four warriors having a resemblance to the turtle brothers.) So I was thinking, what if Splinter told an abridged version of the story? What if those Warriors from before only knew how to make the key due to someone helping them? This person being Himiko Asane, the daughter of a powerful Mystic, who helped the Four Warriors imbue magic into their weapons. It was Himiko who helped them make the key.

However, during the battle with the Krang, to save the Warriors, she sacrificed herself and sealed herself within the key, trapping herself in time and space. When she emerged from the Key it was because the Turtle brothers were trying to figure out how to break it after defeating the Krang, and they accidentally released the still 16 year old Himiko, who is none too pleased about her old friends ancient mystic weapons falling into the hands of Teenage Turtles.

However, due to her being from Japan and having never heard a lick of English, there is a language barrier. Only Splinter can understand her and Raph can too but only a bit because his Japanese is rusty (he was the only one who took it seriously.) So her learning English/the boys learning Japanese is a whole deal to communicate. Splinter is having a blast the entire time because… its rottmnt!Splinter and he laughs at his sons’ misery. So Himiko is stuck with them until she can learn to blend in and not wanna impulsively blow up every piece of new tech she sees.

During this time, she does start to develop a fondness towards Mikey, and sees him as a younger brother figure. She and Raph also get close due to how dedicated he is to speaking Japanese and she respects him for that. Leo… is Leo and he just wants to charm her, but she is not into it. However, she does appreciate his silliness at times. Donnie however…

Both are wary of each other at first because they are so different. She finds new tech to be rather odd and scary and relies purely on magic while Donnie is the opposite. They only start to get along after she heals him using her mystic powers.

In terms of her powers, she has no ninjitsu knowledge or skills as a fighter in that sense, but she does know how to use combative magic to fight. Furthermore, Himiko can willingly transform into Tsukiko at night and her powers are even stronger as a result. They are same person, just different names because Himiko means "Child of Sun" and Tsukiko means "Child of Moon.” So it’s fitting.

Her voice claim? Kaho Nakamura (she plays Suzu in “Belle”)
