Summary: “Ino fixes her resting bitch face as she stares openly in a manner unbecoming of Konoha’s head interrogator toward her Hokage. There is mischief behind her blue eyes, the simmering sort that is patient and calculating. It makes Kakashi forget her comparative youth in the same way her myriad accomplishments during the last War make him forget it. This strip mahjong game, however, has proven far more dangerous to his survival than an undead Uchiha Madara hellbent on the total annihilation of their world.”

Or, Kakashi and Ino try to act normal in public. It lasts about as long as the Fourth Hokage’s reign.

what are some hinata ships you like? and ino?

For Ino I love InoSaku, it's would've been so obvious. I also like ItaIno (hi jo), DeiIno. My recent obsession is InoHina, they're an interesting match aesthetically. I'm ok with SaiIno, but it feels more like a side ship, not THE ship. And since I'm a sucker for age gaps, AsuIno and KakaIno!

For Hinata it's tricky. I'm not a big fan of NaruHina (it should've been SasuNaru imho). I think she would go well with an Uchiha boy, sooo SasuHina? And again, I'm thinking too much about TobiHina. And InoHina, which I already mentioned.

Instead of marrying off his niece, Tsunade's handmaiden suggests she take her place. Tsunade has been hidden from the world, so her appearance is inconsequential, and they are the same age. She tells Tobirama to train her so that she may annihilate the threat for good, from the inside.

Kakashi always knew that Yamanaka girl was scary, but he can't demand that Shikamaru stay in Konoha instead of visiting his wife's village with her. He only hoped that Shikamaru hadn't sent her to assist him in his place. Now, as if being Hokage wasn't difficult enough, he has to do it with her slinkling around in her tiny skirt and sly smirk, flicking her ponytail around with a coy "Hokage-sama, is everything okay?" when she knows damn well everything is Not Okay. He doesn't want to think about how many hours he'll have to spend apologizing to Asuma's grave if she bends over in front of his desk one more time.

Look... I've never, EVER, thought about Obito and Ino as a couple but I did like her doing the Shintenshin on him, had a couple of thoughts about them in that occasion but then pushed it under the rug.

Man you just made my day, thank you!! I am coconuts for this ship and I am so, so excited to see more people checking it out. And yeah, it’s crazy, they actually DID have some canon interaction and there’s like actual meat there??? I love a ship with personal beef between them.

I’m focusing on Sasori Week at the moment, but as soon as that’s done I will be back to the ObiIno and other ongoing stuff in general. In the meantime, I would love to rec some more ObiIno to you if you’re interested!

Too Good to Be True is a clueless-inspired HS AU that is so funny and so hot. I can’t recommend it enough!

Baby Boy is a short but very spicy one shot of you want something hot.

One for Taking Chances is the oldest fic in the tag and the one that sort of made us go “what if we made this ship a thing???” It’s a lovely fic, short but punchy.

The ObiIno tag on AO3 is almost exclusively full of fics from members of the Ino Supremacy server, so I think they’re all worth a read in general. We’re working hard to populate that tag!

(As for other Ino ships, there’s a pretty good variety on my AO3 now with stuff like GaaIno, KakaIno, SuiIno, InoKarin, and more. My main Ino ship is ItaIno by far, and I’ll continue to write more of them. But we rotate ships of the month in the Ino Supremacy server, which is where a bunch of these came from, so tbh almost anything is fair game!)
