A force ghost and a force walker :)
I wonder what it feels like for the sith inquisitor to watch all these ancient echoes that do not allow themselves to move on because they haven't finished what they lived for yet.

ask and you shall recieve :) maybe more doodles of zakharen? (and aric?) or any of your swtor ocs? :)
(i rly love ur artstyle by the way <3)
Thank you so much! I know I didn't make many SWTOR content lately.
I've been inspired by Treasure Planet to make a little scene between baby Zakh and Andronikos after their "fight" against Zash (because I realized that Zakh was barely 14 at the time). He trusted Zash and was left deeply hurt by her betrayal.
So... Hope you'll like it!

i am having a lot of "dawn and kallig are narrative foils" thoughts lately and because I always feel so awkward bringing it up with my actual pnp group, I will scream it into the void here
I think what fascinates me the most about those two is that they both deny themselves personhood but on opposite extremes.
Dawn tells people to use him, he refuses to be treated with the same standards, he would do anything to get his power back, not because he's power-hungry but because he wants to be useful again. He's nothing but a tool.
But sometimes... not often enough for anyone to notice, least of all Dawn himself, he's not. Sometimes digs his claws into the holocron and hisses, mine. Sometimes, he looks at what others ask of him and asks, Why? Sometimes.
And 'sometimes' is enough for Kallig to notice.
Kallig acts like he's a god. He takes away people's memories of any moment that made him vulnerable, of the time he acted as a captain and not a formless sith. He wants people to bend to his will, not the way another person would ask a request of you but the way a god demands your obedience.
But sometimes... he's not. Because he's left traces of himself scattered across lesser space. He's left pieces of himself in the minds of those he worked with, and even though they're buried deep, they are floating to the surface now. It's a blurred image that doesn't quite make sense yet.
But Dawn has always been good at finding things.

Okay, I don't know what's going on with Tumblr and everything has been absolute chaos with my life the past few months, so y'know what, screw it. I think I'm actually brave enough to share some of my art. At least it won't just be sitting on my tablet that way.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is my Sith Inquisitor turned Force-sensitive Outcast from SWTOR, Roodaka Greatstorm-Kallig. I haven't really plotted everything out with her regarding her story, but she's not my Outlander. She leaves the Empire right after Ziost, after losing all of the family she'd used her Dark Council connections to find and save from slavery, and Lana recruits her to help Sana-Rae run the Enclave about two years before the Outlander (my Knight Aja Verdona) is rescued. She's prickly and petty and spiteful but I love her dearly. And because I've never posted art before, art process and a little bit of character lore ramble under the cut, I guess?
I usually work with lined art/sketches that are admittedly very messy, but when I did the first one back in May I was experimenting with actually rendering/painting, and I saw a fashion post thing that looked like something Roo would wear, so I was mostly just playing around, it's not a solid outfit design for her. It's janky and wonky and oh Lord please don't look closely at the anatomy or face it is not up to my usual standards, but I was so proud of myself for the lighting on this one, as well as how I managed to render the muscle. Like, the lighting! I have no idea what I'm doing but I think it looks so flipping good! And I was happy with how the crackly lightsaber blade turned out—it is supposed to be Aloysius Kallig's lightsaber, meaning it's at least over a thousand years old, right? It should be a little janky with age!
The second one is supposed to be post Fallen Empire, after she's left the Sith and become sort of a wandering Force-user—think Ahsoka as of, well... Ahsoka, but more on the side of Ventress if she'd survived TCW (don't get me started on that choice 🙄🙄🙄). I came into it knowing a little more of what I was doing, but I kinda got in over my head and gave up on the 100% lineless thing, you can definitely tell with the sword/clothes. 🥴 The second piece has been sitting unfinished in my WIP folder for months, so I just said screw it, finished up some details and called it because I am SO PROUD of her face and hands (I DREW A GOOD HAND WITHOUT LINEART WHO AM I?!?!) and how I rendered her skin, I don't want it to live in WIP purgatory forever. You can actually tell that's muscle! And a neck!
I'm proud of how her tattoos turned out, too. I played around with Cham Syndulla's tattoo pattern, turning it at different angles. It felt like a good way to root her in Twi'lek culture despite the Kallig bloodline having been separated from it for so long. She gets the first one to cover up a slave tattoo, and the rest after Ziost to further reclaim her identity and culture, leaving the Sith behind.
I have no idea how to close this post. Um... thanks for reading all this, if you have? I've never posted art before, I'm kinda terrified. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

“I can make your life a livin' hell If I wanted to, wanted to Wish this was a love you never felt And you know it's true, know it's true”
                                                   - from song “Living Hell” by Bella Poarch
Started this one a few weeks ago and couldn’t finish it - every time I had a feeling that something should be fixed. Then I got fed up by this feeling and decided to post it here finally :p I like this ship a lot and though I feel somewhat cringe, it was nice to draw something with my Sepho and Darth Zash.
Also, it was initially inspired by Gustav Klimt’s painting “The Kiss”

I’ve been trying to tease out reasons why the Inquisitor, who is just trying to get by in a Sith-stab-Sith world, has fewer opportunities for neutral to positive encounters with Jedi than the Warrior, who is there to actively cause problems during Acts One and Two. Doylist-wise, it’s probably because you can’t change faction so there needs to be an implied reason why the Sith Inquisitor doesn’t go skipping off to the Jedi Order as soon as they are permitted to travel to neutral space.
It’s ironic how much less murdery my Warrior’s reputation with the Jedi is than my Inquisitor’s. Especially since one of the things that contribute to them acquiring those reputations is that Lys’trel tries to approach the Jedi she encounters with diplomacy and honesty (her views on the Jedi are ... complicated, but she doesn’t hate them or want them destroyed) while Tsojât is hostile and manipulative (he believes the Jedi Order is rotten to its core and the galaxy would be a better place without it).
Jedi like Nomar Organa and Masters Ryen and Ocera assume Lys’trel is lying when she proposes exchanges of mutual benefit and professes to have no intent to fight because the Empire and Republic are, technically, at peace. She’s a Sith. Obviously she’s lying. Every encounter the Sith have ever had with the Jedi from invading Republic space without making a formal declaration of war to holding the lives of the civilians on the capital hostage while negotiating the Treaty of Coruscant has proven they can’t be trusted.
They decide to lure her into traps to kill her under the justification that it’s what she’s trying to do to them and leave messages that are discovered by other Jedi after their deaths saying things like “played along with Sith’s plot to get Rehanna Rist out of the firing line, will intercept before Sith can enter the Elysium to carry out terrible plan” and “Padawan Zavros was tricked into believing Sith had non-threatening reason to be on Taris, will spring trap in the ruined temple when the Sith infiltrates it” because they’ve convinced themselves that’s what’s going on. When she kills them in self-defence it is taken as evidence confirming that version of events.
Another factor in Lys’trel poor reputation with the Order is that many Jedi’s initial impression of her is that she is a fallen Jedi defected to the Sith. Coming from a family enslaved during the Empire’s conquests during Great Galactic War and raised among many native Basic-speakers, Lys’trel speaks Republic Basic with a Rim accent rather than an Imperial one. She’s a very unImperial looking Rutian twi’lek and the Empire’s former policy towards Force-sensitive slaves is that they were to be killed on discovery. Viewing her as a proven traitor is more comfortable than viewing her as evidence of the fate of the Force-sensitives born in the territory lost to the Empire in the Great Galactic War.
She also has what some people perceive to be an unsettlingly erratic death-tinged Force-presence. Other Sith tend to attribute it to Lys’trel being a necromancer. Jedi, being less familiar with necromancy, are left wondering how many people would need to die around you for you to feel like that and why your aura would oscillate like an amateur unicyclist plotting a sine graph.
Tsojât is on a quest to reveal the Jedi as villains with good publicity. All the Jedi and the Republic’s posturing about peace and tolerance and standing against genocide is just that – posturing. He is going to rip off that mask, which means his own and the Empire’s behaviour must contrast favourably to their enemies’.
He was raised to follow the standards of right behaviour that seek to balance honour and obligation. Honour and obligation don’t disappear just because you’re dealing with enemies and inconveniences. He makes no promises he does not intend to keep, attempts negotiation even when he is certain (and maybe would prefer) that there can be no peaceful resolution with the Pubs, and tries to avoid civilian casualties.
Where Lys’trel proposing exchanges of mutual benefit was deemed suspicious, Tsojât’s stark distain is expected. Sith hate Jedi, so a Sith being open about that is a Sith being honest.
Tsojât spared Master Yonlach and Knight Yul-Li (because that was the price Yul-Li asked when he gave up his information), persuaded the Willsaam parents to leave with him and departed Castle Organa without attacking Master Volryder, spared Knight Ulldin (so he could recount how Zylixx snapped after having a Sith quote the Jedi code at him), and delivered Nomen Karr back to the Order alive (that was Jaesa’s decision and Tsojât considered it a mistake he had to respect her right to make).
To the Jedi, this apprentice of the infamous Darth Baras appears an unexpectedly honourable enemy. A Sith showing signs of somehow overcoming the disadvantages of his birth. Many Jedi who know of him imagined that he is struggling against the genetic disadvantage of a “Sith Pureblood” naturally attuned to the dark-side of the Force (the tsissai aren’t), that his childhood must have been brutal and neglected (it wasn’t), and that Tsojât’s disinterest in killing every enemy in his path is a sign that he is subconsciously feeling the call of The Light and The Jedi Path (he’s not).
Ironically, this interpretation of Tsojât has similarities with Tsojât’s own evolving view of the Jedi, softened by studying Jaesa’s life while hunting her. He hadn’t methodically contemplated how deeply a person’s understanding of the universe would be shaped by the dominant narratives of their culture before. Of course most Jedi don’t know the truth about his people and what the Republic did to them when all the histories they were raised on are a mess of propaganda, prejudice, and omission. Of course they don’t understand the Force if their Masters spoon feed them lies about it. Of course the experience of being on the other side of the Great Galactic War gave many people a plethora of bad impressions of the Empire. Succeeding in flipping Jaesa does nothing to disabuse him from this perspective.
While the SIS and Jedi Order do share information, they aren’t always the most efficient about it which leads to an … interesting conversation at the official big-shot Sith dossier swap after the Battle of Corellia as the SIS agents attempted to figure out why the Jedi Order ranked the new Emperor’s Wrath a lower threat than the freshly named Darth Occlus.

Quiet Night
Answering the questions made me realize i never shared this here.
Kallig/Theron, 942 words
Odessen nightime, KOTET
The alarm notifying someone has come doesn’t really startle Theron Shan but he sighs in exasperation. Here his hopes of not getting interrupted in this forsaken hour of the night go off the airlock. He closes the holo map and rubs his by now no doubt bloodshot eyes.
The backdoor to the outside opens and the bitter cold wind of the Odessen mountains licks his face. Bringing some of the rain inside too. Not that Kallig minds, walking under the storm without even bothering with a jacket. When you spend years in the insufferable weather of Dramund Kaas, she had said once, a little bit of water doesn’t bother you.
She closes the door behind her and squeezes her long, soaked hair. Theron rises from the chair and tosses her a towel from the wardrobe. Most of his stuff is in their newly joined apartment but he still keeps enough of them in here.
“You know, there’s a perfectly dry way into my office through yours,” he says, his amusement and concern intermingled. How much time she has spent under the storm?
“I do, actually but I was in the wilds when the storm hit. I was already wetter than-”
“If you continue that sentence, I’m kicking you out.”
She snorts. “That was heartless."
“Yeah, it’s called self-preservation.”
He strolls over to the little kitchen and begins to brew a herbal tea recipe Jace thought him so long ago. It was one of the rare evenings when he visited, to his luck Theron was sick enough that his voice sounded like an agitated ginx. “When you spend time soldiering in as many years as I have, you come up with a few tea recipes to pass on.” he had said, after making sure Theron had taken all of his meds and wrapped safely in a blanket, his eyes filled with affection. “I promise you, you’ll be back on your feet in no time.”
The heater beeps. He bats the memory back.
In the background, he hears the rustle of clothing. Sounds of her turning his wardrobe upside down to find something to wear. She dances her way to the kitchen a minute later and sits at the table. Stars, this woman prefers to sit everywhere but a chair. The borrowed jacket’s arms are dangling from her sides. Red and worn out, her favorite back then, her favorite now. He catches her arm and starts to fold the sleeves. When he’s finished, he brings her left wrist to his lips, kissing the tattoo over there.
His gaze melts into hers. A smile adorned by pure devotion, only reserved for him. “You know I won’t get sick from a little rain. You don’t have to brew tea for me.”
He bops her nose. “Do you listen when I say I don’t actually need that extra plate of jellied glowshroom stew?”
“So? You're all happy to eat it after you concede your grumbling.”
“I don't grumble.” he pours the tea from the heater and hands the steaming cup to her. “And you have to drink before it gets cold.”
“I do love this blend,” she says, inhaling the steam before taking a gulp. “It tastes so good.”
So do I. Theron wants to say, but the last thing he wants is to talk about something related to his father right now.
He gives her a quick peck on her forehead. “Make yourself at home. I have some work to-”
Before he can finish, Kallig puts the tea aside and yanks him on the collar of his shirt, pressing her lips into his. The taste of the herbal tea is fresh in her mouth and the smell of rain still lingers on her hair. Theron’s hands instantly slide down, inside the jacket, to her waist as she curls into him. That’s not one of her small sweet kisses, no. She kisses him like she’s trying to prove a point.
“What’s that for?” he asks, knowing full well what her intent is. Will there come a day when their kisses won’t leave him as a blissful mess? Probably not. Not that he’s complaining.
“Well, you do realize it's three o’clock in the middle of the night. Those reports will be there when we wake up.”
“Yeah, with a whole another pile of them from Midrim.”
“If only you weren’t this stubborn...” She takes another sip from the tea and sets it aside. “I’m going to help you to sort them out. But now, you’re going to pour one cup for yourself too, and sleep with me.” She draws a trail of kisses on his neck, setting his skin ablaze, and whispers. “Or do you need a little bit more convincing?”
“Are you seducing me to drop my work?” he says, sliding the jacket just a little bit to kiss the spot where her shoulder and neck meet.
“What if I am?”
“Well, I thought you wanted us to spend the rest of the night sleeping. Not engaging in certain other activities.”
Kallig laughs, and her whole body reverberates. “I love... what was it? Engaging in certain other activities with you, you know that.” then her hand entwines higher, gently running her fingers through his short hair. Her features are soft under the dim light of the kitchen stand. “But tonight, you need to sleep, Spy Boy. I’ll be right beside you when you wake up.”
You better be, Such a short time since we’ve gotten back together, I’ve already gotten too used to you waking up beside me.
“I’ll hold onto that promise. Let’s wrap this place up after we get our tea and go home.” He adds after a second, “Preferably using the dry way.”
