Yona of the Dawn, second chances
Just once, Kan Kyo-ga would like a fraction of his little brother’s luck. Time after time the idiot screws up, and yet nothing sticks. He caused the princess’ death, or at least everyone had thought so at the time, and all he got was a seat at the coronation. He got exiled to the middle of nowhere and came back with a miracle crop. For sure actual treason should have crossed the line, but the Kai army invaded just in time. All Kyo-ga has ever done is work hard, but there is no second chance for doing the right thing.

Yona of the Dawn OC
Name: Ivy
They/Them or She/Her
Age: 18
Background: Ivy is the adopted daughter of Lee Geun-Tae, the general of the Earth clan.
She was taken is when she was 4 and has fallen to the part as the future leader of the clan.
Until that happens she goes on adventures to prove to her father that she can and will the next in line for the title general.
Likes: Birds, Myths, Art, Dusk and Dawn, Music, Long walks, Friends that she holds dear to her.
Dislikes: Corruption, tyrants, Hypocrites, Lies, Too much power.
#1 Fun Fact: Her father, Lee Geun-Tae found her in a village on fire, her blood father was a very close friend to him, so to honor him he took care of his daughter. But as time went on Ivy started to look at Lee Geun-Tae as a father figure. Lee Geun-Tae didn’t know how to say to a child that he is not their father and their blood father died, so he didn’t really except it, but he didn’t deny it. Lee Geun-Tae wife, Yun-Ho, always had the thought of having a daughter so she loved her.
When Talugu came, Lee Geun-Tae completely ignored Ivy. She was so upset that she took what she needed and ran away. Lee Geun-Tae and his wife both noticed and sent out a search for her, but there was no luck.
Friends: Hak, Soo-Won * and a couple of more characters that I have not made yet *
#2 Fun Fact: When Ivy was little the 5 generals of the Kouka Kingdom they also had to take their kids to met each other and the place that they were protecting,
Sense Ivys father didn’t really think of her as his own. She had a wait outside the palace. Out there was also Hak, and ever since then they hanged out with each other when they get the chance. Ivy did met Kan Kyo-Ga but she really hates him, he was so weird. Not in a “ nobody gets me “ why, he was weird in a pervert way.
✨ I’m still kinda working on her story lol ✨

I don’t think I ever mentioned that in volume 28, Kusanagi talks about how she realized that Kyo-ga shouldn’t have had a towel on during this scene:
Tumblr media
She texted her editor to see if she had the go to just draw his bare naked ass for the tank version and got the OK on it. In the end, she didn’t do it because of time constraints.

Akatsuki no Yona - Kouka Kingdom 🔥 Fire Tribe
The Fire Tribe is one of the five tribes of Kouka Kingdom. It has the largest territory on the country. Its capital city is Saika. Kan Kyo-Ga is its current general who succeeded the position after his father, Kan-Soo Jin. The land of the Fire Tribe is located at the north of the Wind Tribe and at the northeast of the Sky Tribe. It shares a border with the neighboring Kai Empire. King Hiryuu, the dragon of Fire, is believed to be the founder of the Fire Tribe. The people of the Fire Tribe are proud descendants of a God. “The Fire God” is a melody passed down through generations. It tells about the myth of how the country of Kouka is founded. (x)
