The first time Atzia knocked on Aetos's door asking if he could talk because she couldn't sleep. The first time Aetos knocked on Atzia's door asking for the same, except Savitza wanted to come with so he hopes she's okay with a bird. How that tradition continues until it ends violently with Aetos's death. How Sav stays with Atzia after that. How Sav dies and it's all Atzia can do to keep herself together because that was his falcon, and she let him die. she let both of them die. she keeps letting everyone die. it's her fault, it's her fault, it's - you know what that first one was all for today it's been stuck in my head like a song on loop i'm sorry. no one knows them like I do (they exist in my head) and so i shall share their moments like the gospel of a faith more loving that anything written in the name of a god

Katelli, affectionally named "Ice Princess" by the rest of the crew, is Tepi'Canu's therapist, so to speak. She was born into a royal family, but rejected her title to live, in her words, "a more free life".

She's like ice cream, cold, but sweet.

So, this is interesting. Someone who knew Albert in real life tells multiple stories about him. Now I will warn you, at the end there is a story of how the guy found out Albert was dead, it's nothing gory but it's still pretty sad. This is also the first source besides me to confirm that Albert did in fact have dozen identities and not just CW, Katellis and Shirley.

There are several tidbits here I do want to comment on. Probably the most important takeaway here is, Albert had no notes, meaning the comic is not going to be finished. Rdewalt does mention that Albert hated ending stuff, but he wanted to work on a final chapter of Gene Catlow, and then continue with spinoffs focusing on various characters. That is highly ambitious and it is a shame we lost them.

Then, there is the mention of Albert's personal life, and incredibly shoddy excuses he came up with regarding where was Tawana Gilroy. It's incredible to think that this guy's cover would have been blown had he lived one more year. It's also confirmed that Albert indeed is a very private person, and I am sure not even rdewalt can really talk about Albert's past. For one not even he knows why Albert did all of that.

His "why?" answer died with him.

All of this is incredibly sad to read and it creates more questions, but I am glad there is still new information coming out of Albert this year.

I might get in touch with rdewalt in the coming weeks, but I will be mainly asking him about Albert's comics and his psychology regarding them. I feel like it should be done.

Wait. Was that Jack from Dave Hopkins' Jack? I keep forgetting that during the early-to-mid-to-late 2000s had this guy cameoing in random webcomics from time-to-time. Like the comic and character wasn't popular, just well known enough to use for other's works.

Yup. Jack is Death in this universe, though from what I know, Jack the comic and Gene Catlow don't take place in the same universe.

Gene Catlow used to loved it's cameos too, the entire Grandville Festival story features cameos from just about every notorious furry comic personality at the time, many of them forgotten by time. Of course many of Albert's alternate identities make an appearance too such as Shirley and Katellis.

Harrow Lake.

I must say I don’t usually like horror/thriller books but Harrow Lake by Kat Ellis is truly something else.

You really feel immersed in the time-stuck town of Harrow lake with Lola Nox as you follow her story into the truth. It is truly optimal.

I recommend this to anyone who loves a bit of a thrill and many twists, turns and surprises along the way and the ending not exactly as you imagine.

Kat Ellis is a truly amazing writer with the ability to transport you in to her world so far you can hear the jitterbugs chattering in warning and the pinprick eyes of mister jitters.

I questioned her on the ending( I will not spoil anything) but like any true author left it to my thought.

I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did, Kat Ellis you did a fantastic job! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
