Honey and Heather Photo gave me the most exquisite shots from our Alecto photoshoot, aka AL Couture, aka Saltwater Creature. She has. So many names.

This project was also a stash buster, using up 2 existing costumes that had run their course (including my last Alecto look) and a lot of other materials I had collected over the years. There are also 9 skulls hidden throughout this gown. :3

So i did change like the credit card numbers to be like 2023, all of the coupon codes are the dates of the first weekend of the first Katsucon back in 1995 and then all of the other numbers on it that relate to like the care reward card is the actual GPS coordinates of the gazebo. All the coupons were kind of like a satire for Katsucon like, one of the coupons was like $2 off $100 purchase of convention food, you know, playing on the joke of like, oh, convention, food is expensive.

I think the biggest reaction for people was just how long it was. And then when people actually like I encourage them to read it. And when they actually did read it, they got a chuckle out of it. It's something that like you can relate to and get an additional kick out of.

I think it was funny that like anybody could recognize it. I feel like Katsucon like New York Comic Con, anything goes, you know, I look how many. I saw Napoleon Dynamite cosplay at Katsucon this year, and there was a giant group of just people dressed as Pitbull, the singer, and had some kind of like, I feel like, you know, that's such a vibe of Katsucon.

He's finally done just in time for Katsucon: Fairy Gala Ortho! I've been working on this cosplay for over a year and I'm so happy with how he turned out, despite many twists and turns along the way. We got a bunch of nice photos so I'll be posting them gradually, perhaps until the beginning of spring?

I'm cosplaying Jarlaxle for Katsucon and I spent 3 weeks making these stupid pants. If they had turned out bad I would have had to become a terrorist, but luckily they fuck, they whip, I love them. These are the pants of a man who has sex on purpose.

i debuted a new alecto design at katsucon this weekend! this one was specifically for the cosplay couture gala and was a stashbuster project using mostly materials i already had, including cannibalizing my former alecto dress and my ghost of christmas past cosplay. i’ll say more about it once i have non-phone photos to post. (we took SO MANY photos.)

Still waiting for some other pictures to come in, but I’m THRILLED at how my Buggy cosplay turned out, and how many people loved my big ass showgirl hat 😭❤️. Having friends that wanted to do a Cross Guild group made me cry tears of joy, especially when they bullied the shit out of me all day 🤡😔❤️
