36. Character who looks amazing but you don’t like?

y'know the funny thing about this question is that if you asked me this question a few years ago, i would've actually had an answer--i've always adored miu's design, but it took while for her as a character to grow on me, i HATED her at first, haha. i've since developed a fondness for her, though, so she's not my real answer here. tbh there's not that many characters in this series i actively dislike (ik, surprising since i'm such a hater XD) but ig if i had to go with someone, teruteru has a cute design, but i never got past my dislike of him the way i did miu. also, kiibo looks pretty cool for obvious reasons (i mean, robot! what's not to love??) but tbh i didn't really care much for him until chapter six, so, yeah :')

uhhh....not really, lmao, i don't particularly consider myself lucky tbh. however i will say sometimes something good will happen to me followed quickly by something bad happening to me, or vise versa, and my brain will STILL immediately be like "wow this is just like komaeda's luck cycle" because the brainrot has been imbedded deep within me i fear skskgjkdfj

83. Least favourite chapter?

okay admittedly this is a bit of a hard question to answer because it's been a minute since i played any of the games, but ig the easy route to go here is that i don't care for chapter six of v3? saying this kind of feels like cheating tbh because i didn't like the ending of that game much, so like, ofc it's going to end up low on my rankings, lmao. i also remember not really caring for chapter five of v3 either but i don't remember any specifics of why and my opinion could very well change if i replayed it now so i'm just gonna stick with the easy answer of chapter six lmao

(For the ship bingo) Tsumugi/Kaede and Angie/Kaito?

Protag/Mastermind ships are always great, but this one has an extra special touch of fucked up due to Chapter 1. Like... Kaede attempted to murder the mastermind, and Tsumugi knew that- she counted on it, in fact. And when she failed, Tsumugi intervened, killing Rantaro and putting the blame on her. Kaede's execution is one of the most unfair deaths in Danganronpa, especially because she even died thinking she deserved to die and could've avoided her death with the First Blood Perk. It makes their dynamic such a fucked up little thing.

Also, Kaede is so into her during their introduction that it's not even funny lol.

This is one of those ships you start shipping jokingly and then start to dig deeper and realize too quickly that oh no, the joke's on you, because now you're really into it lmao.

My main interest in the dynamic is the way in which they contrast, especially in Chapter 3: Kaito has already started becoming the leader of his little clique, while Angie formed the Student Council. They both want to stop the killing game, but Kaito not only wants to escape but needs to escape (because of his illness) while Angie wants everyone to be content living in the school. They're both optimists that insist on not losing hope, but Kaito maintains hope by believing in others while Angie maintains it by believing in her own self (+ her God). Once you start thinking about it, the parallels are endless- even their main colors (Yellow for Angie, purple for Kaito) are opposite in the color wheel!

Anyway I think they should be in love <3

What is a Cross-Faction Ship?

(In regards to this event) Cross-Faction Ship is a ship where one character is on the opposing team as the other. So one character is “RED” and one is “BLU”. The best example for this is BLU Soldier and RED Demo are a cross-faction ship.

Are polyships allowed since two or more characters might be on the same team?

Polyships are allowed as long as at least one character is on the opposing team. For example, a polycule between Heavy, Medic, and Engineer where Engineer is BLU and Heavy and Medic are RED is allowed.

What about characters who are not BLU or RED?

All characters are welcome! You can have Miss Pauling, Zhanna, even Saxton Hale! They will just have to be placed into some kind of AU where they are on an opposing side to the character they are shipped with.

Wait- so are AUs like Modern aus not allowed?

I would never want to take away someone’s creativity- aus are allowed and encouraged! How is this possible? Well, as long as these characters are on opposing sides I’ll allow it as cross faction. Maybe this means two rival coffee shops or sports teams! Maybe it’s a Western AU! Get creative with the possibilities!

Are OC’s and reader inserts allowed?

Yes! I’d love to see them!

What about the Classic Team Fortress Mercs? Are they allowed?

Yes!

Nope, I don’t delete any of my fics (I’m being truthful! You can see my very first fic I published to ao3 on there) ! I believe you are referring to Till Death Do Us Part! The reason you might’ve missed it as I don’t technically have it under my “Archive of the Mercs” series despite it having a continuation of it through there :)!

I’m really glad it’s loved 🥺 I’ve been working on the next chapter I have many wips (some tf2 some not) that have taken my mind as well. I do, though, have a plan to finish as well as an outline. I just haven’t been particularly happy with the chapter

adkfljasdklg i can see why tbh, i still have like twenty five minutes left but so far my thoughts are that while it's not as bad as the trailers made it out to be and the lead actress is giving a really good performance, it's also not really that scary and it's definitely not approaching its themes with the subtlety they need to actually pull this story off, lmao. we'll see whether or not it sticks the landing for me though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
