I find it interesting that there's this major misconception of the Blue Strings, The only way you can actually see the Blue Strings in any way is if you have The Sight, and currently only Rosemary and Joseph have that ability, it's what allows them to see what makes someone special. But those with the Blue String, aren't aware they have it at all, they can't see it, nor can they really understand why they're like this. Until Rosemary told Player why or what's been happening to them, they've just been feeling like they have no control in their own body, as if something has been puppetering them. Having the Blue Strings doesn't mean that the holder themselves can see it. It's why Player doesn't even know until Icyridge. Let me repeat this, Player can't see the Blue Strings. Nor do we really know how it feels to be controlled by the Blue Strings. But they can't see it. That ability is strictly belonging to Rosemary's bloodline. (All those fanart with Player seeing the strings are technically wrong, since it's in canon that Player can't even see us. It's why they aren't aware of us until Icyridge.)
