can you make a short tutorial on how you draw zelink? aaaa i just love how you simplify their faces and forms🥹🫶🩵
Thanks for asking. I apologize that I can't do tutorials for you. I'm not good at explaining...
but here's the time laspe sketches of Link and Zelda, I hope this helps you a bit.
I think using references from the games will always be helpful. I also use refs a lot! And draw from your emotions

Just like for my daughter, I also made a personal request drawing for my 7 year old son. Recently my gamer boy has being playing a lot of Kirby so he wanted fire Kirby and waddle dee with a fire stick. A lot of the drawing isnt visible because of the frame but I do think I am getting better at it. And the though that both my kids have a custom made drawing before I die one day warms my heart.

Since it's been almost a year since I started drawing, I decided to redraw my first piece. I can't believe just how much I've improved since then!

Today's practice :3
I dragged my dusty drawing books out to refresh the old memory and booooy did it help! In fact I cried a little, because I haven't been this happy with my art in... ever. I am really happy with how it looks and how far I've come as an artist.

Woobles Nonny Here!
I finished the elf today! I also am working on a Poodle (Sophie). It came out very.... hole-y, it is an intermediate kit which means it is harder. I usually stuggle with these types of kits. I am going to re attempt it with different yarn and sees if that makes a difference. I am almost done with it. I might start another tonight. The chest nut and Molly (i love that name) are hanging out by my family's TV now in the den.
#woobles nonny
You went with Molly! Yes! Great name, good pick that makes me happy.
A poodle? Yeah, I bet that would be tough to crochet. But hey! Think of it this way, you’re doing waaaaay better than me! So don’t give up! You can make it less uhh hole-y before you know it.

Something I've rediscovered since I started drawing again: there will be at least one point in any piece where it just Looks Wrong.
Maybe something has a weird shape. Maybe the shading is off. Maybe perspective or proportions are wonky. Something Will Be Wrong.
Don't let it stop you. Try to find it and correct it.
It's amazing how many times I've erased and redrawn a single, seemingly inconsequential line and suddenly it all slid into place like a mechanism and the part of me that was stressing just relaxes.
