After some digging around I located the pic source of the cat. The cat is called Dewey, not Odin. The entire story is also not belonging to Dewey, it’s from somewhere else. Lastly, the vet bill isn’t for Dewey either and also is from something else.

Oh yeah, I was thinking about that Wolfwood one-shot again. Specifically, the character study exploration of his childhood trauma. It would be a heavy one, but I was thinking... since I'm chapters away from when he's introduced, I wanna maybe write this before I get real into it with him. I Did write him in Sentido, but that was only a little bit and that was all the back in April. I want a better feel for his "voice" before I start writing him longform, since he'll be here for basically the Rest of ITNL (for the most part)
This one-shot would be to Wolfwood what Sentido was to Vash, writing-wise. Aka a little thing to get myself used to getting in his brain. It'd be very useful for writing him properly.
And no, I haven't done this with any of the other characters (besides Vash), but... idk, there's a certain amount of "fuck it, we ball" to writing characters in ITNL. Me studying them and picking up their speech patterns and going "Alright, guess we're doin this!" Not too hard for ones like Meryl and Milly, but VERY hard for ones like Midvalley and Legato... I still am not confident in my Midvalley "voice", but it is what it is.
This is different though. Wolfwood is so important to the overall plot and he will be Very Present, which means I don't wanna get him wrong. If my writing of Midvalley isn't perfect, then like w/e bc he's not nearly as important to the fic as Wolfwood is. Wolfwood though... I need to have him down Solid before writing him in the fic. And Thus. The one shot.
Also though, irrelevant to all of this, I just really wanna write it lol. The rest of it is just incentive to write it sooner rather than later.

🏫 Classroom of the Elite Review! ⭐
Hello! Welcome back to a new anime review! In this one, I'll be reviewing Classroom of the Elite!
Does it need to be introduced? Classroom of the Elite has become a classic over the last few years as one of the best school/psychological anime ever. It has two seasons so far (25 episodes in total) that started airing in 2017.
Psychological anime are always a hit or miss for me: either I really like them or I find them uninteresting. Well, in this case, it is a true success! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
The plot is basic, to say the least, but it doesn't matter much in a psychological anime. It serves more as a sort of background, and it does that job well.
The character cast is pretty decent as a whole, with a few characters who really stand out. In particular, the protagonist is probably a top ten character of mine - I love his type of character and personality in fiction.
It does lack a memorable villain for now, but the ones that have already been introduced aren't that bad, and one of them is actually pretty good. As the plot thickens, I'm sure we'll get even better ones.
Character development is okay thus far, especially for a couple of characters who really grow in these first two seasons. There are some narrative arcs that focus on specific characters, giving them a chance to shine.
Of course, in a psychological anime, character dynamics are key. Well, I thought it was the main strength of this anime. The MC's dynamics and schemes revolving around the other characters are intriguing and leave you asking for more.
The various backstories are interesting and useful to the story. Furthermore, the different mysteries in this anime prompt you to think a lot about what will happen next, which I think is cool!
In terms of music, this anime is solid. The OST is good, and both OPs and EDs are, as well. It serves the story well, and it helps build up the tension at times.
Visually, Classroom of the Elite is stunning! I loved the aesthetic and the color palette. On top of that, the animation is clean, even in the few fighting scenes - and this isn't an action anime!
Overall, this was a very pleasant surprise. I expected it to be good, but not that good. The third season airs in 2023, so the wait shouldn't be too long. Until then, I recommend it!
Down below is the tierlist for the characters in this anime! Thank you for reading this review!

Time to talk an unnecessary amount about floors!
Episode 6 of Dungeon Meshi was produced in collaboration with a smaller studio, Enishiya - and it went way harder than I expected, for being made up of two relatively simple and self contained stories focusing on one character each.
And you can really see how those extra resources meant the animators could give full focus to both halves of the episode. Let's take a look at one piece that stole the show.
The first half was handled primarily by episode director/storyboard artist Keita Nagahara and co-animation director Hirotoshi (or Hiroaki? [1]) Arai. It's actually kinda insane how much of this section can be attributed to these two.
But the real star of the show is the second half, Chilchuck vs the mimic, led by co-animation director Toya Ooshima in his first animation director role for TV anime!
And the biggest aspect that knocked my dang boots off was something that's very consistent with Ooshima's style: background animation!
By animating the backgrounds rather than using painted still images, Ooshima and the team of other similarly skilled animators are able to create these beautiful dynamic camera movements that wouldn't be possible otherwise. Like these cuts by Takeshi Maenami where the camera becomes an expressive part of the scene, zipping forward and backward, and tilting to emphasize the speed of this murderous hermit crab. (Maenami's style is also very recognizable here - snappy timing and quick camera movements)
Or this cut by the incredible Kaito Tomioka which cleverly combines a traditional background for the walls with a fully animated floor. The level of detail in these tiles is just completely insane, and used to great effect with this wide, diagonal angle, and the way the camera tentatively drifts forward before reversing direction, and the tiles blur out as it speeds up.
I don't think I'm the only one caught off guard by how much they full-assed this little side story, but it was a pleasant surprise!
I broke down the entire episode in this video here. A lot of research went into this one, and I think it's the best one of these videos I've made so far, so if you're at all interested in more of this type of analysis in video form, I would really appreciate it if you checked it out, or re-blogged this post! Thanks
[1] It's listed as Hirotoshi on Anime News Network, but Hiroaki on a key frame that Studio Trigger shared on Twitter, so I'm not sure which one is wrong.

If your favorite anime gets a sanrio collab and your favorite character doesn't get paired with your fav sanrio character then I'm sorry but you have some rankings to rethink.
For example I thought I was Kenma girlie but then haikyuu x sanrio came out and next thing I knew I was getting shipped off to the Tsukishima barracks.
