Patterson and Vanessa Pabiana
So you’ve been asked by patterbatson to reblog their pinned post about their cat called Patterson. You’ve seen their comment that tells people their totally real and to message them because the people calling them a scammer is just ‘too much effort’ to deal with and ‘stressing them out’ and they’ll reply to any messages that ask for updates.
Tumblr media
Now, surely you think this means their legit…Right? Well, they don’t own Patterson. In fact, their post is stolen word-for-word from somewhere else. While it’s a private group, I screenshotted the relevant part that showed what was stolen. They have stolen the original post itself that came before the updated one but it’s the same post as the person who helps me copy/pasted the original story.
Tumblr media
patterbatson isn’t the owner of Patterson, and has denied their a scammer even with evidence that clearly shows they stole their post from Facebook. This scammer has already gotten funds from users who didn’t know it was a scam and has even blocked those who sent money but called them out. For further evidence of the scam, I also have a screenshot showing the legitimate address though the full link is on my other blog. Here is just a cropped one showing the name of the owners daughter who is confirmed to be the one accepting any funds and isn’t related to this Vanessa Pabiana.
Tumblr media
I also have more evidence of the scam; When the person who was being stolen from found out about the scammer they joined tumblr to call out the scammer themselves in the notes that remains not hidden but not noticed to people who didn’t check the notes first. With a sense of urgency, there’s usually no time wasted to share. However, this is the real owner as it matched up to my contact telling me the owner joined.
Tumblr media
In closing, don’t trust patterbatson if they try to tell you their legitimacy in messages. They are not legitimate and are stealing someone else’s post for funds and won’t refund any money people have sent them. Please spread the word about this scammer and bring awareness about them. This should be any proof anyone needs compiled into one post.
Update: The blogs finally gone!

Scammer steals money from a cat with cancer!
This Paige person stole my cat Turbo’s vet estimate and fundraising info and replaced my payment/my vet’s contact info with her own personal PayPal. It sickens me that she is stealing money from generous and kind hearted people who wanted to help my cat who has cancer.
This is her scam post, DO NOT DONATE TO HER!

I am putting out a warning for the blog @/blktransdyke for very likely being a scammer, and is/was the same person behind the now deactivated blog @/raisedeyebrowemojii (who is also very likely a scammer) for the following reasons:
Usage of a very common story one particular scammer constantly reuses across multiple blogs (which i've talked about here before)
Several typical scammer red flags: Their blog has only existed since April 2023, and they started asking for money immediately. The blog only posted for the month of April and then did not post for months only to come back in January 2024, and start asking for money again
Their blog is sparse of anything denoting a personality, personal interests, friendly interactions with mutuals or followers, aesthetic choices and/or blog customization, and the only thing they reblog is also mentioned in their bio, thus indicating a falsified persona for a scam blog. (Ex: they say they are a lesbian, and so have a few posts about lesbianism, and the rest of the posts are almost exclusively fundraising posts)
Inconsistent information
Suspicious behavior on twitter, which was also noted and called out on twitter
Claiming to be homeless, but apparently rejected the non-monetary aid from another user who offered to house them
Claims to be "Indigenous" but then misuses the terminology of their alleged tribe (thus likely indicating racefaking for a scam persona)
No proof of their claims
Posting the same personal information as two other suspicious accounts while call three claim to be different people (& this is connected to the raisedeyebrowemojii blog)
& you know me, I always come with screenshots and proof. Image descriptions will be available in Alt text. (& please bear with me, some screenshots lead to imgur due to tumblr limiting images to 10).
First off, the suspicious story that is often reused by one particular scammer:
There's a scammer on here that ALWAYS uses the same story of:
Claiming to be trans,
claiming to be homeless,
Says they are homeless because they were/are being kicked out by a bigoted/homophobic/transphobic parent
Shows a screenshot of a IM or text message correspondence between them, and their alleged parent, where the parent is being abusive, and the messages always very concisely, very conveniently mention what is happening
Usually says they are disabled in some way (though before they would usually claim to be autistic)
The blktransdyke blog has all five of these things.
Im putting the rest under the cut because this is gunna get long, buckle in.
Secondly, inconsistent information, rejecting non-monetary aid, & suspicious Twitter activity (& this is also connected to the creation date of their tumblr account, which you'll see in a moment):
The blog blktransdyke uses two methods of recieving money, gofundme, which is linked on their main page and is run by someone named "Avalon Smith" (& we can assume this is the name they prefer to go by, because they have the tag "avalon speaks" on their blog), and this gofundme account says its based in York, Ontario. And the second is paypal, which uses a different name, which is "Ashton Jones" & the paypal url of "/ashtonjonesy". Below, the first screenshot on the very left, is a screenshot of the first post they made asking for money on April 14th 2023 while linking to the gofundme account, and then the second screenshot to the right is the blktransdyke's more recent donation post asking for money to be sent to the ashtonjonesy paypal account, and then here is a link to a screenshot of the gfm run by "Avalon Smith".
Tumblr media
The consistencies are odd: and while one might think that "Ashton Jones" is an older name or a dead name, but if you search up "ashtonjonesy" in a search engine, you get two results: one leads to a post made by a now deleted twitter/X account with the url "blktransdyke" while using that same paypal (so we can assume this is the same person from twitter/X) and the second is ANOTHER twitter account, still up, that is completely different, also using the twitter url that is the same as the paypal username (/ashtonjonesy) who also claims to be homeless & kicked out by a transphobic parent, but says they have different pronouns than blktransdyke & seems to be transmasc, not a binary trans lesbian that blktransdyke claims to be. Below is screenshots of that.
Tumblr media
But what's more troubling: the second twitter account @/ashtonjonesy on twitter/X says that they were 24 years old as of July 2021, while blktransdyke claims that they are 21 as of January 2024. So this can't be the same person using different names and twitter accounts, and yet curiously both are using the exact same story (both claim they are trans, homeless, and disabled & using a wheelchair), and both use the exact same paypals, while are apparently two completely different people. And again, we know that there is a scammer who repeatedly reuses the exact same story details across various accounts
And then, more concerning, that if you search up "blktransdyke" on twitter, while the original posts by the account are gone due to the account being deleted, you get results of various Twitter/X users retweeting the account blktransdyke's post, which was them asking for money. The bottom screenshots are related to the next point: highlighted in yellow you can see someone offering blktransdyke a place to stay, and they live in the same province, and the second screenshot, highlighted in blue you can see that on April 12th 2023, a twitter user accused them of being a scam. We can assume the blktransdyke account wasn't taken down yet that day due to this user encouraging other users to report them.
Tumblr media
Recent tumblr creation date:
The oldest and first post made by the blog blktransdyke on tumblr was posted on April 14th, 2023. And as you can see, that was two days after the blktransdyke twitter/X account was accused of scamming. So the blktransdyke twitter account was accused of scamming, then was either deleted or self deactivated, and then the blktransdyke tumblr account showed up immediately after that while using the exact same paypal and story. Which brings us to the other half, which is
Rejecting aid
On this screenshot we can see in a retweet of what the original blktransdyke twitted/X account originally said in the post, and that on August 22nd 2022, they claimed they were still homeless, so apparently they didn't take up the person in Toronto who was literally offering them a place to stay on September 2nd, 2022 (which you can see in the screenshot above, on the second last tweet result to the right).
Claims of Indigeneity & inaccurate terminology:
This one is more minor compared to the other evidence listed here, but in blktransdyke's bio, they claim to be "Inuit" & "Afro-Indigenous": the problem here is that "Inuit" is the plural form, its uncommon that Inuit refer to themselves as this in the singular pronoun because it is grammatically incorrect and an actual Inuk would know that, and instead will use "Inuk" to refer to themselves, but blktransdyke says they are "Inuit". So this terminology is inaccurate coming from a person claiming to be "Indigenous". & just in case they change it, here is a screenshot if their current profile description. Moving on,
Posting the same information as another blog
This is where things get more wild. I have reason to believe that the now deleted blog @/raisedeyebrowemojii ("Jay") is and was a scammer who befriended multiple people to gain trust, and that blktransdyke is the same person as them due to the information that both blogs posted. A couple things to note here is that 1. Raisedeyebrowemojii claimed that they were suffering due to a terminal kidney disease, 2. ALSO stated that she was escaping an abusive situation, was a lesbian, was homeless, and was victimized by a homophobic/transphobic parent, and 3. Had not posted anything since June 2023, before eventually being deactivated. Some of the users "Jay" befriended worried that she may have died due to this apparent kidney disease (which you can find in the tumblr search if you look up that tumblr username). Now, I can't find any paypal that "Jay" posted, but they DID post several other links allegedly that were being used for their donation posts
In this post, graciously saved on webarchive for your viewing pleasure, on May 16th 2023, @/raisedeyebrowemojii claimed that they needed a mattress, and also linked a patreon for allegedly their "best friends'" and "caregiver's" cat, named Trouble 📌. Put a pin in that, we'll come back to it. Below is a screenshot of that post where they linked the patreon. Notice that it's a brown, striped tabby cat. And here is the patreon link (which is still up) that the @/raisedeyebrowemojii blog linked for their "best friend's cat" that was apparently meant to be used to fundraise for their day to day life bills. It doesn't have a lot of patrons or followers. Below is a screenshot of the link I gave for webarchive talking about fundraising for the mattress, and the cat patreon.
Tumblr media
Also note, that neither this post by raisedeyebrowemojii nor in the patreon does it link to any other site for content on "Trouble the cat". It vaguely mentions a private Facebook page, but doesn't give any links.
And the blog @/blktransdyke posted this video as well as THIS video, and in both videos, they claim that this brown, striped, tabby cat is their "best friend's cat" 📌. Below are screenshots showing its the same cat, including the same black and yellow blanket.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So both the blogs @/raisedeyebrowemojii AND @/blktransdyke posted a cat that looks very similar: it's brown, a tabby, and striped, and both said that this cat was their "best friend's", and raisedeyebrowemojii said that this cat's name was "Trouble" & referred to them as "Trouble the Cat" in the linked Patreon allegedly belonging to their "best friend". Except here's the bigger problem.
Trouble the Cat is already an existing open, publicly available facebook page with 27K likes and 42K+ followers, and it has its own YouTube page, tiktok account, and Instagram. And if you look at the far top right video on the second screenshot showing the youtube channel, it's the exact same video that appears on the blktransdyke tumblr page. It's the exact same brown, striped tabby cat, in the exact same grooming position, on the same black and yellow blanket, with the same thumbnail, and the exact same caption.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So both Raisedeyebrowemojii AND blktransdyke posted the exact same cat that allegedly belongs to their "best friend", and both of them claim to be homeless, trans, disabled, and being kicked out by a transphobic parent.
& if you go to the links, the official trouble the cat's first instagram post was made on December 23rd 2022, its oldest youtube video was posted on December 23rd 2022, and the facebook says it was made on March 30th, 2021, HOWEVER, the account says they've been active since 2008, but made a post on November 15th, 2023 that said they'd been hacked and made a NEW account, and furthermore, on November 7th 2023, they ALSO made a post saying that multiple other accounts were trying to impersonate them. So, side note, this account could have been hacked by the scammer.
The raisedeyebrowemojii linked that cat patreon on May 17th, 2023, and the oldest video that the blktransdyke posts of that cat is on January 6th, 2024. Both therefore, could have plausibly and likely did, steal these cat videos because all accounts of the troublethecat social media accounts existed BEFORE either raisedeyebrowemoji OR blktransdyke posted them. I find it highly unlikely that both of these blogs had the exact same "best friend".
And if this was true and that this really WAS raisedeyebrowemojii's "best friend" and their cat, then why didn't raisedeyebrowemojii blog link to the other official troublethecat social media accounts, especially since they were so popular, and they claimed they were using this patreon for fundraising for bills? And why didn't the official social media accounts ever say anything about raisedeyebrowemojii's patreon if they were "best friends" trying to fundraise? Surely, an account with 42K followers would have more than a few willing patrons that could have helped their alleged situation.
Therefore, neither raisedeyebrowemojii OR blktransdyke are actually affiliated with this highly popular social media account of "Trouble the Cat" and BOTH of them stole from this account to scam, and both accounts wrre/are run by the same person.

Posting this on most of my socials. Thank you guys for raising enough money for Justin but recently I've been scammed out of 1,100 dollars for someone who was "interested" in helping raise for Justin. I got $800 of my debt excused but I am still in great need of the rest to be paid off. I am willing to do any commissions to be able to do this. Ignore my "will not do" list. I am open to everything. Wework founder raises $70m for blockchain-based, "voluntary” carbon credits
Tumblr media
Even crypto’s biggest boosters admit that the industry has a scam problem. This is especially hard to deny now that hundred of billions of (real) dollars’ worth of (fake) “stablecoins” have gone up in smoke.
Crypto apologists will tell you that there are scams everywhere, and they’re not wrong. The productive economy has been systematic dismantled and replaced with financialized grifts: private equity, REITs, SPACs, MLMs, ad-fraud, and monopoly. That means the only way to save for retirement, health emergencies or your kid’s college education is to roll the dice in a crooked casino where the house always wins:
https://pluralistic.net/2022/05/23/you-got-spacced/#the-house-always-wins
But even at this moment of peak scam, crypto stands out as especially scammy. There are some structural factors behind that. For one thing, crypto is complex — in fact, it’s doubly complex, because things like smart contracts can only be truly understood if you can read source-code and a prospectus, and most people understand neither.
Complexity is a fraudster’s best friend. Any time someone adds complexity to a proposition bet (“I’ll pay you X if Y happens”), you should assume that the complexity exists solely to obscure the true odds and rope you into a sucker’s wager:
https://pluralistic.net/2022/05/04/house-always-wins/#are-you-on-drugs
Then there’s pseudonymity and anonymity. Anonymity is key to the right to privacy, but when you combine anonymity with finance — not the right to speak anonymously, but the right to run an investment fund anonymously — you’re rolling out the red carpet for serial scammers, who can run a scam, get caught, change names, and run it again, incorporating the lessons they learned.
Go through the Web3 Is Going Great archive for scams and you’ll see that crypto implosions are rarely one-offs. Typically, the fraudsters who steal millions from crypto gamblers are repeat offenders who’ve refined their grifts through a series of crimes that they were able to outrun by assuming new identities:
https://web3isgoinggreat.com/?theme=hack
When you can’t understand the nature of a financial product, and you can’t know for sure who is offering it, you need some other rule-of-thumb for determining whether you should gamble your savings on it. The big one here is “transitive trust”: I trust this person, and this person says the new coin or product is great, so I’ll trust that, too.
Maybe you trust Larry David, or Matt Damon, or Madonna, or Reese Witherspoon, or Gwyneth Paltrow, or Spike Lee, or Bill Self, or Paris Hilton, or Tom Brady, or Mila Kunis, or Aaron Rodgers, or Stephen Curry, or Marc Cuban, or Shaquille O’Neal, or Serena Williams, or Justin Bieber, or Eminem, or Jimmy Fallon, or Logan Paul, or Snoop Dogg, or…
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/17/business/media/crypto-gwyneth-paltrow-matt-damon-reese-witherspoon.html-crypto-disney-adds-subscribers-the-wide-shot
Of course, it’s easy to explain why you might not trust celebrities to give you financial advice — being good at acting or sports or music doesn’t mean you’re good at finance (think of all those stories of celebs who die in poverty after squandering their millions).
But it’s not just celebs who endorse cryptocurrency and related products. Some of the biggest names behind new crypto offerings are A-list investors whose entire public persona is based on their incredible financial acumen.
These investors — including the all-star A16Z, formerly Andreessen Horowitz — have firmly established that they back cryptos based on whether they can make money and get out, not on whether the company they’re investing in is offering a sound, sustainable product. For A16Z, bets on wildly unstable “stablecoins” or imploding, wildly un-fun “games” like Axie Infinity are sound investments — not because these firms have any future, but because coin offerings are unregulated securities that let investors cash out before the companies collapse.
Even amid this pump-and-dump ethos, one of A16Z’s investment stands out as especially cynical. The firm led a $70m Series A investment in Flowcarbon, a “voluntary carbon market” (VCM) cryptocurrency led by Adam Neumann, the notorious Wework founder whose unethical conduct and misleading statements scuttled a $47b IPO.
https://protos.com/flowcarbon-funding-round-proves-reputation-means-nothing-in-crypto/
There were lots of things wrong with Wework, and Neumann was behind all of them. Protos provides some of Neumann’s greatest hits:
Running a business culture shot through with substance abuse
https://archive.ph/C7xS8
Rampant self-dealing, including rent real-estate to his own company and extracting his investors’ cash by offering himself below-market loans out of the company’s coffers:
https://archive.ph/3T5dN
Filing a personal trademark on the word “We” and then charging his own company a $6m license fee to use it (he eventually refunded this, after public outrage):
https://www.businessinsider.com/wework-ceo-gives-back-millions-from-we-trademark-after-criticism-2019-9
Protos doesn’t mention Neumann’s most relevant misconduct, though: employing a nonstandard valuation scheme that allowed him to falsely claim that his company was worth $47b. At the time, I felt this was obviously fraud, and subsequent events bore out this assessment:
https://qz.com/1685919/wework-ipo-community-adjusted-ebitda-and-other-metrics-to-watch-for/
Despite Neumann’s manifest untrustworthiness and his history of capital-destroying financial shenanigans, A16Z has helped him raise $70m. Remember: if you don’t understand crypto products, and you don’t know much about businesspeople, you are forced to rely on the judgments of celebrity investors like A16Z to guide your financial decisions.
Neumann’s new venture, Flowcarbon, will only be profitable if naive, retail investors also buy into it. Flowcarbon’s main product is a speculative crypto asset called the Goddess Nature Token (GNT). What is a GNT? It is meant to represent “a non-binding, self-created carbon offsets for excess pollution.”
Basically, a carbon offset. Now, carbon offsets are already incredibly scammy. Large firms deal in tens of millions of dollars’ worth of carbon credits that represent — for example — forests whose owners have pledged not to log them. But in many cases, these are forest that would never be logged (because they’re owned by a wilderness trust, say). In other cases, the forests have burned down but the credits for not logging them are still being traded:
https://pluralistic.net/2022/03/18/greshams-carbon-law/#papal-indulgences
Flowcarbon’s goal is to take this market for lemons and make it bigger and faster, to facilitate “price transparency, liquidity and accessibility.” The target customers are DAOs and defi projects, especially ones using planet-destroying proof-of-work systems like Ethereum and Bitcoin. These projects will be able to buy carbon credits based on even shakier promises of carbon offsetting and claim that they are carbon neutral.
As Protos points out, the traditional finance markets for these voluntary offsets have failed spectacularly. Companies like the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) tanked and took their investors’ capital with them. The major distinction between Flowcarbon and CCX is being “web3, bro” and being helmed by a man whose funny accounting and self-dealing cost his investors $47b.
A16Z and Flowcarbon insist that this will all be very successful: that there will be a long line of people with sound carbon offsets converting them to Goddess Tokens and listing them on Flowcarbon’s exchange, and an equally long line of environmentally concerned DAOs buying those Goddess Tokens.
Their pitch to you, the person hoping to retire without freezing or starving to death, is that you should buy the Goddess Tokens now. Get on the waiting list, and hold Goddess Tokens against the day that they shoot up in value as Adam Neumann — the $47b failure who nevertheless walked away with $480m of his investors’ money — leads the company to glory.
Even worse, the scam at the core of Flowcarbon is carbon offsets. Flowcarbon’s mission is to allow other businesses to claim to be good for the planet based on dubious carbon offset projects. On one side of Flowcarbon’s market, you have investors being lured into buying dubious tokens. On the other side, you have customers of companies who are lured into buying their products because they believe them to be good for the planet.
“Two-sided markets” are the darling of the tech investor set. From Uber to Amazon, tech investors correctly understand that there are fortunes to be made from Chokepoint Capitalism, where a firm corners a market and extracts rent from buyers and sellers who can’t reach each other otherwise.
https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/710957/chokepoint-capitalism-by-cory-doctorow-and-rebecca-giblin/
With Flowcarbon, we see true innovation in two-sided market design. Usually these markets are only an obviously bad deal for one side of the market. For example, Spotify gives listeners access to a lot of music at a low price, while robbing musicians (long-term, Spotify also rips off listeners, too, of course). But Flowcarbon has proposed a two-sided market that’s a bad deal for both sides.
Seen in that light, Adam Neumann is the perfect leader for this business. Wework was sold as a platform for other businesses to run on. Flowcarbon is a scam that is also a platform for scams — scams that roast the planet and bankrupt desperate retail investors, who naively assume that what’s good for A16Z is good for them.

thetreeonthecountryside/thetreepoink is a scam account
They’ve now conned people out of $130 so please share this post to bring awareness that their post is a scam post. (Link removed as the account deactivated.)
The blog is a scammer. They don’t own Elvira and here is how I know. The PayPal address their using isn’t the one owned by the actual owner. The real owner isn’t a tumblr user and their post has been stolen by the scam account word for word. No money donated to the PayPal username kathnicols is going to the cat. Also the PayPal address is in the Philippines and if you pay attention to the vet bill it’s for MA.
The blogs bio is stolen from another blog.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which is basically the scammer trying to look like someone’s alt account.
Please don’t donate to thetreeonthecountryside/thetreepoink. They block/delete any reblogs/comments that call them out so you have to do it another way. This scammer doesn’t care about this cat they just stole it off Facebook. Here is the original owners posts.

FTX Warns Community of Phony ‘Debt Tokens’ and Scams Claiming to Be Affiliated With the Bankrupt Exchange
Tumblr media
On Friday, debtors who control the official FTX Twitter account warned the community to “be on alert for scams from entities claiming to be affiliated with FTX.” They also noted that neither FTX debtors nor any entity related to the company has issued any IOU crypto assets or “debt tokens.” The alert comes as a token called “FUD (FTX User’s Debt)” has been circulating on the Tron blockchain and is listed on Huobi.
FTX Debtors Leverage Official Twitter Account to Inform Community
FTX debtors who control the official FTX Twitter account are warning the community about entities claiming to be associated with the now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and the restructuring team and debtors use the official FTX Twitter account often to inform the community of updates. On Feb. 17, 2023, the debtors issued a warning, stating that the bankrupt firm has not issued any debt tokens. “The FTX Debtors remind stakeholders to be on alert for scams from entities claiming to be affiliated with FTX,” the bankrupt exchange’s official Twitter account said on Friday. “The FTX Debtors have not issued any debt token and any such offers are unauthorized.”
FUD Token Circulating on Tron Blockchain, Listed on Huobi
As the exchange’s restructuring team and debtors warn the community about unofficial tokens, a cryptocurrency issued on the Tron blockchain called FUD, or FTX User’s Debt, has been circulating. Some information about the coin is available on coingecko.com, and as of Feb. 18, 2023, it has been trading for prices between $15.05 and $16.88 per unit. On Feb. 6, 2023, Huobi announced that it had listed FUD, with an initial supply of 20 million. The announcement also states that the “Debtdao” decided to destroy 18 million FUD. Tron founder Justin Sun discussed the project in detail on Feb. 4, 2023, noting that the “bond token represents the top-quality FTX debt asset and is set to benefit everyone in the crypto world.” Coingecko.com does not list a circulating supply for the FUD token, and Tronscan shows that there are currently 2,000,000 FUD tokens. Of this supply, 1,999,966 are hosted on Huobi, and there are only four unique holders, according to the Tron explorer. According to Coingecko.com, Huobi is also the most active exchange, and over the last 24 hours, FUD has seen $213,072 in trading volume, mostly paired against tether (USDT). FUD reached an all-time high of $73.97 per unit on Feb. 7, 2023, the day after it was listed, and it has since fallen 78%. The warning issued on Friday from FTX debtors and the official FTX Twitter account does not mention any specific token by name. It simply provides the web portal link where people can obtain information about the bankruptcy and restructuring process at kroll.com. What do you think about FTX’s warning about unofficial “debt tokens” and the recently launched FUD token? Let us know what you think about this subject in the comments section below. hello, thanks so much for doing your scam busting, is the account @/shtunning another palestine scam? i can't find the images used on google anywhere, but the lack of a gofundme makes me wary
This one is looking veeeery suspicious & is pretty much most certainly a scam for the dollowing reasons:
El-shab-hussein, a Palestinian who's been helping us with vetting real Palestinian fundraisers from scams, says that the ONLY confirmed Palestinian fundraisers who claim to be in Gaza are on this list, and that blog is not one of them
That blog already has me preemptively blocked 🤨 🚩 I've never interacted with this person in my life, and its a big red flag to have scam busters blocked
Their donation post was made YESTERDAY, and their archive is turned off 🚩we see scammers do this to hide how old their blog actually is (that it's new and suddenly asking for money) and to make it harder to investigate them
Their donation post reblogs and replies have been turned off 🚩scammers do this usually after someone has called them out on their suspicious behavior, often with proof that they're scamming, and they do it to hide the evidence and prevent anyone from seeing or reblogging this evidence against them
They're asking for donations, but do not provide a paypal or gofundme attached 🚩 scammers nowadays also often try to hide their paypal because they like to reuse one account across multiple scams, and used them enough for those accounts to be recognizable bc scam busters keep track of them. Additionally, you can tell someone's actual location by a paypal link, so scammers often are trying to hide any discrepancies in their fake story (like say, pretending to be in Europe but are actually in Canada). Laura Deramas & co have been doing this a lot, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was her
They claim that the photos they provide are of their family in Gaza, but there's literally a watermark of these photos originally being from the website Gazanow 🚩 why you would use a seperate website's photos of your family & then blur out your family's faces from the photo (even though it's already on a public website & that's where you got it?), instead of any photos that THEY themselves took, makes no sense to me, & is extremely suspicious.
They claim their "entire family" is in Gaza and that they've been working & supporting their family abroad (presumably allegedly in Europe since theyre asking for money in Euros) since 2016, and that they are 24 years old. So according to them, They've been the single sole supporter of their entire family in Gaza & moved to & have been living in Europe ALONE since the age of 16? Idk that kinda doesn't seem that plausible to me.
They've backdated their blog, and tried to use posts with thousands of notes to make it harder to find that out lol 🚩🚩🚩according to the screenshots below, they backdated their blog (& in particular, this post) to look like it reblogged a post on February 17th, 2024. But once I looked in the notes, I very quickly found it in the most recent notes that it was ACTUALLY reblogged YESTERDAY
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Image description: two vertically stacked screenshots with a blue water filter over them. The first shows a screenshots of a reblog by the user shtunning, showing a falsified reblog date of February 17th 2024. The second shows the real date within the notes of this post that they had reblogged, dated to "1 day ago", April 17th, 2024. End image description.]
And as another thing, they're claiming to be Palestinian, but using language an actual Palestinian who has lived in Palestine would never use lol, such as "revive peace between us". There was no "peace" in Gaza before this, Gaza is an open air prison under a settler colonial occupation and has been bombed regularly for decades?
Tumblr media
So yeah this is definitely a scammer lol
