Eu já acordei no pique, fazendo as coisas o mais rápido possível só pra finalmente começar a colocar minhas ideias na capa e tcharam! Ela nasceu. aight. HINATA BEING TERRIFIED THAT KAGEYAMA WAS GONNA STOP SETTING FOR HIM. JUST LIKE HE SAID WHEN THEY FIRST MET. CAUSE HINATA WASN'T BEING NECESSARY TO WIN. AND HINATA TRYING SO HARD AND BEING NOT ONLY FRUSTRATED THAT IT WASN'T ENOUGH, BUT ALSO SCARED THAT IF KAGEYAMA SAW HE WASN'T USEFUL. HE'D LOSE INTEREST IN HIM AND STOP SETTING FOR HIM. nekoma cutting off Hinata's wings not only to stop him from flying, but to make kageyama stop helping him fly.

and kageyama sees that. realizes that hinata isn't being useful to him or the team. AND HE FINDS A WAY TO SET FOR HIM ANYWAY.

he sees Hinata can't get up on his own and everything is telling him to drop him- the most reasonable & rational thing would be to stop setting for him. and y'know what kageyama does? HE TELLS HIM "GO AHEAD, FLY"

HE SETS FOR HIM ANYWAY and finds a way to make him fly even higher. WHICH IS SO DKSBSKSJSJSKS IDEK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT. like not only does that tell hinata that no matter how much people try to stop him, kageyama will help him fly anyway- but it also speaks about kageyama A LOT. cause there wasn't a strategic reason to keep trying to use hinata- in fact, he could've used nekoma's focus on him on their favor and instead set for other players.

BUT NO, he chose to keep setting for hinata. because at that point it wasn't just about winning, for kageyama. yknow how important is that? kageyama, who only ever cared about winning, thought setting for hinata was more important to him than winning.

IF THAT DOESNT SAY A LOT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IDK WHAT WOULD

yeah those r my main thoughts. overall a very good movie, perhaps the pacing could've been a bit more intense/nerve-wrecking for my liking? like i wasnt so "in it" as i was with many matches in the anime. still, i think it had a bit more of a focus on relationships and background stories and character development, specially through flashbacks, symbolism & but impactful quotes, so it's still chefs kiss. very much recommend watching it if u haven't.

When we find out they've been texting each other a lot, qhen they are training together they are always hanging out (to the point kenma's teamates were proud of him for not being super shy) and also kuroo makes that comment about how when he looks at hinata it's the same look he gets when he is playing a fun video game??? Kenhina:

They're the fluffiest most wholesome ship to ever exist. They're also opposites where Kenma is cat-like, introverted, cool, smart, and Hinata is puppy-like, extroverted, energetic, kind of stupid. It's an opposites attract kind of situation, I guess. Additionally, it is canon that Kenma, who hates exercise, thinks the pain is worth it when he sees Hinata because "Shouyou is interesting". They don't let their friendship get in the way of their sports, and actually challenge each other to make each other better because that's what real friends do. Also, Kenma is extremely shy, but Hinata was the one who got him to open up and enjoy volleyball truly.

Furthermore, Kenma and Hinata have the softest colour palette of yellows and oranges which remind you of summer. They are very wholesome and KenHina ship is the second most popular ship in fandom after KageHina.

In the timeskip, Kenma literally sponsors Hinata and funds his volleyball shenanigans. If that isn't sugar daddy of them I don't know what is. And Hinata promises Kenma to always stay interesting and play volleyball forever. They stayed in touch even after high school and they chat regularly (canon) and that says a lot because most people lose touch but not these two because they are the most precious ship ever and deserve to be appreciated.

Random, but can I ask your opinion on atsuhina and kenhina (if you don't mind me asking)? Like, even as multishipper, I really can't feel the potential romance with either atsumu or kenma. But I love atsuhina & kenhina as platonic duo.... Not that I hate the ship or people who ship them, every one is free to ship who they love. But for hinata, kageyama is the only one (in my opinion).

Yes, I'm very excited to watch the Haikyuu movie, 31st May can't come fast enough!! I've heard that the movie leaves a lot to be desired but it's still an exciting thought to see my boys on the big screen ❤️❤️

The Little Giant/Tenma thing is definitely one of my favourite plot twists in the manga as well, I never thought we'd actually get to see him + Akaashi ending up as his editor in the timeskip was a wild coincidence! Hinata going to Brazil was a huge surprise as well, and also Oikawa becoming an Argentine citizen and facing all his rivals on the highest stage @ the Olympics was so unexpected and iconic and made me a bit crazy ngl 😵‍💫

iwaoi- a prince and his royal knight/bff of a war-torn country who've known each other their entire lives. "fire forged bonds of trust and friendship" like obviously, these two were made for this AU. (they're begging for a military au but i'm not about that military romanticization so)

kenhina- i never shut up about it so you probably already know but gang AUs are honestly the best for them. Hinata's the newest member of Karasuno, Kenma's the mysterious right hand of Nekoma, sprinkle in some cases of misconstrued identities and you've finally got an AU that best translates the full weirdness of kenhina's besties/rivals/would kill each other for fun dynamic. Like I don't even go for this ship but i'm such a sucker for this.

daikuroo- idk how many of you were also around for my teen wolf phase but i'm giving these two my supernatural detective agency au, Daichi's the detective,Kuroo's a demon being hunted for a crime he didn't commit. It's a glorified cop/robber i know but i'm so attached to it. And Daichi is canonly a cop so...

Akaashi x Osamu (idk their ship name) - pygmalian and galatea but half the story's dedicated to the chaos that happens after galatea/akaashi comes to life. This is partially because akaashi is just that pretty and partially because I think that osamu as pygmalian shows off his intensity and passion and dedication which usually gets hefted on to atsumu in an attempt to make osamu "the cool aloof twin" (also if you don't know, the myth's basically that pygmalian is a sculptor who falls in love with his own statue and the goddess of love brings it to life for him)

Semi x Shirabu ice skating AU because pretty, steely Shirabu deserves to be an ice skater. They're rink mates but they're also rivals and Shirabu's the rising prodigy that Semi can't help but resent aka their canon dynamic OR, they're a pair- in an imaginary world where the ISU allows same sex skating pairs ofc- who still resent each other but are forced to work together.

Tendo x Suga - medical drama. This is a genre I don't personally watch but I think tendou and suga have the vibes for it.

Asanoya - Hades and Persephone. Like basic, yes but it works so well for them?? Canon Asahi is constantly misunderstood as this intimidating thug guy which translates so well to Hades and Noya's the persistent Persephone with a will strong enough to force the gods to heel. (also i think it's funny that asahi means "morning sun" and he lives somewhere where the sun never shines)

Today was a very special day for Hinata why it was his and kenma anniversary of their friendship you know you wanted to do something special from the heart he wanted to make something that was meaningful so he decided to write a song so I told his partner Kōtarō that he will be in his studio working on it which bokuto said was fine he was going to practice with Atsumu and omi and see him later and he wants to hear it when it was done which shoyo agreed
