Any debate of rapport shared between the duo is briskly thrown out the window and laid bare for all to see as the redhead's weight collides roughly with the training mat below, unsheathed sword at the front of Keqing exuding the vigor of fighting spirit out toward the very tip of her weapon. There is an ample amount of equilibrium in the leveled breaths passing through her lips; harmony in the playfulness of their battle-worn tryst. Her posture straightens from her previously wide fighting stance as she peers down at Childe's equally disheveled state with satisfaction. 'Win', she muses while bringing her weapon down to relax at her side.

"Lying around on my precious time is simply unacceptable, Childe." Taunt. Magenta hues glow in their mirth - the elation of today's upper hand basked in all its glory. She maneuvers herself to kneel on one knee, gently placing her sword down onto the floor and instead replacing the empty space between her fingers with his own hand. Knuckles are brought to her lips; Keqing places a chaste kiss, eyes narrowing as they focus closer on the oceanic aqua trained on her.

A gentle touch of electrotherapy to soothe bruised wounds, one might say.

"Don't get all winded on me now. I have high expectations of you and this much alone won't suffice. I trust your ability to keep up, so, don't disappoint me."

Do you think Reader and Keqing would bond over their love for Rex Lapis paraphernalia? Keqing would seem to be embarrassed and want to keep it a secret while Reader is unashamed. I think it’d be cute. Keqing is the only one I know that does have a plushie of an archon. It’d also be funny because THE Rex Lapis is also Reader’s husband. And Zhongli KNOWS his wife is his own fan that is not ashamed to show it. I wonder what’d he think? Just a little train of thought I’m curious anyone else would have.

I, for one, support the besties with Keqing agenda! She has a whole collection, miss girl is DEDICATED. I just know her position in the Qixing means she can afford the best limited-edition merch and ensure she's one of the first to get them before they sell out. She'd totally help you out!

And gosh, imagine inviting her over to your place to show off your collection and gush about it together, while Zhongli's off to the side watching you two, utterly entertained by the display. He'd also internally marvel at how far Keqing's come in terms of her approach towards the god, from skepticism to acceptance to a closet fangirl. I mean, she's practically drooling as she clutches your latest plushie, and he thinks she's got half a mind to just up and run away with it.

Zhongli would also be very surprised that merch of him seems to be in very high demand these days! Maybe because of his 'passing,' people feel the need for Rex Lapis paraphernalia so they can still feel close to him?

Amber x Razor: hc Amber to be 18-20 and Razor to be 17-18 in case anyone's alarmed. It's the bunny x wolf and "outgoing girl helps awkward and closed off boy get out of his comfort zone" for me

Keqing's landing on her foot from dodging a cluster of exploding mushrooms hadn't been proper. Her ankle is definitely bruised now, the dark blue color hinting that the last thing she should do is walk on it. However, Lumine's offer of a piggy-back ride is met with protests.

“Traveler, please, I’m fine!” She argues with a shake of the head. "It's just a little bruise."

The throbbing of her ankle when she sets her foot down says otherwise, but she bears it with a grimace and attempts to charge on.

It’s not that she doesn’t appreciate the support from someone she considers a close friend... far from it. However, she didn’t ask Lumine to accompany her to the depths of the Chasm just so she could be her caretaker. The last thing she wants the traveler to think is that she can’t rely on Keqing as well.

 A muffled yelp slips past the Yuheng's lips as Lumine suddenly scoops her into her arms, princess-style. The relief that comes from getting her weight off her injured foot is quickly displaced by flustered distress. 

"Traveler? What are you doing?" she cries out, her voice about an octave higher as pink overcomes her face. While this is perhaps more dignified than a piggy-back ride... Lumine? Carrying her for miles until they return to civilization? Absolutely insane! 

"I can still walk! Just put me down right now!"

Have you ever made the girls Enchantix designs?

Not properly yet, no. Which sucks because I have the immense desire to do so. Enchantix is by far my favorite transformation, so I'm really looking forward to working on those.

However, I want to finish up the transformation sequence that I posted a WIP of a while ago for their winx forms first. Getting started on their Enchantix designs will be my reward for finishing that up!

I mean, I have a few ideas in mind for them, but nothing set in stone yet.

THE SUDDEN ONSLAUGHT OF RAIN FEARS NO MAN AND GIVES WAY TO NO SURVIVORS. Her heart begins to pound against her chest, her body but a mere conduit for the growing sparks of electricity and static that seem to crackle as she pushes forward into the heart of Liyue Harbor. Panic floods the air just as the drops of rage meet the ground in swift, but thunderous waves. She continues to ignore the screams of terror that meet her ears; it only stirs her further in a blind rage to locate the source of the catastrophe as the Millelith and Adepti alike continue to escort the average civilian out through the mandated evacuation order. No one dared stop her - who in their right mind would? FEAR THE WRATH OF A WOMAN SCORNED, a woman whose home and very purpose of existing was being threatened in abyssal destruction. The impending fall comes without meeting the ground just yet, irrate rage at the prospect blinding her tunnel vision and ears deafening out anything and everything that was not the disturbed laughter of that wicked Harbinger. There were much more pressing matters to attend to; Keqing knows this better than anyone, loyalty and duty being one of her many core identity factors. Yet, it must wait for just a moment more. Childe strikes her as the type to lie in wait while basking in the horror of his success, watching from a safe, yet calculated distance away. In the millisecond she finally catches sight of scruffy orange locks does she immediately lunge forward at him, sword unsheathed and a primal look of insanity that aims to kill warping all sense of rationality that normally adorns her feature. Yet he is swift in his reaction time; naturally, she misses. So she swipes her sword at the air, failures being marked by the lack of blood on the metallic covering and only the downpour of rain fizzling and burning out into nothingness against sheer electricity. Again, and again, and again. Each swing is met with a side-step just out of reach, and for the one step forward she takes in an attempt to jab the length of it in his torso, he is already two steps back. Her eyes are shrouded over with a murky darkness that does not go unnoticed by her target.

'Wow. You even outburn the sun, my star, with the whole world in your sad eyes!' He jeers, grin in tow as one more fruitless attempt at a swing wounds up with his wrist curled around her own, sending the blade clattering down to the floor. She then is pulled back toward him as if the entire ordeal is some sort of laughable, pitiful dance. (He leads, so she must follow.) Goosebumps rise up on skin in formative disgust, the unearthing of Osial yet but a tragic backdrop for this one-sided pas de deux. She is unable to do anything but meet his glance; his eyes that match her own lack of light in the reflection of herself behind his jaded, aqua orbs. In this instant, her consciousness calls to her. The Yuheng snatches her arm away, stumbling back as she takes this time to regain her breath. With each inhale is a shaky exhale, shoulders rising and falling rapidly.

"You monster...! How could you treat this all as if it's a game?!"

Genshin characters as ways animals court and mate

Welcome to another round of (hopefully) the weirdest biology lessons you'll ever receive. Essentially a shitpost, someone should take away my writing privileges. There could be better suited animals out there, I just chose from the ones I know. Some are reposts from my old blog, some are new.

Wriothesley - Acinonyx jubatus (Cheetah)

Regrettably, Wriothesley doesn't have as much time to see you as he'd prefer, seeing as he spends most of his time in the fortress. As such, he can be somewhat of a passionate and at times eager lover when he gets his hands on you. He takes pride in his physique and thoroughly enjoys when you're visiting and goes down to watch him train. Better yet if you see him win a match. Once he has you alone, he wastes no time getting close, his voice low and sultry as he asks about all that has transpired since he saw you last. His hands roam along your body as you try to answer, knowing full well nothing you say makes sense, heart swelling at the look in his eyes. It's fine, he'll ask again later when you're both relaxing with a cup of tea. Cheetahs are actually very straight-forward when it comes to reproduction. Males living in coalitions will sometimes fight for the right to mate. Females use a combination of vocal signals and urination to attract a partner, the male might also use urination to indicate his location. Once the pair meet, the male produces a series of sounds called the 'stutter-bark' which triggers female hormonal cascades and induces ovulation so the female is in prime condition for mating. Wriothesley could make a lot of people ovulate with his voice alone let's be honest.

Dehya - Orcinus orca (orca / killer whale)

You first notice that things have changed when Dehya starts inviting you along (only on jobs that are low risk, of course). Then you notice how her touch begins to change, what used to be simply grabbing your wrist to pull you back before a sumpter beast could trample you turns into a lingering hand at the small of your back or a thumb rubbing circles along the back of your hand as she doesn't let go. She's always been talkative with you, but at this point, there are so many layers to your communication that an outsider would have trouble following a conversation. Next, you realise that several in the Corps of Thirty recognise you as "The Flame-Mane's partner", something that only makes her smile and wrap an arm around your shoulder when you bring it up. "You don't seem to mind it". From there, she's in Sumeru City more often, dedicating her time there to you - especially if she can convince you to let her dress you up. Orcas are incredibly intelligent and have a very high level of social organisation. Pods are tightly knit but can split for a few weeks to months depending on conditions. Courtship behaviour typically includes vocalisation specific to the dialect of that clan (one organisational level above pods), play-like behaviour such as breaching the surface, and non-sexual physical touch. "Coerced mating" does not seem to appear in orcas, with one observed instance of a male (with the aid of its mother) attempting to kill a female's offspring to mate with her resulting in the female severely wounding the male and thus dissuading further attempts. Orcas have also been observed to... dress up.... by placing dead fish on their heads and swimming around like that.

Venti - Sepia apama (Giant cuttlefish)

This little charmeur knows exactly how to play the mating game despite competition being fierce. Not exactly imposing, people merely scoff when he cozies up to you. Sure, he has his hands all over you and his head making a bee-line towards your lap. But he's drunk. And oddly endearing in how gently he touches you, like you're something precious, his eyes almost shining when he looks at you. Gotta remember he's a poet as well, a few of his sweet words and it's impossible to resist going home with him. Giant cuttlefish males are very competitive and aggressive, with the largest ones being able to secure females. BUT smaller males, sometimes referred to as 'sneaker males', will wait for the larger male to be distracted and sneak past to mate. They've also been observed to change their colouring and hide their hectocotylus (think of it as a specialised penis-arm) to resemble a female and better hide.

Keqing - Hippocampus hippocampus (Short-snouted seahorse)

The Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing is, unsurprisingly, a busy young lady. However, that doesn't mean there's no time for frivolities. It's just a matter of adjusting your schedules, nothing a bit of planning can't handle. She's fond of inviting you for early morning walks, preferably bringing breakfast for a brief stop at the outskirts of Liyue Harbour. Of course, you notice that she starts asking for your opinion on a multitude of topics, most curiously when you've joined her for shopping and any compliment from your lips has a faint blush dusting her cheeks. Despite how independent she is, the closer you two become, the more comfortable she gets with trusting you to lighten her load. Absolutely adores coming home to you being all domestic. Short-snouted seahorses are extremely faithful to each other once they're a pair, even syncronising their reproductive stages to be fertile at the same time. The first time every day a pair meet, they perform a 'greeting' that typically lasts more than five minutes and consists of moving around together. Like all other seahorses, they are ovoviviparous, meaning the female has an ovipositor that she uses to deposit eggs into a pouch on the male's abdomen. The male carries the eggs until they are fully developed, at which point he goes into labour. Interestingly, a male in a secure pair is ready to receive eggs mere hours after labour without any negative health impact.

Kaeya - Pavo muticus (Green peafowl)

Kaeya is impossible. Between being quite the flirt and keeping everyone at arm's length, you well and truly have no idea what's going on. You think he always dresses up a little more nicely when he knows in advance you'll be there. You think he tenses a little less when it's your hand that brushes against his skin. You think he sounds a little more sincere when he invites you home. But that's the frightening part, you think a lot of things, but you don't know anything. Not until the day he looks a little worse for wear, makes no move to undress you after sitting down on the bed. He brings your hand to his cheek, guides your fingers to push his eyepatch off. You don't praise the beauty, instead opting to press a kiss to his eyelid. That's when he confesses to having only sought out your company and how he doesn't want to continue with things as they are. He wants more, even if it scares him. Green peafowl sets itself apart from the more commonly known Indian peafowl by not displaying lek behaviour (a lek is a gathering of males where they 'perform' for the attention of females that roam around). In the wild, young males have been primarily observed maintaining a harem, but because of conflicting observations, it is believed that while juvenile birds can gather in a harem, older birds form monogamous pairs. While the tail of a peacock is traditionally considered an ornament for attracting females, it is now also considered "honest signalling of fitness". A longer tail makes flight more difficult, and evidence points towards investment in tail growth happening at the expense of immune function. A bit like some unhealthy things humans are prone to partake in to enhance appeal.

Xiangling - Blattella germanica (German cockroach)

It probably comes as no surprise that Xiangling likes to surprise you with treats and meals. She takes great pride in making sure you're provided for and makes certain there's never a dull moment for your tastebuds. Maybe it's a little overwhelming at first, but don't worry, she'll learn your preferences for flavour combinations quickly. But more than anything, Xiangling loves being in the kitchen with you and seeing you add your own personal touch. Sure, she has a penchant for running all over the place, but there's no place like home. Blattella germanica males produce a sugary substance that they secrete from their back, offering it to females to keep them still long enough for copulation. This penchant for glucose led producers of pest controls to include it as bait, but as nature tends to, this has prompted a rise of glucose-aversion and a shift towards the sugary substance produced containing more complex sugars to distinguish the taste. Experimental little chefs.

Neuvillette - Torquigener albomaculosus (white-spotted pufferfish)

The kind, thoughtful, compassionate, awkward Iudex of Fontaine is the picture of "he's a little confused, but he's got the spirit." Neuvillette has no idea what to do with himself the first time he feels his heart tighten at your smile. Unfortunately, he's not exactly subtle, various romance novels suddenly popping up around his office... He tries everything, consults Furina (not a good idea, too many sweets), the melusine (better but still not great, aquatic flowers aren't that appealing on dry land), gifts you pure spring water with a taste description matches your personality in his mind (Wriothesley begged him to just invite you for tea instead and Neuvillette should have listened). It gets especially bad endearing when he asks you to accompany him for a stroll. You're confused when he brings you out into shallow water, insisting you sit down while he proudly presents the partially submerged 'nest' so you will always have a safe place to return to. These pufferfish have some unique habits compared to other pufferfish. To impress a female and show that she will be well taken care of, the male creates a large nest on the seafloor, making big circles and pushing the sand around to get it just right. We're not exactly sure why they make these nest... And even less why they seemingly refuse to reuse them. It's believed that females pick a male based on how 'impressive' the design is and how fine the sand within the nest is - presumably for the safety of the eggs. If I were a pufferfish and a slightly different kind of pufferfish started showing off a nest, I'd be pretty confused.

Pantalone - Gerridae spp. (Water striders) OR Garrulus glandarius (Eurasian jay)

How Pantalone acts very much depends on who you are and how you behave. If you're simply a means to an end (his own release) then you can expect to be used, under threats of misfortune if you're uncooperative, and then discarded. But, if you've truly caught his attention as something worth keeping, then you can expect a well thought out, catered specifically to your tastes, display of his wealth and what he can offer you if you stick around. Gerridae males will mount the female while they're on the water surface and thrum his legs against the surface to attract predators (the female is more likely to be eaten since she is closer to the surface), only stopping once the female stops resisting. The eurasian jay has been observed to regularly give gifts, not only right before mating, and has displayed that conscious thought goes into picking what the female will appreciate the most, with often opting for bringing her something 'new and exciting'.

Women's Day, SAGAU

This is a short unedited drabble i am sorry for the spelling and gramatical mistakes that will occur. As of for now there is no TW.

There were new rumors bustling about. It travelled from the merchants going through the borders of the nations, to the workers, and to even the office-bound scholars. It was quite an odd phenomenon that one rumor could hold the attention of so many and such a diverse group of people, but it was to be expected when the subject was related to none other than their grace, their beloved creator. Indeed, the scholars of the akademiya were scouring or writing down notes of this new holiday you had deemed important, trying to see if it was passed down somewhere.

Women's day.

Such a simple yet odd holiday, their grace had decided to celebrate. Some scholars wondered what was so special about this date and in this day, was it the stars aligning just right or some other phenomenon? The fact that only women were celebrated was easy enough to rule out, why, who else would be closest to you, their creator, other than women who can create life?

The clergy meanwhile set their own preparation, wondering if their prayers and offerings were enough for this auspicious day.

Meanwhile, a few acolytes had a surprise waiting in store for them.

Childe pouted from his seat, glaring at his fellow harbringer in disdain. Said harbringer gave him no mind, sipping her tea in peace, her poise relaxed and elegant. Indeed, the woman had no care, why would she care about him when their grace granted her such a wonderful gift, Childe sulkily thought while seeing the letter that appeared out of thin air in their meeting. It was quite a shock, but before any panic could set, Arlecchino had already opened the letter and to everyone's surprise chuckled.

When she was asked about the contents of the letter, she gave one simple answer.

Their grace.

It was all it took for the mood in the room to shift from one tense to clear envy and jealousy. When Arlecchino was asked what the letter contained, she replied with a smile and a simple one sentence.

"their grace wished me well."

Childe continued to sulk and changed his gaze to another occupant in the room that also received a gift. The girl was one of Arlecchino's and she did a very good job remaining stoic in the presence of so many high-ranking harbingers. He could see why their grace had chosen her an acolyte. The girl, Lynette, other than the excited swaying of her tail and tightly holding her letter, showed no emotions on her face, while her twin stood over her shoulders reading it as well.

If it was Childe he would be grinning from ear to ear, hmpf.

Maybe if he were a woman, would he become an acolyte as well? Now that he thought about it, you had a lot of women as acolytes, perhaps you preferred women?

Meanwhile in Mondstadt.

Jean read the letter that appeared on her office with a small smile, it was one of the rare non-work related letters she had gotten after taking over the role of acting grand master, and the encouraging yet kind words of their grace were quite comforting.

Her office was filled with laughter as other women of Monstadt came to share their letters, Amber was leaning over Noelle as they read through hers. Beidou: Well, it's quite simple. Y/N is a tough guy, one that's not afraid of taking the world on his shoulders if need be. He handles things in my absence, keeping the Crux’s land-based businesses afloat. While I don't take him out to sea that much, I'd rather have him well and good just in case, he's more than adequate at running the fleet. Me? Heh, he always has my back. Whenever I drink, he stays sober and makes sure I'm taken care of and back home safely and he keeps my bunk warm at night. He's one hell of a man in the sheets too- Why are you blushing, eh? Ganyu: My husband is the light of my life. Y/N treats me like a precious flower, tending to my needs and admiring me like the most beautiful thing in this world. I understood that I'm fighting for the people, not as some vague collective, but as individuals. I'm working and fighting for husbands such as Y/N, wives such as myself, and children like my own. I would give my life for my loved ones a hundred times over, and I can work twice as hard, knowing that I do so for the future of my family and every other family in Liyue. My husband opened my eyes, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

 

Lan Yan: Hey - that's no way to think about your beloved! Love is not inherently about being useful to each other, it's more about feelings and companionship. For example, I can't say that taking Y/N with me when picking rattan is making the process easier or faster; I could easily do it myself. But I invite him just to have him near. Hearing his voice comforts me, and to be honest, I've been by his side so long that I just feel… off without him. What if it stormed, or what if night caught me by surprise? He would be worried sick, I'm sure… Or what if I met a ghoul or a jiangshi while out? I m-mean, I have a Vision and everything, but is it wrong to feel safer around my big, strong husband?

Ningguang: I find it fairly obvious - he is to support me, to comfort me and to keep me company. If you would like a more personal take on the matter, I'd say that Y/N, for me, is a precious antique - surely the most valuable of all. His role is to be a feast for my eyes and my heart, nothing less, nothing more. I wouldn't want to drag him into my business, as that would be foolishly risking his life. His role is to satisfy my emotional and physical desires - after all, true fulfillment in these areas cannot be bought by Mora. 

Shenhe: Well, I learned that a husband's role is… Hm? You want me to answer in my own words? Oh, I see. Then… I used to think that a husband is meant to give his wife children. It is what I thought for most of my life, until I met Y/N. Y/N’s presence, his words and touch, cause a comforting warmth to spread through my chest. I learned that this is what love truly means. It's a sense of safety, but it is exciting all the same. I want him closer, but my usual dark visions do not appear in my mind. I do not feel the pressure of my soul straining against the red ropes. He calms me, he makes me feel safe. Now I understand the importance of having a soul to share one's life with. I understand now what the word ‘husband’ means. And I am… happy with Y/N by my side. 

Xinyan: I love Y/N because he honestly loves me for who I am. No matter if I rock and roll or feel in the mood for something softer, he'll jam out to it with me. And he's one hell of a guy, let me tell you! He's not afraid to go all in with me, no matter what. I thought about going on tour? He's there with me. I wanna save some Mora to upgrade my guitar? You guessed it, he pitches in as much as he can! I feel like stealing him and partying the night away? He never says no. That's the best man a gal can ask for!

Xianyun: Hmph. Are you implying One's choice of husband is poor? One will have you know that Y/N is of the finest sort - a body that would make the gods of old jealous and a mind that rivals One's own. It is the latter that’s of utmost importance - One doesn't see a husband as a mere nod-along, but as a man that is capable of challenging his wife's character and inciting her to grow. As such, don't be concerned by Y/N arguing my points at any point in time. It is what One desires, and loves about him the most. 

Xiangling: Ooh, where do I start! My hubby is the best sous chef in the world - he makes sure that the kitchen is stocked up, clean and well organised, letting me focus on my favourite part - cooking! Whenever I need to get ingredients, he takes my place in the restaurant. Sometimes we go out together to get some new ingredients and experiment a little. He's good at cutting up meat, hunting down that meat and defending me if any of my ingredients decides it wants to snack on me. And, when we camp for the night, his cuddles are just the best! Both my dad and Guoba approve of Y/N, so I suppose my taste in boys isn't that bad after all. 

Yelan: A woman my age, and in my line of work, can't be blamed for giving up and thinking she'll be alone until the end, right? That was the Yelan my husband met a few years back. And yet here I am today, a married woman. I knew I was missing out, but I just couldn't imagine how delightful it feels to have someone propping up my back - not for a mission, or a profession, but for life. My husband is my safety net. His arms are my hideout where I can rest from the stress of my daily work. I never want to lose him, which is why I have him stay low and always keep the eyes of my most trusted agent on him. Nobody is going to sneak up on my man - not while my heart still beats. 

Yun Jin: His use? Ah, I think I can answer that with a single word - adventure. I always dreamt of journeying across the outside world, and love is such a journey. Y/N is my companion on it, holding my hand whenever I feel scared or unsure, standing steadfast by my side. He lets me experience so many feelings and emotions I could only imagine before he took my heart… Hehe, stories of love I sing in opera don’t come close to experiencing a husband’s warmth yourself.  

Yanfei: Well, who else would listen to me ramble on about my passion other than my lovely Y/N? I swear, no matter how many versions or iterations of Liyue’s legal history I read out to him, he never gets sleepy! He even asks questions and actually remembers what each chapter was about, can you believe that?! Hehe, seriously now; he’s a great partner, both in life and in a discussion. Y/N makes some room in his schedule for visiting me at work every day of the week, and always brings some mean snacks with him. Oh - you have to try his crab cakes, they’ll blow your socks off! And who ever said that guys can’t cook, right?

Hu Tao:Hehe, I think you’re overthinking things. I’m positive she’d like whatever you did.

Wings fluttered around him; the family warmth of fluttering butterflies graced his presence while warm lips pressed against his. Shaky, but loving hands took the flowers before wrapping around his body. As Hu Tao leaned deeper into her answer, Chongyun could feel her tears kiss his face. When she was satisfied with the kiss, he saw the biggest and most beautiful eyes overflowing.

Hu Tao:Looks like I’ve rubbed off on you, hehe. Chongyun, this is…are you sure? Latern Rite was a good example of how crazy things can get with me.

Chongyun:Things have always been crazy with you. Hasn’t stopped me before. *holds her closer* You’re stuck with me.

His forehead pressed gently against her own, making her heart swell and lips lean in for another kiss. Chongyun:What’s so funny?

Hu Tao nodded eagerly before keeping her head low enough for him to place the ornament. She couldn’t help but go over to the water and admire the new addition to her cherished gift. Eyes began watering again and her giggles slipped out easily. The moment Chongyun joined her at the pond, Hu Tao jumped right back into his arms with fever joy that brought laughter to both of them.

Zhongli had been not too far from the Wangshu Inn when Keqing had run into him earlier that afternoon. The distinguished consultant had been flying a kite, of all things, something that had taken her by surprise and also delighted her in equal measure. The two of them had then fallen into surprisingly easy conversation, with Zhongli once more proving that he held vast knowledge of anything and everything and the Yuheng hanging on his every word. Few were as well-versed in the art of kites as her grandfather and speaking to Zhongli about them soon had her reminiscing nostalgically.

So distracted had she been that she hadn't noticed the way time had flown until the sun was sinking into the horizon and its orange-gold hue painted the sky of fire.

Save for Aether and Lumine as well as those who are casted as the pixies, they'll still be from their own nation with their own abilities.

Thinking back on it, their magic and the source of their power does have something to do with their element in Genshin itself. Ayaka and Barbara are the best example of this. Ayaka's powers stem from ice and snow in the Winx AU, much like how her canon counterpart has a Cryo Vision. Barbara's stem from music -- specifically vocalizations -- that take the form of water more often as a call back to her Hydro Vision.

Then you have Keqing, whose magical power I chose due to Liyue's geography. Thunder and lightning has been related to Keqing a lot and I think that works when you think about the mountains in Liyue and the clouds that linger around them. I combined those to make her Fairy of Weather.

Typically, I try to have the main source of their power and their magic be something that's connected to them in some way.

And then you have Aether and Lumine, which is a whole other post entirely.

Arlecchino is very impressed by your strength despite never outwardly expressing it. She always respected you for your present abilities and even more so for the fact that you didn't need an external source of power like a vision to become what you were today. Your presence next to her therefore always made her feel alot stronger.

She definitely requests you to train her children and speaks very highly of you to them in her own nonchalant way, something that often flusters you to the young ones' amusement. She also trusts you with them, knowing you'd keep them safe if they can't manage to do it themselves.

She enjoys partaking in duels with you whenever you two have the time for it. Arlecchino secretly enjoys seeing the progress you made, a deep sense of pride hidden behind her rather expressionless face when you beat her.

Xianyun is used to having people around her being alot stronger than circumstances should let them be (like Shenhe), which is why she treats you as an equal. You may not have the abilities that she possesses as an adepti, but your extremely high battle IQ often times leaves her alot more impressed than she'd like to admit.

She often asks your opinion on different projects, mainly as she finds herself nervous at the prospect of you not finding them as genius or amazing as she thinks they are. She also, albeit rarely, asks for help when she's stuck on a step on her creation process and doesn't know how to proceed.

Despite never admitting to it, she does enjoy watching you fight and train. The mortality that makes you yourself fades away in those moments, which makes it hard to believe that you were a human to begin with. It makes her admire you alot, something that Shenhe definitely exposes her for to you bluntly much to her embarrassment and your amusement.

》GANYU

Ganyu is extremely amazed by you and your abilities, especially when she sees you help plan everything out at Keqing or Ningguang's side. She, therefore, finds herself just zoning out whilst she watches you talk. She definitely got teased for that later, too.

With that said, you often help her with her own duties and refuse to let her overwork herself. Ganyu tries to keep you from doing so since she feels like you already do so much for everyone whilst she doesn't, but you never take no for an answer. Something she deep down does appreciate greatly during much harder days.

Your unrelenting strength, despite having no vision, makes her both astonished and insecure in a way. She often wonders why she can't be as great with not only her vision but also status as a adepti, but this usually fades away with your reassurance and protection. She's awfully proud to have you as her partner, even if she's too shy to ever tell you so herself.
