God has a plan to provide for your needs

"You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.” 1 Kings 17:4 NIV

Our God is a loving father who knows what His children need. By his divine abilities, he can sustain us in different situations. No environment or condition can be an obstacle to stop him from delivering your needs.

When drought struck Israel in the times of Elijah. God had prepared a plan to sustain his servant. The word of God says in Isaiah 65:13 "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed"

Don't be intimidated by what is happening around you. In the midst of that situation, God has a plan for you. Don't count yourself among those who are heading towards destruction. The Bible says, "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition;" Heb 10:39. With God on our side, we will overcome every challenge.

Let us see what God told Elijah during drought and famine in Israel "Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.” 1Kings 17:2-4

From these verses, I want you to know these three things:

1. God asked Elijah to leave where he was. "Leave here" When God tells you to move, obey him. Sometimes, God's plan can not be executed where you are. You can see this also in Gen 12:1-2

2. He also told him, "You will drink from the brook." A river here signifies supply abundance and life. God can not take you to dry places. Whenever he takes you, He will provide you with abundance and life.

3. Lastly - "The Ravens," the Bible says, "I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there." There is much to say about why God used ravens because according to the law, ravens are unclean birds, but God used them anyway. Today, just know this, Sometimes your help will not come from the people you expected. God can use anyone to help you.

Prayer: Father, help me to trust and obey everything you tell me because you have prepared a good plan for me. Teach me how to hear and follow the voice of your Holy Spirit. Amen

More of an experiment than anything else, the Fallout 76 Enclave intel officer outfit (Fallout 1st exclusive leather retexture/reskin of the original main quest's Enclave officer uniform) in... New Vegas of all things. So far everyone I've shown it to has been shocked that something resembling leather is possible in the engine? I thought it would need environment (cube) mapping but I guess not! The colored specular/reflection maps were originally an issue that I was going to do complex crap for, but turns out you can just lay it on top of the solid black metal pieces along with the ambient occlusion map to turn the albedo texture into a proper diffuse. There's gloves but that would require me to pose individual fingers and I did that twice and I don't remember how I did it without going insane.

    I can remember my mom making a big meal out of minor things as a child, I don’t see how she will make a meal out of this or that, but my mom will make a meal out of anything, she will take a little bit of this and a little bit of that and make something out of nothing, that was how my mother feed everyone she didn’t need a whole lot to do that, and I learned from her that very thing when I moved into my apartment, I learned that it didn’t take a whole lot to feed myself

   When you're young, and all you want is MacDonalds or to eat out because you don’t want what's in the cabinet, my mother surprised me each time, and she showed me that being content with what you have and what you have will go a long way if you depend on God.

     We can be in a place of nothingness; we can have no food, no money, nothing, and when we look at something with our human eyes, we see the impossibility, but when Jesus steps in,  Jesus can see potential in anything and anyone, he can make something that can’t, can, he can produce something out of nothing, because even when we are in the lowest place in our life, Jesus still sees potential in our down season, are you in a down season? Or you in a season of drought.

 Sometimes, we don’t see what God has for us until he opens our eyes and sees it. The disciples didn’t see what Jesus saw, and he saw people in need, people who needed spiritual and physical food. The Lord took care of people spiritually and physically throughout the Bible. Look at Elijah.

•1 King 17:5-6 So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.

•1 King 19:7 And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

 We might think God doesn’t care about the small things or what we eat or drink, but the bible tells us that he does.

  Matthew 6:25-26, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

 It says here that we are more valuable than a bird or other creeping things , and we are because we are made in his likeness, so when we are without, don’t ever think he doesn’t care because he does; he might not provide the way you see fit or the way we want it, but he will provide for us,

  Verse 5-6 He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.” 6 And he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people, and they set them before the crowd.

    We must always give thanks to God, whether it's big or small. They only had seven loaves and a few fish. How was that small amount going to feed four thousand people?? Nothing is impossible for Jesus; it is impossible for us, for man it will always be, but when we trust in God, when we rely on God, nothing is impossible, and when we pray in our season of drought, or any season we must have faith he will see us through.

     I have never seen Jesus fail when his children were in need; you might feel he failed you. Still, he hasn’t. Every day we wake up, we can give him glory. Every day, we have air to breathe we can give him glory , every time we put our forks up to our mouths to eat, or whatever it is. We can praise him because he never leaves us or forsakes us, so if you are in a season of being without or not having, don’t doubt God; his timing doesn’t look like our timing. Wait on him and watch him move.

  Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

  The Holy Spirit wants us to look at ourselves and be content with what we have; a lot of us don’t see any possibility with some things because we are too busy grumbling, complaining about something not being big enough or something not being what we wanted ,instead of looking at the possibilities this one thing can do for us. A lot of times, we are given so little to see what we will do, whether we will complain or make it do.

 *** Today, we learn that sometimes we can have the needed things, and we still complain and say I don’t have. Still, we do; sometimes Jesus is trying to show us how to be content and how to be grateful for what he’s doing, and sometimes we are so filled with anxiety and looking at others' lives that we don’t see what he has done in our life we just see our empty hands.

  We have to start looking at our own basket or the life that’s in front of us and say it’s ENOUGH or that this will be enough, or look at the little and say, I know God will make it do a lot of us, need to show we are appreciative of the things we have and hold on to God because as long as we are picking and complaint we are always going not to have what we need. Ask God to give you a content spirit. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

Heavenly Father, we thank you for today's life health and strength . Lord, help us to be content; help us to look over what we don’t have and see what you have given us. Lord, continue to give us peace and mercy in our lives and help us hold onto you through our trials. Lord, help us to change each day to be these content righteous people of you, not seeking the things of this world but seeking you alone; we pray for wisdom and knowledge so that we can learn your word and remain free in you in Jesus' name, amen.
