he's not so sure what he's done now that's gotten Han calling him an idiot. then again, it isn't like it takes much- Han has a tendency to name call him more often than not, even if it's usually "kid". still, the affection isn't lost on Luke as he hears it in his voice, looking up at him with his head tilted to the side and a smile so vibrant it could put the stars to shame.

"i'm your idiot now, am i ? funny, i don't think you've ever called me yours before." it's meant to be a quip back, but it ends up smothered in fluff as he flutters his eyelashes in Han's direction. it's pretty overdramatic and over the top, but he simply can't help himself. Han has gone and made his stomach do silly things, his chest squeezing at the words he'd spoken moments ago. he carefully takes a few steps forward until he's just about chest to chest with Han. he tilts his head upwards to look at him, feeling his breath get caught in his throat. he's being really straight forward right now- really brave, something he doesn't really do when it comes to Han.

"i didn't realize you liked me that much," he says, coming out as a tease. they're alone right now- just the two of them in the falcon, in the bay of the ship, as Chewie is down doing some repairs. they were supposed to be helping, but Luke had gotten stupid and forgot what he was looking for- that's why Han had called him an idiot, he's pretty sure, and he's still not sure what he was even looking for, because the falcon is confusing as all heck, so he can be excused for not knowing what part he was looking for. still, being called Han's does something funny inside of him, something he simply can't avoid.

he grabs him by the shoulders and pulls him down to kiss him, a quick, chaste little peck on the lips, before he's pulling away and running away like the coward that he is. he might be brave, he might even be the last jedi, but when it comes to Han, he's an absolute coward, the best of them even.

**spoilers*** So just finished watching the #movie #SoloAStarWarsStory. Pretty solid film. There were some ridiculous moments but the characters were also in their youth and we all do dumb things at those ages. I fully understand why #Chewbacca hates binders (see episode IV). Worst part about the whole #film for me was #L3 #LandoCalrissian’s #droid and I didn’t even hate her (yes, her, they called it a her in the film get over it). They gave her a black accent, made her walk bow legged and spouted her hatred of enslavement all throughout the movie. Yes I know, slavery and racism (bars don’t serve droids) is bad. And it wasn’t enough that no one even brought up Lando’s race (Star Wars always put race aside with organic entities and instead shifted it to droids from the beginning). I loved the Droid liberation at the mines, I loved L3 through all of that. But that droid was way too stereotypical in general and I am amazed snowflakes didn’t lash out about it. She didn’t feel relevant until the mines. Also that was cool they uploaded her into the ship.
