John grimaced as he tied his bandana tight around his neck, the Crimson Smile that had been cut into his flesh having failed to bleed him dry before he could seal the wounds tight with whatever he had on hand, the crimson bandana soon soaking in his blood as he began to slowly make his way back to camp after a traitor had cut his throat and tried to leave him for dead, the man's corpse now lying on the ground with his skull broken and smashed from where the Old Wolf had shoved his thumbs into the man's eyes and pulled...

Kharnak the Broken: "Once a Loyal servant of the Imperium, he defected to Chaos after the Mad Wolves had assassinated his former Liege lord due to the man attempting to Rebel against the Imperium, now he wants revenge against the Wolves but especially against the 6th and their 'Old Wolf' who had been the one who had done the deed... he had already killed the Agent of the Old Wolf who had snuck in the Assassin."

He makes heavy use of 'tame' possessed units, their handlers doing their best to keep their 'hounds' in their armor they had once worn in their past before they were possessed. He also has the service of a Chaos Knight, the pilot once having been a member of the family who had betrayed the Du Saloc's and now wished for Vengeance against John for the cruel execution method he had undertaken against his family and the fact he is now a deposed Noble who has no 'serfs' to serve him as he is used to.

Kharnak Valley, it's a Nomad valley in the south east of Zalung Karpo Pass of Indus Range of Himalaya which comes under Hemis High Altitude National Park, famous for Snow Leopard. 400 years ago this valley was full of human settlement, now only nomads stay here in small small temporary houses made form Rocks and Leather of dead Sheep. The Kharnak Settlement use to have a Gompa which also has been shifted to Datt Settlement. Still its has the 400 years of Monastery and the paintings. Khi tôi nói với bác sĩ của tôi, tôi nghĩ rằng tôi bị lạc nội mạc tử cung, ông nói: "Ngừng ngay việc hỏi bác sĩ google đi".

Tôi luôn coi mình là người có sức khỏe tương đối tốt. Tôi luôn đi kiểm tra sức khỏe hàng năm, duy trì chế độ ăn uống lành mạnh và cố gắng tập thể dục. Nhìn chung, tôi rất vui khi được kết luận hoàn toàn bình thường. Mặc dù tôi có chu kì kinh nguyệt nặng nề và kéo dài, cùng với chứng chuột rút tồi tệ, nhưng mẹ tôi cũng vậy, con gái tôi cũng vậy nên tôi nghĩ đó là bình thường.

Lina Kharnak đã kể lại câu chuyện bác sĩ chẩn đoán mình sai ra sao.

Năm 2011, sau hai lần mang thai khỏe mạnh trước đó, tôi bị sẩy thai khi mang bầu 4 tháng. Ngay sau đó, tôi bắt đầu bị đau lưng và chân nghiêm trọng. Lúc đầu, tôi đổ lỗi cho việc mình đang già đi hoặc do thực tế là tôi đã ngồi rất nhiều trong ngày (do đặc thù công việc là một luật sư). Khi cơn đau không biến mất, tôi nghĩ có vẻ như đó là do đau thần kinh tọa hoặc dây thần kinh bị chèn ép. Sau khi kiểm tra vùng chậu và siêu âm bình thường, bác sĩ của tôi cũng cho là như vậy. Tôi cũng đã tham khảo ý kiến của những người bị bệnh này.

Cơn đau ngày càng tồi tệ

Tôi đã tham gia các lớp vật lý trị liệu và Pilates, nhưng cơn đau không bao giờ hết hẳn. Mãi đến năm 2014 tôi mới nhận ra rằng nó trở nên tồi tệ hơn trong và sau những ngày tôi có kinh nguyệt. Tôi cũng bắt đầu bị các triệu chứng khác như nhiễm trùng đường tiết niệu thường xuyên, táo bón và huyết áp cao. Ngay cả chuyện tình dục cũng trở nên đau đớn. Tôi cảm thấy rất bối rối. Nếu không có gì bất thường xuất hiện trong các kì kiểm tra và xét nghiệm, vậy thì điều gì đã gây ra cơn đau của tôi?

Bác sĩ khuyên tôi nên tham khảo ý kiến các bác sĩ chuyên về các vấn đề tử cung nhưng tôi đã không làm như vậy ngay lập tức. Tôi không thể tưởng tượng rằng có điều gì xấu xảy đến với tôi. Thêm vào đó, đến thời điểm này, tôi đã quen với việc 2 tuần đau, 2 tuần không đau. Phải đến 14 tháng sau tôi mới đến gặp bác sĩ chuyên khoa. Nhìn lại, đó là một sai lầm rất lớn của tôi.

Lina Kharnak dần quen với cuộc sống quen với việc 2 tuần đau, 2 tuần không đau.

"Ngừng ngay việc nghe theo bác sĩ google"

Vào năm 2015, trong khi nghiên cứu các triệu chứng của mình trên internet, tôi thấy có liên quan đến lạc nội mạc tử cung - các mô trong tử cung phát triển bên ngoài tử cung. Dường như nó chính là nguyên nhân gây ra các triệu chứng của tôi, nhưng cả 2 chuyên gia mà tôi gặp năm đó đều không đề cập đến nó, giống như kiểu họ đang chọc tức tôi. Thậm chí, trên thực tế, một trong những bác sĩ đã nói với tôi rằng hãy dừng việc nghe theo bác sĩ google lại ngay.

Mặc dù cả 2 bác sĩ đều nói rằng họ có thể điều trị các triệu chứng của tôi bằng nhiều loại thuốc khác nhau. Tôi đã thử dùng thuốc tránh thai mà họ đã gợi ý nhưng rồi đã phải dừng lại vì nó khiến tôi nôn nao suốt và thường xuyên bị đau đầu.

Tôi nhớ, vào một ngày thứ 2 trong tháng Tám nóng bức, ra khỏi văn phòng, tôi đã phải đi bộ qua vài tòa nhà đến ga xe lửa, và trong khi đi bộ, tôi đã nghĩ mình sẽ không đến gặp 2 vị bác sĩ kia nữa bởi họ không hề nghe mình. Tôi sẽ đối phó với cuộc sống 2 tuần đau, 2 tuần không đau của mình cho đến khi mãn kinh.

Nhưng cơn đau ngày càng trở nên tồi tệ hơn. Vào năm 2017, bác sĩ sản phụ khoa đề nghị tôi nên siêu âm lại sau khi biết tôi đã bực tức như thế nào. Khi khuôn mặt của cô ấy chuyển sang cảm giác rất tệ cũng là lúc tôi phát hiện ra rằng cô ấy không thể tìm thấy buồng trứng trái của tôi trên hình ảnh đâu.

Một siêu âm bụng đã cũng như chụp CT nhanh chóng được thực hiện. Kết quả cho thấy tôi có một tình trạng gọi là hydronephrosis (sưng thận, do dự trữ nước tiểu). Nó nghiêm trọng đến mức thận của tôi đã ngừng hoạt động. Tôi đã rất ngạc nhiên. Buồn bã. Sợ hãi. Và tôi không biết phải làm gì, vì các bác sĩ cũng không biết nguyên nhân.

Tôi đã quay lại tìm kiếm thông tin trên mạng thì đọc được trường hợp một người phụ nữ mô tả thận của mình bị ảnh hưởng như thế nào do lạc nội mạc tử cung. Tôi biết có khi tôi cũng có bệnh đó. Tôi bắt đầu tìm kiếm một chuyên gia lạc nội mạc tử cung cho mình.

Một trong những bác sĩ đã nói với Lina Kharnak rằng hãy dừng việc nghe theo bác sĩ google lại ngay.

Chẩn đoán đúng và điều trị kịp thời

Ba tháng sau, tôi gặp tiến sĩ Tamer Seckin, một bác sĩ phẫu thuật nội soi phụ khoa ở New York. Sau khi dành thời gian để đọc tất cả các bệnh án của tôi, anh ấy đã rất kinh hoàng khi không ai phát hiện ra các triệu chứng lạc nội mạc tử cung cổ điển, chẳng hạn như đau lưng và đau khi quan hệ.

Bên cạnh lạc nội mạc tử cung, tôi đã bị adenomyosis (đó là khi niêm mạc tử cung phát triển thành cơ tử cung). Bác sĩ Seckin cũng chẩn đoán tôi bị vỡ xương chậu - biến chứng nặng của lạc nội mạc tử cung khiến các cơ quan vùng chậu của tôi dính vào xương.Tôi đã phải phẫu thuật cắt bỏ tử cung, buồng trứng và ống dẫn trứng.

Các triệu chứng lạc nội mạc tử cung cổ điển là đau lưng và đau khi quan hệ.

Cuộc phẫu thuật kéo dài 9 giờ đồng hồ. Ngoài bác sĩ Seckin tham gia phẫu thuật còn có bác sĩ tiết niệu và chuyên khoa đại trực tràng. Trong quá trình phẫu thuật, họ phát hiện ra rằng thận của tôi đã bị nhiễm trùng và sưng to gấp 4 lần kích thước bình thường của nó. Họ không có lựa chọn nào khác ngoài việc lấy nó ra.

Không ai cảm thấy tuyệt vời sau ca phẫu thuật như thế này, nhưng tôi thì có. Tôi thực sự thấy hạnh phúc. Cơn đau đã biến mất. Tôi nhớ rất rõ việc ngồi trong phòng chờ trước khi phẫu thuật, ký giấy tờ và không thể đặt vật nặng lên phía chân trái vì cơn đau dữ dội bắn xuống chân tôi. Sau cuộc phẫu thuật, tôi đau đớn và lảo đảo, nhưng cơn đau bên trái cơ thể tôi đã biến mất.

Cuối cùng, sau 3 tháng nghỉ ngơi, tôi đã có lại được sự bình yên về tinh thần. Sau 7 năm sống trong đau đớn, bây giờ, tôi cảm thấy mình được sống lại một lần nữa.

As a Atlanta wedding photographer this year has been a year many blessings! Yes I am going to sound biased but I think we have worked for some of the best couples in Atlanta! It has been an honor to be a small part of their wedding day and captures the candid moments that document their wedding, family and friends. We want to capture their big day with photos they can share with family and friends for years to come. This week’s blog we look back at some of the highlights that made 2019!

We have shot at historic venues, vineyards, converted warehouses, churches, synagogues and hotels through out the metro Atlanta area. As a wedding photographer it is so cool to shoot at so many places. We get to find out about all the great photo locations in the city and it seems like we are always finding something new. We get to shoot as some of the most prestigious event venues in the area. Each venue has it’s own personality. We love the historic venues the best. The have that classic southern charm that Atlanta weddings are known for.

We love our bride and grooms and share their love of Atlanta land marks! There are many classic wedding venues through out the city when you take the time to explore. The wedding photo above was shot at Georgian Terrace in the heart the city. The Georgian Terrace has played host to some of the city’s most glamorous events since its opening in 1911. Once you explore what sets us apart, including three stunning ballrooms and world-class dining, you’ll understand why generations of Atlantans have made The Georgian Terrace the trusted backdrop for their most cherished celebrations. It is located across the street from the Fox Theater where we also did a wedding there this year! We love the Fox Theater! When you think of Atlanta landmarks you think of the Fox. The Fox was originally conceived as a home for Atlanta’s Shriners organization. To create a headquarters befitting the group’s prominent social status, the Shriners looked to the ancient temples of the Far East to inspire a mosque-style structure befitting their stature. Storied architectural gems like the Alhambra in Spain and Egypt’s Temple of Kharnak heavily influenced the building’s elaborate and intensely ornate design. Bursting with soaring domes, minarets and sweeping archways, the exterior of the building gave way to stunning gold leaf details, sumptuous textiles and exquisite trompe l’oeil art (an art technique that uses realistic imagery to create optical illusions) inside.

here is the Payne Corley house located outside of Atlanta. It is owned their owners Krista and Micheal Ganley are just good people! They treat you like family and that is the best you can do. The building now known as the Payne-Corley House was built between 1870 and 1873 by David Little when Duluth was still known as “Howell’s Crossing.” Built as a farmhouse, the home received a date placard in 1873, the same year that the city took on its current name of Duluth, most likely indicating the year that the Little family made it their permanent home. Now it is the home one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Atlanta. Below are the groomsmen getting ready for the wedding at the Payne Corley house!

I would like to highlight Naylor Hall as one of our favorite venues this year. We have done several weddings there and have loved them all. We have had the privilege to have some great bride and grooms who decided on Atlanta Artistic Weddings to shot their wedding at Naylor Hall. Not only is Naylor Hall a beautiful venue but their staff are real pros! Sunny has been doing weddings for years and knows the ins and outs of a wedding like the back of her hand. Her right hand person is Abby also a seasoned veteran and a great person to work with on your wedding day.

When we talk about Atlanta landmarks and historic wedding venues we have to mention Callanwolde fine arts center. The front facade of the two and one-half story building has medieval half-timbered rhythmical design across the upper stories, crenellated bays and Tudor arches, as well as strapwork ornament, yet all of these elements of Tudor-Gothic design have been subjected to a simplicity or severity of design that is a uniquely 20th century approach to the use of these traditional design motifs.

Callanwolde has served as a filming location for several Hollywood films, including “Sharkey’s Machine,” starring Burt Reynolds, and “Bear,” a feature film about the life of legendary football coach Bear Bryant. In 2003, Callanwolde served as the backdrop for several scenes used in the feature film “Stroke of Genius, the Bobby Jones Story,” starring Jim Caviezel. Support to Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is provided through a grant appropriated by the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners, in part by DeKalb County Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs, and in part by the Georgia Council for the Arts through appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly. One more big shout out for this year goes to all the people who have helped me. I am surrounded by a lot of talented and supportive team. We have Sarah who has shot close to 60 weddings with me. She brings her own style of photography to each wedding. I always say that it is not whether Sarah or I get the best shot but that the client gets the best shot!

There is Lizzie our editor. She is one of the smartest and talented people I know. She not only is the one that edits your weddings that make you look good she is the one you can thank for getting that quick turn around on the photos that Atlanta Artistic Weddings is known for.

Most importantly I want to thank my family. With out them I do not know what I would do. My wife has been very supportive through our my career as a professional photographer. Bác sĩ khuyên tôi nên tham khảo ý kiến các bác sĩ chuyên về các vấn đề tử cung nhưng tôi đã không làm như vậy ngay lập tức. Tôi không thể tưởng tượng rằng có điều gì xấu xảy đến với tôi. Chẩn đoán đúng và điều trị kịp thời

Ba tháng sau, tôi gặp tiến sĩ Tamer Seckin, một bác sĩ phẫu thuật nội soi phụ khoa ở New York. Sau khi dành thời gian để đọc tất cả các bệnh án của tôi, anh ấy đã rất kinh hoàng khi không ai phát hiện ra các triệu chứng lạc nội mạc tử cung cổ điển, chẳng hạn như đau lưng và đau khi quan hệ.

Bên cạnh lạc nội mạc tử cung, tôi đã bị adenomyosis (đó là khi niêm mạc tử cung phát triển thành cơ tử cung). Không ai cảm thấy tuyệt vời sau ca phẫu thuật như thế này, nhưng tôi thì có. Tôi thực sự thấy hạnh phúc. Cơn đau đã biến mất. Tôi nhớ rất rõ việc ngồi trong phòng chờ trước khi phẫu thuật, ký giấy tờ và không thể đặt vật nặng lên phía chân trái vì cơn đau dữ dội bắn xuống chân tôi. Sau cuộc phẫu thuật, tôi đau đớn và lảo đảo, nhưng cơn đau bên trái cơ thể tôi đã biến mất.

Cuối cùng, sau 3 tháng nghỉ ngơi, tôi đã có lại được sự bình yên về tinh thần. Sau 7 năm sống trong đau đớn, bây giờ, tôi cảm thấy mình được sống lại một lần nữa.
