Satoshi and Kidd Thunder would've been a part of the kombat kids smh. They had the potential to become full-fledged characters in the story. To me they were the og kombat kids (Frost probably counts too) before the mkx kombat kids came along. Can you imagine the new era kombat kids would consist of Frost, Satoshi and Kidd Thunder??
Giiirl!!! The potential this Kombat Kids Team carry is OFF THE CHARTS!
I've got a plenty of ideas on how this team would come to be in both the New Era and the Previous Timeline, so buckle up!!
New Era first:
Frost:
I strongly believe New Era!Frost will be basically Noob Saibot and Sektor’s kid, and they will raise her to be the next Sub-Zero!
@mikka-minns and I had the idea that if an Frost raised by a good guy turns out evil, a Frost raised by bad guys would turn out good (cause she likes to contradict her parents no matter the universe, lmao) so eventually Sub-Zero!Frost will join Kuai Liang's Shirai Ryu and there she will meet her teammates!
Satoshi Hasashi:
Following MK1 logic, Satoshi would still be related to either Harumi or Hanzo but not as their son.
Harumi would make some sense, as Hanzo's family is dead, but consider the scenario:
We don't know how Hanzo became an orphan in the New Era, but if it was through a massacre, it would be interesting if he got to save his baby brother, Satoshi, the same way Harumi saved her daughter in the MK2021 movie.
Hanzo would initially think he failed in saving him, only to find out he succeeded and now he's got his brother back with him in the Shirai Ryu!🥹
Deviating a bit from canon, you know MK1 Hanzo is a Netherrealmer to me, so imagine the same history, but settled in Netherrealm and now Satoshi is a Hellborn and a Pyromancer like his big brother!
Both Hanzo and Satoshi are trained to be Shirai Ryu and Kuai helps them both master their Hellfire!
Kidd Thunder:
Ok, I left Kidd Thunder for last cause I'm about to go wild!
You know how Raiden has a sister in the New Era and we all collectively assumed it would be genderbent Fujin? Hear me out:
Kidd Thunder is Raiden's sister!
I know Raiden and Fujin are the OG siblings and they are referencing the Japanese Mythology, BUT we can't hardly say the same about New Era Raiden. He is a regular dude who's powers come from an amulet! He is not the Thunder God Raijin or even our Thunder God Raiden. He's pretty much a new character with his own new lore. So here's an idea:
We know Raiden was afraid of being corrupted by his power and/or not being able to control all that power, so a solution he found was to share his power!
With the help of Liu Kang, he divided the Amulet in two and the power was split in two. The owners of the two halves would have to be on the same side and share their ideals, otherwise the Amulet wouldn't work.
Raiden gave the other half to his younger sister, and she was thrilled with the opportunity to leave Fengjian and become a hero!
She's heavily into superhero comics, so when she gets her powers she starts calling herself Kidd Thunder! Raiden thinks it's corny and unnecessary, but she loves it and everyone slowly grows fond to it so eventually Raiden gives in (Johnny is also heavily encouraging of her theatrics, and that's why he's her favourite, he gets her🤭)
Now to the Previous Timeline:
Satoshi Hasashi:
Imagine a world where Hanzo did keep his promise to Raiden and spared Bi-Han’s life, and in return, Raiden kept his end of the deal and brought the Shirai Ryu back!
Satoshi's grandparents were the Grandmasters of the Shirai Ryu, so the titles would be passed down to Harumi and Hanzo sooner or later, but as the two of them were the ones who took the reins and resettled the clan back to it's former glory, Harumi's parents decided they would take over sooner!
Satoshi's parents became Grandmasters Hummingbird and Scorpion and now it seemed expectations on him only increased! After all, he is the son of the clan's greatest warriors, the clan's saviours and leaders!
So Satoshi pushed himself to be the best! He learned how to emulate his father's Pyromancy through his mother's potions and became his generation's greatest warrior: the Firebird!
Frost:
Hanzo's decision didn't just affect his future, but also the fates of the entire Sub-Zero Family!
Since Kuai wouldn't have to worry about avenging Bi-Han, he could focus on the threat growing in his very backyard: The Cyber Initiative!
From within, he convinced not only his twin, Lisa, to runaway with him but also his adoptive siblings Tomas and Cyrax!
They found Bi-Han after the tournament and together they decided they would defeated Oniro and Sektor and reform the Lin Kuei!
Of course that wouldn't be an easy task and when Hanzo and Harumi heard of their situation, they offered shelter and resources! The siblings stayed in their home for a long time, but that was hardly a problem as they all had time to grow closer... some of them even closer, lol!
In gratitude, the siblings promised that once the Lin Kuei was theirs they would start an alliance with the Shirai Ryu!
Said and done, Kuai, Lisa and Bi-Han became Grandmasters and thus the most legendary clans of Earthrealm formed an alliance!
But the focus is not on the Grandmasters Subzero, but on their star student: Frost!
They found her when they were dismantling a Black Dragon fortress! She fought in their rings for the evil clan's amusement. She was extremely talented, and all siblings agreed all that talent was being wasted on that ring.
They set her free and brought her to the Lin Kuei, always reaffirming that she was free and could leave whenever she wanted but, if she choose to stay they would treat her like a person and help her properly develop her Cryomancy. She agreed!
With the alliance of the Shirai Ryu and the Lin Kuei officially settled, Frost and Satoshi finally met!
Kidd Thunder:
I'll keep Kidd Thunder as a girl cause I really liked the concept, but she has a very different origin here:
Unlike her New Era counterpart, this Kidd Thunder isn't a human, she's Lord Raiden himself! Well, a part of him!
Raiden wanted to learn what was like to be a human, but didn't want to risk leave Earthrealm vulnerable with his own vulnerability, so instead, he separated a part of his own soul and created a human being that would be able to fully experience... well, humanity!
Raiden used to simply call her "Raiden" as she is a part of himself, but his champions explained though she is a part of him, she's still her own individual and therefore should have her own name! Raiden understood and told her to pick a name and she chose Kidd Thunder!
She grew up with the Shaolin and spend most her childhood among Earthrealm's champions!
Years later, the Special Forces assembled a team of young warriors, the next Champions of Earthrealm, Kidd Thunder was the first to be called and there she finally met her teammates, Frost and Firebird!
I shamelessly tie-up this with my Divorced!Hanrumi AU cause I really liked that AU and wanted to develop on it!
Anyways! Here's another huge rambling! Hope you like this one!💕
Also, did you like girly Kidd Thunder? If anyone has ideas for names for her, I'd love to hear!👀🩵

coping with crippling depression by making a Mortal Kombat fanfiction where Shang Tsung is a morally dubious good guy.
my boyfriend loves the idea so much he's using the free monthly art he gets from an artist he funds to make fanart.
characters will include:
Lin Quei Ninja, Thunder, the daughter of Fujin and favorite niece of Raiden.
Street Punk Mileena, the abandoned bastard child of an Edenian royal and a Tarkatan peasant. Is suprisingly wise cuz she has a much longer lifespan than humans and has been around the block plenty, refuses to clarify age.
Johnny Cage, a former Hollywood actor who got cancelled for nearly killing his opponent during filming of a kung fu movie. Now makes illegal underground action movies with the Black Dragon clan, offering life changing amounts of money to anyone willing enough to take him on in a fight for his flicks.
and Shang Tsung, a young sorcerer who flunked out of his magic academy, learned to harness the power of souls, and intends to use this power to save his sister from the Neatherrealm, as well as get revenge on fellow sorcerer Quan Chi for putting her there.
art to follow, i'll keep ya posted.

(x)
There was laughter in the Sky Temple.
This in itself was not unusual. Humans who were welcomed to the temple often brought with them their joy and cheer. Bo Rai Cho rarely passed up the opportunity to spread mirth during his visits. Fujin himself was more carefree by nature, open to wonder and awe where most of his fellow deities were reserved.
This laughter was different. It was jarring to hear, both familiar and foreign at once. The airy yet staccato sound echoed off what should have been empty halls. Sharp and high pitched, it rolled through temple, traveling from room to room, making it difficult to pin down the source. It was only when it stopped, if only for a moment, that Fujin realized where he had heard it before.
That was Raiden’s laugh.
At least it used to be. The tone was light, more akin to a child’s, but it was otherwise identical to the sounds Fujin thought long lost. He hadn't heard such frivolity from his brother in millennia. Not since… Well. There was a reason that previous champions were rarely spoken of. To hear it again now, absolutely unprompted, should have been a momentous occasion, but it was instead unnerving.
Raiden wasn’t at the temple. He had gone to the Wu Shi Academy for business with the Order of Light and had yet to return. Even if he were to return without being seen, the air carried none of the static that heralded his presence. Beyond that, what would there be to laugh about so freely, given recent events? He had retreated even further into his shell of stoicism than Fujin had seen before.
Following the sound was difficult. Each time he got close, the laughter would fade out before echoing from another part of the temple entirely. The chase quickly turned from puzzling to frustrating, his winds whipping into a frenzy to mirror his mood. Whoever, whatever this was was toying with him. When he finally caught sight of something disappearing around a corner, only for it to be gone when he reached it, he had had enough.
Whatever was there was not mortal. That simple fact allowed Fujin the freedom to dissolve his physical form into pure divine winds without concern. Traversing the temple at unnatural speed, he cleared floor after floor, able to completely disperse the remnants of lingering echoes. It soon became apparent there was only one section remaining—the Jinsei Chamber.
Upon arriving at the chamber, Fujin condensed his winds back into his body. What he saw before him was not the threat he had imagined. Standing in front of the door was, what at least appeared to be, a child in simple white robes and a familiar oversized hat. His face was entirely in shadow, but his eyes glowed bright blue and crackled with electricity. The boy grinned mischievously, having finally been caught, before disappearing in a flash of lightning. “Again!”

Okay, I'mma do it, if nothing else, some of these will be fun to see who falls into the extremes better than others
Angel: Lawful Good, the arbiter of good and order, and the natural antithesis to Evil. Do right, right, give hope, and administer justice. Stands by its ideals to create a better world, whether that's by shield or by sword.
Tumblr media
The best fit is, perhaps on the nose, Larissa. With a truly good heart despite her grumblings, she knows she has a responsibility and sees it through, no matter what it may cost her. Unending kindness for those in need of her shield, and unwavering determination to mete out her judgment against those who would do them harm. An Angel of Mercy for the innocent, an Angel of Justice for the wicked.
Gold Dragon: Neutral Good, a wise and benevolent figure, the embodiment of mercy and second chances who sees the potential for Good in all. Nobody is beyond redemption, so long as they're willing to improve. But those who refuse to take the hand extended will instead meet claw and flame.
Tumblr media
Cadence works best here, as the girl's unending love for those who would stand by her side has given her the ability to work with Servants few others, if anyone else, could hope to handle. She is boundlessly forgiving and happy to walk beside those who've even tried to kill her in the past, so long as they're willing to do so. Compassion unending, but she will still fight tooth and nail for what she believes in, and battle those who stand in her way, even if it breaks her heart in two.
Azata: Chaotic Good, the embodiment of freedom and free will, who despises slavery, imprisonment, and choices made for others. Kindness and chaos in equal measure, everyone deserves a chance to make their lives better by their own hand, even if they need the occasional push to keep on the right path.
Tumblr media
Blanche is the truest embodiment of the Azata here, as a free spirit dedicated to the well-being of others, human and Pokemon alike. She lives freely, with a whimsy and joy that few others can match despite her harrowed background, but still offers wisdom and guidance to those in need when it's needed. Until then, she's all too happy to merely bring smiles to others and give them the motivation and drive to improve their own lot.
Aeon: Lawful Neutral, representing stability, order, and law at its most impartial, where everything has its place to contribute to the greater whole. Individuality is a weakness that only breaks the careful system that brings harmony, so to preserve that harmony, adherence to order is what's required.
Tumblr media
Andrea is the best fit for the Aeon, as she keeps to her lane, uses her resurrective immortality as a part of her detective work rather than try to go beyond what she's reasonably capable of, and brings criminals to justice not because it's what's right, but because it's her role. Though acerbic and sarcastic, Andrea nonetheless abides by the law whenever she can, and works closely alongside the police in service of it, at times.
Trickster: Chaotic Neutral, complete and utter freedom, with only one thing on the mind: fun. Selfish, yet not destructive; whimsical, yet not kind, one's own happiness and enjoyment is the name of the game, and the game is rigged in their favor. Because seeing the other players flail about uselessly is fun in its own right.
Tumblr media
Ciel works best as the Trickster, given her only goal is simply to improve. She enjoys testing herself, damn who or what she has to do to find that opportunity, completely uncaring if she frustrates those around her with her rampant desire to fight and grow. While she never devolves into purposefully obstinate, she is still inherently selfish; she's still a demon, just about as kind as a demon can naturally be - a problem not on purpose, but by pure accident.
Devil: Lawful Evil, tyranny and hunger for power at its purest and most dominating, who exploits order and law for its own benefit. Nothing else matters but exploiting those below you, often making them offer it up themselves through deceit and trickery - they can hardly complain if they brought about your rise to power themselves, can they?
Tumblr media
Lucrezia is a natural fit for Devil, as her mafia organization is very hierarchal and orderly in its function. Each gear working in tandem to create a machine that exploits others and serves the greater purpose of the Famiglia - and with Lucrezia at its head, she reaps the most rewards. She dominates with terrifying charisma and blood-chilling, unrestrained cruelty if the need for it arises. Fall into line under her, or be left a blood smear on the pavement.
Lich: Neutral Evil, the gluttony to Devil's greed, and an unending thirst for knowledge, life, and power, methods be damned. Order and chaos have their uses both, so long as they both serve the means of getting more. More of everything, anything that makes life worth living, that elevates one to ever-greater heights. Morality is but a chain holding one down from their true potential.
Tumblr media
Hedwig best suits the Lich in her constant quest to prove herself the most superior mind on the planet. Conqueror and scientist alike, she toils away to dominate, to sate her ego, and place herself above all other life on the planet to soothe her wounded pride. There is little she won't do to take her rightful place at the top of humanity, even if she must ultimately wipe them all out. They can only be their best under her, and if they won't kneel before her, she will destroy them.
Demon: Chaotic Evil, rage and passion walking, the wrath to the Devil and Lich's own sins of greed and gluttony, all that matters is sheer, unfettered passion. Letting one's impulses guide them, so that they can enjoy what breaks free from the cage of restraint. There is no greater purpose to these destructive whims, just the ever so addictive quality of letting loose and basking in the metaphorical afterglow.
Tumblr media
Kiku, while not wrathful, is guided purely by her passions and her inner nature as a being of Desire. She uses and abuses others - particularly humans - to sate this desire of hers, even as she tries in a futile effort to understand them. She hurts and tramples over others without regard to their feelings or health, unregretful of the lives she's crushed in an effort to sate her passions.
Legend: No alignment, the embodiment of pure potential, truly unrestrained by morality and ego, and a force of nature in physical shape in all but name. To be who you are, true to yourself, and rise above your limits, to accomplish your goals and realize your destiny. No mere myth, but a true legend.
Tumblr media
Yuko best fits the Legend - she is no historical figure with mystical powers, no magical or mutated being with supernatural powers, no human-shaped creature from beyond humanity. She is a human girl, who learned of her ancestor's deeds, and so inspired, decided to become the best she could be to live up to his legacy. With but her training and a reverse-bladed katana in hand, she has risen above much of humanity, becoming a paragon of mankind without any outside help.
And lastly...
Swarm: Pure Chaotic Evil, an unending hunger for destruction, complete and absolute nihilism. Hating all and hated by all in return, there is no more safe haven for anyone, as disdain for life in all its forms must see every last spark of light snuffed from existence. Everything must die, everything must be consumed, for no other reason than life's very offending presence.
Tumblr media
Captain Kidd is the best fit for the Swarm, as beneath her self-inflicted facade is a woman so sociopathic that she'd gladly see all of humanity wiped out just to drag the Master of Chaldea into death and despair, she's a human that the Human Order itself rejected, to the point that she can only manifest by hijacking her husband's Saint Graph. And were it not for that rejection of humanity, that Pretender class container she's forced into, she'd never answer the call to help a human - she only wishes to see others fall, and it's only with self-inflicted delusions that she can fight for the betterment of humanity.

Here’s the thing about Wrestle Dynasty. I was not happy. But my spidey senses (now calmed down after a night of sleep and back and forth discussions with the BFF) say as a New Japan fan, I wasn’t meant to like it. And that, upon reflection, is a good thing.
There is an inherent and fundamental difference between New Japan and AEW. NJPW is about the mechanics and love of technical wrestling. Antonio Inoki believed in the fighting spirit and passing that on to the next generation. The entire Young Lion system is a testament to how important the technical and cultural aspects of Japanese wrestling is to the organization.
It is actually sometimes hard for me to go from deep diving into a New Japan month long tournament to watching AEW. While storyline is important in New Japan, it’s handled much differently than in AEW. Winning and losing isn’t as important as how well you perform in a match. How much your fighting spirit is evident and connects with the audience. It’s a different mindset from AEW, so my brain sometimes hiccups adjusting back to AEW after tournaments like Best of the Super Juniors (one of my absolute favorite tournaments), New Japan Cup or the G1.
As much as I adore AEW for giving me back my love of wrestling, New Japan is incredibly special to me. Back during NWA/WCW’s time, there was a strong partnership between them and New Japan. One of NJPWs legends - Jushin Thunder Liger - was a massive WCW fan favorite. I got peaks of Japanese wrestling and loved it. Inoki himself put together shows with other countries and welcomed partnerships with them.
But it was damn near impossible to watch New Japan shows not affiliated with WCW back then. Unless you had a source who could tape shows and send them to you (why do you think Eddie Kingston had so many wrestling tapes), there wasn’t another way to watch it. This was pre-internet. So when I came back to pro-wrestling with the start of AEW and found that New Japan had a streaming service?! I could not sign up fast enough.
Not only was I now able to watch shows live, I could binge their back catalog. And that cemented my allegiance to New Japan. If push came to shove and I was only allowed to watch one promotion for the rest of my life (why this would be a scenario is beyond me but I digress), it would be NJPW. I’d miss the fuck out of my favorites in AEW but at heart, I will always love the honor and traditions of wrestling that New Japan holds dear.
So when New Japan kept taking loss and loss last night, I reacted exactly how they wanted - protective of New Japan and angry at AEW for invading it. When Will, Jay and Okada left for AEW, there was a lot of talk about New Japan being over. That all its best stars were now gone and this was the start of their decline. They did have to rebuild and reconsider their future. But I think this is now the culmination of that.
Chris Charlton (the British commentator) has always been the one to throw small digs at AEW. Nothing of significance and it’s always been rooted in his pride for New Japan and British wrestling. But last night he was dialed to 11 with his anger towards AEW. Me and my best friend both commented on that. And Chris has always been one of their best resources for building and selling a storyline. His indignation was meant to stoke the flames of protectiveness for New Japan fans. Having Rocky Romero there as his devil’s advocate was another brilliant move.
Nick and Matt never take a belt for ego. So for them to win the tag belts is clearly because of the narrative. And once again, I reacted exactly how they wanted me to - angry and protective of New Japan.
Having Gabe, Dan and Clark - members of a faction created solely to buck New Japan’s status quo - be so damn gung ho and proud to fight for and represent New Japan was a surprise. I seriously thought at one point, Clark would tear his shirt off to reveal the New Japan logo tattooed on his chest. That’s how amped they were that match. And the Japanese fans fed off of that and gave their love back ten fold. Kenny technically won that match but Gabe and New Japan came out the victor. And if you have any doubt about it, the fact that Kenny was almost completely forgotten by the audience and commentary team after his hand was raised should squash it.
My two cents theory is this will serve as the groundwork for and driving force behind Forbidden Door. New Japan fighting back against AEW and standing up for Inoki’s fighting spirit. And since this year it’s on “neutral” ground (not America and not Japan), the stage is set for an epic showdown.
But I still believe with my whole chest Mina should have won.

Kidd, luffy and law x reader (love triangle) please 😽😻
Run wild and free
Tumblr media
luffy x reader + law x reader + kid x reader
a/n: bestie that’s not a love triangle, that’s a love quadrangle lmao. jokes apart, I ended up making it a bit too platonic and about you joining their crew, but I hope you’ll like it anyway.
reader’s powers: inspired by solo leveling
tags: gn!reader, post-wano, strong!reader, slow burn, tension
words count: 3.5k
masterlist || ao3 || ko-fi
Tumblr media
The war for Wano is over.
Kaido has fallen. Orochi is dead. The Beasts Pirates have been crushed.
And yet, despite the celebrations, the laughter, and the cries of victory in the Flower Capital, you stand apart alone, as you’re used to.
The battlefield still writhes with shadows. Black, eerie figures kneel at your feet, remnants of those you’ve slain, now bound to your will.
Your power grants you dominion over the dead. Every opponent you cut down becomes yours, their shadows shackled to you in eternal servitude.
Some call you a monster. Others call you a deity of war. Either way, they fear you.
And that’s why the three most dangerous men alive are now fighting over you.
“Oi! There you are!”
Luffy’s voice rings across the ruined battlefield, his footsteps loud as he runs up to you. His grin is as bright as ever, completely unaffected by the haunting army of shadows still lurking behind you.
“That was so cool!” he says, eyes practically sparkling “You should totally join my crew!”
You blink “What?”
“You’re strong! And awesome! And you’d love the Sunny!” Luffy laughs “I bet you and Zoro would get along!”
You tilt your head. He’s serious.
Before you can answer...
“Tch. Move it, Straw Hat.”
Boots stomp onto the cracked ground. Kid.
His crimson eyes burn with something like admiration but it’s buried beneath his usual arrogance.
“You’re not actually considering that dumbass, are you?” He folds his arms, metal arm gleaming under the moonlight “You belong with a real crew… mine.”
You smirk “You mean a ship full of lunatics?”
Kid’s grin widens “Exactly, you’re obviously one of us.”
Before you can respond—
“You two never shut up.”
The voice is calm, sharp. Surgical.
Law steps forward, hands in his coat pockets, golden eyes locked onto you. Unlike the others, he doesn’t demand or taunt.
He simply says “You’re not looking for chaos. You’re not looking for a crew of idiots fighting over scraps. You’re looking for something bigger.” His gaze sharpens “Join me, and I’ll give you exactly that.”
The air tightens. The unspoken challenge crackles like thunder.
Luffy’s grin never fades “I’m not losing to either of you.”
Kid scoffs “Like hell you aren’t.”
Law just smirks “We’ll see.”
You exhale. They’re serious.
Three captains. Three paths.
You sigh, crossing your arms as you watch Luffy, Kid, and Law glare at each other, their presence crackling like lightning in the air.
“You guys do realize,” you deadpan, “that I never said I was joining any of you? You all know I’m a lonely pirate and somehow I already have my crew…”
Luffy ignores you “They’re all shadows… Join my crew, Y/N!” he says, grinning ear to ear “We’re all super strong! And we have a cook who makes the best food ever!”
Kid scoffs “You think food is what’s gonna convince them, Straw Hat?” He turns to you, crimson eyes gleaming “You’re wasted with these idiots. With me, you’d have the strongest crew on the seas. No one could touch us. And admit it, your powers fit us.”
Law sighs, rubbing his temple like he’s already exhausted by both of them “You two are insufferable.” He looks at you, his golden eyes sharp and calculating “You don’t need chaos. You don’t need a circus act. You need something real. Join me, and I’ll give you exactly that.”
You blink at them. They’re serious.
You already knew that Luffy was stubborn as hell, Kid was relentless, and Law was dangerous in the quietest ways, but you didn’t think they’d actually fight over you.
Your silence seems to fuel the fire.
“What can you even offer them, Trafalgar?” Kid sneers, cracking his knuckles “A crew full of weaklings?”
“I have a submarine” Law says coolly.
Luffy pauses “…That’s actually kind of cool. But the Sunny is way cooler! And we have the best musician ever! Do you guys even have music on your ships?”
You exhale through your nose “You guys do realize you’re treating me like a damn prize, right?”
Luffy blinks “Huh?”
Law sighs “That’s not what this is.”
Kid smirks “I mean, it kinda is.”
The ground shakes as your shadows shift, the weight of your power pressing down on the air “You’re acting like I’m just gonna follow one of you like a lost puppy.”
Kid grins “Wouldn’t say no to that.”
Before you can reply, a new voice cuts in.
“Oi! What the hell is going on here? We thought you were killing each other.”
You glance over to see Zoro, Killer, and Bepo approaching, the rest of their respective crews trailing behind them. Nami, Sanji, and Usopp are already watching from a distance, curiosity burning in their eyes. Heat and Wire stand near Killer, arms crossed. Shachi and Penguin exchange glances, whispering to each other.
It’s clear that the entire alliance has noticed the brewing tension.
“What is this, some kind of territory dispute?” Zoro grumbles, adjusting his swords.
“Oh, it’s worse,” Sanji says, lighting a cigarette “They’re fighting over y/n.”
Zoro pauses “Wait, seriously?”
“Seems like” Nami confirms.
Bepo looks at Law, confused “Captain, what’s happening?”
“Nothing” Law says flatly.
Killer sighs “Eustass-ya, this is ridiculous.”
Kid waves him off “Shut up, Killer. I’m working.”
“Working?” You narrow your eyes.
Kid shrugs, smirking “I like collecting powerful things.”
Luffy snorts “Well, I like collecting friends!”
Law rubs his temples again, clearly regretting everything.
Sanji exhales a plume of smoke “Well, well. What an interesting little mess.” as he eyes you with a smirk.
Your shadows ripple violently.
“Absolutely not.”
The temperature seems to drop as your aura expands. Even the wind seems to hold its breath.
The crews tense. They’ve seen you fight. They’ve seen the horrors your power can unleash.
Kid whistles, impressed “Damn. I like that.”
Luffy grins, unfazed “Your powers are so cool!”
Law watches you closely. Too closely. His golden eyes see more than you want him to.
You exhale “I don’t take orders from anyone. Not you. Not the World Government. Not anyone.”
Kid smirks “Then what do you want?”
You hesitate.
Because the truth is that you don’t know.
Luffy steps closer, eyes bright with something honest “You wanna see the world with us?”
Kid leans in, voice dropping into something dangerous “Or do you wanna rule it?”
Law, ever the strategist, doesn’t ask. He just looks at you and says “You’re searching for something. I can help you find it.”
The weight of their offers settles over you like a storm.
And for the first time in a long time you feel something real.
Luffy’s grin softens “You’d be awesome on the Sunny!”
Kid scoffs “Or you could actually be on a ship worthy of your strength.”
Law sighs, tilting his head slightly “You’re both exhausting.” But his eyes flick back to you, and for a second you see something intense.
They’re not letting this go.
“Yeesh, are they flirting or fighting?” Nami mutters.
Usopp stares “I… honestly can’t tell.”
Killer just sighs “Both.”
Heat nudges Wire “Should we start taking bets?”
Sanji exhales, watching you closely “Lucky bastards.”
You ignore them all, looking at the three captains in front of you. You’re not stupid, you know this isn’t just about power anymore.
It’s about you.
Kid steps closer, voice dropping just for you “You’re different.” His crimson eyes glint with something hungry “You’re not scared of me. You’re not scared of anything, are you?”
You smirk “Should I be?”
His grin stretches wider “I’d like to see you try.”
Luffy, still smiling, grabs your wrist. His fingers are warm, rough from battle and adventure, but there’s nothing forceful in the way he holds you. It’s just excited, unfiltered emotion.
“You’d have so much fun with us, y/n!” He leans in, voice almost giddy “I wanna show you the whole world!”
Your heart skips. Just a little.
Then a hand grabs Luffy’s wrist, yanking it off of you.
Law.
His touch is cool, precise, almost possessive. He doesn’t say anything, just stares at Luffy, then at you. There’s something undeniably sharp in his gaze now.
Something dangerous.
“Don’t touch them so casually” he says. His voice is low.
Luffy just tilts his head “Huh? Why not?”
Law doesn’t answer.
Kid watches, then laughs “Holy shit. You’re jealous.”
Law ignores him, eyes still locked on you “This isn’t a game.” His voice is quieter now “Not for me.”
And for once, you don’t know what to say.
The air feels heavier now, not from battle, but from something far more dangerous.
This isn’t just about alliances anymore.
This is a chase.
The weight of their gazes presses in. Too much.
You exhale slowly, rolling your shoulders back. The shadows one by one sink into the ground, vanishing like ink in water, back to where they belong.
The battlefield is quiet.
Kid watches with sharp interest “Tch. Even your Devil Fruit is showy.”
Luffy tilts his head, blinking “Huh? Where’d they go?”
Law doesn’t speak, just watches you with that calculating gaze, as if he’s trying to figure out what you’re thinking.
But you don’t give them the chance.
You turn on your heel and walk away.
Not a word.
Not an explanation.
Just silence.
The festival in the Flower Capital is alive with laughter, music, and sake. People are celebrating, embracing their long-awaited freedom.
The people of Wano don’t know you like they know the others. You’re not a Straw Hat, not a Heart Pirate, not part of Kid’s crew. You’re just a shadow passing through their victory.
It should be freeing.
It isn’t.
You settle against a wooden post near a quieter part of the town, eyes drifting up to the lanterns lighting up the sky. The night is warm, the air thick with the scent of grilled food and spilled alcohol. Somewhere in the distance, you can hear Brook playing music, the faint sound of Luffy laughing, the chaotic voices of pirates and samurai alike.
And yet, you’re alone.
Just how you like it.
…Right?
“You’re hard to find.”
The voice is low, familiar.
You don’t have to turn around to know who it is. Trafalgar Law.
He steps beside you, hands tucked in his coat pockets, golden eyes flicking toward yours. His expression is unreadable, but there’s something different in the way he’s looking at you. Something unspoken.
You don’t acknowledge him right away. Just sip from the drink you swiped earlier.
“You followed me?”
Law doesn’t deny it “You left without saying anything.”
“You guys were annoying me.”
He exhales through his nose, amused “I figured.”
Silence stretches between you, comfortable but heavy. The festival noise hums in the background, but this moment feels separate from all of it.
After a beat, Law speaks again.
“You’re not staying, are you?”
“Would that disappoint you?”
Law’s gaze sharpens, but not with irritation, but something deeper.
“I don’t like wasting my time,” he murmurs “And I don’t chase things I can’t keep.”
Your heartbeat stumbles.
A challenge. A warning. A confession. Maybe all three.
For the first time in a long time, you don’t know what to say, and Law notices.
Your grip tightens around your cup, but you force yourself to keep your expression neutral “That so?”
Law doesn’t answer right away. He just watches you, too closely, as if he’s already mapping out every possible move you could make. Then he tilts his head slightly.
“You don’t run from battles.” His voice is smooth, steady “But you walked away from us.”
You scoff “Don’t tell me you took that personally.”
He exhales through his nose “I don’t take things personally. I just like to understand what I’m dealing with.” His golden eyes flick to yours, sharp, unreadable “And you? You’re an enigma.”
A small smirk tugs at your lips “Flattery, Trafalgar?”
“Observation.”
The weight of his gaze lingers. Heavy. And something about it, about him, unsettles you in a way you don’t want to acknowledge. Because he’s right.
You don’t walk away from fights. You don’t back down from challenges. But something about them, about this whole mess, made you leave.
Before you can respond, a loud, familiar voice cuts through the air.
“There you are!”
Footsteps. Heavy boots against wood.
Kid.
He stomps over, crimson eyes flicking between you and Law, his lip curling “The hell is this?”
You raise a brow “A conversation?”
Kid huffs, rolling his shoulders like he’s shaking off some irritation “Didn’t think you were the type to have quiet conversations.”
Law clicks his tongue “And I didn’t think you were the type to go looking for someone who left without a word.”
Kid’s eyes darken “Tch. You think I give a damn if they left? I just don’t like loose ends.”
But the way his gaze lingers on you says otherwise.
You sigh, rubbing your temple. This is exactly what you wanted to avoid “Why are you two even here?”
Kid folds his arms “Maybe I don’t like being ignored.”
Law hums “Needy.”
“Shut the hell up, Trafalgar.”
You sigh “You’re both ridiculous.”
Kid leans against the post next to you, his smirk sharp “Maybe. But you didn’t answer the question.”
You glance at him “What question?”
He tilts his head, watching you like a predator watching its prey “Are you staying?”
The air between you tightens.
You could lie and tell them exactly what they want to hear, but you don’t answer at all. And this silence is what gets them.
Kid’s smirk twitches, like he doesn’t like not knowing. Law’s fingers flex at his sides, like he wants to dissect every inch of your thoughts.
And just when you think you might finally get some peace a familiar laugh echoes.
Luffy.
He lands in front of you, grinning like he hasn’t just dropped into the middle of something tense.
“Oi, y/n!” His grin stretches wide, his eyes shining “I’ve been looking for you!”
Of course he has. Of course they all have.
Luffy's wide eyes flick between you, Law, and Kid and he doesn’t miss a thing.
“Eh? You guys are here too?”
Kid rolls his eyes “No shit.”
Law sighs, rubbing his temple “Straw Hat-ya, this really isn’t—”
But Luffy’s already stepping into your space. Closer than the others. Closer than anyone should be.
His warm fingers brush against your wrist, tugging lightly but not pulling, not forcing.
“You left before the party started,” he says, pouting “I wanted to drink with you.”
His voice isn’t demanding. It’s something worse... soft.
Unfiltered. Real.
Your pulse skips just for a second. And from the way Law tenses and Kid narrows his eyes, you know they notice.
You don’t pull away, but you don’t answer either.
Luffy tilts his head “Are you mad?”
You blink “Why would I be mad?”
He shrugs “Dunno. Maybe ‘cause we wouldn’t stop arguing in front of you.”
Kid scoffs “You mean because you wouldn’t shut up?”
Luffy grins “Well, yeah.”
Law exhales, voice flat “Straw Hat-ya, you’re not helping.”
But Luffy doesn’t care. He never does. He just looks at you, his fingers still wrapped around your wrist.
“You didn’t answer Kid’s question” he says.
You freeze. Of course he noticed.
Kid shifts beside you, arms crossed, eyes burning “Yeah, y/n. You staying or not?”
Law watches you, calculating, unreadable.
The festival noise fades. It’s just them. Just this. And you still don’t answer. Not because you don’t know, but because they all want different things.
Kid wants power. A challenge. Someone who doesn’t bend to him but still stands beside him. And you can give him that.
Law wants strategy. Precision. Someone he can trust, someone who understands things without needing to say them. And, angain, you can give him that.
Luffy just...
Luffy just wants you as you.
Not for your strength. Not for your Devil Fruit.
Just because you’re you.
And that’s the scariest thing of them all to you.
So instead of answering, you finally pull your hand back.
“I’m going to get a drink” you say simply.
Then you walk away, again. And this time none of them stop you.
Your boots move over the worn wooden planks of the street, but your mind lingers on the moment you pulled away. On the way they looked at you. You grip the sake bottle you swiped from a distracted vendor, your fingers pressing just a little too tightly around it. You shouldn’t care and yet... Footsteps. You don’t turn. You don’t have to. “I thought I told you I was getting a drink” you murmur. A low chuckle. Rough, amused. “Didn’t say I wasn’t getting one too.” Kid. Of course. You glance over your shoulder. He’s close.
Crimson eyes gleaming, coat still torn from battle, his usual sneer replaced with something slower, something that lingers. He’s looking at you like you’re his favorite fight.
You sigh, raising the bottle to your lips “What, afraid I’ll disappear?”
Kid’s smirk sharpens “I don’t get afraid.”
You swallow, letting the warmth of the sake burn down your throat “Could’ve fooled me.”
His grin widens “Tch. You wish.”
You should tell him to leave but you don’t. Because despite the way Kid is all sharp edges, all arrogance, all chaos, he’s also the one who followed. The one who didn’t let you slip into the night alone.
“Where the hell do you think you’re running off to, anyway?” he asks.
You tilt your head, watching him “Who says I’m running?”
Kid scoffs “Please. You didn’t just walk away. You walked the hell out.”
You hum, taking another slow sip “And yet, here you are.”
His smirk doesn’t fade “Damn right.”
“You’re different from them” he mutters.
You raise a brow “Them?”
His eyes flick back to where Law and Luffy were.
“They don’t get you like I do.” His voice drops just slightly, lower, rougher “You don’t play nice. You don’t follow. And you sure as hell don’t belong on a crew that treats life like a damn adventure story.”
You exhale, tapping the bottle against your thigh “That why you’re here?”
Kid takes another step closer, his voice a challenge and a promise all at once.
“I’m here ‘cause you don’t belong to anyone, y/n...”
His grin turns sharp.
“...but you could stand beside me. And you know that.”
A challenge. A temptation. And a mistake.
Because before you can answer, another voice cuts in.
“You don’t decide that for them.”
Kid turns, scowling, just as Law steps into the light.
You exhale through your nose “Figures you’d show up next. You all won't give up until I make a choice, will you?”
Law doesn’t deny it “Because you keep walking away” His voice is level “But you didn’t leave.”
Kid scoffs “Oh, for fuck’s sake!”
But Law ignores him. He steps closer, close enough that the air between you shifts. His voice is quieter now, meant only for you.
“If you were really leaving, you would’ve been gone by now.”
You grip the bottle tighter “And what if I just wanted a damn drink in peace?”
“Then you wouldn’t have let him follow.”
Your pulse stumbles. Kid’s jaw clenches, but before he can snap back, a familiar warmth crashes into you.
Luffy.
Arms wrapping around you like it’s the most natural thing in the world, his laugh bright, unbothered by the tension thick enough to cut with a blade.
“There you are!” He pulls back just enough to grin up at you “I knew you weren’t really leaving yet!”
You blink “What makes you so sure?”
Luffy tilts his head, confused by the question itself “Because you didn’t say goodbye.”
The simplicity of it hits harder than it should, because he’s right. You didn’t.
Law’s eyes darken, but he doesn’t look away from you “You’re still deciding.”
Kid’s jaw ticks “Tch. Just say it already.”
Luffy just waits, still smiling. Because he already knows.
And suddenly, you realize that so do you.
You inhale. Exhale. And then you turn.
Not to Kid.
Not to Law.
But to Luffy.
His eyes widen slightly, his fingers twitching against your sleeve “Eh?”
Your lips curl into a smirk “Took you long enough to find me, though”
Then he jumps with joy, hugs you tightly and kiss you on the cheek, which shocks you.
Luffy’s arms still wrapping tight around you like he never wants to let go.
Kid curses loudly, wheeling around to storm off, shoving a stunned passerby out of his way “You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.”
Law sighs heavily, running a hand down his face “Honestly.” But there’s no real bitterness in his voice, just understanding. Because they both saw it before you did.
You were never meant to follow. Never meant to stand beside them.
You were meant to run wild and free, with the only captain who never wanted to tame you in the first place.
Luffy pulls back, beaming, his hands still tight around you “So that means you’re coming with me, right?”
“As if you’d let me go.”
He grins.
“Never.”

Art? Awww!🥹🥹
Tumblr media
I'm glad you liked the idea! When you're given godly powers, you gotta use them to help your fellow girlies, am I right??👀🩷
I can't say I got the reference, but if it reminded you of something you like, then I'm happy!!😅💕
Yeeeeeeeeeah, I wouldn't say "talked some sense" is the best definition for what she did💀 UoL Harumi might’ve attempted, but OoD Harumi has killed for less, lmao! (Anyways, she's got the problem solved ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
LAISVERSE I'M-- DJFODOWNXJJCIHDJ😂💕
Yep, thus trio is definitely a recurring thing! Now I just need to establish them in my Scorpion!Harumi AU!👀
I feel like Leizi would Suggests "3xCharm" and Frost would go for "Triple Threat", Satoshi would go for something like "Forces of Nature" cause they are mentored by a former Goddess of Nature (Cetrion) and their powers are all nature based (thunder, fire and ice) and I feel they would all call themselves a different name while their opponents just call them "Kombat Kids" lmao!💀😂
What if Harumi was a keeper of time? The question that I could think of off the top of my head is what's gonna happen to her husband(s)? her son? What if Satoshi is the chosen one, aka her version of Liu Kang??
Hey Jasper! 💕 I'm sorry, this ask is a bit old, but I hope you're still interested in an answer!
Well, the question that comes for me first is "how would Harumi become a Time Keeper?"
I know one thing: if a Harumi is to become a Time Keeper, it has to be a Harumi Hasashi instead of a Harumi Shirai!
Because don't take me wrong, Harumi Shirai would make a GREAT Time Keeper, but Harumi Hasashi would simply have the most FASCINATING journey!
Starting with how she would be inserted into the story: Kronika bringing her from the past! More specifically, during the Shirai Ryu massacre, right after Satoshi's death but before hers!
Why that moment specifically?
Because Harumi is not Hanzo. She is a fierce protector, yes, but she's not easy driven by her emotions and can not be easily manipulated by them.
Harumi is actually great at seeing through manipulation and helping people see the truth and reason even in the middle of conflict!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Khaos Reigns, Harumi could tell Cyrax was being manipulated and pushed against them. She could see Bi-Han moving the strings, and she would see Kronika too!
Harumi in her right mind is dangerous. So Kronika would need her disoriented and vulnerable, and during the massacre would be the perfect time.
That would've been a smart move from Kronika, but not so smart to place her on the same team as Noob Saibot. Cause the guy just won't shut up about his death!
"Stupid Scorpion! Stupid misunderstanding! Killed by mistake, can you believe it?? Me, Lin Kuei's greatest warrior! If I knew you would've given me this much trouble, Mrs Hasashi, I would've ACTUALLY killed you!"
And Harumi would listen to it all. Thoroughly.
She would learn how she and Satoshi and even Bi-Han are just little pawns on a bigger game. Kronika's game. And that would make her furious!
Because "What do you mean my son's LIFE was just an event on someone else's life? Just something to be used over and over again in your little stories??" Unacceptable!
Harumi decided she was done being Kronika's disposable doll and that she would put an end to this madness!
She joined forces with Noob Saibot and Kronika's conflicted daughter, Cetrion, who lent her godly powers to Harumi, so the Shirai Ryu could defeat the mad Titan!
Harumi felt bad for tricking Noob and taking full control of the Hourglass before he could. But she made the solemn promise of being kind to him in her New Era.
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
While knitting together her own Timeline, Harumi kept thinking about her role in the previous one. An event on someone else's life. Someone's disposable doll.
And she wondered to herself how many others suffered from the same fate. Who else was just someone's wife, someone's mother, sister, ally, subordinate.
She found a few names. Suchin. Lisa Liang. Sareena. Kia. Jataaka.
Women just like her, with fates so similar to hers.
Except now she has the power to change her fate and she would make sure to change theirs too! She would be their protector, and give them the chance to be more this time around!
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
In her New Era, Harumi is the Goddess of Nature (a gift from Cetrion). She fell in love with Hanzo once again and Satoshi was born a Half God.
Satoshi was destined to be her champion, so from a young age he was taught how to handle his powers! His mentor was Cetrion, who also mentored a Half Goddess named Leizi (or Kidd Thunder as she'd rather be called).
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
With her new powers, Harumi saved her clan by killing those who conspired against it!
She killed Sektor and Bi-Han became the new Grandmaster alongside with his siblings, Kuai Liang and Lisa Liang!
A kinder fate, as she promised.
And by killing Quan Chi, she gave the Demoness Jataaka the opportunity to start a revolution in Netherrealm, backed up by her sisters, Sareena and Kia, and she became the first Demonborn to rule Netherrealm!
After practically handing over the Lin Kuei to the Sub-Zero siblings, Harumi suggested an alliance that was accepted somewhat easily!
It was through this alliance that Lisa became close acquainted to the now divorced Nature Goddess!
And it was also how she came to meet Frost. Grandmistress and Goddess worked together to dismantle a Black Dragon's base and Frost was in one of their illegal fighting rings!
Lisa took Frost under her wing and it was only a matter of time until the young Cryomancer met Satoshi and Leizi and joined them in their adventures to protect Earthrealm!
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
Now you must be wondering what happened to Suchin!
Don't worry, Harumi did not forget about her! But she had to be creative to save her.
Suchin has Seidan ancestry and when Seidans get in touch with Chaos Magic they develop miraculous healing powers!
In the previous Timeline, Suchin died without even knowing of her ancestry, in this one, however, Harumi made sure to get her in touch with Chaos Magic. Just the smallest bit though, just enough to remain dormant within Suchin until it was needed.
When Suchin woke up, completely confused and disoriented, with her bullet wound still healing, she did not even questioned how was she still alive. She just got up and rushed to find her son! (Who is under Hanzo's care)
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
Aaaaaand that's it! My take on Time Keeper Harumi, Goddess of Nature and Protector of all Girlies!🌺
And in case you're wondering what an Order of Darkness Titan Harumi would look like, all I can tell is that not only she would kill Kronika, but Hanzo too!💀
Cause you know, her and her son's painful deaths, along with the deaths of everyone she knew and loved, happened so his story could keep going. They all died for him. And she would not take that lightly!
That would be tragic, surely, but I can only imagine what it would be like if this Harumi met Invasions!Hanzo, who thinks her life is worthy only when it belongs to him!
Ooooooooh, she would've DESTROYED him! And honestly, I'm here for it! >:]
Oh, and she would also dedicate herself to protect her fellow doomed by the narrative ladies, but her approach would be more like:
"Oh, so she dies so your story can keep going! What if I ended your story here so hers can keep going?"
RIP Hanzo, Kenshi, the Sub-Zero bros, and most likely a whole lot of men💀
@mikka-minns @thedragonholder @thegrimoiresvoice @apepthehero New AU, anyone?

Distress.
That is the expression etched onto his face.
This man you don’t know, he has his red lips pulled across his face, eyes unbelievably wide as his pupils are ballon-like, nostrils flaring in correspondence with the ragged way his chest moves up and down.
Clearly, he’s not okay.
“Mister…?” Your voice, shaking against your own will, calls out to the man. “Are you… okay?”
As if remembering he exists, the man jolts, a step
mouth opening to breathe in, and then-
Nothing.
All that comes from him is a sound- something similar to a word, but it’s indecipherable with how much his wheeze strangles the syllables.
It’s almost as if he forgot how to speak, the concept of language lost to the one in front of you.
For some reason, that scares you.
One moment, you were just playing with a friend in your hometown… and another, you’re in some dense forest, with a stranger who could easily snap your bones in half.
When he came storming in and faced you, you thought he’d be able to help you understand where you are, but the expression on his face and his indecipherable speech quickly crushed your hopes.
I…
Silence.
Cold, empty silence.
As the man’s fists clench and unclench, the quiet pricks at your stomach, gently threading its way in and sewing an eeriness into your internal organs.
You don’t like it.
You don’t like it at all.
As the hush continues, the thread only gets tighter around your intestines, squeezing and squeezing until they explode.
Before that could happen, though, the book was reopened, and the man has remembered what words are.
“Why do you look like that?”
…huh?
His tone is low, almost like a bite; a wolf, sinking its teeth into its prey.
The prey being you.
Unfamiliar situations are the perfect time to hurt a person, and you’re right in that situation.
“Answer me, dammit!”
An ocean’s roar, a step forward.
Violently, you’ve flinched back, a yelp escaping your lips, “I- I don’t know! I look fine-!”
“No the hell you don’t! You look like a child!” Thunder accompanies the bed of water, something sharp in his voice. “What happened to you for you to look like that, huh?!”
“Wha- huh?!” Quickly, your vision becomes blurry, tears running down your cheeks- a usual occurrence, for you. “I’m- I am a kid! Who are you?!”
What you ask serves to only add fuel to the fire, the red-haired man yelling, “‘Who am I’- what do you mean ‘who am I’?! It’s me!” Violently, he gestures to himself, as if that’s supposed to help.
‘Me?!’
You sob, “What do you mean?!
“Don’t play dumb!” The more he speaks, the louder he gets. “Cmon, use your thick skull to remember! I’m your captain, remember? Eustass? Eustass Kidd?! You gotta remember something-!” Your name is hissed, rough and almost desperate.
You falter.
My name?
Once again, that thread starts to squeeze.
Eustass Kid?
The Eustass you know is a kid. A small, scraggly child who’s shorter and a year younger than you. He’s got red hair like the man before you, but your Eustass’s hair is dirtied by the constant dirt and soot he’s roughing around him.
This guy… this guy, is not your friend.
Not only does he look completely different, but he’s an adult. He’s probably just trying to fool you, by saying your name.
Noticing your hesitance, the man before you grunts, “You know me!” Violently grabbing your shoulders, yanking you to face him. “You…” His voice softens, eyes shining with something you can’t place. “You know me… You have to.”
You have to know him.
Four years ago, you, Killer, Heat, Wire, and Kid, had all formed a pirate crew; hopes set high, and hands raised towards the stars, you all wanted one thing: to make your captain The Pirate King.
To make your captain the sole inheritor of the One Piece.
For four years, you all voyaged with that goal. Obtaining new crew members, slaughtering everybody who dared to laugh at him, and watching his bounty steadily climb…
For four years, that was done.
For four years.
There’s no way you could’ve forgotten all that.
There’s no way that four years of memories are gone, just like that.
There’s no way, with a touch of a random asshole’s hand, you’ve turned back into a child, just like that.
Just like that.
But it has, hasn’t it?
Eustass’s grip on you tightens.
It has, and now, you’ve been turned back into the crybaby you used to be, sniffling and whining as you always do.
“God- dammit…” The captain exhales, shaky and short.
What does he do?
His mind is jumbled; a singular race track, with lanes that all intertwine with each other in a way that’s chaotic, all the emotions he’s feeling crashing into one another to create a giant, tangled, mess.
Rational thought does not exist in his mind, it cannot be processed because everything else is just screaming at him because how dare that bastard turn you back into a child, how dare they remove years spent on the seas, memories shared, exploits indulged in. He’s going to kill them. Eustass is going to tear them apart and make sure they were never fucking born.
Yet, in the middle of all of that jumble, lies a singular question in his mind that is clear.
What’s he going to do with you?
You’re a kid.
Not only that, but as far as he can remember, you were a stupid little sniveler. A weak, little thing who could barely throw a bunch for the life of you.
You can’t defend yourself.
So what does he do?
On one hand, If you came aboard his crew, you would have no way of self-protection in the scenario of an emergency. Anybody could come up and kill you.
On the other, he can’t just leave you here- or anywhere, for that matter. He doesn’t trust any sort of bastard to take care of you. They could use you as leverage for any sort of favor from the Kid Pirates, and the thought of you being hurt makes him want to throw up.
At the end of the day, he doesn’t want you to die.
Although you may not remember, at the end of the day, you’re his crewmate.
His friend.
…he doesn’t want to let you go.
No.
He refuses to let you go.
