Hello, everyone! Welcome to this year's event! Instead of MitsuKiki Week, which I was originally going to do, in light of the declining interest in MitsuKiki, and the upcoming ANS events that are happening this year, I have decided to change this to a Weekend event instead. So hopefully, this'll be easier for any of the participants who wish to join this event.

The theme for this event is "Relaxation". Perfect for a weekend event! 😁

Feel free to write MitsuKiki romantically, platonically, professionally, etc. I'll leave it up to you.

The event will begin on May 3 — May 5. Less than 2 months to work on your entries. Which should give you plenty of time. As usual, there is no need for you to do all of the prompts unless you want to. Also, if you can't take part in this event due to your schedule, you're free to post late submissions whenever you wish.

Remember to tag us and add #mitsukiki-festival and #mitsukiki weekend 2024 tags to your posts.

There is No Such Thing as Ghosts (Hamefura AU)

Shirayuki should have known that no good would come from Professor Garrack’s invitation to visit the Magic Ministry.

The day begins much like any other at the Clarines Magic Academy. She heads for the garden early, hoping for a leisurely day in the garden tending to her “flowers” and stocking her always-dwindling supply of medical herbs. It is time to harvest some meadowsweet and the mint needs to be conquered before the next rainy day helps it succeed in its attempted takeover of the entire western part of the plot. She also needs to keep an eye on the calendula and echinacea – buds are bursting everywhere, and it was important to collect them for drying at their peak freshness. A second pair of hands is always useful during this part of the season, so it’s a good thing Obi has, as usual, accompanied her on her daily check of the garden.

I know it’s been 4+ years since the last one and I apologize but I was kinda bullied out of this fandom when I was only 14. Well...right now in the manga it's complicated. Kind of hard to explain without spoiling things. LOTS of events happened previously (both physically and emotionally) that connect to his answer. Plus chapter 92 is really recent--currently waiting on the 100th chap to come out--so personally i think Mitsukiki isn’t done yet. But rather the author Sorata is writing them to have they’re own background arc where we finally start to really see Mitsuhide come full-circle; realizing and discovering Kiki in a new light (something that was always there but he was just unaware of, like the lovable dolt he is ;P). 

To be real i could totally be wrong. :P But i just feel like they’ve been written in such a specific way that it’s not simply one-sided with no feelings on his part whatsoever. But i guess we’ll discover more for sure later, things should get interesting again since Kiki has mentioned Hisame...

MitsuKiki Week 2023

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the first MitsuKiki event of the year: MitsuKiki Week 2023! The event will begin from May 21st — May 27th. Which will give you guys 1 and 1/2 months to work. ^_^

We decided to do a Spring theme for the prompts, since it is springtime, with the final day being a free day where you can choose anything, have it be an AU, or even both! It’s up to you!

Here are the prompts:
