scenario: you're hurt! how do they react?

Arven:

he's immediately in "protect y/n" mode. his expression grows serious. he examines your injury closely, asks you if it still hurts, and offers to patch you up.

if you got hurt by someone else? ohhh boy, it's not gonna be pretty. you'll have to convince him not to run off and find the bastard that laid their hands on you. (he'll eventually agree to not beat them up if you give him a good enough reason.)

he stays by your side no matter what, like the loyal person he is. gives you some water and food if need be, and makes sure you're taken care of.

he gets sorta... protective after that. doesn't let anyone else touch you. he just doesn't trust anyone else to not hurt you.

Drayton:

he kinda jokes about it at first as if he doesn't believe you, until you actually show him where it hurts.

he freezes up and looks at you with wide eyes. he immediately asks you how this happened. his hand is on your shoulder, holding you supportively-- though you could swear it felt a bit tighter than usual.

if it was someone else who hurt you, drayton's gonna be pissed. his usual smile is gone, and his hand is clenched on his pokeball as he has to stop himself from unleashing his pokemon on whoever did this to you. although drayton is a dragon-type specialist, sometimes it feels like he's pretty dragon-like himself...

he takes you to the infirmary, of course. his eyes burn holes into the nurse as he makes sure they get you patched up and feeling better.

Kieran:

he freaks out immediately! oh my goodness, are you okay? do you need bandages? maybe a sweet to help calm your nerves? (he keeps way too much candy in his bag.)

don't let him find out if someone else hurt you, because he'd never truly forgive them. his expression will shift from "are you okay?!" to "...where is this person. what do they look like." they hurt you, his best friend, his rival, his... nevermind. let's just say that his fury won't be a pretty sight if he sees that piece of shit go near you again.

carmine says she's never seen kiki so upset on behalf of another person. he won't stop pacing around in his room, muttering to himself about how he needs to find that bastard. he only snaps out of this trance when you show up to his room, concerned for his well-being.

kieran just wants you to be okay, above all else. (please be okay.)

My name is Kiki (She/Her) and I am 18+. I’m the one that mainly provides the art and bots that you’ll find throughout this blog and sometimes, I write headcanons/imagines as well. My writer is Rose (She/Her, 18+) and she’s responsible for writing the fanfictions and some of the drabbles. We started this blog because we had numerous ideas for yandere characters. Given my background as an artist and Rose's talent as a writer, it seemed like a natural fit. I'm primarily creating this post to serve as a guide for navigating the blog. Since the beginning, Amazon has been gaslighting the audience about Galadriel and Sauron. It includes dropping hints that Sauron played Galadriel like a glockenspiel from day one in effort to infiltrate Eregion.

Now Amazon made it clear story incoherence is no obstacle to the story it wishes to tell. But it if they chose this route, it would break considerable believability. It works best that Sauron was still on his repentance shtick when he meets Galadriel.

Any ways, here’s my catastrophizing rant:

If Sauron played Galadriel, it’s kinda meh and predictable

As an Galadriel x Sauron enthusiast, I admit this complaint is largely self-serving. However, even if the pair were inarguably platonic, showing Sauron on the knife’s edge of repentance and darkness makes for a far more interesting character arc, mutual arc, and storyline. It gives us a glimpse of his personality beyond “Muahaha I’m eeevil and oh so cunning!”

If Sauron played Galadriel, why would he think a banished Elf would be his golden ticket?

Would you seek a referral from a friend who got fired at the job you want? Me neither because they lack the necessary social capital.

But that’s essentially what Sauron would be doing if he planned to use Galadriel to infuriate Eregion. After all, she told him that Gil-Galad and bestie Elrond conspired to banish her from ME. Pretty serious stuff.

How would Sauron know Galadriel didn’t burn bridges with Eregion? Is it believable that Celebrimbor, Lord of Eregion, wouldn’t know about her mutiny and banishment? He attended the High-King’s super secret “Elf lords only”-council meeting; and he rules the nearest Elven enclave to the occupied Southlands. It follows that over a millennium of war, Celebrimbor and Galadriel would have collaborated considerably to protect the realm. Her triumphs and follies would be known to him.

He should at least be surprised and skeptical about a banished commander showing up with yet more claims about Sauron. But since Galadriel enters the city without Celebrimbor batting an eye, it can only mean the showrunners didn’t consider the worldbuilding politics.

Therefore, to Amazon, if Sauron played Galadriel all along, she did have the social status for Sauron to exploit and infiltrate Eregion. And I suppose it couldn’t hurt his plans. But still…

If Sauron played Galadriel, wouldn’t it make him less cunning and powerful?

By accessing people’s minds and memory, RoP!Sauron can influence them into doing his bidding. Fair enough. Yet such a capability elicits unresolved questions on usage and potency. Therefore it’s reasonable to ask: if Sauron can mindfuck people, why does he need Galadriel to infiltrate Eregion? Why go on this nearly three month adventure with her, leaving so much left open to chance? Also couldn’t he even just mindfuck Celebrimbor from afar?

In lore, Sauron simply dons his fair Annatar form and rolls up to Eregion like, “Yo, I got gifts” then kikis with Celebrimbro and his crew. Tolkien tells us Sauron possesses great cunning and deceptiveness. By seizing control of Celebrimbor’s guild, even expelling Galadriel and Celeborn, we’re shown just how much.

So if RoP!Sauron needed a disgraced Elf and mind woo-woo to cozy up to Celebrimbor, it diminishes his prowess. And you know, c’mon, man. He’s Sauron.

If Sauron played Galadriel, pray tell— where is his repentance phase?

Tolkien explicitly said post-war Sauron was improving and even performing “fair works”. This is crucial because his second fell into darkness precipitates two other falls: the Elves (second one) and Numenor.

According to Adar, Sauron’s “repentance phase” included cruel experimentation on orcs in Forodwaith. Catholic or not, torturing sentient beings does not qualify as moral improvement. We would need to be shown a true repentance phase sometime before Sauron met Galadriel or it’s dishonest writing.

But since the showrunners don’t recognize the Harefoots as (inadvertently) evil for abandoning people to die over arbitrary reasons like a sprained ankle, it’s wholly possible they also consider Sauron’s torture of the orcs for Very Good Reasons as “fair works.”

But why does Sauron really torture the orcs? For Amazon to invent Adar with a revenge motive against him. But good writing could achieve this AND maintain Sauron’s repentance arc. So if Sauron played Galadriel, then Amazon fumbled over disordered morality or sacrificed a poignant lore arc in service to their own desires.

Hopefully I’m just catastrophizing. We shall see.

Am I delulu?

Anyways... seriously y'all. I started publicly sharing B/V stuff in March. I'm just a girly from Boston who is obsessed with ice dance and the athletic, emotional moments it creates. I also enjoy its connection to art. Their 2023 FD reminds me so much of the above painting. I like to post comparisons and Kiki with the girls. Ice dance slays so hard bc I've never seen anything like it before! I really earnestly just enjoy all of the mechanics.

The dedication, the performance. Y'all caught me vicariously living, babes! We all wish we could've been something like a ballerina or an ice skater. Seeing Bella skate, inspires me to do the things that little me dreamed of. Still! Which I enjoy just as equally. Because everyone seems so grumpy all the time and I love having something to cheer for and believe in. I've competed for 2 bike races since following Bella. Because I'm rooting for someone who does cool stuff and think, wait I can do cool stuff too. And the duo for sure inspires me to paint and write and listen to good music and all that other important stuff. Like a good tv show or my favorite book would.

But this is my crutch, y'all. These are very real people. Celebrity and influencer culture makes us depersonalize the figures sharing their lives. I can def see how I get lost in the delulu of their skating story, and Bella's underdog lore (which is mainly why I'm here y'all). I know it's still a risk that skaters can see this post, but I just wanna yap to no one about how weird the modern world is. And I think Tumblr is probably the most private place out of all socials to yap anyways.

So, my point. I feel weird! I feel so weird making edits and talking about how inspired I am by these strangers, especially when the inspiring strangers can see😭. Bella follows my insta account (as well as a bunch of others) bc she's a cool and connective girl broooo like Bella pls don't unfollow girly I'm just saying I don't wanna freak anyone out 😭🫶. Cause I couldn't imagine all these people being so focused on my life and what I do, it might stress me out bad yall.

I know I'm delulu, but more so I'm sensitive. That's why I like this sport. And I like to chit chat!!! Combined with this hyper digital, often fantasy focused world we live in (movies, tv, sports, books) I don't want to be confused with some crazy person who can't decipher boundaries bc I run an active stan account. And no hate to my fellow Stan accounts, this scenario feels unique bc ice skating fan accounts have audiences that often include people in the skater's communities or families, if not the skater themselves. It's not like I'm posting about Taylor Swift who won't see it. Girl, my T-swift is 5'ft tall and can jump 6ft high in the air. Her Eras Tour starts in Lake Placid this July😭. And you bet your ass I need to talk about it!

But I also gotta remind myself that this isn't my favorite TV show but people's real lives. Like fr. Sometimes the competition is so good you'd think it was scripted, y'all. God, like let me keep yapping forever huh?

Anyways, I am so glad I get to connect with my favorite athlete, as I'm sure her other fans appreciate it too. She's honest and open to chat for a reason, it keeps us feeling like we are on the road to the Olympics with her. I'm gunna keep posting cause I love the idea of turning all of booktok on her lore and getting a million people to root for them so I can see them at freaking SKAM 🤨. The conversation between influencer and audience is just hella interesting. And I hope I'm towing the line okay!

In my ideas file there also resides Bojan/Kiki, Bojan threesome (I went insane after new years and those instastories of Bojan dancing with Maja Keuc and I just want her and her boyfriend to take Bojan home and squish him like a bug), Jere/Pekka Rinne (please I need that giant of a man to take care of exhausted Jere), and also maybe something something Damon. (I read Janace sometimes when it's by an author I love but haven't really had anything to say about them myself.)

Since in your own rec post about fics that surprised you you talked about side-eyeing something first but giving it a try, have you tried Bojan’s Carefully Plotted Accident (to Ensure His Chances of Getting Monster Dick in Eurovision) by @oneshotdepresso and @mitochondriencocktail? It's crack treated seriously, monsterfucking, tentacles, but also somehow very sweet getting-together-during-ESC fic that will definitely suprise you into liking it!

AU that will force you to love it as it rips out your heart: Mustista mustimpaan and its sequel by kuurama, aka Space AU that people have definitely told you to read multiple times, so add me to the choir, read it and you won't be sorry! (You will be weeping and wailing, but it'll be worth it!)

My two favourite ESC era sadly-still-wip fics are The Best Laid Plans by @ana-chronista and Ugly Beautiful by slightlysexualfiction. Both are definitely worth it even though they are WIPs, and the latter contains what has to be my favourite tag of all time, "can I call it a slow burn when they are balls-deep in chapter one?" (who doesn't love that trope??)

Have you read When the night falls (stars in your eyes and sea in mine) by finallydeadd aka the Italian summer AU? Sadly unfinished but still worth it.

Ok, Full Court Press highlight thoughts:

I always just love little behind the scenes looks! Seeing insight to NIL stuff was cool. And I get they dont really have to, but it always slays me that these athletes cant really cook!And I thought it was a really good mix of players with them all being prominent but very different individuals. CC bias was predictable but also logical given Iowa had another run to the title game. I was mostly bothered by the amount of time we had her bf on screen. Like I get thats a significant other, but why are we hearing from this dude constantly? He just didnt really offer anything for the audience as a narrator imo. Also the others just may not be in relationships, but it seemed an odd choice given that just family members were featured otherwise for everyone. Cardoso's journey was really interesting to me. I wasnt aware of all of her tough family circumstances back home. Makes me feel good for her success. And Kiki.. honestly kinda just blindsided by how attractive she is and realization of who her aunt was! (Really brought home the fact that I dont get to watch enough west coast bball lol)

Oh and from your other recent asks - I sincerely hope, as someone who is half Irish, that no one here has ever thought Im British! (Kidding everyone, Ive got a total soft spot for the English and who doesnt adore a pub)

AHHH TWIN! The Liberty (please don't embarrass me against the Sky again) and Sun are my two main teams this season so tbh I very much was not rooting for Indiana at all but now? We are Fever fans on this page (that hurt to write actually).

Yes I love the BTS we got and seeing them in their day to day lives out of the court was really refreshing, like they're all so much more than just players and I think we forget that sometimes.

Ugh in general I don't understand why CC's boyfriend gets the attention he does like who the hell is that man even? Literally as plain as toast and just bad vibes all around tbh.

I think Kamilla's part was my favorite tbh. I knew a little bit about her background but really getting into the BTS of it made me feel so much for her. Her reunion with her family was everything and she deserves the whole world.

Kiki really is beautiful. I'm really glad they chose to do UCLA who honestly maybe didn't get the coverage they deserved last year. And getting a little into the Betts stuff, damn.

I'm really hoping we get Paige, Juju and Flau'jae next year, that'll feed families for years to come!

Favor by Kiki Clark - Book one in a trilogy. I own both available books in this series and the third one comes out next week. I'll be honest, it's been a while since I've read this, so I can't give you specifics, but Kiki Clark is one of those authors I trust enough to grab their stuff immediately.

In The Shadows by Hailey Turner - Book #3 in a 6-part series. Not sure why book 3 is free instead of book 1 but I will tell you that the whole series is on KU and it's pretty cool. Good X-Men vibes if the X-Men were a branch of law enforcement. I own the whole series in paperback. HT is heavy on the plot but she also throws some casual kink into her sex scenes. Alexei is one of my favorite characters and this is his romance. It feature a good couple'a tropes that I'm a sucker for. [HIGHLY recommend the audiobooks, too, if anyone is interested. I found this series through Audible.]

Lost Touch by Eliot Grayson - The 7th book in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone. A lot of books in the series aren't really connected, or only tangentially connected. Another series I own the paperbacks for. I read this book while DEEP in my depression state, though, so I remember almost nothing about it but EG is another author I automatically grab. [In case you're wondering, my favorite of the series is the one just before this, Lost & Bound. Only free if you have KU, though.]

Lacuna by N.R. Walker - I have not read this book, but I do know the author and I tend to like their stories. I'm looking forward to this one since it has fantasy elements. Most of NRW's stuff is contemporary, and the works I've read by them are among those.

Drive Me Crazy by Beth Bolden - I have read this one, it's decent if you want something that's a quick read. BB has a couple of different food-related series that are interconnected so there are mentions of other couples but I didn't have a problem following it without having read the others. [Sweet As Pie is another BB title and a better read imo but it's only free if you have KU.]

The Wrangler & the Orphan by Jackie North -- JN has another series called Love Across Time. I've read most of that series and own it in paperback. I haven't read this series, so I can't vouch for it, but the other one was pretty good.

Here are some authors on the list that are hit or miss for me, but fair warning, I haven't read any of the titles:

Professor Daddy by Nora Phoenix -- I own this one, but I don't seem to remember it? Maybe if I re-read it, idk. NP is technically a good writer, I just think they infodump too much sometimes and I find myself glazing a lot. I like books that I'm invested in emotionally and I don't find myself too invested in NP's stuff.

King of Askara by Victoria Sue - I own things by VS but some of their stuff is objectively terrible. I haven't read this title, I don't know which it will turn out to be.

Out of the Frying Pan by Elouise East - I have this ongoing probably where I know I've read things by Elouise East because the name is familiar but I can't for the life of me remember the title or if I liked it. I'm guessing they're somewhere in the middle re: writing, because if it was terrible, I'd remember it.

The Problem by Piper Scott -- They also write under Emma Alcott and I own all of EA's books in paperback. I also own all of Forbidden Desires (y'know, that dragon-shifter series I talked about a while ago) in paperback.

I cannot vouch for any other Piper Scott titles, but I do know that everything where her co-author is Susi Hawke is objectively terrible.

Well let's see,,, I have headcanons for most bits of the group as a whole (Löwenzahn included)

No particular order, I write them as I remember them lmfao 😭

Im so sorry if these seem all over the place, these are the ones I can remember off the top of my head with a few hours of sleep, I have a big document somewhere with a load of info in it for a project. I'll reference that when I get my hands on it again.

Also most of these are more lighthearted than you'd expect to some degree lol I'm better at remembering the stupid stuff rather than the angst stuff.

I personally believe Enero's got quite a posh background. That little interaction with Karin cemented that in stone for me. She's got a lot of money and likes to dish it out, although she occasionally relies on bribery to get her way.

The Löwenzahn are a mix of former infantry soldiers and kidnapped Doll candidates. The amount of troops is pretty much unknown because Bison likes to spread them out across the globe, moving them about more than the actual soldiers.

Février's visor is a cover-up for bad eyesight. A friend of mine mentioned it in a fic they wrote once and I stole the headcanon for myself. She didn't want to wear glasses because she thought they'd make her look like a nerd. Now she realises they make her look hot.

Santamu used to have a mini wardrobe of coats and other outerwear for Kiki whenever they got send out to colder areas. Aprile wasn't really the biggest fan of the whole thing.

Noembelu is/was very close to März. She knew she was quite shy and not very good at the whole socialising bit so she used to stick close to her to comfort. A bit like a cheetah/emotional support dog dynamic except the emotional support dog is secretly a cheetah with the same issues.

Xiayu, Jianyu, Cammy and Decapre have all tried talking to each other telepathically before, not that it's ever worked. (They got the idea from watching a cartoon about having twin powers or something like that.)

Prior to Kiki, the group had actually snuck another pet into the barracks. A fucking Komodo Dragon... at Satsuki's request.

Enero and Noembelu continuously try to have a conversation in Spanish, although, because of the differences between Latin American and European Spanish it generally becomes a huge mass of "What? Fuck you, slow down. Huh? What does that mean?" Etc.

The youngest Löwenzahn recruit was about 12. How she got there was unknown. All that mattered was that the older ones kept her as safe as they could.

A lot of the recruits (at least past-1991-2 recruits) are actually raised into the system. Same with the soldiers. They're taken at fairly young ages and raised within the facility. The distress this programme caused worldwide continued to feed Bison's never ending joy.

Noembelu hates her original name. After joining Shadaloo, she began to think that calling her family naming her "Little" was insulting. She doesn't see it like that anymore, but she still believes that Little Eagle was a different person to who she is now.

Xiayu frequently scares the others with her Opera makeup + skills. Practising Shua Ya has scared the shit out of Jianyu more than I can count.

Santamu used to do javelin and was really good at it, hence why she chose her weapon to be a spear. Although sometimes she wished she had chosen a weapon other than just that.

There was a group, a test group, prior to the main Dolls. Most of the information on them was burned. Some say there were two, others say three, five etc. Most people accept that the initial group are 6-feet under. However, the sites conspiracy theorists think otherwise.

Juni is forever crushing on at least three girls at the same time, whether she realises it or not.

Cammy remembers a lot of things the others don't, despite her amnesia. Only thing is,is that she remembers them only when under the influence.

Enero and Jianyu scrap constantly. No reason to, they just leap at each other at any given moment.

The rank system in place for the group is kind of complicated. There are a ton (sometimes a rank only having one person in it.) And difficult to go through just by memory. The main Dolls unit typically holds the highest, or highest achievable, rank in their selected area of expertise. The only ones that don't apply to this are Enero, Jianyu, Xiayu and Juni, as the last three don't really have an area of expertise aside from Close Quarters. Enero is excluded because she holds the rank just below General. Bison keeps her there because it keeps her loyal.

Jianyu and Juni hold Colonel-equivalent ranks, Jianyu having hers because Bison was very amused by her and Enero's constant fighting and Juni because she can be trusted enough to hold such an important title.

Xiayu is a Major. Jianyu promises not to tease her about it but sometimes she likes to test how far she can push her luck before she tries to break her nose.

März frequently has to be the one changing the HDMI cables and having to explain all the different channels. (She likes doing it when she has the confidence).

Aprile secretly wishes that she could've done more for the group whilst at Shadaloo, fearing she may have been too harsh on them during their time there. Nobody thinks bad of her, just she thinks they believe she's a failure, just a tiny remnant of her past that she's clung onto.

März' consciousness still exists, although where and what it was put into is unknown. Fangs torture machine? Seth 6.9? A spare body? Cammy has a feeling she's still out there somewhere, much like Bison. Although, unlike Dictator, she believes she'll come back against Shadaloo.

Jianyu and Xiayu currently get their funds via Contract Killing. Who or what they work for is unbeknownst to them. They just get paid... Also the reason why Xiayu still has the face paint. She's ashamed of their current state and wishes for better. Oh and because she doesn't want to be recognised by the police.

Santamu is part of Neo-Shadaloo, although on more of an external branch. She let them keep Kiki because she immediately connected with the drastic amounts of chaos.

Anne and Bess did exist, although, their records were wiped, anybody involved was forced to sign an NDA, and they were buried under the main Shadaloo site to avoid any civilian discovering them at some point.

Plenty of time to ruminate over my latest doll fixation. I am going to make a Ghibli doll someday I swear it. I've been incubating random flop attempts for over ten years at this point. I'm GONNA seize the inspiration and DO IT ... someday lol

Chest update, tumors have not changed size, still probably benign.

She needed to do a manual check up and was like wow I can tell you must be really sore I can feel how lumpy everything is. She thanked me for not flinching?? We did discuss already how sore I always am, but this is definitely the worst part of my cycle for that.

For the first time I really confided in this doctor how much more comfortable in my skin I'd be with NO chest. She was helpful to talk to but in her capacity she can't just do like, top surgery without pressing medical need. She explained what types of cosmetic surgery I could go to another doctor like a plastic surgeon for.

OR if I do this genetic test I've been putting off and it comes back 20% or more likelihood of breast cancer then they can perform a mastectomy. My half sister had breast cancer at my age, but somehow that only makes me at most a 17% risk according to their calculations. The world is so fucking bizarre sometimes.

She also said possibly severe anxiety over the possibility of cancer may be enough reason, though they would send me to a psychiatrist etc first. She said it like a negative but I took it like a "don't threaten me with a good time" cause damn I'd love a professional to see about my anxiety.

Anyway long story short I sure would love top surgery, for a shitload of tangled up reasons. Wish I'd been born with a different set of junk altogether but now gotta figure out how far I'd go to change what I've got.

Jäger, hands down. It's so rare to find someone who doesn't hit him with the "poor liddle innocent baby" beam and it drives me up the wall. He's about 40 and in the special forces ffs! Glaz often gets hit with the "uwu beam" too, but nowhere near as much as Jäger.

Honestly, the realest and most compelling argument is: "cause I don't like it when x character tops/bottoms and I'm the one in control of the thing when I write or look for nsfw content of them".

If you want a more honest answer, I find that Kapkan topping is the most boring possible choice and it doesn't even feel like it fits him tbh, he has that "repressed and begging to be railed" vibe to him, imo (and if it's pairing him with Glaz, it's falling into the boring, heteronormative stereotype of "artist guy has to be more in touch with his feelings and therefore more in tune with his feminine side, ergo he bottoms", which is everywhere -not only in this fandom- and is as compelling as a glass of spoilt milk to me)

Whenever the owner thinks they can decide who the people in there can follow on social media or not, or what interests are acceptable to like. Sadly, in my experience if some community or server describes itself as a safe place, it has about a 75% chance of being as described :(

Too fucking many 😂 Non-comprehensive list: ships I dislike (like Frost/Kapkan or Cav/Glaz, for example, and more), bottom Glaz, bottom Tachanka, top Kapkan, Nighthaven, Kali, Ace, a few people in the fandom (aside from blocking them), anything related to C-OD, and sometimes I temporarily might filter stuff related to a very popular piece of media I have no interest in so it doesn't clutter my feed.
